UN’s dire warning: Terrifying climate change data means we’re doomed in 12 years!

The UN isn’t going to let Al Gore have the last word.

From NY Post: Earth is on track to face devastating consequences of climate change — extreme drought, food shortages and deadly flooding — unless there’s an “unprecedented” effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, a new United Nations report warns.

The planet’s surface has already warmed by 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit) and could see a catastrophic 1.5 C (2.7 F) increase between 2030 and 2052, scientists say.

“This is concerning because we know there are so many more problems if we exceed 1.5 degrees C global warming, including more heat waves and hot summers, greater sea level rise, and, for many parts of the world, worse droughts and rainfall extremes,” Andrew King, a climate science academic at the University of Melbourne, said in a statement to CNN.

The stunning statistics were released Monday in a report by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which warned that we must make “rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society” in order to save our planet.

Scientists with the Nobel Prize-winning IPCC said that in order to have even a 50-50 chance of staying under the 1.5-degree cap, the world must become “carbon neutral” by 2050. Any additional carbon dioxide emissions would require removing the harmful gas from the air.

If nothing is done, Earth can expect temperatures to rise by 3 degrees Celsius, more frequent or extreme droughts, an increase in deadly hurricanes and as much as 90 percent of coral reefs dying off — including the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, according to the report.

Countries in the Southern Hemisphere would see the most drastic effects.

“The next few years are probably the most important in human history,” IPCC co-chair Debra Roberts, head of the Environmental Planning and Climate Protection Department in South Africa, told Agence France-Presse.

Efforts to curb climate change must also extend beyond the 2015 Paris Agreement reached among 197 countries — which President Trump withdrew the US from in June 2017.

“The window on keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees C is closing rapidly and the current emissions pledges made by signatories to the Paris Agreement do not add up to us achieving that goal,” said King.

Staying within the 1.5 degrees C target, instead of 2 degrees C, would result in the global sea level rising 3.9 inches less by 2100, reducing flooding. It would also cut down on species loss and extinction and reduce the impact on various ecosystems.

“There were doubts if we would be able to differentiate impacts set at 1.5 C and that came so clearly. Even the scientists were surprised to see how much science was already there and how much they could really differentiate and how great are the benefits of limiting global warming at 1.5 compared to 2,” Thelma Krug, vice chair of the IPCC, told Reuters. “And now more than ever we know that every bit of warming matters.”

Senators accuse State Dept. of defying Congress with $500M UN climate payment

Whatevs….it’s not like $500M is that big of a deal. Just tack it on to the $19,000,000,000,000+ national debt!
kerry and obama
Via Fox News: Two Republican senators are accusing the State Department of misusing taxpayer dollars by green-lighting $500 million for a United Nations climate change program without first obtaining congressional approval. The senators now are demanding the department justify the “cloak-and-dagger” contribution to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) – even threatening legal action.

Senator Cory Gardner

Senator Cory Gardner

Lawyers cannot replace the constitutional requirement that only Congress can appropriate money,” Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., said, adding that he’s demanding a “full legal analysis.”
Gardner, in a statement to FoxNews.com, alleged the department was trying to “wave a magic wand and write a half-billion dollar check to a Green Climate Fund that they admit was never authorized by Congress.” He also vowed to “pursue legislative action that prevents cloak-and-dagger re-programming of money outside of congressional approval.”
At the center of the dispute is whether the State Department abused its authority in shifting funds between an existing program and the climate fund. The Obama administration – despite resistance from congressional Republicans — has committed the U.S. to contributing $3 billion to the fund, a program established by the United Nations to help poor countries adopt clean energy technologies to address climate change. Nearly 200 other nations have agreed to provide $100 billion per year by 2020, from private and public sources.
Along with Gardner, Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., maintains Congress has not allocated any funding for what he calls the “international climate change slush fund” and has in fact “prohibited the transfer of funds to create new programs.”
The State Department acknowledges the funding was never explicitly approved by Congress – but argues the department was within its authority to shift funding to the Green Climate Fund, because Congress did not explicitly prohibit funding the GCF.
Under questioning by Barrasso at a March 8 Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Heather Higginbottom told the committee the funds were diverted from the department’s Economic Support Fund — which provides economic funding to foreign countries — to the GCF after a full review by department lawyers.
State Department spokeswoman Katherine Pfaff also confirmed to FoxNews.com the source of the funding was the economic fund, but could not say from which exact program the money came. And she bluntly addressed the GOP senators’ accusation. “Did Congress authorize the Green Climate Fund? No,” she said, adding that department lawyers “reviewed the authority and the process under which we can do it.”  The administration, meanwhile, has requested another $750 million for the GCF in its fiscal 2017 budget. Higginbottom also insisted they were not required to notify Congress about the transfer from the Economic Support Fund.
green is the new red
At the hearing, though, Barrasso said the first installment of the $3 billion pledge was “a blatant misuse of taxpayer dollars.”

FAUX NEWS secretly supports illegal immigration

Fox News Agenda Revealed

Fox News Agenda Revealed

Read Breitbart Article

It’s not about Trump, it’s about national sovereignty

Did you know that Fox News is secretly helping illegal immigrants flood into America, thus destabilizing both our elections and our economy? I didn’t know that until I saw this story today on Breitbart.

I truly don’t know if Donald Trump is a good man, or a Trojan Horse for the Clintons, or something else I wouldn’t like. But I do know one thing. Trump’s actions are not merely forcing the other candidates to show their true colors. In standing up to Fox News this week, he has uncovered the fact that Fox News is working as hard to destroy American sovereignty as any Leftist group in the country. And we now have some insight as to why Fox is pushing Rubio and Cruz on us; both candidates have an indelible record of trying to open the door wide to unfettered immigration.

Did you get that? Fox is our enemy

It’s obvious that there are some really good people at Fox, many in fact. But now we know much more than Fox wanted us to know about it’s owner, Rupert Murdock.
And if this revelation proves true, then what other pieces of the FAUX NEWS secret agenda might yet come to light?

Fair and Balanced?

Conservatives, does Fox have your back?
Or is Fox about to shoot you in the back?

Strange Bedfellows on FoxNews

moore-kelly
https://www.breitbart.com/video/2016/01/26/michael-moore-god-bless-you-megyn-kelly-war-on-women-question-to-trump-was-great/

Yup, you read that correctly. Megyn Kelly and Michael Moore team up to attack Donald Trump.

Folks, the masks are coming off. Some big players are accidentally showing their cards, and revealing their plans. This current spat is about Kelly hitting Trump with the Liberal dag whistle, “the war on women.”
Where should we stand? In my humble opinion, we should throw out our political constructs of Democrat/Republican, and stand with God. We should wear ourselves out in prayer to the Almighty for the rescue of our nation from the secret power players and puppeteers. And above all, make sure that we are standing with the Lord Jesus Christ on every issue.

Is anyone else out there fed up with the endless fear mongering?

  • The top lines were in my email.

Every day my email is full of this crap.

Psalm 91
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Is the computer your servant or your master?

How to stay in the driver’s seat of your time usage

pal-girls-islamic-jihad-w-gunsMy typical morning for the last few years has been to get up, pour a coffee, and turn on FoxNews. Within ten minutes I will have heard a list of one alarming thing after another, sending me into a cycle of searching out the atrocity-du-jour, and blogging about it, trying to sound the alarm as widely as possible.
freakedoutThis wastes my time, often listening to lengthy stories, only to realize the speaker has the mental acuity of a poached egg.
And what is worse, it sets me off balance, and I spend my day being reactive instead of proactive.
Well, for the last month or two I have chosen a different order to my day, one that puts me back in control, back at the steering wheel instead of the back seat of my day.
I commend it to you:

They will have no fear of bad news

nofear

Blood Moons, EMP attacks, ISIS beheadings, Iran nukes, Obama, Republican betrayals, Yellowstone super volcano, Ebola, muslims in America, FEMA camps

We are a highly news-conscious group. I rarely go a day ignoring the news. Usually I turn on FoxNews before my first sip of coffee. Within 5 minutes I have seen one terrifying story after another before thinking about anything else, setting  me onto a desperate binge of searching out more of the story and spending the day seeking to alert everyone that the sky is falling.
Then the Holy Spirit put a spotlight on this verse, and subsequently the rest of the psalm. I immediately began to feel peace. My new morning routine is to make sure I read some of the Bible before allowing myself to see the news. The difference is amazing.
Psalm 112 is worth the trouble to memorize, to “hide it in your heart.”  ~ TD

Psalm 112 (NIV)

Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands.
Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.
Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
their righteousness endures forever;
their hornc will be lifted high in honor.
The wicked will see and be vexed,
they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

So who will have no fear of bad news?

“…those who fear the Lord
who find great delight in his commands.”

Parable of the lost sheep

Parable of the lost sheep

Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He went to the ordinary people, with all their sins and blemishes; with all the usual sins. He healed them, but He rejected the self-righteous religious specialists. So what was the difference? The screwed up people knew they were screwed up, and feared the Lord. The super religious thought they had it so correct that they did not fear the Lord.
There is only one kind of righteousness that actually counts, the righteousness we are clothed in through faith in Jesus Christ.
Let’s all make sure we qualify.

John D. Rockefeller and the Bible

John-D-Rockefeller-senHaving heard of John D. Rockefeller’s Christian faith, I searched online. There were some who called him a capitalist devil, and others who called him a devout Christian. All agreed he was a brilliant businessman. This is of interest to me because we speak often about a “Rothschild Rockefeller Illuminati” connection.
I am personally convinced “Old Man Rockefeller” was an amazing Christian, and that he successfully passed the faith on to his son, John D. Rockefeller Jr. Because of his Biblical recognition that having great wealth would bring an equally great responsibility and accounting before God, Junior was reluctant  to assume control of his father’s empire, when Senior wanted to retire.
johnjr
John Jr. raised his children to be God fearing Bible believing Christians. They prayed, memorized scriptures daily, and were taught to live moral Christian lives. He and his wife Abbey had six children, a daughter and the five Rockefeller brothers:

  • Abigail Aldrich “Abby” Rockefeller (November 9, 1903 — May 27, 1976)
  • John Davison Rockefeller III (March 21, 1906 — July 10, 1978)
  • Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller (July 8, 1908 — January 26, 1979)
  • Laurance Spelman Rockefeller (May 26, 1910 — July 11, 2004)
  • Winthrop Aldrich Rockefeller (May 1, 1912 — February 22, 1973)
  • David Rockefeller (born June 12, 1915)

David is now the lone surviving member of John D. Rockefeller Jr.’s children. I sometimes wonder what place his Christian upbringing has in David’s life today. He’s accused of horrible things in the blogosphere. Is he an evil puppeteer? davidrockefellerIs he misunderstood?
At least for this moment, I will say a sincere prayer for David Rockefeller, for the sake of his loving father and grandfather.  ~TD

The Men Who Built America: John D. Rockefeller’s Faith

by Kurt Jaros
In my previous post I introduced you to John D. Rockefeller a prolific businessman who get his start in the oil industry. As I mentioned, Rockefeller was a devotedly religious man and one of America’s greatest philanthropists.
Regarding his Christian faith, Rockefeller would read the Bible daily, attend prayer meetings twice a week and even led his own Bible study with his wife. He tithed, rested on the Sabbath and gave away much of his money to charity. Burton Folsom Jr. has noted, “he sometimes gave tens of thousands of dollars to Christian groups, while, at the same time, he was trying to borrow over a million dollar to expand his business.” Additionally, Rockefeller took time to spend with his family, something that confused many businessmen.
Rockefeller’s philanthropy was extensive. As his own personal fortune grew, so did the amount of money he gave to good causes. By the time he was 45 years old, he had given away $100,000 per year. At 53, he hit $1,000,000 per year, and at 80 he gave away $138,000,000. In total, historians estimate that he gave away $550,000,000 which is more than any other American before him.
His philosophy of giving was founded upon biblical principles. He truly believed in the biblical principle found in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
With Rockefeller’s philanthropy, people were able to build schools, churches and hospitals. He was able to support missionaries and was able to bring the message of Christianity the whole world. His support led to privately funded teams of scientists who found cures for yellow fever, meningitis and hookworm. His giving also led to vast improvements in education for many. He gave tens of millions to the University of Chicago, black schools, Southern schools and Baptist schools. Yet, not all the schools continually received money; improved results were a requirement. This was based upon Rockefeller’s interpretation of the parable of the talents and the Apostle Paul’s writing that, “if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
As he neared the end of his life, Rockefeller learned how to enjoy the small things in life. He learned how to tango, hired a caddy to help with his golf swing and spent more time with his family—especially his grandkids. He would also watch people who passed his house and gave dimes to children telling them to work and to save.
Rockefeller serves as a great example of what it means to be a good steward of what God has given us. He also is a reminder to abide by those seemingly counterintuitive instructions to rest on the Sabbath and to give so that we might have more.

Right now you may be thinking, TD has taken leave of his senses. I don’t blame you. I am fully aware of the organizations David is part of. But the real world is  full of surprises. Things are often not as they seem. And I know how hard a Christian father prays that his children and grandchildren would find their way to heaven.
Now to prove that this is not a one sided puff piece for David Rockefeller I will leave you with a quote from him that I find most troubling:

For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure–one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.[67]

Why I Pray for the Man Who Calls Himself Obama

Why I Pray for the Man Who Calls Himself Obama
I don’t think that I have ever felt so much anger towards a single person as I do towards the man who calls himself Obama. When I think of the blatant destruction that he and his cabal of communist usurpers have brought to this country via illegitimate authority: the economic destitution, the destruction of sacred marriage, the persecution and attacks on conservatives and Christians, the ruined lives, the wrecked marriages, the murder of millions of babies, the deliberate tearing down of racial progress and the proliferation of racist policies and actions, etc., I am at a loss to come up with another person in my lifetime that more personifies the word evil.
Yet, I pray for the man.
Why? Because if there’s anyone who has done more to deliberately chart a course to his own eternal damnation in the fires of hell, it’s him. Yet I know that God loves him.
For the same reason, I pray for Holder, and Hillary, and Reid, and Jarrett, and Biden, and Pelosi, and Boxner, and Feinstein, and all the rest.
They are sowing the seeds of their own damnation. Yet God loves them.
I’ll admit, it’s hard to pray for these people. It takes effort. Yet the more I do it, the easier it becomes.
Perhaps one of them will be saved. Perhaps one of them will see the light and the errors of their ways. On the one hand, I’m not optimistic. On the other hand, I know that all things are possible with God.
