Commie traitor comes from "a long line of sad people"

Jane Fonda, ‘Peace, Love and Misunderstanding’ Star, On The Occupy Movement

Commie traitor Hanoi Jane has a new movie coming out.  So of course, she’s giving presses spewing her opinion.  Here’s an excerpt from HuffingtonPuffington’s interview with woman.
HuffPo:  In “Peace Love and Misunderstanding” (out in limited release now), Fonda plays Grace, the spirited-yet-estranged mother of the newly single Diane (Catherine Keener) and grandmother to Zoe (Elizebeth Olsen) and Jake (Nat Wolff). In the film, Fonda’s character plays a war protester, which — considering Fonda’s outspoken traitor history — led us into some interesting conversations about her political past and her thoughts on current protest, namely the Occupy movement.
You look like you’re having the time of your life in this movie. I was. I had a very good time, yes.
Is that why you chose it? I’d never played a character like her. Contrary to what some people think, I’m not like her. I never was a hippie. Also, I have a daughter and grandchildren and the idea that I would have been deprived of seeing my daughter for 20 years and never meet my grandchildren moved me very much. And, you know, forgiveness is a big theme in my life and so I wanted to make a movie about it.
Your character is a war protester. Could you have played this character in the late ’70s or early ’80s? Well, I wasn’t old enough [laughs].
True. The age of the character aside, though. Aside from whether I would have been old enough? I think, probably back in the ’70s, it would have been a little bit too … you know, I never was that kind of a war protester. I was more of an organizer; it was a little bit more serious. And I wasn’t known for my sense of humor in those days. I probably would have thought it was a little too light and frivolous, vis-à-vis the war — when the war was going on. But, now, it’s a very different time. And I’m different.
Why has your sense of humor changed? Because I spent ten years with Ted Turner. He taught me how to laugh [laughs]. It’s true.
You really think that you didn’t know how to laugh before meeting him? Not really, no. I come from a long line of a lot of sad people.

Again, your character is a war protester. What’s your opinion of the Occupy movement? Right on! I say right on! It’s an important, wonderful movement. It doesn’t fit the mold.
Is that what you like about it? That it doesn’t fit the mold? I think that’s what allows it to be successful in its own way. Because it has no leader; it has no set of rules. But, the values are good and it makes a difference. And I say right on.
Your point about not having a leader is interesting. It limits the range if there’s a leader. This can occupy a big space on a lot of different areas, but the core value is, “What about democracy?” It’s about democracy and against greed.
For so many reasons. It was the first time I learned how important movies can be. They really do affect people’s lives.
Against greed?  This coming from a woman who has an estimated net worth of $120 million and her former husband Ted Turner who has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion.  Nothing greedy about that I guess, even though Rosanne Barr would like to behead both of them.
Forgiveness is a big theme in her life?  Of course it is, especially when it comes to selling books being greedy.  We need to forgive her for “That two-minute lapse of sanity will haunt me until the day I die.” Explain away all you want you American traitor.
You come from a long line of a lot of sad people?  I come from a long line of family members who fought and served in the military, including a father who served in Vietnam and Korea. I learned from him how important service to your country can be.  Those who fight/fought to protect and serve this great nation really do affect people’s lives.

  1. She is sickening.
I’m sure ex-husband Ted Turner’s womanizing, which allegedly led to their divorce, made Jane Fonda “laugh” and very “happy”. Liar and hypocrite.

  2. Don’t blame this female dog! Jane Fonda was ahead of her time. Her treason and allegiance is no difference the the now reiging President.
The difference is about 45 years of liberal communist education in our nations schools.
We let it happen and didn’t stop it when it counted.
Romney is what we will settle for. What a shame.

  3. Amazing what Hollywood denizens can get away with and still have a career and remain free. She was at a book signing in KC a few years ago and ended up being spit on by a Vietnam vet. Too bad her marriage to Turner ended…they are perfect for each other. So he taught her laugh, huh? Yeah, he makes me laugh too.

  4. Wonder what ever happened to her so called Christianity. I’ve never seen any evidence of it.

  5. Don’t blame you GF…I could barely get through the post without a few obscenities 😉

  6. I wouldn’t pee in her ear if her brain was on fire…

  7. Why do you guys consider her a traitor and why did and do you consider the NVA enemies? I mean, after all, we invaded THEIR sovereign nation and stuck our nose into THEIR civil war. Do you think Jesus would have invaded them and dropped napalm on entire villages of their people?

    • You poor ignorant person who confers on himself the title of “Doc”:
Article III Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution says: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”
Jane Fonda is, by the Constitution’s definition, a traitor, because she went to North Vietnam — then an enemy state of the U.S.A. with which America was at war in which American soldiers were dying — and made propaganda for them and posted to have her pic taken at an anti-aircraft battery.

    • Obviously YOUR dad didn’t serve in Vietnam. Get back to me when a loved one of yours obeys our CIC, fights, and has to suffer the consequences of a fellow American TRAITOR.

      • No, my dad served in the pacific arena of world war 2. The last honorable war this once good country was involved in.
He was very against the baby killers who participated in Vietnam war.

        • The last honorable war? Your opinion.
Baby killers? You could say some were. Vietnam was a mess, no war is ever perfect. Just ask anyone in the sandbox who has seen our soldiers beheaded and hung up for public display.
This post is about Hanoi Jane being a TRAITOR to our own country and a complete hypocrite.

          • Yeah, “Doc” Mabes,
Stick to the point of DCG’s post!
Her post is about Jane Fonda — not whether the VN war was a just war, not whether American soldiers “killed babies” in that war. Unless of course, your subtext is that since you believe the VN war to be “unjust” (whatever that means), then to betray America and American soldiers in that war is not treason. To which, my response is that then BOTH you and Hanoi Jane should be tried for treason.

    • Oh don’t get me started…
B*tch shoulda paid for her TREASON to America and our soldiers.

    • Since you’re so much into WWJD, I don’t think He would have approved of the way Hanoi Jane turned on POW’s who were probably, for the most part, just young boys following orders, whether you agree with the war or not. And yes, I have a dead relative on the Wall, Green Beret, 1969, you’re welcome. He lived to the ripe old age of 20.

  8. To be able to cast such disparaging judgement on other people like I see you guys do all the time, I assume you must know a lot more about Jesus than I do. After all, you have some how managed to contradict most of Jesus’s teachings on judging people and all those sermons he gave about hypocrisy. Therefore you must be close to God in order to feel safe in disrespecting so much of his teachings. Is he really ok with the way you carry yourselves?

    • “you have some how managed to contradict most of Jesus’s teachings on judging people and all those sermons he gave about hypocrisy”
And what are those, pray tell? Only those who haven’t actually read and studied the Gospels insist on taking Christ’s injunction about judging out of context.
Jesus is not a wimp. He was not “tolerant” of the moneychangers in the Temple; He was not “tolerant” of the hypocritical Pharisees; He was not “tolerant” of “the lukewarm” — people (like you!) who will not take a firm stand against wrong and evil. He warned us that, like a sword, He would divide child from parent. Does that sound “non-judgmental” to you? In fact, the Second Person became incarnate so that He can suffer and die to expiate our sins. That’s how “tolerant” He is of evil and of sin!

  9. I’m not even trying to troll or get a rise out of you..I just honestly don’t understand where you’re coming from. I don’t understand your predictable seemingly pre-programmed reaction to me either ” you must be the product of failed liberal education system” etc etc etc, I see the same robotic responses all over the conservative blogosphere. Which is ironic, I remember mostly conservative teachers and/or no blatant political bias way back when I was in school. I resent group think — which is why I don’t follow political commentators like so many conservatives tend to do. ( many of you put people like Rush Limbaugh on a pedastal and don’t miss a single program … Its like you think he’s smarter than you and you wouldn’t know how to think on any particular issue without hearing his take on a matter…

  10. Doc Mapes, a perfect example of the liberal socialistic educational system that has created you as one of their products. And you say you don’t like group think. Well my boy; you are that group think!
Those who stay out of that group think and remain an independent individual inspite of the liberal molding which you have mistakenly call conservative are but independant thinkers.
Oh, by the way, we did not invade Vietnam; we were asked by the President of that country to come in and help them. Oops, some of that socialistic group mind set got you.

  11. Is she on something… still? The mind boggles.
