CDC: Venereal diseases at all time high, esp. among homo/bisexual men

Are we in Hell yet?
Lisa Bourne reports for LifeSiteNews that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) rose to an all-time high in the United States last year, “creating a threat that’s challenging the health field.”
Jonathan Mermin, director of CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, warned that the STD threat is rising faster than health providers can respond:

“Increases in STDs are a clear warning of a growing threat. STDs are a persistent enemy, growing in number, and outpacing our ability to respond.”

According to the CDC’s annual Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance Report released on Sept. 26, 2017:
(1) More than 2 million cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis were reported nationwide in 2016, the highest number ever.
(2) Most of the new cases diagnosed (1.6 million) were chlamydia, which affects both sexes.
(3) Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM) led in gonorrhea and syphilis:

  • While gonorrhea increased among men and women in 2016 (to 470,000 cases), gonorrhea registered the sharpest increase, at 22%, among men. The CDC report said: “Research suggests that a large share of new gonorrhea cases are occurring among MSM. These trends are particularly alarming in light of the growing threat of drug resistance to the last remaining recommended gonorrhea treatment.
  • Syphilis rates increased from 2015 to 2016 by nearly 18% to nearly 28,000, the majority of which are among men who have sex with men. More alarming still, half of MSM diagnosed with syphilis also have HIV.

(4) Along with gay and bisexual men, STDs are also accelerating in women and infants:

  • Syphilis increased 36% among women.
  • Syphilis increased 28% (600+ cases) among newborns (congenital syphilis), resulting in “more than 40 deaths and severe health complications among newborns”. Gail Bolan, director of CDC’s Division of STD Prevention, said congenital syphilis is entirely preventable and treatable: “Every baby born with syphilis represents a tragic systems failure. All it takes is a simple STD test and antibiotic treatment to prevent this enormous heartache and help assure a healthy start for the next generation of Americans.”

All three STDs — chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis — can be cured with antibiotics. But if they remain undiagnosed and untreated, they can have serious health consequences, including infertility, life-threatening ectopic pregnancy, infant stillbirth, and increased risk for HIV transmission.

When seroconversion happens the patient will die from Kapos’s Sarcoma, a form of lymphoma, Pneumocystis carinii infection, a lung infection causing pneumonia, and the dwindles, just wasting away.

antibiotics can only go so far….there are increasing drug-resistant syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea infections in usa as well. this is what happens when you walk away from God and His Word. These people need to repent and go to Jesus and beg the Holy Spirit for healing and mercy and live life according to God and His Word. Walk the right path that is straight and narrow instead of the road that is wide and very full of lost and damned souls heading for hell. hell is living inside their bodies and they don’t even know it. A 6-colored rainbow… Read more »

MomOfIV . . . You have stated what is truly painfully obvious to those who listen to The Lord. Let’s hope that more of the lost will hear the whisperings of the Spirit, and heed it’s message.

Everyone under the sun knows about using condoms for prevent STDs. It’s practically mandatory for kids in public education these days. So why are so many choosing to not use them? That’s rhetorical…I’ve got a few good assumptions.

not even condoms are 100%, they are really stupid to play russian roulette with their lives…
I believe they are better off exercising self-control, courtship, and marriage….of course, society and media will say differently.

There are reasons why heterosexual sex is the only acceptable practice. Those who act like monkeys die like monkeys. Without slicing this as thin as most people seem to like, I will not be putting homos on the altar for everyone to worship.
If people want to inject poisons into their veins or put their body parts where they don’t belong, I suppose they can. When they sicken and die as a result it shouldn’t be a surprise.

“When they sicken and die as a result it shouldn’t be a surprise.” I’m tempted to add that it shouldn’t be our responsibility to care for them, but there ARE innocents who get afflicted with these diseases as well. Those who intentionally expose themselves to the behavior that gives them these diseases CAN’T claim they didn’t know it could happen to them-it’s been discussed to death. With that said,it’s really HARD for me to work up any sympathy for infected Sodomites. I AM very,VERY sorry for those who have been,or will be,infected through no fault of their own. They deserve SO much… Read more »

THIS is Hugh Hefner’s “legacy.” I understand: Old Hef made a bet: There is no God, therefor, everything is permitted. Yeah, well I call it a SUCKER’S BET. But as I have said before, this is not Hugh Hefner’s fault alone: I have mentioned the four “intellectual” ideological founders of the 20th Century before: Marx, Darwin, Freud and Nietzsche, in the descending order of their impact and importance—SATANISTS ALL. (Only Marx was a true heterosexual. That’s right: Darwin, Freud and Nietzsche were homosexuals—what they used to call sodomites.) I have also mentioned Freud’s disciple, Carl Jung. And Freud’s nephew, marketeer… Read more »

Yeah, he had a good run. Ninety-one years seems a long time, until you compare it to eternity. There are many who are saying, like the philosopher cabby in “D.C. Cab”, ‘don’t let your dick run your life”, seemed not to affect Hefner.
Well, 91 years IS a long time. Suffering the rest of eternity cut off from God just might tend to wear on one.

Having worked for some years prior in the public health service….this situation has always ired me: HIV and all STD’s are “voluntary” diseases….like lung cancers caused by smoking cigarettes. When you voluntarily ignore the safety measures and choose to have unprotected sex with a stranger, or a known, promiscuous homosexual or bisexual, or casual sex shared with someone ELSE who is “into” casual sex….you are, in actuality, sharing your sexual “machinery” with EVERY other person with whom your “partner” has had sex in the last many years. It’s like sexual roulette…in fact, you might be safer actually playing Russian roulette….only… Read more »

So much for one of the many myths that doctors and obstetricians parrot about how great circumcision is, they claim that it also keeps you from getting STD’s.
I guess people don’t know what condoms are for?
