Democrats Responsible For Housing Meltdown

Rate this post

Did you know that the Bush Administration began raising the alarm about Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and calling for better regulation by Congress — as early as 2001, then again in 2003, and again in 2005 and 2006?
But the Democrats, specifically Congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass), Chair of the House Financial Committee, and his partner-in-crime, Sen. Chuck Shumer (D-NY), ignored the warnings, insisting instead that Fannie-Freddie and America’s housing market are just fine and dandy.
Here’s the video, rerouted through Canada. Watch it before it’s pulled from YouTube.

  1. I heard about this in 2003…course the SRM won’t report the facts on this AT ALL. McCain was a supporter of the bill in 2003 and he never mentioned it during his campaign (as far as I can remember). No wonder we are in the mess we are in now…no one with a pair of you-know-whats….Palin 2012!
