Dog faints from joy, reunited with woman after 2 years

dog faints from joyCasey (l) and Rebecca Ehalt

Unlike humans, our companion animals don’t deceive and dissemble. Dogs, especially, wear their hearts on their sleeves.
Rebecca Ehalt was working in Slovenia for two years, away from her home in Murrysville, PA, where her pet schnauzer, Casey, patiently waited for her return.
When Ehalt returned home, Casey whinnied piteously, jumped up and down, and twice fainted from joy.

Casey was taken to the vet and given a clean bill of health.  😀

Tears. Who says our dogs have no memories or thoughts of their own?

Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this most precious post. What a beautiful and loving response from this adorable dog.
We have a Labrador dog and when you look at her and talk to her, she has such goodness and purity in her eyes. It is clearly remarkable and I never cease to notice this holiness in her face.
