“Republican” mayor calls for his city to ban assault weapons because “my prayers aren’t working”

RINO George Cretekos

Mayor of Clearwater, Florida – George Cretekos – ain’t no republican, despite what this story states.

The proof? Just look at his Twitter timeline and some of his tweets and who he retweets:

Retweet of Paul Krugman: “I was warning about escalation, but things moving faster than I expected”

Retweet of Garry Kasparo (who promotes Renew Democracy in his Twitter bio): “As in Helsinki, Trump’s demeanor around Putin is that of a loyal dog afraid of being whipped. Joking with a dictator about his proven attacks on US elections is pathetic”

Retweet of Bill Kristol: “Excellent from @DavidAFrench at @NRO: “’Where is the outrage?’ The same question applies today, but to a different audience. The lies are simply too much to bear. No Republican should tolerate such dishonesty.” (Regarding Mueller report)

Retweet of Politico: “Opinion: Trump’s national emergency is great news for future President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Cretekos a republican? Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

From Yahoo: The Republican mayor of a Florida city is calling on Congress to take action on strong gun control measures, saying that thoughts and prayers just aren’t cutting it when it comes to America’s gun violence epidemic.

George Cretekos urged his fellow city council members in Clearwater to pass a resolution which would represent a potent message in a state known for its fidelity to the National Rifle Association.

“I’ve gone to church, I’ve prayed,” Mr. Cretekos said this week, referencing a common refrain after mass shootings in which politicians offer “thoughts and prayers” for victims, but stop short of taking any practical measures to prevent future shootings.

“My prayers aren’t working,” he continued, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Florida state law prohibits cities from enacting their own firearms regulations, but Mr. Cretekos’s resolution would send a symbolic message to Congress that it should move to ban assault-style weapons and high capacity magazines, to pass a national “red flag” law, and to expand background checks so they can cover private sales.

“In the past, council and I have stayed away from national issues,” Mr. Cretenkos said. “But I think this issue is something that we need to consider to let people know where we stand as a community to encourage safety.”

Florida is the state in which two of the most deadly mass shootings in recent years have occurred, having drawn national attention after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, and at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

Seventeen people were killed in Parkland by an expelled former student in February 2018, while 49 people were killed and more than 50 wounded at the Pulse nightclub in June 2016.

Mr. Cretenkos’s call for action is significant not only because of the state he lives in, though, but also because of his standing as a Republican.

In the past, Republican leaders and politicians in Washington including Donald Trump have reacted to shootings by proposing modest gun control measures, but have yet to make good on those promises.

The good mayor’s call for an assault weapons ban was shot down:

“The City Council on Thursday approved a resolution that called on Congress to pass modest gun control measures, but failed to go as far as Mayor George Cretekos had proposed earlier in the week.

In a compromise, the five-person council, which includes Cretekos, voted 3-2 to pass a resolution calling for the red flag law expansion and the stricter background checks. But the resolution was softer on the weapons and magazines. Instead of calling for a ban, it called for a “review of laws governing the accessibility of high-capacity ammunition magazines and military-style assault weapons.”

2020 Democrat candidate Beto O’Rourke fantasized about killing little children with his car

Beto O’Rourke, 46, former El Paso mayor, former Congressman for Texas, and a 2020 Democrat presidential candidate, is an advocate for gun control, never mind the fact that in 2008, the Supreme Court had ruled that the Constitution’s Second Amendment applies to individuals, not militias, and may include military weapons.

On his campaign website called, without a trace of irony, Beto for America, O’Rourke lays out his position on gun control, vowing that when elected President, he will:

  1. End the influence of the National Rifle Association (NRA) by signing into law the No PAC Act, which he had introduced as a member of Congress, which would ban PAC contributions to members of Congress or those seeking federal office.”
  2. Create a nationwide gun licensing system and registry.
  3. Require universal background checks at point of purchase.
  4. Ban all “assault weapons,” trigger cranks, silencers, bump stocks, and high-capacity magazines.
  5. Implement a national buyback program for banned assault weapons and handguns.
  6. Make it harder for people to stockpile weapons by limiting individuals to one gun purchase per month and directing ATF to deem any individual or business that sells over five guns in a single year a gun “dealer” subject to background check requirements.
  7. Implement extreme risk protection orders, also known as Red Flag laws.
  8. Declare gun violence a public health emergency.
  9. Make gun trafficking a federal crime.
  10. Repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act which shields firearm manufacturers and dealers from liability when their products are used to commit crimes.

For all his posturing and virtue-signaling on gun violence, it turns out that Beto O’Rourke once wrote a murder-fantasy short story about serial-killing children with his car.

According to a March 15, 2019 Reuters report by Joseph Menn, not only had O’Rourke been arrested for drunk driving, from age 15 to 19, Beto O’Rourke was a member of Cult of the Dead Cow, the oldest group of computer hackers in the U.S. credited with inventing the term “hacktivism” and wrote stories under the name “Psychedelic Warlord” — writings that remain online.

In a 1988 essay titled “Visions from the Last Crusade,” O’Rourke described his fantasy of killing 38 children with a car. He wrote:

The catacombs of my head produce the most wonderful dreams and visions. I feel that I am one with my intellect and my soul. It was during these dreams and visions that I concocted a notion. It started as something small at first, but after every dream it grew stronger, until the urge had become too great. No longer could this strong desire in my mind be suppressed. Recognizing this fact, my one and only goal in life became the termination of everything that was free and loving….

This feeling pervaded everything in my life, yet the first few months after realizing my goal, I had done nothing. Then one day, as I was driving home from work, I noticed two children crossing the street. They were happy, happy to be free from their troubles. I knew, however, that this happiness and sense of  freedom were much too overwhelming for them. This happiness was mine by right. I had earned it in my dreams. As I neared the young ones, I put all my weight on my right foot, keeping the accelerator pedal on the floor until I heard the crashing of the two children on the hood, and then the sharp cry of pain from one of the two. I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head….

It was simply ecstasy. As I drove home, I envisioned myself committing more of these “acts of love”, and after a while, I had no trouble carrying them out.

The more people I killed, the longer my dreams were. I soon quit my job, and stayed at my house in an almost comatose state. My dreams grew longer and more vivid. They kept me alive and proved to be the only thing to live for. I had killed nearly 38 people by the time of my twenty-third birthday, and each one was more fulfilling than the last.

NASCAR turns to the Left; rejects gun ads

The public perception of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) has always been that NASCAR is all-American, pro-Second Amendment, and in sync with red-state values.

No more.

Stephen Gutowski reports for The Washington Free Beacon, August 30, 2019, that two gun companies said NASCAR rejected their gun ads because of the racing company’s “gradual shift on guns”. Both gun companies said a NASCAR advertising agency had solicited ads from them for NASCAR publications, but when they submitted ads, they were told NASCAR would not accept them.

The two gun companies are:

(1) Dark Storm Industries:

Dark Storm said an ad it submitted featuring one of the company’s AR-15s was rejected. Dark Storm wrote in an Instagram post:

“NASCAR decided to turn their back on their customer base, joining the likes of Yeti, Dick’s and Under Armour. We were approached by a NASCAR publication eager to earn our business, but after submitting our ad it was immediately rejected, stating that we cannot depict ‘assault weapons’. As we have learned, NASCAR has made a ‘gradual shift’ but this doesn’t seem very gradual to us. It seems as though NASCAR has turned their back on the overwhelming majority of their fan base in the most embarrassing way possible.”

(2) Online retailer K-Var Corp:

K-Var said NASCAR rejected an ad featuring an AK-47 and 9mm handgun. An April email exchange between K-Var and National Event Publications, which books ads for NASCAR publications, obtained by the Washington Free Beacon shows the ad booker working with the gun dealer on final details of an ad for the souvenir program sold during the Race for the Cup series. Dave Dolbee, general manager of K-Var, said the company thought the ad would be good for brand awareness since the NASCAR audience is considered to be very gun-friendly and notable gun companies had previously advertised in the program. However, the ad company emailed Dolbee in August to say NASCAR rejected K-Var’s ad because of the firearms included in it. Sunny Berlin, art director for National Event Publications, told Dolbee in an email:

“We just heard back from NASCAR on a number of gun related ads and unfortunately due to a gradual shift in their position on guns, these ads must be edited/changed– especially those that are depicted as assault style rifles/sniper rifles. They are still open to some ads featuring some of the less controversial gun accessories, concealed carry, or classes. Can you supply a new ad that would fit more along these guidelines? NASCAR will then review again.”

Dolbee said:

  • K-Var was unable to get any clarification from NASCAR on what it considered an “assault style rifle” or “sniper rifle” or other details of their “gradual shift” on guns.
  • National Event Publications were “cagey about it when they gave me that 24-hour deadline to resubmit an ad.”
  • NASCAR had not even been clear with National Event Publications and did not provide “clear enough guidelines to say ‘it was exactly this in your ad or it was exactly that in your ad.'”

Dolbee told the Free Beacon K-Var refused to submit another ad:

“Naturally we took the position ‘absolutely not’. You can’t do ‘this gun’s good, that gun’s bad.’ You know? I said we wouldn’t deal with them at all if that was going to be the case. We could never go forward with that type of a policy.

It’s just bad for business. I’m somebody who grew up on NASCAR. My father was a huge fan. So, he of course brought me into the sport as a fan. And you see something with that type of a legacy and heritage, instead of being a sporting organization, try and play politics.”

Neither National Event Publications nor NASCAR responded to requests for comment on the policy change.

Backlash to NASCAR’s ban on gun ads was swift:

  • A headline at Outdoor Hub said: “Turning Left: NASCAR Bans Firearm Ads, Cites ‘Gradual Shift’ on Guns.”
  • All Outdoor said: “NASCAR Goes Anti-Gun, Bans Black Rifle Ads”.
  • Radio show host and lifelong NASCAR fan Mark Walters said in a piece for Ammoland that the shift in gun ad policy tells him the racing association is “no longer the NASCAR I thought I knew. Go ahead NASCAR, try to fill the stands with a bunch of David Hogg, Moms Demand Action, Everytown for Gun Safety, urban, progressive, skinny jean wearing, soy sipping, man-bun wearing, Antifa loving, gun-hating socialists. I won’t be around to see how that turns out for you.”

Joe Biden’s teeth almost fall out during debate

During last Thursday’s demorat debate, it appears Biden was having some problems with his upper dentures.

Between Joe’s bloody eye, his multiple gaffes, and his groping women and children, you gotta wonder what the appeal is for him to be in the lead in most polls. He’s a trainwreck!

Hypocrite: Pro-gun control Hollyweirdo Alyssa Milano owns 2 guns for self-defense

Aging actress Alyssa Milano in a cleavage-bearing low-cut blouse at SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s Senate hearing October 2018

Has-been actress Alyssa Milano, 46, is a rabid gun-control activist.

As an example, on May 5, 2018, Milano led a protest against Vice President Mike Pence at the NRA’s 2018 convention in Dallas, Texas, despite the fact that both Pence and the NRA are renowned defenders of the right to own guns for self-defense.

Milano’s protest is the height of hypocrisy because she herself owns two guns for self-defense. In other words, she should lead a protest against herself.

Breitbart reports that during a debate with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Tuesday evening, Sept. 10, 2019, Milano and Fred Guttenberg — whose 14-year-old daughter Jaime was killed in the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School mass shooting in Parkland, Florida — pressed Cruz on various gun control proposals.

Milano proposed universal background checks, restricting access to AR-15s, and background checks for bullet purchases, while insisting, “We all believe in the Second Amendment.”

Around 13 minutes into the discussion, Guttenberg said he was offended by Cruz’s argument that these gun controls would erode Americans’ rights to self-defense, saying: “That’s a load of BS. Nobody’s trying to remove your right to self-defense.”

Milano interjected: “By the way, I have two guns in my household for self-defense, just so you know.”

Hypocrite!

More big retailers ask customers not to openly carry in their stores

I never open carry because I don’t like to advertise the fact that I have a firearm. Yet I get why some people do open carry. It’s just not for me.

I prefer concealment because if should I ever need to use my firearm, I would prefer the element of surprise.

Yet for those who do prefer to open carry, the right of others’ feelings uncomfortable at the sight of a gun takes precedence over one’s right to self defense.

From HuffPo: More large retail companies are asking that customers no longer openly carry guns in their stores following last month’s deadly mass shooting in a Texas Walmart.

Walgreens, Wegmans and CVS are the latest nationwide retail chains to make the request after Walmart on Wednesday ― and Kroger soon after ― asked customers not to do so, even in so-called open carry states that allow the practice. Walmart’s request came with an announcement that the nation’s largest retailer would stop selling handgun ammunition and “short-barrel rifle ammunition.”

Walmart’s decision came on the heels of a mass shooting inside an El Paso, Texas, store in early August that left 22 people dead. That same week, an employee who had been suspended shot and killed two co-workers in a Mississippi Walmart where he worked.

“As a company, we experienced two horrific events in one week, and we will never be the same,” Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said in a memo to employees on Tuesday.

The week after the El Paso shooting, police arrested an armed man who caused chaos when he walked into a Walmart in Springfield, Missouri, while wearing body armor and military-style clothing. The same week, a man calling himself an “anti-gun activist” was questioned by police after he asked a clerk in a Florida Walmart for a gun that would “kill 200 people.”

Hours after Walmart’s announcement, Kroger, the nation’s largest grocery chain, followed with its own request asking customers not to openly carry.

“Kroger has demonstrated with our actions that we recognize the growing chorus of Americans who are no longer comfortable with the status quo and who are advocating for concrete and common sense gun reforms,” Kroger said in a statement.

On Thursday, Walgreens, CVS and Wegmans made similar requests.

Walmart said the policy would not be enforced, but that management is instructed to contact law enforcement if they feel threatened.

“It’s a respectful request,” Walmart spokesperson Ragan Dickens told HuffPost. “And if they do not listen to the request, we’ve asked management to evaluate each situation. If an individual is a potential threat, the manager on duty can contact law enforcement.”

It’s not clear how other stores will enforce the new policies, but Kris Brown of advocacy group Brady United told CNN that the move by Walmart is “telling the NRA that logic does not support what they’ve been saying — this ‘good guy with a gun’ idea is patently false.”

HuffPost has reached out to all of the retailers for comment on how they plan to enforce the policies, if at all.

——————————–

Check out some of the ignorant comments from this HuffPo article:

“What will all them “Patriots” do when they can’t wear their “Strap-ons” in public? How will they attract a mate?

“In 1981 I visited Moscow. The first thing that really struck me were the soldiers at the airport, all heavily armed. That was the case throughout the city and was the one thing I could not get used to seeing. I would feel the same way going into a store here and seeing fellow shoppers that were heavily armed. I always assume that a person carrying a gun is a person ready to use a gun. How am I supposed to discern what that person’s motives are?

Those folks carrying guns are the scared ones, and many are angry or crazy. And yet when guns are used in stores, not one good guy comes to anyone’s assistance. So why have them? To make the scaredy cats feel like a big man. Take their guns and they’re wimps.

just leave your P-nus enhancer at home.

“Anyone who needs to swagger around wearing a holster when they’re buying eggs or socks probably isn’t someone who should be armed in the first place. We don’t need Dirty Harry wannabes hoping they get to be heroes.”

“Regardless of the arguments for or against open carry, it is important to remember the children. American children are aware of these mass shootings and have been traumatized by them. There is a fear of going shopping, a fear of going to school and a fear of going to the synagogue. Imagine the fear a child may experience on seeing some strange man carrying a gun in one of these stores. It is a self-centred and unfeeling for those phallic challenged men to want to go shopping with a gun.”

“Just a thought. If you should stumble into my universe, ie. I see you, I think I would point at you, in public and start laughing. I would giggle so hard, asking you if you are ready to shoot somebody here? Show me your ID and proof you can carry that gun.

Here’s my proof that I can carry:

The comments on this story appear to me that many of these people 1) Have never been around firearms, shot a gun nor have friends who prefer to open carry, 2) Do not understand that criminals do not open carry, 3) Do not live in rural areas, and 4) Have a major infatuation with inanimate objects of which they do not understand.

I believe that what most of these anti-gun advocates really don’t understand is that the LAST thing us law-abiding citizens want to do is actually take a human life with our firearm.

In any proper firearm training you learn one of the basic four rules: Be sure of your target and what is in front of it and behind it.

It was reiterated to me during my training – many, many times – that if you are going to fire you need to be prepared to accept the consequence of your action and understand that you may take a human life. You CANNOT take back that bullet. That is YOUR responsibility and if you choose to fire, the decision will live with you the rest of your life.

To assume that those who open carry do so to “make them feel like a big man” (or woman), that they are “wimps,” or that they want to be “heroes” means you really don’t understand our desire for self preservation.

If you’re worried about being the victim of a mass shooting because someone open carries a gun, you really should check your fears: Actual mass shootings remain a statistical rarity and much-exaggerated threat.

A study commissioned by Obama in 2013 determined that “violent crimes, including homicides specifically, have declined in the past five years.” It also pointed out that “some firearm violence results in death, but most does not.” In fact, the CDC report said, most incidents involving the discharge of firearms do not result in a fatality.

So while gun-grabbers celebrate the fact that “wimps” are no longer allowed to open carry in several retail chains, they will feeeeeeeeeeeeeeel safer. Until the next criminal decides not to follow the law.

San Francisco Board of Supervisors declares NRA a “domestic terrorism organization”

Picture from YAF

So now liberals are labeling groups of people “domestic terrorists” because they don’t agree with our politics. Remember, these are the same people who tell us that red flags laws won’t be abused.

The left will stop at nothing to take away our Second Amendment and due process rights.

From Yahoo: The San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a resolution on Tuesday declaring the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorism organization” due to its opposition to more stringent gun-control legislation.

The resolution accuses the NRA of not only resisting legislative reforms that its drafters believe would help curtail the country’s “epidemic of gun violence,” but also of “incit[ing] gun owners to acts of violence.”

“All countries have violent and hateful people, but only in America do we give them ready access to assault weapons and large-capacity magazines thanks, in large part, to the National Rifle Association’s influence,” the resolution says.

The resolution also declares the Board’s intent to “limit those entities who do business with the City and County of San Francisco from doing business with this domestic terrorist organization.” It was drafted following a shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival last month that resulted in the deaths of three people, according to local Fox affiliate KTVU. (Just disregard the fact that the shooter’s gun was ILLEGAL to use in California; hence HE BROKE THE LAW.)

The NRA responded to the provocation by accusing the Board of seeking to distract from the city’s shortcomings.

“This ludicrous stunt by the Board of Supervisors is an effort to distract from the real problems facing San Francisco, such as rampant homelessness, drug abuse and skyrocketing petty crime, to name a few,” the statement said, according to KTVU. “The NRA will continue working to protect the constitutional rights of all freedom-loving Americans.”

The partisan battle over gun control has escalated in recent weeks due to mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, Dayton, Ohio and, most recently, Odessa and Midland, Texas.

Congressional Democrats and their colleagues seeking the presidency continue to demand universal-background-check legislation. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, meanwhile, remains hesitant to endorse any specific legislation but said Tuesday that he would be eager to support any reforms backed by the White House.

———————————

Over at the SF Gate there are plenty of comments regarding the Board’s action. Seems many people are calling for the bureaucrats to worry about cleaning up their own sh*thole of a city before they start their virtue signaling. Some of the comments:

The city is turning into a dump and this is where the city leaders pour their time, effort and attention: Nothingburger proclamations and worthless virtue signaling of the highest order.”

“Oh geez louise. Do something that means something you morons. I am no friend of the NRA but this is useless.”

Unbelievable that these blowhards are wasting my taxpayer dollars on stupid measures. Are you now going to arrest card-carrying NRA Members in SF?”

“Every time I think this city has reached a nadir of stupidity, the Board of Supervisors proves me wrong…”

“How do members of the Board of Supervisors have time for a national campaign against the NRA, when just a few blocks from City Hall there are plenty of people with guns who never passed a background check. Take a look at @SFPDTenderloin tweets to see photos of people who are much more dangerous than the NRA. The Board of Supervisors should focus on doing their jobs and getting the guns and drugs out of San Francisco neighborhoods.

“The Board of Supervisors is itself a terrorist group for doing absolutely nothing and turning this city into a pigsty stinking capital of the world. They should be ashamed of themselves for stealing tax payer money by disguising as a salary. Oh BTW, they just gave themselves a raise next year.”

Walmart to ban open carry, stop selling handgun ammo & wants more gun control

A criminal intent on committing a shooting doesn’t need to buy ammunition at Walmart. A criminal doesn’t typically open carry.

When this doesn’t prevent the next mass shooting, what next? We all know the answer to that, of course.

From Yahoo: Walmart said Tuesday it would discontinue the sale of handgun ammunition.

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer also said it would ban shoppers from openly carrying firearms in its stores, even in states that allow doing so.

The announcements come in the wake of three mass shootings in the last month, including one that took place at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas. Prior to the El Paso shooting, which left 22 people dead, a Walmart employee who had been suspended shot and killed two co-workers in the Mississippi store where he worked on July 30.

“As a company, we experienced two horrific events in one week, and we will never be the same,” Walmart’s CEO Doug McMillon said in a memo to employees on Tuesday.

Walmart said it would stop selling short-barrel rifle ammunition, including the .223 caliber and 5.56 caliber sometimes used in high-capacity magazines on assault-style weapons. The company also said it would discontinue handgun sales in Alaska, the only remaining state where Walmart sells handguns.

“We know these decisions will inconvenience some of our customers, and we hope they will understand,” McMillon said.

The CEO noted that the changes will allow Walmart to focus solely on hunting rifles and related ammunition. “We have a long heritage as a company of serving responsible hunters and sportsmen and women, and we’re going to continue doing so,” McMillon said.

The changes will also reduce Walmart’s market share of ammunition from roughly 20% to a range of about 6% to 9%, the memo said.

Walmart has steadily tightened its policies surrounding ammunition sales in recent years, including ceasing to sell assault-style rifles in 2015. The company last year raised the minimum age to purchase guns and ammunition at its stores to 21 after a former student killed 17 people at a high school in Parkland, Florida.

After the El Paso shooting, Walmart told employees to take down any video game signs and displays depicting violence. Critics demanded more from the retailer, though, including that it stop contributing to the campaigns of politicians backed by the National Rifle Association.

McMillon didn’t mention the NRA in his memo but said he was sending letters to the White House and members of Congress calling on them to take action on gun violence.

“We encourage our nation’s leaders to move forward and strengthen background checks and to remove weapons from those who have been determined to pose an imminent danger,” McMillon said. “We do not sell military-style rifles, and we believe the reauthorization of the Assault Weapons ban should be debated to determine its effectiveness. We must also do more, as a country, to understand the root causes that lead to this type of violent behavior.”

———————————

Read Walmart’s full statement here.

We all know this action will do nothing to stops criminals from doing their thing. But true to progressive form, their feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings are what truly matter.

Check out some of the Twitter responses to this action:

“Thank you for taking steps, reguarding open carry in your stores and sales, to make a difference in both our feelings of safety inside a Walmart location AND within our country!!!”

“Thank you for changing your gun policy and protecting my family. You’ll have my business going foward.”

“I haven’t shopped at Wal-Mart in years. My family and I will now shop there to support your commitment to doing what’s right. Please push hard against legislators to get better from them. Your business and the public have suffered horrific violence bc of the NRA and its puppets.”

“Thank you for the new gun policy. I feel safer in your stores.”

“Wow. @WalmartInc thank you for taking these common sense steps to make us all feel safer. I come from a family that hunts. I raise & train hunting retrievers. I agree with everything you are doing & will proudly (& safely) shop at your stores. Thank you for putting people first.”

“Thank you Walmart! Help keep our communities safe. Rifles and ammunition don’t belong in supermarkets.” (Oh, make sure to tell that to the criminals.)

“Thank you, Walmart. Boycotting you was hard as hell, since you’re the only game in town. I’ll happily shop with you again, and, honestly, will feel safer in your stores.”

“Wow I’m going to shop at your store at least I’ll feel safe.”

Thanks for nothing Walmart. I live in a small town with three Walmart grocery stores. The only other decent grocery chain is much more expensive. Guess I’ll be shopping there from now on.

The left will never learn this simple fact: You can never create enough rules/laws to control EVIL. Evil does not follow the rules/laws.

Why aren’t the shootings in Chiraq part of the gun control narrative?

It’s almost as if the libtards don’t want a solution – any solution – to criminal gun incidents. Heck, they don’t even want a conversation with actual gun owners.

Of course we know what their ultimate solution is: Take away your guns.

Hypocrite actress Piper Perabo

Actress Piper Perabo is best known for the 2000 movie, “Coyote Ugly.”

I had to look her up, too.

She’s a libtard who promotes all things progressive on her Twitter timeline. She also advocates against gun violence and is trying to pressure WalMart to stop selling guns.

From her August 14 tweet:

“.@Walmart please stop selling guns. As the largest gun retailer in the world, you could instantly change the standard for gun ownership in America. Join us in calling on Walmart to take actions Learn more at walmartmustact.org”

She also retweeted the following tweets:

Help push Walmart to STOP selling firearms and donating to NRA-backed politicians. Go to http://WalmartMustAct.org and print out a letter to deliver to a local Walmart in your area.”

“Wondering how many more people need to die before @Walmart stops selling guns.”

“Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney: “Our officers need help. They need help. They need help with gun control. They need help with keeping these weapons out of these people’s hands … This government … don’t want to do anything about getting these guns off the streets.”

But whatdoyaknow….her latest movie, “Angel Has Fallen,” is full of men brandishing those dastardly guns. Her Twitter background is a promo for the movie.
