Cookie Cartel

A 13-year old Girl Scout who set up her cookie stand Monday in front of a marijuana clinic in San Francisco sold 117 boxes of cookies in just two hours.

cartel02According to the Washington Free Beacon, Danielle Lei set up her Girl Scout cookie stand next to The Green Cross, a marijuana clinic, where “Girl Scout Cookies” flavored marijuana is actually sold inside.

“It’s no secret that cannabis is an appetite stimulant – so it’s not shocking that a lot of our patients came and purchased cannabis, and then saw the cookies and purchased them,” said Holli Bert, a spokesperson for The Green Cross.

KPIX 5 reports that Bert said after 45 minutes Lei had to call for “reinforcement cookies, back-ups.”

Lei’s mother told reporters that while she did not want to be on television, she wanted to make clear that her daughter set up at this location not to make a political statement. She said she used it as an opportunity to take her daughter around to different parts of the city and that it allowed her to expose her daughter to the topic of drugs.

The report indicates that many people have praised Lei for her business savvy and understanding of the economic concept of supply and demand.

  1. “…many people have praised Lei for her business savvy…” and all this is fine & good, but please note: it happened in San Francisco, capital of Lalalandia.

  2. I was a Girl Scout leader back in the 1980s in CA. I had been a Girl Scout myself in the 1950s. The difference between the organization in my day and present day was startling. When I saw how brutally competitive the cookie sales were run, I quit and took my daughters with me. It is a cutthroat business and it is run like one.

  3. And yet, the entrepreneur in me is fascinated. I would love to start a franchise, to be placed everywhere these pot stores spring up. The name I would choose is self explanatory. It would be named, “Milk and Cookies” 😀

  4. Who knows where this could lead, for finding other venues to sell cookies. While the potheads feed their recreation/ addictions; the Girl Scouts can sell and feed them cookies. They may even come up with new cookie names, like “Mary Janes” or “Potadoos”. If I ever had a daughter, she would never be allowed to join the GS. That’s what the liberals love; to destruct every fiber of decent society. Makes folks wonder about the parents who haven’t taken their daughters out of the organization. I feel sorry for the girls, because selling cookies to potheads, is not the American way or an admirable accomplishment. Leeann

  5. She gets admiration for her buiness savvy while the cupcake girl and the lemonaide stand kids get shut down……hmmmm.

  6. And of course, all the fags bought them cuz the G. Scouts are pro-fag now, and of course, it’s San Francisco!

  7. I thought it was pretty good thinking for Lei to figure this out. BRAVO to her! However,I have to protest anyone shutting down a lemonade stand,or anything else like that. These kids are getting a first-hand education on the way business, and the economy, works, and as it always has, this lesson will serve them well as they grow into adulthood. But shutting them down deprives them of this important lesson, and they grow up to be Liberals.
