Democrat Congresswoman Says We Don't Deserve to Keep Our Money

The mind of the Left is a snake pit.
Democrats/Liberals/Progressives mainly succeed in masking their true selves. Every now and then, however, one of them lets slip their mask with a telling quip that reveals the monster behind the mask.

Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky

On Wednesday, Democrat Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky of Illinois was a guest on a Chicago radio show — Don Wade and Roma’s show on WLS 890 AM.
The Congresswoman said Americans “don’t deserve” to keep the money we earned because “we need taxes to support our society.”
She said:

“I’ll put it this way. You don’t deserve to keep all of it and it’s not a question of deserving because what government is, is those things that we decide to do together. And there are many things that we decide to do together like have our national security. Like have police and fire. What about the people that work at the National Institute of Health who are looking for a cure for cancer.”

Notice, however, that Schakowsky made no mention of the Department of Education or the National Endowment for the Humanities or National Public Radio or the many programs and bureaucracies that are utter wastes of taxpayers’ monies.

Schakowsky also says one reason the 2009 stimulus bill did not succeed was because it was not large enough.
Ever ready to carry the water for Obama, Schakowsky, a Reform Jew, also sounded off on the loss to Republican Bob Turner of Anthony Weiner’s House seat in New York’s heavily Jewish District 9.  Schakowsky denounced a fellow Jew, former New York Mayor Ed Koch, for endorsing Turner in the special election and for criticizing Obama’s record on Israel.
Schakowsky is pro-abortion, a warmist, and a proponent of the “public option” or single-payer — euphemisms for government-provided taxpayer-funded health care.
But Schakowsky’s patronizing insistence that the American people “don’t deserve” to keep all of our hard-earned dollars does not apply to herself.
According to Wikipedia, in 2004, her husband, lobbyist Robert Creamer, the executive director of the non-profit Illinois Public Action Fund (IPAF), was indicted in federal court on 16 counts of bank fraud involving three alleged check-kiting schemes that led several banks to experience shortfalls of at least $2.3 million. In August 2005, Creamer pleaded guilty to one count of failure to collect withholding tax, and bank fraud for writing checks with insufficient funds.
Although Jan Schakowsky had served on the IPAF’s board during the time the crimes occurred and had signed the IRS filings along with her husband, the Congresswoman was not accused of any wrongdoing.
On April 5, 2006, Creamer was sentenced to five months in prison and 11 months of house arrest.Creamer served his five-month incarceration at the Federal Correction Institute in Terre Haute, Indiana and was released on November 3, 2006.

  3. Except for her and left/libtard buddies, of course.

  4. Schakowsky is the poster child for the exact type of congress critter that must be run off at the point of a pitchfork if this country is going to survive.
This country is over $132 Trillion in overall debt.
    We cannot afford liberalism anymore.

  5. sage,
I chose that pic of the “Reform” Jewess not just for the eyes, but for that strange hand gesture. Is that “V for Victory”, or the number 2, or horns? It doesn’t help that she’s sporting black finger nail polish…..
