Good Friday: Remembering His Passion and Sacrificial Love

Good Friday, April 19, 2019.

Though strong as an ox, my erstwhile friend, the faux socialist Stephanie, is allergic to work. She would take a temporary job and, when it ends, apply for unemployment benefits. When the benefits run out, she’ll go find another temp job. And so on . . . .

Though raised a Christian, Stephanie is a goddess cultist, wiccan witch, and rabidly anti-Christian. Once, in a fit of self-pity, the perfectly healthy Stephanie blurted to me: “Don’t tell me how Jesus had suffered. I’ve suffered more than Jesus!”
This post on our Lord’s passion and sacrificial love is for Stephanie, the “artist” Michael D’Antuono who, in 2009, painted a blasphemous portrait of Obama as crucified christ, and all malignant narcissists who cheapen His memory by having the boundless arrogance and gall to compare themselves to Him.

The account below is difficult for us to read.

You will weep, if you have a heart.

Imagine how many hundred times difficult it was for our Lord, who endured all of it.

He sweated blood.

After He and his disciples had observed the Passover meal in an upper room in a home in southwest Jerusalem, they traveled to the Mount of Olives, northeast of the city.
There, in the garden of Gethsemane, for 12 hours (from 9 PM Thursday to 9 AM Friday), He prayed. He saw all the sins of humanity — past, present, and future. The cumulative effect of what He saw was so horrific that He sweated bloodhematidrosis, or hemorrhage into the sweat glands. His skin became fragile and tender from the hematidrosis, and He felt chilled in the night air.

Then the Roman soldiers came to arrest Him and took Him away — He who had committed no crime and no wrong, but instead had fed the hungry, healed the sick and blind, and even raised the dead.

He was scourged at least 39 times.

Scourging or flogging was a legal preliminary to every Roman execution. The usual instrument was a short whip (flagellum) with several single or braided leather thongs of variable lengths, in which small iron balls or sharp pieces of sheep bones were tied at intervals. Occasionally, staves also were used.

He was stripped of his clothing, His hands tied to an upright post. His back, buttocks, and legs were flogged either by two soldiers or by one who alternated positions. The scourging was intended to weaken Him to a state just short of collapse or death.

As the Roman soldiers repeatedly struck His back with full force, the iron balls caused deep contusions, and the leather thongs and sheep bones cut into His skin and subcutaneous tissues. Then, as the flogging continued, the lacerations tore into His underlying skeletal muscles and produced quivering ribbons of bleeding flesh. Pain and blood loss set the stage for circulatory shock.

His scalp was pierced with thorns.

The Roman soldiers, amused that this weakened man had been acclaimed a king just days ago when He entered Jerusalem on a donkey, mocked Him by placing a robe on his shoulders, a crown of thorns on His head, and a wooden staff as a scepter in His right hand. Next, they spat on Him and struck Him on the head with the wooden staff.

The crown of thorns was not a crown at all. It was probably a bush roughly applied, and tied on with rope.

The thorns probably came from the Lote Tree, a wild bush that still grows freely all over the Holy Land. This bush had thorns between one to two inches long. There are over 70 scalp wounds visible on the man whose image is seared forever into the Shroud of Turin.
The soldiers’ beating with the rods to His head covered with this crown would have caused severe bleeding. It is probable that the clump of thorns was removed before His tunic was put back onto His body, and then reapplied during the Crucifixion. The blood trickling down from the newly opened head wounds suggest that the thorns were reapplied before the Crucifixion.

Imagine the pain you’d feel if just one thorn, measuring 1 to 2 inches long, were stuck into your scalp . . . .

He carried his own cross, weighing 125 lb.

The severe scourging, with its intense pain and appreciable blood loss, most probably left Him in a pre-shock state. Moreover, hematidrosis had rendered his skin particularly tender. The physical and mental abuse, as well as the lack of food, water, and sleep, also contributed to His generally weakened state.

Therefore, even before the actual crucifixion, His physical condition was at least serious and probably critical.

It was customary for the condemned man to carry his own cross from the flogging post to the site of crucifixion outside the city walls.

Since the weight of the entire cross was probably well over 300 lb., “only” the crossbar or patibulum — weighing 75 to 125 lb. — was carried. The patibulum was placed across the nape of His neck and balanced along both shoulders, His outstretched arms tied to the crossbar. The processional to the site of crucifixion was led by a complete Roman military guard, headed by a centurion.

He was nailed to a cross to die.

The Romans did not invent crucifixions, but they perfected it as a form of torture and capital punishment designed to produce a slow death with maximum pain and suffering. It was one of the most disgraceful and cruelest methods of execution and usually was reserved only for slaves, foreigners, revolutionaries, and the vilest of criminals.

At the site of execution, by law, He was given a bitter drink of wine mixed with myrrh (gall) as a mild analgesic. He was then thrown to the ground on his back, with his arms outstretched along the patibulum.

His hands were nailed to the crossbar at the wrists. The nails were tapered iron spikes approximately 5 to 7 inches long with a square shaft 3/8 in. across.

After both arms were fixed to the crossbar, He and the patibulum, together, were lifted onto the stipes. Next, His feet were nailed to the front of the stipes.

Every breath He took was a struggle, seared with pain.

The weight of His body, pulling down on the outstretched arms and shoulders, fixed the intercostal muscles in an inhalation state and thereby hinder passive exhalation. Accordingly, exhalation was primarily diaphragmatic, and breathing was shallow. This form of respiration would not suffice and hypercarbia (abnormally-elevated carbon dioxide levels in the blood) soon resulted. The onset of muscle cramps or tetanic contractions, due to fatigue and hypercarbia, further hindered His breathing.

Every breath He took was a struggle, shot with agonizing pain.

To exhale, He had to lift His body by pushing up on His feet, flexing His elbows and adducting His shoulders. However, this maneuver placed the entire weight of the body on His tarsals, producing searing pain. Furthermore, flexion of His elbows caused rotation of His wrists about the iron nails, causing fiery pain along the damaged median nerves. Lifting of the body also painfully scraped His scourged back against the rough wooden stipes. Muscle cramps and paresthesias (pins and needles) of the outstretched and uplifted arms added to the discomfort. As a result, each respiratory effort became agonizing and tiring and led eventually to asphyxia (depletion of oxygen to the body).

After “only” 3 to 6 hours hung on the cross, He breathed his last.

He suffered terribly, unto death, for each one of us.

Remember His Passion today with the Stations of the Cross. Go here.

An Exorcist Comments on Walmart’s Satanic Products

Satan Approved

“Either they are intentionally promoting demonic things, or they are ignorant. Either way, they are responsible for spreading evil.”

by Patti Armstrong

The products include demonic sculptures and figures; satanic pornography that blasphemes Christ’s crucifixion; numerous products and jewelry with pentagrams and other demonic images, and books that include the Satanic bible and books on spells. Especially featured is Baphomet, the horned, goat-headed figure trademarked as the Church of Satan symbol…

With all the other suspicious things connecting to Walmart, it’s amazing they are coming right out with this awful stuff. If they don’t turn around, it is likely Walmart will suffer the same fate as Sears, which began selling sadomasochistic costumes, and is now going out of business.

Update (August 5, 2019):

There’s a petition protesting Walmart’s sale of satanic products. Go here!

Sunday Devotional: Blessed are you when people hate you

Luke 6:17, 20, 22-23, 26-28

Jesus came down with the twelve….
And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said:
“…Blessed are you when people hate you,
and when they exclude and insult you,
and denounce your name as evil
on account of the Son of Man.
Rejoice and leap for joy on that day!
Behold, your reward will be great in heaven.
For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way….
Woe to you when all speak well of you,
for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.
But to you who hear I say,
love your enemies,
do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you,
pray for those who mistreat you.”

On June 28, 2006, then-Senator Barack Obama famously proclaimed, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation”.

Eight years of his presidency only worked to further de-Christianize America, seen most vividly among the young in the graph below (source: Washington Post).

In 2014, 82% of Americans 65 and older, but only 57% of Americans 18-29 identified themselves as Christians. Younger Americans increasingly identify themselves as religiously unaffiliated: 34% of those ages 18-29  vs. 11% of those 65 and older. As recently as the 1990s, less than 1 in 10 Americans claimed no religious affiliation. By 2014, the religiously unaffiliated increased to 22% of the U.S. population. According to Robert P. Jones, author of The End of White Christian America, by 2051, if current trends continue, religiously unaffiliated Americans could comprise as large a percentage of the population as all Protestants combined — a thought that would have been unimaginable just a few decades ago.

Nature abhors a vacuum.

What the graph and Jones fail to address is that, as Americans increasingly become religiously unaffiliated, witchcraft and satanism are surging:

As Christianity wanes, come the concomitant discriminaton against and persecution of Christians: bakers, teachers, Salvation Army bell-ringers. The homosexual director of Disney’s “Beauty and Beast” declared wanting to rip the Bible to pieces. Sen. Bernie Sanders actually said faithful Christians are racist bigots, unfit for public office. In fact, a 2017 report confirmed that the U.S. government’s hostility toward Christianity spiked under President Obama.

So we shouldn’t be surprised that we are hated and abused, for “If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you.” (John 15:18)

For that hatred, we are told to “rejoice and leap for joy”. As Jeremiah 17:7-8 says:

Thus says the LORD:
Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD,
whose hope is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted beside the waters
that stretches out its roots to the stream:
it fears not the heat when it comes;
its leaves stay green;
in the year of drought it shows no distress,
but still bears fruit.

Be strong!

May the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you,

Tom Brady attributes his Super Bowl wins to ‘rituals’ performed by his witch wife

Tom Brady, 41, the New England Patriots quarterback, has won a phenomenal six Super Bowls, the most of any football player ever.

Last Thursday, February 11, during a shave for charity event at Gillette’s World Shaving Headquarters in Boston, Brady said he attributes his Super Bowl wins to the pre-game “rituals” performed by his wife, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, 38, a self-described witch.

CBS Boston reports that as he had his playoff beard shaved off for charity, Brady told the audience, who intermittently laughed uproariously because, you know, witchcraft is just so darn funny:

“I’ve learned a lot from my wife over the years. She’s so about the power of intention, you know, and believing things that are really going to happen. And she always makes a little altar for me at the game because she just wills it so much.

So she put together a little altar for me that I could bring with pictures of my kids, and I have these little special stones and healing stones and protection stones and she has me wear a necklace and take these drops she makes. I say all these mantras.

I stopped questioning her a long time ago. I did. I just shut up and listened. And at first I thought this is kind of crazy. And then, about four years ago, we were playing the Seahawks and she said, ‘You better listen to me, this is your year, but this is all the things you’re going to have to do to win.’ And I did all those things, and by God, you know, it worked.

And then in 2016, it was about early January, she said, “You know how much I love you, but this is not gonna be your year.’ I said, “What does 60 look like?” She said, “60 is going to be your year.’ So it was early January this year, I said, asking, ‘Babe, do we have a chance?” She said, ‘Yeah, but you’re going to have to do a lot of work, and you’re really going to have to listen to me.’ So, man, I listen to her. Right after the game, she said, ‘See, I did a lot of work.’ She said, ‘You’re lucky you married a witch – I’m just a good witch.'”

You can listen to Brady for yourself by going to the CBS Boston video.

Raised a Catholic, Brady and Bündchen married on February 26, 2009, in a small Catholic ceremony in Santa Monica, California. Brady’s health regimen includes Transcendental Meditation and yoga.

Witch population doubles as millennials cast off Christianity

Satanists at Trump inauguration protest, DC

From NY Post: If you were interested in witchcraft in 1692, you probably would have been jailed or burned at the stake. If you’re interested in witchcraft in 2018, you are probably an Instagram influencer.

From crystal subscription boxes to astrologist-created lip balm, the metaphysical has gone mainstream. Millennials today know more about chakras than your kooky New Age aunt. That’s why it’s no surprise that the generation that is blamed for killing everything is actually bringing popularity to centuries-old practices.

According to the Pew Research Center, about 1.5 million Americans identify as Wiccan or pagan. A decade ago, that number was closer to 700,000. Presbyterians, by comparison, have about 1.4 million votaries.

So why has witch popularity doubled? Perhaps it’s because millennials were raised on Harry Potter? Or maybe it’s because of the rise in popularity of yoga and meditation, researchers suggest.

Regardless, millennials have embraced astrology and the supernatural, even if they aren’t quite sure why. In fact, Stella Bugbee, editor-in-chief and president of the Cut, told the Atlantic that their horoscope content traffic increased 150 percent from 2016 to 2017.

In the same article, Lucie Greene, worldwide director of J. Walter Thompson’s innovation group, which looks at cultural trends, said that over the past few years, New Age practices have “very much geared toward a millennial and young Gen X quotient.”

It’s important to note, however, that while most Wiccans are pagans, all pagans are not necessarily Wiccans. All “witches” also aren’t necessarily “Wiccan.” Confused? Us too.

“Pagan” is an umbrella term that includes a number of different spiritual beliefs, often lumped in with “primitive beliefs,” which was used to describe people from rural areas who had not adopted Christianity. “Wicca” is a religion that “affirms the existence of supernatural power,” according to Merriam-Webster. The term “Wiccan” didn’t enter the mainstream until the late 1950s.

Meanwhile, social media has made it easy for witches of all kinds to bring their practices out into the light, because let’s face it, shiny things like crystals make prime social content.

Influencers like Hoodwitch bring “everyday magic for the modern mystic” to your Instagram feed daily. Moreover, there are more than 2 million posts on the app with the hashtag #witchesofinstagram. Still, it’s not just millennials embracing technology to spread the sorcery. Laurie Cabot, the “Original Witch of Salem,” shares daily spells and insight on Twitter. Cabot was bestowed that title by the then-governor of Massachusetts, Michael Dukakis, in 1977.

Now, it’s not clear if today’s witches are actually practicing spells (they are, see below) and attending new moon meditations or if they’re just capitalist crones scooping up all the witch kitsch. Regardless, it all looks good on Instagram, and when it comes to millennials, that’s the whole point.

The Apostasy of Pope Francis: Wiccan stang and an LGBT rainbow cross

Since his election and installation in March 2013 as Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church, we now have sufficient evidence from Jorge Bergoglio’s words and deeds to raise serious questions as to whether this pope is Catholic or even Christian:

  1. To begin, a legitimate case has been made that Bergoglio’s election as pope was illicit, being contaminated by lobbying in violation of papal law.
  2. Bishops, cardinals and archbishops who are Bergoglio’s allies are flagrant homosexuals and pedophiles. See “Pope Francis’ Vatican: a cesspool of pedophiles and homosexuals” and “Catholic Church in Crisis: Pedophile cardinal; Pennsylvania priests abused 1k children; homoerotic church service“.
  3. Bergoglio misuses the pope’s claim to doctrinal infallibility by claiming papal infallibility on climate change.
  4. He is a rank hypocrite:
  5. As pope, Bergoglio has made pronouncements that are contrary to both Catholic doctrine and Christian theology. As an example, in an interview with his longtime atheist friend Eugenio Scalfari, published March 28, 2018 in La Repubblica, Pope Francis claims that Hell does not exist and that condemned souls just “disappear.” This is a denial of what Jesus Himself said in Mark 9 about Gehenna of “unquenchable fire”, and the 2,000-year-old teaching of the Catholic Church about the reality of Hell and the eternal existence of the soul.
  6. Bergoglio’s reign as pope has been one of terror: His critics are censored and threatened with excommunication. Bergoglio’s most recent and most prominent critic, Archbishop Carlo Viganò, who calls for the pope’s resignation, has gone into hiding, in fear for his life. See also “Cardinal Müller: ‘Pervading sense of fear’ in Pope Francis’ Curia“.
  7. Most egregious of all is Bergoglio’s refusal to genuflect at the consecration, his joke about Christ’s crucifixion, and his concealment of the crucifix by stuffing it inside his waist sash so as not to offend Jews.

Pope Francis hides the Crucifix meeting Israeli rabbis

Here’s the latest — and the last straw for me — on the apostasy of Pope Francis:

(1) The Wiccan Stang

The pagan religion of Wicca or witchcraft uses a range of “magical” tools in its rituals — at an altar or inside a “magic” circle. Each of the tools has different uses and associations, but all supposedly direct magical energies.

The stang is one such “magical” tool — a pronged wooden staff, topped either with a naturally occurring fork or with antlers affixed (Wikipedia). Wiccans claim that witches not only rode on broomsticks, but also on stangs.

On October 3, 2018, Pope Francis opened the Synod of Bishops in Saint Peters Square in Vatican City, holding what appears to be a Wiccan stang, instead of the traditional papal ferula with a cross at the top. (PJMedia)

Contrast the stang carried by Pope Francis with the papal ferula carried by Pope John Paul II:

(2) The LGBT Rainbow Cross

It’s bad enough that homosexuals have appropriated the rainbow, which God sent after the Great Flood as a sign of His promise that He would never again punish humanity and other living creatures with “a flood to destroy the earth” (Genesis 9).

On World Youth Day on October 17, 2018, Bergoglio signaled his solidarity with homosexuals by adorning himself with an LGBT rainbow cross pendant (LifeSiteNews).

Lisa Bourne of LifeSiteNews notes:

The photo of Francis wearing the rainbow cross was also provocative given its timing amid widespread apprehension that the Youth Synod is being used to advance the normalization of homosexuality within the Church. For the first time in a Vatican document, the term “LGBTQ” has been included in the Youth Synod working document. Small groups within the Youth Synod have already called for the Church to recognize “other forms of family” and to pay more attention to homosexuals and the “realities” they face, specifically mentioning “marriage,” surrogate pregnancy, and adoption.

I second Archbishop Viganò’s call for Pope Francis to resign. If U.S. bishops have any integrity, they should do likewise.

H/t Robert R.

Update (Nov. 16):

In an interview, published Oct. 13, Msgr. Nicola Bux, the theologian consultor to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, warned that Pope Francis is issuing statements that are generating “heresies, schisms, and controversies of various kinds” and that Francis should issue a profession of faith to restore unity in the Church. Garbage: “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” underage orgy scene on Netflix

From Fox News: The popular Netflix series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is marketed to young teenage girls, tied to a family friendly comic franchise and billed as a modern reboot of the harmless “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” so when viewers were bombarded with a steamy orgy scene featuring underage characters, some parents and critics were shocked.

Kiernan Shipka, who is best known for her role as Sally Draper on the AMC hit “Mad Men,” portrays the 16-year-old witch in the young adult series, but the intimate scene in “Sabrina” is about as provocative as anything infamous womanizer Don Draper ever participated in on screen.

The orgy scene – set to Fiona Apple’s “Criminal” – appears in the seventh episode of the series and features half-a-dozen scantily clad teens in Sabrina’s house. When the 16-year-old namesake character is hesitant to join in, she’s mocked for “killing the mood” and told to either “get in, or get out.”

The raunchy scene sent viewers scrambling to social media slamming it as “uncomfortable” and inappropriate.

Family Research Council’s senior fellow Peter Sprigg told Fox News that “Sabrina” is not suitable for its target audience.

“Taking once-wholesome comic book characters and turning them into sinister and hyper-sexualized TV characters is a troubling trend in itself. The dark, occultish elements in ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ provide reason enough for parents to keep their children — including teens — far away from this show,” Sprigg said. “The show has gone over the top in depicting an actual orgy on screen, and if they think having the teen participants keep their underwear on makes it all right, the writers and producers need to think again. This content is not appropriate for anyone, but especially not for the teen audience it targets.”

Netflix and Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s other series, CW’s “Riverdale,” also features a similarly uncomfortable striptease hot tub scene with characters who are underage.Sabrina” is billed as a companion series to the CW hit, which has been criticized for similar provocative content. “Riverdale” is also based on an Archie comic, but both of Aguirre-Sacasa’s shows have ditched the wholesome family values of the original intellectual property.

A spokesperson for Aguirre-Sacasa did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Riverdale” are hardly the first two shows to sexualize teens, as The CW’s “Gossip Girl,” Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars” and a variety of MTV programs are recent examples. Most cases involve adult-age actors playing teens in order to get away with erotic storylines — with “Sabrina” being no exception. However, some media gurus feel things are getting worse in the modern era of prestige TV.

“It’s ill-advised for Netflix to go down this road given the climate. With no advertisers to answer to, it seems they’ll take the controversy and press it will generate over any kind of subscriber backlash,” The Hill’s media reporter Joe Concha told Fox News.

Media Research Center Vice president Dan Gainor criticized Netflix as “woke TV,” pointing to “Sabrina” as an example of why parents must proceed with caution before allowing children access to the streaming giant.

This depraved show promotes teen sex and witchcraft. Parents need to know that’s what their kids might be watching when they tune in Netflix,” Gainor told Fox News.

Commercial artist Troy Riser was among the outspoken critics on social media, sending numerous tweets condemning Netflix for the “orgy scene” and even declaring that “traditional kid-friendly brands such as the Archie Comics universe should not be used to market softcore porn.” Riser’s children are adults now, but when reached by Fox News he explained that he’s concerned for today’s youth.

“Packaging adult entertainment in a traditionally family-friendly brand is pretty disturbing stuff,” Riser told Fox News. “I’m thinking more about children in general — young girls in particular — who would gravitate to a show about ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ a show many parents would naturally think would be kid-safe given their own memories of Archie comics and the G-rated Melissa Joan Hart show several years ago.”

19 reasons not to do Halloween, a Satanic ‘holy’ day

Today is Halloween — a “festival” that years ago became something very different from the Halloween FOTM‘s readers remember from childhood, not that Halloween had ever been innocent.

Halloween has become America’s most popular and “celebrated” holiday, as indicated in the outside decorations of homes. In my neighborhood and city, Halloween decorations far outnumber Christmas decorations — a sad commentary on how much Americans have fallen.

I find Halloween repugnant.

The least of the reasons why I find this day repellent is because Halloween has become yet another occasion for wasteful, pointless “spend, spend, spend” consumerism — on candies (that rot kids’ teeth), costumes, masks, and truly sick Halloween theme parks like this one:
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXIIA0bNsY4]

End of the American Dream blogger Michael Snyder writes that he no longer celebrates Halloween because —

“it is a wretched, horrible holiday that celebrates the darkest side of humanity, and it is deeply rooted in ancient pagan traditions that would get people thrown in prison if they attempted to duplicate them today. With each passing year, the sexually suggestive costumes being marketed to our young girls become even skankier, the horror movies become darker and even more demonic, and the number of Americans that participate in occult ceremonies just continues to grow. In fact, it has been estimated that the number of self-identified witches in the United States is doubling every 30 months. Those that are deeply into the occult take this holiday very seriously, and the dark forces that they are dealing with are very real. So no, I don’t want anything to do with this festival of death.”

Below are Snyder’s 18 reasons why he doesn’t celebrate Halloween, followed by reason #19, an account by a former Satanist.

1. Halloween celebrates death, witchcraft and the occult, all of which can open up a door for demonic activity.

2. In 2015, the average American spent $74.34 on Halloween, money that many don’t have to waste.

3. Millions of women use Halloween as an excuse to dress like street walkers, and millions of men use Halloween as an excuse to act like sexual predators.

4. Little girls as young as three years old are being dressed up in sexually provocative costumes, grooming them for what?

5. Dressing up little children as ghosts, demons and vampires is not innocent fun. In recent years, there has been a trend to make costumes for children as hellish as possible.

6. Did you know that the original purpose to dress up in costumes on October 31 was “to change the personality of the wearer to allow for communication with the spirit world“? For 11 years in a row, dressing up as a witch has been the number one costume choice for adults in the United States.

Note: No wonder the number of self-identified witches has skyrocketed in recent years, from 8,000 in 1990 to 340,000 in 2008, a year that also found roughly 340,000 self-described Pagans. Currently, nearly one million Americans identify themselves as Wiccans or Pagans. (See “Thousands of witches to put a hex on Justice Kavanaugh, Oct. 20”)

7. In ancient Britain, the festival known as Samhain was celebrated on October 31 — a day when dead souls are believed to revisit their old homes. Personally, I don’t want anything to do with contacting the souls of the dead.

8. According to the History Channel, Samhain was also the day when the Druids “gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities,” which should be anathema to Christians.

9. Samhain/Halloween is a high day for wiccans. Did you know that Wicca is the fastest growing religion in America? According to the American Religious Identification Survey, the number of self-identified Wiccans in the United States grew from 8,000 in 1990 to 134,000 in 2001 to 342,000 in 2008. According to The New York Post, some experts have estimated that the number of witches in the U.S. is doubling every 30 months, and that there may now be “8 million undeclared practitioners” of “the craft” in this country. At this rate, Wicca will soon become the third largest “religion” in America after Christianity and Islam.

10. Wiccans believe Halloween is the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest, and that on this day their god “dies” and is reborn every year on the Winter Solstice, which will be December 22 this year.

11. For the ancient Druids, the purpose of Samhain or Halloween was to ensure the return of the sun god, with human and animal sacrifices. According to occult expert Bill Schnoebelen:

Druids worshiped the sun god, called by names like Bel (Ba’al?) or Chrom. On October 31, they believed that he died and went into the kingdom of the dead, Anwynn. The purpose of Samhain was to insure his return. Even witches admit this involved human sacrifice.

Both animal and human blood were believed to be needed to resurrect Bel on Samhain. Human blood was believed to open the gates of Anwynn and released the spirits for a night. Thus, October 31 came to be associated with ghosts. This is not just history. Samhain is still celebrated by Pagans and is the most solemn ceremony on their “religious calendar”.

12. To this day, animal torture and sacrifice are practiced on Halloween by occultists. Many animal shelters will not adopt out black cats during the month of October for this very reason.

13. The pagan holiday of Samhain was co-opted by Pope Gregory the First in 601 A.D. in an effort to “christianize” existing pagan holiday and practices, rather than try to obliterate them. Thus, Samhain became All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween.

14. The tradition of “trick-or-treating” in costumes and masks is also one of those existing pagan traditions that was later “Christianized”. The ancient Druids believed that Halloween was a night when mischievous and evil spirits roamed freely and could play tricks on the living. To allay them, villagers would pacify the ghosts with a banquet-laden table. At the end of the feast, masked and costumed villagers would parade to the outskirts of town leading the ghosts away. The masks and costumes were to scare away the ghosts or to keep from being recognized by them.

15. The tradition of carving out a “Jack-O-Lantern” also comes from paganism. According to wicca.com, turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos when the Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was not advised. Bill Schnoebelen explains that pumpkins eventually replaced turnips, but the meaning remained the same:

Here it’s a pumpkin, but in Europe it was often a turnip, or a skull with a candle in it. This serves two symbols, 1) the lord of the Dead, a “god” just like a Buddha – in short, an idol. 2) The fearsome face represented the god, Samhain, who would drive off less powerful demons that night. The lights in the Jack-o-Lantern symbolize the “faery fires” or “Will’o the Wisps” which were believed to be the lost souls flitting through the night. They also hearken back to the huge Samhain “balefires” which were lit to help conjure back the god from the darkness.

16. On all Satanic “holy” (a oxymoron!) days, including Halloween, children are ritually abused. This has been documented repeatedly, and yet most people (including most Christians) don’t want to hear about it.

17. For Satanists, Halloween is one of the most important celebrations of the year. On page 96 of the Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey wrote that “After one’s own birthday, the two major Satanic holidays are Walpurgisnacht (May 1st) and Halloween.”

18. The Scriptures command us in no uncertain terms to refrain from paganism and witchcraft. Deuteronomy 18:9-13 says: “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults with the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord”. Halloween, however, as explained above, was and is a pagan festival, as well as a major Satanic holiday.

19. A former satanist named David Arias said “it’s no coincidence” that his descent into occultism began with attending a rock concert on Halloween when he was 18 years old:

That beginning led to “underground parties” in empty warehouses. There was rock music, drugs and secret rituals in “special places” of the warehouse. The organizers downplayed the rituals, trying to make them seem normal, but they were actually Satanic. Evil was being invited into the bodies and souls of the unsuspecting partiers.

Through these parties I got deeper into the dark world of Satanism. I learned that Satan wants to be like God, so he requires sacrifices to be offered to him. The most basic and common sacrifices were of animals. I participated in these and other evil rituals for almost four years, but I could not bring myself to kill a human being, which is required to make it to the highest . . . level of Satanism.

The easiest way to kill someone is through abortion because the baby has no defense. You can kill babies anytime you want in this country, as long as they’re still inside the womb. We had an abortionist in our group who knew exactly what abortion was about: sacrificing innocent lives to Satan. Abortion is an anti-sacrament.

Arias, who became a Catholic convert, warns about Halloween:

This is a special day for darkness, and it shouldn’t be treated as a game, like I did. It is a demonic celebration used as a tool to gain souls for hell….

People make their homes look like haunted cemeteries.… This invites evil spirits inside. It’s really simple: If you want to attract evil, you put up depictions of evil. If you want to attract good, you put up depictions of good.

Arias urges that Christians, instead of celebrating the satanic pagan high day of Halloween, “read the Bible; teach your children about the Church; donate something to the poor.”

Thousands of witches to put a hex on Justice Kavanaugh, Oct. 20

PRAY!

We ask our Lord Jesus Christ to send His mighty angels against the forces of darkness being invoked by the witches, willing tools of demons.

Feminism has devolved into not just man-hating (see “Feminist professor screams at her 71-year-old husband: ‘I hate all men and wish you all dead!’“), but also Satanism, in the guise of Wicca and witches. See:

Citing Quartz and Pew research data, LifeSiteNews reports that recent decades have seen a dramatic rise in paganism and the number of Americans identifying as witches while Christian denominations have been losing members. The United States’ Wiccan population skyrocketed from 8,000 in 1990 to 340,000 in 2008, a year that also found roughly 340,000 self-described Pagans. Currently, 0.3% of Americans identify themselves as Wiccans or Pagans; as many as 22.8% self-identify as atheist, agnostic, or religiously unaffiliated.

The 2016 presidential election was not just a political battle, it was spiritual war. Did you know that Satanists were among those in the Washington, DC, protest against Trump’s presidential inauguration? (Source of pics: PJMedia)

To hex is to cast a curse on someone via black “magic”.

Witches tried to hex President Trump, but failed.

Now, thousands of witches plan to gather in Brooklyn on October 20 to put a hex on newly-confirmed Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Douglas Ernst reports for The Washington Times, Oct. 11, 2018, that Catland, an occult bookstore and “spiritual community space” in Brooklyn, NY, will host a “ritual” to hex Justice Kavanaugh on October 20.

The witchcraft shop’s invitation on its Facebook page reads:

Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them. We are embracing witchcraft’s true roots as the magik [sic] of the poor, the downtrodden and disenfranchised and it’s [sic] history as often the only weapon, the only means of exacting justice available to those of us who have been wronged by men just like him. He will be the focal point, but by no means the only target, so bring your rage and and all of the axes you’ve got to grind. There will also be a second ritual afterward — ‘The Rites of the Scorned One’ which seeks to validate, affirm, uphold and support those of us who have been wronged and who refuse to be silent any longer.

Admission costs $10 per person, but Catland says no one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds. The shop says 25% of all proceeds will go to the Ali Forney Center, a non-profit organization for homeless LGBT youths; another 25% will be donated to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion business in America, killing 320,000 unborn babies every year, 900 babies every day, and “subsidized” by taxpayers to the tune of $400 million a year, thanks to these four senators.

Reporting on October 11, Washington Times said more than 10,000 people had shown interest in attending the event, and over 900 people have RSVP’d.

According to Huffington Post, the hexing event is organized by Dakota Bracciale, a Brooklyn-based witch who is organizing the Oct. 20 event, said the October 20 hex will involve photos and effigies of Kavanaugh, along with graveyard dirt and coffin nails.

Bracciale dismisses what “good” witches believe — that whatever curse you cast on another will boomerang back onto you three folds.

On a now discontinued GoFundMe fundraising page, Bracciale describes himself as “a queer, non-binary, disabled witch living and working in Brooklyn with my partner and our two cats, Handsome and Dahlia.”

Those poor cats….

Please keep President Trump, Justice Kavanaugh, and America in your prayers.

About Asia Argento

Was Anthony Bourdain out of his mind to trust her?

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYzwNf5OFgk?rel=0]

If you are like me, you had hardly ever heard the name, Asia Argento, until Anthony Bourdain was already dead.

WARNING: I also don’t know the maker of this video, and cannot vouch for his accuracy or truthfulness.

It seems there is much more to this story than a suicide or a murder. Is Hillary involved? I have no idea.
Is the devil involved?
Yes. Definitely yes.
