In the quintessential American spirit of laughing in the face of a grim crisis….
Drudge Report has gone to the dark side. Check out Whatfinger News, the Internet’s conservative frontpage founded by a military veteran!
The last one is touching. There’s nary a roll of TP to be had within 25 miles of here. That will be what I remember about this when we get past it (I’m assuming now that we will), the frenetic self-interest of people clutching and grabbing armloads of toilet paper without a thought for the elderly and sick. Disgusting
I’m afraid I am going to be tagged as a hoarder if things ever do get back to normal. My husband and I typically only go to Costco about 4 – 5 times a year and therefore do stock up on TP and Paper towels so we don’t have to go into the store more often wasting gas, time, and buying less than if we made more frequent trips. Love the Shepherd & Ebola memes!
DiCaprio thing: That’s what’s going on here at my house: Hair up in a bun for over a week & only “touch it up” every now & then. No make up. No jewelry, & only sweatshirts/ wool socks/ clogs /drawstring pants. Much time on the couch (cats LOVE it) w/fuzzy coverlet, watching Hallmark Christmas (again) movies, cleaning /organizing the pantry & other “sore spots” during commercials. A lot of tea by day & wine by night. Stopped watching news. In bed by 8, up at 6 AM. Cooking/eating more than ever, not even caring about carbs, but lost 8 lb.… Read more »
