Dixie Chicks mock Donald Trump with photo at concert

It must suck to be such unoriginal, angry artists.

From Entertainment Weekly: The Dixie Chicks kicked off the American leg of their MMXVI world tour last week on a, shall we say, memorable note (more like unoriginal).
The country group performed “Goodbye Earl” in front of a photo slideshow, which included a defaced picture of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The moment took place during their Cincinnati concert on Wednesday. The image, which depicted Trump with facial hair and devil horns, recalled the Dixie Chicks’ infamous statement from a London concert in 2003. Then, lead singer Natalie Maines addressed the crowd, saying they were “ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas.” As a reference to George W. Bush, the political act caused a nationwide controversy that left fans and radio stations boycotting their music.
“Goodbye Earl,” too, stirred up drama for its adjoining music video that showed two women murdering an abusive husband.
This is not the first time the Dixie Chicks have taken a shot at Trump. Earlier in January, Maines tweeted, “As long as Donald Trump’s decisions for America are as solid as his decision about his hair, we’re in good shape.”

They should be renamed the DIXIE HAGS
(with Rosie O’Donnell as opening act.)
Who would go to see them? Who would PAY to go and see them?

Personally I would agree with them about the whole of the bush family, as they do crawl on their belly, but these “chicks” should have at least learned from that fiasco that there is a time to speak out and a time to ponder.
They just don ‘t seem to know the right side of this issue, or have they just become controversy shy. One should never rely the main stream media to form their views.

Maybe the Dixie Chicks are really Dixie Roosters; because they sure have an aggressive side, which is not feminine or classy. There was a time when entertainers lived up to their job requirements, to “entertain”. The Maines Chick has always had a “hard and rough persona” and a rotten attitude. They lack the style and grace, which female entertainers had in the past. Perhaps they should just “shut up and sing”! This may ruffle some people, but I do not like country music, as it is depressing and dreary. The Chicks are on the same level as Rosie O’Donnell and… Read more »

so juvenile…..why not post a pic of hillery with an aborted baby or a benghazi flag as well? I wonder what’s their beef with white males?

Being attacked on character by the left is like being called ugly by a toad. Especially the ‘celebrity’ left.

And to think the Left & the Dixie Chicks congratulate themselves on being “tolerant”! Psychologists call that the “grandiose false self” of the pathological narcissist, i.e., pure fiction.

Natalie Maines is an ignorant imbecile. She lets her bullshit mouth overload her moronic brain. When I hear one of their songs come on the radio, I change the channel. They should have learned from the George Bush put down that they are ignorant and should just keep their mouths shut or at least put something round in it.

These gals keep mixing their left wing politics with the music business. They are going to turn off three fourths of their potential customers. Dumb Chicks if you ask me.
