Democrat Congressman eats earwax; says Communism proven to work

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Georgia) may be losing his distinction as the Stupidest Member of Congress.

Recall that in 2010, the “my-shoe-size-is-bigger-than-my-IQ” Congressman feared that moving 8,000 U.S. Marines to Guam would tip over the island.

Johnson now has stiff competition from another Democrat, 50-year-old Rep. Joe Garcia (D-Florida).

Joe Garcia1On May 7, 2014, during a House Judiciary Committee markup broadcast live on C-SPAN, Garcia was seen sticking his finger in his ear, examining his “catch,” then eating his own earwax.

Brendan Bordelon reports for The Daily Caller, May 21, 2014, that Garcia made another gaffe this week, claiming that low crime rates in US-Mexico border cities with lots of federal immigration workers is proof that “Communism works.”

Garcia made the comment during a Google hangout he convened last week to talk about comprehensive immigration reform with supporters. The Democrat attempted to point out how, for all their talk about limited government, many Republicans are fine spending loads of government money on border security. He babbled, “Let me give you an example, the kind of money we’ve poured in. So the most dangerous — sorry, the safest city in America is El Paso, Texas. It happens to be across the border from the most dangerous city in the Americas, which is Juarez. Right? And two of the safest cities in America, two of them are on the border with Mexico. And of course, the reason is we’ve proved that Communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime. But that isn’t what we should be doing on the border. The kind of money we’ve poured into it, and we’re having diminishing returns.”

The video was uploaded to YouTube by the America Rising PAC, a Republican PAC founded in 2013 and dedicated to opposition research. It’s also the same group that originally uploaded Garcia’s earwax escapade.

Garcia, who is of Cuban descent along with many of his south Florida constituents, told the Miami Herald he never meant to espouse Communism — and was instead taking a tongue-in-cheek shot at his GOP opponents.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

But Garcia’s district is already rated a toss-up by the Cook Political Report, and with their second attack on the congressman in a week America Rising clearly senses an opening in the south Florida district.

Obama picks noseWe already have a president who picks his nose in public, and a first lady who licks the snot dribbling from her nose.

First Lady of Snot

Now we have a Congressman who eats earwax.

All Demonrats.

I urge Garcia’s GOP opponent to make full use of the video and the three screenshots I took of Garcia digging for and eating his earwax.

  4. I was just fine until I view this . . . now I am sick to my stomach! Imagine having goof balls like this running our beloved country.

  5. Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this interesting post. Sickening! His comments are indeed noteworthy: an advocate of Communism, an enemy that we have fought for decades and decades.

  6. If “communism worked” then why is it that Russia was left as a cesspool of ruination for decades, why is north korea totalitarian backwater, and why have China’s indigenous religions been stomped into the dust and they have openly had pollution problems, and problems resulting from the one-child mandate policy wherein many girl children were killed? Why is child sex trade in cuba and each of these other countries so prevalent, why are people left living in reprehensible conditions while the “leaders” live in luxury, and finally, why is it in each example horrendous genocides and holocausts were committed in the name of communism?

The answer is “communism” (read: a platform for governmental satanism) not only doesn’t work, but is actively evil and was designed that way by the talmudist satanists themselves.

    • Kudos, Seamas @ Communist’s personal experience:

In 90’s–FALL of Russian Communism/’bloc” countries (Putin re-collecting today, I guess)…we helped bring a Russian foreign exchange student here. Long/hard story, so I won’t go into it. Suffice to say—It was not a “feel-good ambassador-at-large thing”…but a rescue. Our student had spent a month in agony in a Soviet socialized med hosptial trying to pass kidney stones …w/NO care or intervention to speak of…just left on her own at tender age, stacked up in a hosptial bed w/thousands of others who were EQUALLY uncared-for. (Obamacare, here we come!) Soviet schooling went 7AM-5 PM…w/ the ‘state” providing meals. Breakfast/break/lunch were usually a sort of biscuit or bread. Zip on anything else. Then you went home for supper to an empty refrigerator…of which we learned fr another ex-Soviet surgeon—-(So. Cal has a HUGE “refugee Soviet” population)—might have some potatoes & Vodka….period.- Our student’s father had been a military officer & was UNPAID for over a year (Obama military/veterans …here we come!!) The family survived b/c their OLD ancestral family farm 6-8 hrs East by train, was still there. It’d been confiscated by Soviet gov’t. , but no one lived on it any more…& no one farmed it. So, our student’s & her cousin’s family spent summers camping at the old farm, growing/preserving things they could eat for the winter. And…..ea family in her constellatioin of relatives had only ONE child….all they could dare hope to feed/keep alive. Our student had to give up her pet dog, a little poodle, because they could not feed it. Ditto her cousin’s family. God only knows what happened to those pets- probably someone ate them. When she had to return…we sent her back w/a water-purifier to hook up to a household faucett…hoping to protect her fr kidney stones again. Within days of her return, the family “apartment” (2 rooms) was burglarized & everything she’d taken back fr America was stolen.

I could go on……but let’s stop here…..What sort of success was Communism for this “average” Russian family? Hmmmmm? Seems to me it was ONLY a success to the the pseudo-Czars who threw out the old Czar. I bet no Communist ranking party member had to serve without pay & w/no hope or knowledge of when or how they would be compensated for their job…& thus, keep themselves/ family alive…Bet they never lay helpless & mostlly alone in a hospital for a month for a kdiney stone …..Bet they didn’t eat their dog…..or limit, by any means, their children to ONE….or sneak out to camp for 3 months in a desolate, abandoned area (that USED to be a thriving bread-basket for the country ) every summer to grow their own food so they could live through the winter….

What I don’t get is….where do these people like this Congressman get their information on which they base these flagrant claims? FOR SURE…they never talked to people who walked the walk….NO PRIMARY SOURCES..for all I know….he got his info abt success of communismm the same place that Lenin did…..out of thin air while sitting in a library in England…or worse yet….Georgia.

  7. Too gross to think about for long, but I have a suggestion. Put him on his side, place a wick in his ear, and use the wax for a candle.

  8. There is only one kind of “good” commie.

As for Hank Johnson, you all will be pleased to know that Cynthia McKinney’s former constituents in the 4th District primary Tuesday voted to keep him.

Maybe Guam really will tip over. 😉

  9. Leeann Springer

What a nasty man! He needs cracked on the knuckles! Leeann

  10. Following Adam Smith free market capitalism is the natural way by which humanity should live. G. B. Shaw, the Illuminist Socialist got it wrong with a famous saying. I will write it correctly, “Those who can, do; those who can’t, because of envy, desire for power, sense of inferiority because of personal ignorance, laziness, incompetence, etc., become Marxists so they can tell everybody else what to do.” “The people” to benefit from such an economic system is limited to themselves. And, Karl, what were you taking when you wrote about “dictatorship of the proletariat?” Or was that Engels’ fantasy?

  11. Obviously, this guy wasn’t paying attention when East Germany and the Soviet Union were around (he’s old enough)…
