Occutard sues because of pepper spray

Woman sues the city of Portland and two officers

KATU: A college student who got a mouthful of pepper spray during the Occupy Portland protests filed a lawsuit on Friday against the city and two police officers. A picture of Liz Nichols, snapped by an Oregonian photographer during a chaotic anti-bank protest, quickly became an iconic image for the Occupy movement.

Nichols claims she was sprayed in the face with pepper spray while shouting at another officer who hit her in the neck with a night stick. She believes the officers violated her constitutional rights and used excessive force. They had no justification or reason to either hit her or pepper spray her,” one of Nichols’ attorneys, Kenneth A. Kreuscher, said Friday.

“The Portland Police Bureau has a policy of endorsing and supporting police using pepper spray on non-violent, peaceful protesters and demonstrators,” said Benjamin Haile, another attorney for Nichols.

The Portland Police Bureau said it cannot comment on pending lawsuits.

Non-voilent and peaceful protestors?  Take a look for  yourself and decide.  Pepper spray and Liz incident (her screaming and refusing to get off the sidewalk) start around 1:27 mark, toward the left side.

Breitbart’s last film: Occupy Wall St. Unmasked

About the film:

While Liberals in the Democrat Party, Hollywood and the MSM have supported, sympathized and even embraced Occupy Wall Street (OWS) as an organic, non-violent group that represents the working man, the truth is something much more sinister.

Former Leftist radicals, now Conservative patriots, like Brandon Darby, David Horowitz, Pam Keys, Anita MonCrief, Mandy Nagy, Lee Stranahan, go inside OWS camps and rallies and reveal the movement’s vulgar, violent, Marxist real face.

800 freaks in pre-DNC protest

A day before the Democratic National Convention begins in Charlotte, NC, an estimated 800 malcontents turned out for a protest march. The ostensible purpose was to decry corporate greed, but it drew other causes as well.

I spotted the following signs and slogans:

March on Wall Street South

It’s Time to Build People’s Power

Take $$$ Out of Politics

LGBTQ People

Chiquita Banana Funds Terrorism

and chants of “No War! Give Obama Prison Time!”

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qITFtV_jeVE]

Funny, but I’m pretty sure every one of those demonstrators wear and/or use something that was made by those eeeevil corporations.

Occutards, not the brightest folks…

Protester Arrested for Holding ‘You’re Being Robbed’ Sign in Bank

Epoch TimesA Occupy protester in the Pennsylvania town of Easton was arrested and faces attempted bank robbery charges for holding a sign saying “you’re being robbed” during an organized event at a bank.
Dave Gorczynski, 22, held another sign that said, “Give a man a gun, he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank, and he can rob a country,” reported the Express-Times newspaper. He was arrested and charged with attempted robbery, a felony, making terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct.
Mary Catherine Roper, a staff attorney with American Civil Liberties Union in Pennsylvania, told the newspaper that due to the circumstances of the case, the charges might be unwarranted.  “It seems inconceivable to me that holding up these two signs could constitute attempted bank robbery or terroristic threats,” she was quoted as saying and called the charges “overzealous,” though she did not think Gorczynski should have entered the bank.

Who is Colorado mass murderer James Holmes?

Mere hours after news first broke that a gunman had killed 14 and wounded more than 50 people in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, the liberal media already began their all-too-predictable speculations that the shooter must be a right-winger.
Then Aurora police made public the identity of the suspect — James Holmes, a 24-year-old white man whose only brush with the law was a traffic citation for speeding. (Let’s call him “the suspect”.) Quickly and irresponsibly, ABC News’ Brian Ross and George Stephanopoulos proclaimed on Good Morning America that the suspect is a Tea Party member. They made that assertion based solely on a name appearing on a Tea Party website, although even an amateur using standard people search engines quickly would discover that the “James Holmes” the liberal newsmen fingered could not be the suspect because their James Holmes is a 52-year-old Hispanic.
I, too, was searching for James Holmes. I found a few “James Holmes” in Aurora or nearby Denver, CO, but they were all much older than 24; there was no age specified for two. Then when news came that the parental home of the suspect is in San Diego, California, I found a James C. Holmes, age not given, whose residences include Aurora, CO and San Diego, CA. (Remember the middle initial is C!)
With more resources at his disposal, Joel B. Pollak of Breitbart.com found a James Holmes (let’s call him Breitbart’s James Holmes) who seemed to fit whatever little we know about the suspect, being:

  • 25 years old
  • Has links to addresses in both Colorado and San Diego.
  • Was issued a traffic citation in 2011–his sole run-in with the law.
  • Has a California-issued social security number, consistent with what Fox News was reporting.
  • Was registered as a Democrat on June 14, 2011, from an address in La Plata County, Colorado, with an “inactive” status.

But then Pollak discovered some discrepancies with Breitbart’s James Holmes:

  • His social security number is also used by “several” other individuals.
  • There’s a “slight mismatch” between the date-of-birth (DOB) of Breitbart’s James Holmes and what the police say is the DOB of the suspect.

Due to these discrepancies, Pollak concluded that “the suspect may, in fact, not have been registered to vote.”
Despite the media combing through the suspect’s life, we don’t know much more about James Holmes than we did 24 hours ago. I’ve seen TV interviews with his neighbors in Aurora and San Diego; a classmate from his high school; an official at the University of California, Riverside, from which Holmes had graduated with a B.Sc. with honors; and a fellow Neuroscience Ph.D. student at the University of Colorado-Denver, from which Holmes had withdrawn just last month. Everyone of them described Holmes as “quiet” and a loner. Everyone of them expressed disbelief that Holmes could have perpetrated this horrific evil.

This is what private investigator Bill Warner says about James Holmes the suspect:

Name: James Eagan Holmes (note that the middle initial is E, not C!)
DOB: December 13, 1987 (which makes him 24 years old)
Address: 1690 Paris St, Apt 10, Aurora, CO 80010-2918

The “Doo Doo Economics Blog” reports that Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes is a former member of the Occupy San Diego group.

Mike Adams of Natural News makes some good observations and asks disturbing questions about James Holmes:

1. His behavior doesn’t add up: Holmes opened fire on innocent people but then calmly surrendered to police without resistance. This is not consistent with the idea of “killing everyone.” Then he admitted to police that his apartment was booby-trapped with explosives. If you were really an evil-minded Joker trying to kill people (including cops), why would you warn them about the booby trap in advance? It doesn’t add up. After his arrest, Holmes told police about “possible explosives” in his apartment. The police indeed discover the apartment is booby-trapped and evacuated surrounding buildings. None of this checks out. If you’re a killer bent on causing mayhem, why tell the police about your surprise bomb waiting for them back at your apartment?
2. Holmes was equipped to the gills with exotic gear: He wore a gas mask, a ballistic helmet and vest as well as leg, groin and throat protectors during the shooting. A rifle, two handguns, a knife, a bullet proof vest, a ballistic helmet, a gas device, a gas mask, military SWAT clothing and unidentified explosives were found in his car. Police say that his apartment contains sophisticated-looking devices — “something I’ve never seen.” In other words, Holmes was equipped with exotic gear by someone with connections to military equipment. SWAT clothing, explosives, complex booby-traps… This isn’t a “lone gunman.” This is somebody who was selected for a mission, given equipment to carry it out, then somehow brainwashed into getting it done.
3. The killing was carefully planned: This is not your run-of-the-mill crime of passion. It was a carefully planned, heavily funded and technically advanced attack. Who might be behind all this? The FBI, of course, which has a long history of setting up and staging similar attacks, then stopping them right before they happen. [Go to Adams’ article for details.]
4. Holmes has no background: On top of all this, Holmes apparently has no background, other than a traffic ticket for speeding. “He’s not on anybody’s radar screen — nothing,” said a peace officer in a NYT article. “This guy is somewhat of an enigma. Nobody knows anything about him.”

5. Was Holmes involved in mind-altering neuroscience research?: His actions clearly show a strange detachment from reality, indicating he was not in his right mind. That can only typically be accomplished through drugs, hypnosis or trauma (and sometimes all three).
6. How does an unemployed medical student afford $20,000 in weapons gear?: A decent AR-15 rifle costs $1,000 or more all by itself. The shotgun and handgun might run another $800 total. Spare mags, sights, slings, and so on will run you at least another $1,000 across three firearms. The bullet-proof vest is easily another $800, and the cost of the bomb-making gear is anybody’s guess. With all the specialty body gear, ammunition, booby-trap devices and more, I’m guessing this is at least $20,000 in weapons and tactical gear, much of which is very difficult for civilians to get in the first place. The mere manufacture of an explosive booby-trap device is, all by itself, a felony crime. And remember, Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said Holmes’ apartment is booby-trapped with a “sophisticated” maze of flammable devices, which could take hours or days for authorities to disarm.
7. Where does an unemployed, introverted medical school student get the training to deploy sophisticated booby traps, tactical body armor, weapons systems and more? Certainly not in graduate school!

Mike Adams concludes:

“All this leads to an obvious third party influence over all this. Someone else taught this guy these skills and funded the acquisition of the equipment. Staged just in time for a vote on the UN small arms treaty?
More and more, this shooting is looking like a deliberate plot staged by the government itself much like Operation Fast and Furious pulled off by the ATF … which helped smuggle tens of thousands of guns into Mexico for the purpose of causing “gun violence” in the USA, then blaming the Second Amendment for it.
All this looks like James Holmes completed a “mission” and then calmly ended that mission by surrendering to police and admitting everything. The mission, as we are now learning, was to cause as much terror and mayhem as possible, then to have that multiplied by the national media at exactly the right time leading up the UN vote next week on a global small arms treaty that could result in gun confiscation across America.”

Who is Mohammad Alam?

Lastly, as if we need more mystery about James Holmes, here’s a doozie:
Yesterday, I woke up around 3 a.m. to the TV news of the Colorado shooting. I immediately began searching for news on the net, but found very little. Even Drudge Report had not yet posted links to the massacre.
In my search, I found a video on YouTube that has since been removed “by the user”:
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8t6mSSI3vxM&feature=player_embedded]
The video was of a screen shot of KUSA-TV Channel 9 News in Colorado which initially reported the name and nationality of the shooter as Iranian born Mohammad Alam. The following entry was reportedly copied and pasted from the News 9 website early yesterday morning, which is now no longer on the Channel 9’s website. It is undetermined if this was a hoax or an erroneous report by News 9:
“AURORA – There is one suspect in custody after 14 people were shot and killed at the Century 16 Movie Theaters at the Aurora Town Center. There were at least 50 people injured to Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates. Oates says 10 died at the theater and four died at the area hospital. Nicole Williams, with Swedish Medical Center, says the hospital was alerted to a mass casualty incident at 1:15 a.m. Friday. Williams says the hospital was told to prepare for at least 20 patients. According to witnesses, the shooter kicked in the emergency exit door in theater 9, threw some sort of disorienting smoke bombs and started shooting. The captured shooter has been identified as Mohammad Alam, an Iranian immigrant. The identity of the other shooter is still unknown, Oates states. (KUSA-TV © 2012 Multimedia Holdings Corporation)”
Note that all the other details in the above report are correct, except for the name of the shooter.
I did a people search and found a Mohammed Alam, age 38, who lives in Aurora, Colorado.
Let the conspiracy theories begin!

Wayne Madsen: Democrats may dump Obama

Wayne Madsen is an independent investigative reporter who was/is based in D.C.
In his for-subscribers-only post of June 15-17, 2012 (which somebody put online in pdf format), Madsen writes that all is not well for Obama within the Democratic Party.
Not only is Obama “facing a major revolt from organized labor over the decision to hold the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina” because the unions are unhappy that the convention is being held in the Bank of America stadium, which is a notorious anti-union, right-to-work employer.
Madsen also claims that there are rumors of a “dump Obama” campaign launched before the convention. Former President Bill Clinton is reportedly offering up his wife, Hillary Clinton, as a possible candidate to forestall the possibility of a Mitt Romney win and a rout for the Democrats in November.
Already, unions have withdrawn their “financial support” for Obama’s renomination convention. There is also the probability that union members will be joining Occupy protesters in demonstrating in Charlotte during the convention, something that would have been unheard of at past Democratic conventions. Wisconsin and national union leaders are still miffed at Obama for failing to campaign for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in his race to unseat the anti-union Governor Scott Walker in the recent recall election. The unions blame Obama in part for Walker handily defeating Barrett.
If Madsen’s report is true, then we should expect more unrest from within the Democratic Party as we get closer to the Democratic National Convention! 😀

Commie traitor comes from "a long line of sad people"

Traitor

Jane Fonda, ‘Peace, Love and Misunderstanding’ Star, On The Occupy Movement

Commie traitor Hanoi Jane has a new movie coming out.  So of course, she’s giving presses spewing her opinion.  Here’s an excerpt from HuffingtonPuffington’s interview with woman.
HuffPo:  In “Peace Love and Misunderstanding” (out in limited release now), Fonda plays Grace, the spirited-yet-estranged mother of the newly single Diane (Catherine Keener) and grandmother to Zoe (Elizebeth Olsen) and Jake (Nat Wolff). In the film, Fonda’s character plays a war protester, which — considering Fonda’s outspoken traitor history — led us into some interesting conversations about her political past and her thoughts on current protest, namely the Occupy movement.
You look like you’re having the time of your life in this movie. I was. I had a very good time, yes.
Is that why you chose it? I’d never played a character like her. Contrary to what some people think, I’m not like her. I never was a hippie. Also, I have a daughter and grandchildren and the idea that I would have been deprived of seeing my daughter for 20 years and never meet my grandchildren moved me very much. And, you know, forgiveness is a big theme in my life and so I wanted to make a movie about it.
Your character is a war protester. Could you have played this character in the late ’70s or early ’80s? Well, I wasn’t old enough [laughs].
True. The age of the character aside, though. Aside from whether I would have been old enough? I think, probably back in the ’70s, it would have been a little bit too … you know, I never was that kind of a war protester. I was more of an organizer; it was a little bit more serious. And I wasn’t known for my sense of humor in those days. I probably would have thought it was a little too light and frivolous, vis-à-vis the war — when the war was going on. But, now, it’s a very different time. And I’m different.
Why has your sense of humor changed? Because I spent ten years with Ted Turner. He taught me how to laugh [laughs]. It’s true.
You really think that you didn’t know how to laugh before meeting him? Not really, no. I come from a long line of a lot of sad people.

Wonderful

Again, your character is a war protester. What’s your opinion of the Occupy movement? Right on! I say right on! It’s an important, wonderful movement. It doesn’t fit the mold.
Is that what you like about it? That it doesn’t fit the mold? I think that’s what allows it to be successful in its own way. Because it has no leader; it has no set of rules. But, the values are good and it makes a difference. And I say right on.
Your point about not having a leader is interesting. It limits the range if there’s a leader. This can occupy a big space on a lot of different areas, but the core value is, “What about democracy?” It’s about democracy and against greed.
For so many reasons. It was the first time I learned how important movies can be. They really do affect people’s lives.
Against greed?  This coming from a woman who has an estimated net worth of $120 million and her former husband Ted Turner who has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion.  Nothing greedy about that I guess, even though Rosanne Barr would like to behead both of them.
Forgiveness is a big theme in her life?  Of course it is, especially when it comes to selling books being greedy.  We need to forgive her for “That two-minute lapse of sanity will haunt me until the day I die.” Explain away all you want you American traitor.
You come from a long line of a lot of sad people?  I come from a long line of family members who fought and served in the military, including a father who served in Vietnam and Korea. I learned from him how important service to your country can be.  Those who fight/fought to protect and serve this great nation really do affect people’s lives.

The Tax System Explained in Beer

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this…
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing The fifth would pay $1 The sixth would pay $3 The seventh would pay $7 The eighth would pay $12 The ninth would pay $18 The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that’s what they decided to do.
The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball. “Since you are all such good customers,” he said, “I’m going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20″. Drinks for the ten men would now cost just $80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?
They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody’s share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man’s bill by a h higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.
And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% saving). The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% saving). The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% saving). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% saving). The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% saving). The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% saving).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings.
“I only got a dollar out of the $20 saving,” declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,”but he got $10!”
“Yeah, that’s right,” exclaimed the fifth man. “I only saved a dollar too. It’s unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!” “That’s true!” shouted the seventh man. “Why should he get $10 back, when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!”
“Wait a minute,” yelled the first four men in unison, “we didn’t get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!”
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.
The next night the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!
And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works. The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.
Oh, now I get it. 🙁

OWS doesn't speak for this hard-working family

FOTM’s beloved Miranda was watching the news on TV one evening.
The local station had something about an Occupy Wall Street group in Amarillo, Texas.
Miranda got so livid that she wrote this Letter to the Editor of her local paper. She just wants people to know that the Occupy movement neither represents nor speaks for all young people in America.
Here is her letter.
~Eowyn

I am a 29-year-old stay-at-home mom.
I live in a two-bedroom home, drive a used vehicle, and my husband works for someone else. My husband and I have a mortgage, car payments and our share of unpaid debts. So you can say I am definitely part of the American middle class.
As parents of small children, my husband and I have had to change some things because we were determined we weren’t going to be the type of role models for our children which sadly are too common in our society — the kind of parental “role model” of “Do as I say, not as I do.”
Because of this decision, I just cannot understand how it is that only the 1% are to be blamed for the mess America’s economy is in. That is what the Occupy movement says.
Yes, the government had a hand in it, as well as Big Business, but to keep blaming only them is wrong. How do we as parents teach our children to stand up and take responsibility for their actions when we won’t stand up and take some of the responsibility for our own? How do we teach our children to be disciplined by studying for a test or training for a sporting event, when we — the 99% — had a hand in our country’s economic crisis, like the implosion of the housing market, because we had taken on a mortgage or purchased things we couldn’t afford?
My husband and I are feeling the hit just like everyone else. But we will not engage in finger-pointing and scapegoating. Whatever our family’s debts, we and we alone are responsible for it.
To get our family out of debt, it may mean my husband, who is already working on weekends, will have to take on a second job. We will give up luxuries we don’t need and I will have to find a way to stretch a dollar even further.
But at least I know my children will learn honesty and responsibility and thus, will be better because of it.
~Miranda
