Another longtime American institution lost to pedophiles and the Left’s political correctness.
Founded in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the largest Scouting organizations and youth organizations in the United States. Boys are trained in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations. More than 110 million Americans have been participants in BSA programs at some time.
In recent years, BSA has been mired in controversy over the admission of LGBTs as scouts or adult leaders. On January 1, 2014, after major businesses like Intel, UPS and Merch severed their financial ties with the BSA’s decision to retain its policy prohibiting LGBT scouts and adults, BSA changed its policy. Henceforth, LGBTs are allowed, but any sexual conduct, whether heterosexual or homosexual, is not allowed. That, in turn, alienated some churches and conservative members who left the BSA for a new Christian scouting group, Trail Life USA.
Max Jaeger reports for the New York Post that sources told The Wall Street Journal that the Boy Scouts of America has hired Chicago law firm Sidley Austin for help in a potential Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
On December 12, 2018, BSA sent a letter to its employees that it plans to “explore all options available to ensure that the local and national programming of the Boy Scouts of America continues uninterrupted.”
BSA is overcome by an avalanche of problems, including:
A precipitous drop in membership of as many as two-thirds of its members — some 4 million boys — since the 1970s. In the last two years alone, the Mormon Church — BSA’s first partner — where scout membership had long been considered a rite of passage, pulled 610,000 scouts.
Dozens of sex abuse lawsuits, stemming from hundreds of claims of abuse in the ‘70s and ‘80s, including one filed by four former scouts who claim they were molested by scoutmaster Waldron Ackerman between 1974 and 1976. The plaintiffs claim that BSA was aware that scouting had become a “pedophile magnet” but didn’t take appropriate action to prevent abuse from occurring. Last year alone, BSA paid $7.6 million to an outside law firm to help fight its legal battles.
A lawsuit by the Girl Scouts this November for trademark infringement and dilution after the Boy Scouts of America dropped “boy” from its name to rebrand as just “Scouts” in its quest expand recruitment to girls and “transgenders”.

On November 28, 2018, five years after one of its priests was arrested for stripping naked in a mall and threatening to rape a female parishioner, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sioux City, Iowa finally acknowledged the incident in a statement.
More than that, Ryan J. Foley reports for the AP that the diocese defended its decision to continue employing the priest, Rev. Jeremy Wind, calling the 2013 “incident” a “mental health episode” from which he’d recovered with the help of medication and treatment. The diocese gave no details about what occurred and told parishioners the scrutiny was unfortunate and unnecessary because “there is nothing newsworthy to report.”
The diocese’s acknowledgment of the incident came in response to inquiries from The Associated Press, which used the state’s open records law to shed light on Wind’s criminal case that was recently erased from public court files. All records related to the case disappeared from the Iowa courts online database this year, after Wind was transferred to the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City.
According to police reports, in December 2013, Wind, 39, was meeting with a female parishioner at a bakery when he began behaving erratically. He had just celebrated Mass at Christ the King church in Sioux Center, a town of 7,000 people in northwest Iowa.
According to the woman’s statement to the police, Wind told her he was going to masturbate, and took off his pants. She ran and lock herself in her car. But Wind chased her to her car, yelled about raping her, and pounded on the vehicle’s window.
The woman said: “I was so horrified, I thought what am I going to do? I sat for awhile because I didn’t want to hurt him. When he started banging so hard that I thought he was going to break the window, I drove away.”
A Sioux Center police officer found Wind at the nearby Centre Mall. Wind said he had no pants on because he “wanted to rape her” and said he also wanted to rape the officer. Wind ripped off the officer’s name tag, punched the officer, and was handcuffed on the ground as a deputy pointed a Taser at him.
Wind was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct in a criminal complaint that didn’t mention the woman or his statements about rape. Under a September 2014 plea bargain that said Wind was “experiencing mania along with psychosis which prevented him from understanding his conduct at that time” of the incident, he received a deferred judgment, paid a $200 fine and was put on “informal probation” for one year.
The diocese said in its statement that Wind received counseling and medical treatment for mental illness, is on medication, follows “a lifestyle regimen that enables him to function without problems,” and “has since provided exemplary spiritual and priestly care to his parishioners.”
Wind’s assault and arrest is not the first time that the Sioux City diocese has come under public scrutiny.
A month ago, on October 31, 2018, only after The Associated Press made inquiries, the dioceseacknowledged it had kept quiet a priest’s admission 32 years ago to sexually abusing some 50 boys— a silence that may have put other boys in danger.
According to a private letter written in February by the diocese vicar general and obtained by the AP, in 1986, Rev. Jerome Coylereported to Sioux City’s bishop that he had victimized approximately 50 boys over a 20-year period while serving in several Iowa parishes.
Coyle, now 85, was stripped of his parish assignments in the 1980s but never defrocked. The diocese recently helped him move into a retirement home in Fort Dodge, Iowa, without informing administrators at the Catholic school across the street.
On November 13, 2018, six American survivors of priest sex-abuse filed a class-action civil lawsuit at U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., against the Vatican (Holy See) and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), citinga federal anti-racketeering law known as RICO.
The six plaintiffs who claim they had been abused by clergy as minors: Timothy B. Lennon, of Arizona; Mark S. Belenchia, of Mississippi; Alfred L. Antonsen Jr., of Illinois; Joseph Piscitelli, of California; Shaun A. Dougherty, of Pennsylvania; and Mark Crawford, of New Jersey. (LifeSiteNews)
In “How to Make a RICO Case Against Gangs,” Police: The Law Enforcement Magazine, November 20, 2008, Sgt. Richard Valdemar, a retired L.A. County sheriff, points out that the importance of RICO is that it is used successfully to indict and convict members of a corrupt organization who themselves had not committed criminal acts. In his words:
Any member of any criminal enterprise can be charged with RICO racketeering if he can be shown to have committed two of 27 federal or eight state charges within a 10-year period as part of the enterprise. A person can be charged even if that person did not directly commit the crime but only agreed to the commission or conspired with the perpetrators in any way.
Sgt. Valdemar explains that a RICO trial usually consists of two phases:
First you must prove the criminal organization or enterprise esists.
Secondly, you must prove that those charged in the indictment have each committed at least two acts of racketeering activity, one within the recent proscribed period and the second within 10 years. These are called “predicate acts” and they show a pattern of criminal acts as opposed to individual acts if they “have the same or similar purpose, results, participants, victims, or methods of commission, or otherwise are interrelated by distinguishing characteristics and are not isolated events.”
In the case of the class-action civil suit against the Vatican and U.S. bishops, the Vatican is sued as a foreign state, an unincorporated association, and as the “head of an international religious organization”; and the U.S. bishops as leaders of “an unincorporated association”.
1. This case is about the endemic, systemic, rampant, and pervasive rape and sexual abuse of Plaintiffs and Class Members perpetrated by Roman Catholic Church cardinals, bishops, monsignors, priests, sisters, lay leaders, members of Catholic religious orders, educators, and other of Defendants’ personnel, members, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Clergy” or “Catholic Clergy”) while serving in active ministry—with the knowledge of Defendants.Rather than safeguarding and protecting Plaintiffs and Class Members—who were minor children at the time—Defendants protected the abusive Clergy, took extraordinary measures to conceal their wrongful conduct, moved them from parish to parish, without warning church members or the general public, thereby further facilitating their predatory practices, failed and refused to report the abusive Clergy to law enforcement or other responsible authorities as required by law, and—incredibly—even promoted the abusive Clergy. Defendants’ wrongful acts are ongoing and continuous….
3. The RICO enterprise alleged in this Complaint is the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, an unincorporated association-in-fact…. This association-in-fact enterprise will be referred to as the “Church Enterprise” or the “Enterprise.” As of 2017, there were over 37,000 Catholic priests and other Clergy in the Church Enterprise. Each diocese is headed by a bishop who, in turn, is a member of Defendant USCCB….
5. Defendants’ schemes to defraud involved (and continue to involve) means of false or fraudulent pretenses and/or fraudulent and intentionally misleading representations and omissions, including, inter alia, (i) Defendants (and the Clergy) secretly misrepresenting to Plaintiffs and Class Members—through their words and deeds—that they were men of faith who had Plaintiffs’ and Class Members’ best interests at heart, and then, knowing that Plaintiffs and Class Members relied on their representations and put their faith and trust in the Clergy as their spiritual leaders, took advantage of their positions of power and influence and sexually abused Plaintiffs and Class Members, (ii) Defendants (and the Clergy) misrepresenting to Plaintiffs, Class Members, Defendants, the Clergy, and/or other third parties—explicitly and/or implicitly—that the wrongful sexual abuse did not occur (denial and deceit), (iii) Defendants (and the Clergy) shifting the focus of the allegations to Plaintiffs and Class by painting them as liars, alleging Plaintiffs and Class Members falsified the charges, or that they suffered from some mental illness giving rise to their allegations of Clergy sexual abuse, and (iv) Defendants (and the Clergy) actively and fraudulently concealing the Clergy’s wrongful sexual abuseby, among other things, (a) burying the charges deep within Defendants’ organizations and affirmatively deciding not to publicize, properly investigate, or act on them, (b) failing and refusing to terminate, or even discipline, abusing Clergy, (c) moving the abusive Clergy from parish to parish, without warning church members or the general public, thereby further facilitating their predatory practices, failing and refusing to report the abusive Clergy to law enforcement or other responsible authorities as required by law, and even promoting abusive Clergy, and (iv) using all available means to look the other way, deny, obstruct the investigation of, and conceal Clergy sexual abuse. Defendants’ wrongful acts are open-ended, ongoing, and continuous.
6. As a direct and proximate result of Defendants’ (and the Clergy’s) above-referenced wrongful actions, inaction, omissions, cover-up, deception, and concealment, obstructive behavior regarding investigations, and conspiracy of silence, inter alia, (i) Plaintiffs and Class Members have suffered (and will continue to suffer) physical and/or mental injury, pain, suffering, and other actual and consequential injury, harm, and economic damages to themselves, their businesses and/or their property, (ii) Defendants have maintained (and will continue to maintain) their reputations and maintained and expanded (and will continue to expand and maintain) their commercial operations in the United States whereby Defendants and the Enterprise obtained (and will continue to obtain) money, funds, credits, assets, and/or other property, and (iii) Defendants wrongfully shifted the risk, expense, and pain, and suffering of the Clergy sexual abuse to Plaintiffs and Class Members and robbed them of their childhood, youth, innocence, virginity, families, jobs, finances, assets—in short, their lives.
So what is the reaction of Vatican and U.S. bishops to the clergy sex-abuse scandal and the class-action RICO lawsuit?
On November 12, 2018, at the conclusion of the annual conference of U.S. bishops in Baltimore, Maryland, conference president Cardinal Daniel DiNardo said the USCCB will delay action to deal with the sexual abuse of minors by clergy until after a global meeting in February at the request of the Vatican.
[M]any U.S. bishops expected their November general assembly in Baltimore to produce something tangible – a new policy, structure, or system – that would help them reassure Catholics that they were responding to months of sexual abuse scandals breaking across the Church.
But after a last-minute Vatican’s decision to suspend a vote on draft measures until after a Rome meeting of the heads of the world’s bishops’ conferences in February, it seems likely that no universal response to the crisis will emerge until at least the second half of 2019.
Some U.S. bishops have told CNA they now realize that if they want to initiate new reforms, they’ll have to do so in their own dioceses, using the ordinary prerogatives of a diocesan bishop.
Meanwhile, the clergy sex abuse of children is exacting a financial toll on the U.S. Catholic Church which will only get worse:
In September, Legatus — an organization of Catholic business leaders — announced it was placing its annual donation to the Holy See in escrow until it can receive clarification on questions of financial accountability — how the money is being used, and what financial accountability exists within the Vatican for such charitable contributions. According to the Wall Street Journal, Legatus’ 2018 tithe to the Holy See would have been about $820,000. (Catholic News Agency)
On November 18, 2018, the Diocese of Winona-Rochester in Minnesota announced it will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, due to the 121 claims of child sexual abuse by 17 priests within the diocese. In a recorded video statement posted on the diocesan website, Bishop John Quinn said that on behalf of his brother priests, he “offer(s) an apology to these survivors and acknowledge their pain and suffering,” and pledged to “remain vigilant” to prevent abuse in the future. Survivors of clerical sexual abuse in the diocese will be compensated by a combination of insurance, savings, money from the sale of assets, and other sources. No parishes or parish schools will be closing due to the bankruptcy filing because they are separate legal entities. (Catholic News Agency)
On November 29, 2018, a day after New Mexico’s attorney general executed a search warrant on the chancery office of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico, for files related to two priests accused of sexual abuse, the archdioce announced it will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization to meet its responsibility to sexual abuse victims. There are 35-40 active claims against the archdiocese.(Catholic News Agency)
Hollywood truly is a cess pool of stomach-churning evil.
Crazy Days and Nights (CDAN) is a Hollywood blog run by someone with evident insider knowledge of the “entertainment industry” — Ent Lawyer (Ent=Entertainment), who says he’s never been sued. He is described by The Daily Beast as having a track record of accuracy. Investigative journalist Mark Ebner said this about Ent Lawyer:
In my opinion, that’s what makes him so impressive, is that no one knows who he is, and he’s being proven right again and again. That’s like legendary shit.
Born in 1958, Kelly Jean Van Dyke was an actress and porn movie performer. She was the daughter of actor Jerry Van Dyke and niece of actor Dick Van Dyke. As an actress she was known for such television programs as My Mother the Car.
In a blind reveal today, Ent Lawyer of CDAN states that Jerry Van Dyke raped Kelly when she was 12. Not only did he continue to rape his daughter, Jerry also pimped her out to other men, including actors Robert Mitchum and Martin Landau. Below is the CDAN blind reveal (I inserted the names):
This is from an unpublished interview in 1990. The magazine, which is a monthly magazine, is known by all of you and fact checked the story. They refused to publish it though because they didn’t want to ruin the lives of the men involved, based on the recollections of a person they knew would have her past actions called out. One of the editors also said that at some point, the woman [Kelly Van Dyke] gave consent to the sex. Umm, she was barely a teenager. There was no consent. I will use R for reporter and S for subject. The father they are discussing was a B list mostly television actor [Jerry Van Dyke]. The [Robert Mitchum] in the interview is a permanent A+/A list mostly movie actor who was a long time family friend of the B lister. The subject killed herself about a year after this interview.
R – When did it first begin?
S – I was about 12. My dad came in my room sometime during the night. He was drunk and told me it was time for me to grow up. He then crawled into my bed and slid down my underwear and raped me.
R – Was that the only time?
S – From that point forward, whenever he would get drunk I knew he would be coming after me. I started spending the night away from home whenever I thought he might go out and start drinking. I started stealing sleeping pills from a stash of them I found in the medicine cabinet just to not be awake during the rapes. I then started taking them during the day just to numb the pain. I have been addicted to some kind of drug ever since.
R – You mentioned earlier that your dad would sometimes bring others with him. Would you clarify that?
S – Sometimes, but not often, my dad would bring over [Robert Mitchum]. He was a big movie star even back then. My dad would bring me to one of the guest bedrooms and tell me to make his friend happy and that if I didn’t, he would beat me. This started after I had started taking pills and most of the time I was a zombie, but knew there was no fighting it so would just do what he or any of the other friends dad brought over, wanted to do to me.
R – How many times did [Robert Mitchum] come over?
S – At least five or six times. One time my dad brought me to a film set to watch [Martin Landau] make [Lethal Victims]. I thought it was really fun to be there until my dad told me to go to [Martin Landau’s] trailer and wait for him. I knew what that meant. I hated going to any movie sets after that. My whole life has been one f**ked up mess because of what my dad did to me. Do you think I like doing what I do for a living? I hate it. Every single time I have sex the faces of these men show up everywhere. I hate my life and I hate living.

Here’s more evidence that the Democrat Party is the Party of Evil.
According to Wikipedia, with a networth in February 2018 of $1.54 billion, Mark Pincus, 52, is an Internet entrepreneur who was a founding investor of Twitter and Facebook. He is also the founder of Zynga, a mobile social gaming company; the startups Freeloader, Inc., and Support.com; incubator SuperLabs; and the co-founder of Win the Future (WTF), the “progressive left wing” insurgency movement within the already left-wing Democratic Party.
In the 2016 presidential election, Pincus was a supporter of Hillary Clinton, as seen in the pic below. He blames Hillary’s loss on “outside factors like Russian meddling”.
In 2003, at age 37, Pincus founded his third startup, Tribe.net, an early social network. Tribe.net partnered with major local newspapers and was backed by The Washington Post, Knight Ridder Digital, and Mayfield Fund and Guy Spier.
Pincus said in 2008:
“We’ve kept Tribe going not because we believed it would turn into a phenomenal business success like Bebo or Facebook, but because I think it serves a really valuable role for the community.”
In November 2016, a poster on Voat discovered a massive sadistic pedophile “community” at Tribe.net, where child porn of the sickest sort is openly available, and where sadistic pedophiles boast of “no limits” to their twisted perversities.
On Tribe, members can initiate a discussion on a particular subject by starting a new thread. One of the threads is truly evil, titled “Newborn Snuff,” which was begun on October 2, 2015 by a member who calls himself BabySnuff. This is what BabySnuff wrote (WARNING: Graphic language):
“Anyone else have a fantasy of raping a newborn to death? Kidnap a woman off the street, rape her and impregnate her, then when she gives birth, immediately shove your cock inside the newborn and rape it, tearing it apart with your cock. Once you cum, and the baby is a broken mess, just shove it back inside the whore it came from.”
Below are some of the comments on that thread:
“HAIL SATAN. its the best”
“HAIL SATAN! I need to give myself to him to become a temple 4 him to enter & instruct me how to fuck NB’s as a way of worshiping him!!”
“i want to ruff fuck bbys balls deep on my cock & worship satan with a large group of nepi bby snffers into 666!!!! ”
Other threads on Tribe include incest, cannibalism, and spreading AIDS via “gay” sex.

Since his election and installation in March 2013 as Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church, we now have sufficient evidence from Jorge Bergoglio’s words and deeds to raise serious questions as to whether this pope is Catholic or even Christian:
He calls Christian gun-manufacturers hypocrites, but the Vatican’s own Swiss guards are well-armed with a dizzying array of traditional (sword, command baton, partisan, halberd, flamberge and cuirass) and modern arms (SIG P220 pistol, Glock 19, Steyr TMP, Heckler & Koch MP5A3, Heckler & Koch MP7A1, SIG SG 550, and SIG SG 552).
As pope, Bergoglio has made pronouncements that are contrary to both Catholic doctrine and Christian theology. As an example, in an interview with his longtime atheist friend Eugenio Scalfari, published March 28, 2018 in La Repubblica, Pope Francis claims that Hell does not exist and that condemned souls just “disappear.” This is a denial of what Jesus Himself said in Mark 9 about Gehenna of “unquenchable fire”, and the 2,000-year-old teaching of the Catholic Church about the reality of Hell and the eternal existence of the soul.
Pope Francis hides the Crucifix meeting Israeli rabbis
Here’s the latest — and the last straw for me — on the apostasy of Pope Francis:
(1) The Wiccan Stang
The pagan religion of Wicca or witchcraft uses a range of “magical” tools in its rituals — at an altar or inside a “magic” circle. Each of the tools has different uses and associations, but all supposedly direct magical energies.
The stang is one such “magical” tool — a pronged wooden staff, topped either with a naturally occurring fork or with antlers affixed (Wikipedia). Wiccans claim that witches not only rode on broomsticks, but also on stangs.
On October 3, 2018, Pope Francis opened the Synod of Bishops in Saint Peters Square in Vatican City, holding what appears to be a Wiccan stang, instead of the traditional papal ferula with a cross at the top. (PJMedia)
Contrast the stang carried by Pope Francis with the papal ferula carried by Pope John Paul II:
(2) The LGBT Rainbow Cross
It’s bad enough that homosexuals have appropriated the rainbow, which God sent after the Great Flood as a sign of His promise that He would never again punish humanity and other living creatures with “a flood to destroy the earth” (Genesis 9).
On World Youth Day on October 17, 2018, Bergoglio signaled his solidarity with homosexuals by adorning himself with an LGBT rainbow cross pendant (LifeSiteNews).
The photo of Francis wearing the rainbow cross was also provocative given its timing amid widespread apprehension that the Youth Synod is being used to advance the normalization of homosexuality within the Church. For the first time in a Vatican document, the term “LGBTQ” has been included in the Youth Synod working document. Small groups within the Youth Synod have already called for the Church to recognize “other forms of family” and to pay more attention to homosexuals and the “realities” they face, specifically mentioning “marriage,” surrogate pregnancy, and adoption.
I second Archbishop Viganò’s call for Pope Francis to resign. If U.S. bishops have any integrity, they should do likewise.
H/t Robert R.
Update (Nov. 16):
In an interview, published Oct. 13, Msgr. Nicola Bux, the theologian consultor to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, warned that Pope Francis is issuing statements that are generating “heresies, schisms, and controversies of various kinds” and that Francis should issue a profession of faith to restore unity in the Church. (LifeSiteNews)

In the course of his teaching Jesus said to the crowds, “Beware of the scribes, who like to go around in long robes and accept greetings in the marketplaces, seats of honor in synagogues, and places of honor at banquets. They devour the houses of widows and, as a pretext recite lengthy prayers. They will receive a very severe condemnation.”
Accusations of 88-year-old Cardinal McCarrick’s sexual abuse include:
Fondling an 11-year-old boy over 40 years ago when McCarrick was a priest in Manhattan, New York. The victim, now a mature man, says the sexually abusive relationship continued for two more decades. (NY Post)
Groping and having sex with seminarians: Six priests of the Archdiocese of Newark said that when then-Archbishop of Newark McCarrick visited the seminary, he “would often place his hand on seminarians while talking with them, or on their thighs while seated near them.” One of the priests said McCarrick “had a type: tall, slim, intelligent – but no smokers” and that McCarrick would invite young men to stay at his house on the shore or spend the night in the cathedral rectory in central Newark. Another priest, who was an aide to New York Cardinal Terence Cooke in the early 1970s, said McCarrick’s “reputation” was already well-established by that time, and that a classmate of McCarrick, the dean of a theology school, knew about the rumors and spoke about them with the other faculty and theologians very openly.” So well-known was McCarrick’s reputation that a “standing joke” was that when McCarrick visited the seminary, they had to “hide the handsome ones” before he arrived. Another priest, who worked in close proximity to then-Archbishop McCarrick in the chancery, said: “Priests would tell me ‘he’s sleeping with them’ all the time, but I couldn’t believe it – they seemed like perfectly normal guys.” Seminarians and priests from ordination classes spanning 30 years during the terms of McCarrick and his successor, Archbishop John Myers, said there was an active homosexual subculture of priests and seminarians within Newark’s Immaculate Conception Seminary. (Catholic News Agency)
Despite McCarrick’s well-known reputation of groping and “sleeping with” seminarians, the Vatican promoted him to the cardinalate and to archbishop of Washington, DC, in 2001.
On August 31, 2018, Catholic News Service, the news agency of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, published a 2006 letter from then-Archbishop Leonardo Sandri confirming that the Vatican had received information in 2000 about the sexual misconduct of McCarrick. Sandri’s letter lends credibility to accusations of a cover-up of McCarrick’s deeds at the highest echelons of the Roman Catholic Church. (New York Post)
Although McCarrick’s pedophilia had been known for some time, Pope Francis covered up for McCarrick, ignored the sanctions that Pope Benedict XVI had imposed on McCarrick, and even made McCarrick a trusted counselor in U.S. clerical appointments, including the promotion of far-Left bishops such as Blase Cupich of Chicago and Joseph Tobin of Newark to the College of Cardinals.
On July 28, 2018, after shielding Cardinal McCarrick, Pope Francis “accepted” the former Archbishop of Washington, DC’s offer to resign from the College of Cardinals, and ordered the cardinal’s suspension from the exercise of any public ministry, pending “accusations made against him are examined in a regular canonical trial.” (The Remnant)
Michael Stone reports for Patheos, Oct. 3, 2014, that police found more than 100,000 child porn videos and photos on the computer of former Archbishop Jozef Wesolowski in his office at the Holy See diplomatic compound in the Dominican Republic. Wesolowski was the Vatican’s papal nuncio or ambassador in Santo Domingo.
Wesolowski was also accused of raping numerous children in the Dominican Republic and Poland, and suspected of having sexually abused children while serving in other posts during his career — in South Africa, Costa Rica, Japan, Switzerland, India and Denmark.
After being publicly accused of procuring child prostitutes in 2013, Vatican officials secretly removed Wesolowski from his post as papal nuncio in Santo Domingo so as to avoid criminal prosecution. In September 2014, Weslowski was placed under house arrest at the Vatican in response to popular outrage after reports began to circulate that the accused child rapist was free to wander the streets of Rome. Authorities in both the Dominican Republic and Poland — Wesolowski’s country of origin where he has also been accused of sexually abusing children — wanted him extradicted to face criminal charges.
According to Vatican detectives, some of the horrors found on the former Archbishop’s computer included around 160 videos showing teenage boys forced to perform sexual acts on themselves and on adults, and more than 86,000 pornographic photos methodically archived in several category-based folders. At least another 45,000 pictures were deleted, while even more child pornography was found on a laptop Wesolowski used during his trips abroad.
Wesolowski was charged with sexually abusing minors and child porn possession; if convicted, he would face 12 years in jail. Scheduled for July 11, 2015, his trial was postponed because of an “unexpected illness”. On August 27, 2015, Wesołowski was found dead in his residence from a heart attack. (Wikipedia)
The New York Post reports that on June 22, 2017, Australian police charged Cardinal George Pell — Pope Francis’ chief financial adviser and Australia’s most senior Catholic — with multiple counts of “historical sexual assault offenses,” meaning offenses that generally occurred some time ago. Police gave no other details.
Pell, the highest-ranking Vatican official to ever be charged in the church’s long-running sexual abuse scandal, had also been accused of mishandling cases of clergy abuse when he was archbishop of Melbourne and, later, Sydney. He has denied all abuse allegations.
In late June, 2017, Vatican police raided a cocaine-fueled gay-sex party at the apartment of Monsignor Luigi Capozzi, 49. Capozzi is the secretary of one of Pope Francis’ key advisers and president of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio.
After neighbors complained repeatedly about constant comings and goings of visitors to the building during all hours of the night, Vatican police raided the apartment and found multiple men engaged in rampant drug use and homosexual activity. Police arrested Capozzi, whom Italian media called an “ardent supporter of Pope Francis,” after taking him to a clinic to detox from the cocaine he’d ingested. Capozzi is now on a spiritual retreat in an undisclosed convent in Italy. Despite his arrest, he is still listed as an active staff member on the website of the Pontifical Council for the Interpretation of Legal Texts.
Capozzi, who on his LinkedIn page calls himself an “expert in canon law and dogmatic theology,” managed to evade suspicion from Italian police by using a BMW luxury car with license plates of the Holy See, which made him practically immune to stops and searches. This privilege, usually reserved for high-ranking prelates, allowed the monsignor to transport cocaine for his frequent homosexual orgies without being stopped by the Italian police.
In response to the news of the police raid, Pope Francis decided to “accelerate” the retirement of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio. At age 79, Coccopalmerio is way beyond the age of retirement of 75, but was kept on by Francis. Incredibly, Coccopalmerio had recommended Capozzi for a promotion to bishop, despite Capozzi’s previous alleged drug overdoses.
Coccopalmerio, as President of the Pontifical Council for the Interpretation of Legal Texts, is the Vatican’s top canonical official and one of Pope Francis’ closest collaborators and ardent supporters. Earlier this year, the Vatican’s publishing house released with much fanfare a book by Coccopalmeiro that defended Francis’s Amoris Laetitia, even though it contradicts traditional Catholic teaching. In a 2014 interview with Rossoporpora, Coccopalmerio said that while homosexual relationships are deemed “illicit” by the Church, Catholic leaders, such as himself, must “emphasize” the “positive realities” that he said are present in homosexual relationships:
“But if I see that the two persons truly love each other, do acts of charity to those in need, for example … then I can also say that, although the relationship remains illicit, positive elements also emerge in the two persons. Instead of closing our eyes to such positive realities, I emphasize them.”
In November 2018, a highly-placed Vatican source with direct knowledge, who must remain anonymous for fear of reprisal, tells LifeSite that Pope Francis knows of Coccopalmerio’s presence at the cocaine homosexual “party”.
In March 2017, reports surfaced that Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, in 2007 when he was a diocesan bishop, had commissioned a homosexual artist to paint a gigantic blasphemous homoerotic mural in his cathedral church of the Diocese of Terni-Narni-Amelia in Umbria, central Italy.
The mural that covers the opposite side of the façade of the church portrays Jesus carrying nets to heaven filled with writhing naked and semi-nude homosexuals, transsexuals, prostitutes, and drug dealers. The image of the archbishop himself is depicted among those in the nets.
Not coincidentally, Paglia also defended Pope Francis’ Amoris Laetitia on allowing adulterers and others living in mortal sin receive the Eucharist, which reinforces the suspicion of many that the real intent of Amoris Laetitia ultimately is to legitimate homosexuality.
Meanwhile, the AP reports on February 25, 2017 that, ignoring advice from the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, “Pope Francis has quietly reduced sanctions against a handful of pedophile priests, applying his vision of a merciful church even to its worst offenders in ways that survivors of abuse and the pope’s own advisers question.”
Woe to the shepherds who mislead and scatter the flock of my pasture, says the LORD. Therefore, thus says the LORD . . . against the shepherds who shepherd my people: You have scattered my sheep and driven them away. You have not cared for them, but I will take care to punish your evil deeds.
Jesus, I love You with my whole heart, my whole soul, my whole mind, and with all my strength.
May the peace and love of Jesus Christ our Lord be with you,
On Nov. 2, 2018, Louisiana-based Ruth Institute released a study, Is Catholic clergy sex abuse related to homosexual priests?.
The Ruth Institute was founded in 2008 by Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, an economics-trained author and writer on marriage, family and human sexuality who was the spokesperson for Proposition 8, the California ballot measure defining marriage as a union of one man and one woman which was passed by voters but nixed by an activist judge. Far-left groups including the Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD, and Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) have criticized the Ruth Institute’s stance against same-sex marriage and other LGBT causes. In Aug. 23, 2017, responding to being labeled a “hate group” by SPLC, the Ruth Institute said it “categorically condemns white supremacy, racism, Nazism, and all violent totalitarian political movements. People who cannot defend their positions using reason and evidence resort to name-calling to change the subject away from their anemic arguments. The ‘hate group’ label is a club such people invented to bludgeon their political opponents.”
The study was conducted by Ruth Institute senior research associate Dr./ Rev. D. Paul Sullins — a recently retired Catholic University of America sociology professor who is a leader in the field of research on same-sex parenting and its implications for child development, with four books, including Keeping the Vow: The Untold Story of Married Catholic Priests, and over 100 journal articles, research reports, and essays on issues of family, faith, and culture. He is a former Episcopal priest, married for 30 years with three children, who was ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 2002. He is Associate Pastor of the Church of Saint Mark the Evangelist, Hyattsville, MD.
The study addresses a common question: Is the sex abuse related in any way to homosexual men in the priesthood? It has been reviewed by several scholars, including four social scientists, and will be included in an upcoming book.
For his study, Dr. Sullins employed data from the following sources to compute correlations:
A 2002 survey of 1,854 priests by the Los Angeles Times that included questions about respondents’ sexual orientation, age, year of ordination, and whether they thought there was a homosexual subculture in their seminary.
The John Jay College of Criminal Justice reports in 2002, 2004 and 2011, which themselves used reports of abuse provided by Catholic dioceses.
(1)Catholic clergy mainly prey on boys:Whereas two-thirds of victims in U.S. sex abuse of minors are girls, the vast majority of clergy sex abuse victims — over 8 in 10 victims — were boys. As girls became more prevalent as altar servers, abusers of boys “responded to the presence of fewer younger boys primarily by turning to older boys, not to female victims.” Comparable reports in Germany indicate that up to 90% of abuse victims of Catholic clergy have been male, compared to about half of victims in Protestant or non-religious settings in that country.
(2) By comparing the share of homosexual Catholic priests with the incidence and victim gender of minor sex abuse victims by Catholic priests from 1950 to 2001, the study found a strong correlation between sexual abuse of minors andtwo factors:
(a) A disproportionate number of homosexual clergy:
The study found that the increase in the number of homosexual men in the priesthood is “almost perfectly” correlated with more overall abuse and more boys abused compared to girls. The correlation is 0.98, where a correlation of 1.0 is an absolute positive correlation. That means that the number of child victims increased at almost the same rate as the percentage of homosexual priests — the greater the percentage of homosexual priests, the greater the number of child, mainly male, victims. While the correlation was lower among victims under age 8, it was still strong, at 0.77. Researchers usually consider correlation association above 0.3 or 0.4 to be a strong effect.
However, in Sullins’ words, “Although over 8 in 10 of victims have been boys, the idea that the abuse is related to homosexual men in the priesthood has not been widely accepted by Church leaders.”
It is not the simple presence of homosexual men in the priesthood that is the correlative factor. Sullins said in a press conference on November 2 that “when homosexual men were represented in the priesthood at about the same rate as they were in the population, there was no measurable problem of child sex abuse. It was only when you had a preponderance of homosexual men.”
The percentage of homosexual men in the general population is estimated at 2%. Beginning in the 1950s, the percentage of homosexuals in the priesthood increased from 4% to 16% by the 1980s, eight times the percentage in the general population. From 1965 to 1995 an average of at least one in five priests ordained annually were homosexual, a concentration which drove the overall proportion of homosexual men in the priesthood up to 16%, or one in six priests, by the late 1990s. Dr. Sullins said, “When you get up to 16% of priests that are homosexual, and you’ve got eight times the proportion of homosexuals as you do in the general population, it’s as if the priesthood becomes a particularly welcoming and enabling and encouraging population for homosexual activity and behavior.”
If the proportion of homosexual priests had remained at the 1950s level, at least 12,000 fewer children, mostly boys, would have suffered abuse.
(b) A homosexual subculture in seminaries:
The presence of homosexual subcultures in seminaries, as reported by priests considering their own seminary life, accounts for about half the incidence of abuse, but not among heterosexual men. Sullins said that homosexual subcultures encourage those who may have been attracted to male victims to act out more than would have been the case otherwise. Seminary candidates have reported about the problems this disproportion creates. Donald Cozzens’ 2000 book, The Changing Face of the Priesthood, has accounts of homosexual students being so prevalent at some seminaries that heterosexual men felt destabilized and disoriented and left.
What all this suggests is that as the number and percentage of homosexual priests and seminarians increased disproportionate to their “natural” incidence in the general population, they become increasingly emboldened to act out pedophile impulses that would otherwise be suppressed or constrained if homosexual priests were fewer.
(3) Clergy sex abuse has declined since the late 1980s, but not because of measures taken by U.S. bishops. While sex abuse by clergy today is “much lower” — by about one third — than 30 years ago, it has not declined “as much as is commonly thought.” Most of the decline since the 1990s is consistent with “a similar general decline in child sex abuse in America since that time,” and is unrelated to the implementation of the U.S. bishops’ 2002 Charter for the Protection of Children and Young Adults.
(4)More alarming still is that after years in decline, Catholic clergy sex abuse is on the rise again. Dr. Sullins said:
“The thing we’ve been told about the sex abuse is that it is somehow very rare and declined to almost nothing today is really not true. I found that clergy sex abuse did drop to almost nothing after 2002, but then it started to creep up. It’s been increasing. And there are signs that the bishops or the dioceses have gotten complacent about that. It’s not at the great heights that it was in the mid-1970s, but it’s rising. And it’s headed in that direction.”
Under Pope Benedict XVI, the Vatican issued a document which says: “the Church, while profoundly respecting the persons in question, cannot admit to the seminary or to holy orders those who practice homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called ‘gay culture’.”
But Dr. Sullins eschews recommending the removal of all homosexuals from the priesthood because he maintains the abuse is not necessarily related to someone’s sexual orientation, citing his knowledge of men with same-sex attraction who are “strong, faithful persons.” What he recommends is a decrease in the number of homosexual priests to reflect their incidence in the general population. This would mean priests are selected for “holiness and commitment to Christ and the things that we would hope would make for a good priest. When you start to get a larger proportion of homosexuals It looks like you are actually selecting for same-sex orientation.”
Within the church, some authorities insist the clergy abuse scandal can be traced to a single source: homosexuality.
“The deeper problem,” wrote Janet Smith, a professor of moral theology at Detroit’s Sacred Heart Major Seminary, “lies in homosexual networks within the clergy which must be eradicated.”
These cabals, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò wrote in a letter critical of Pope Francis, “act under the concealment of secrecy and lies with the power of octopus tentacles, and strangle innocent victims and priestly vocations, and are strangling the entire Church.”
A new group, Concerned Catholics of San Diego, makes a similar argument.
“There are a lot of Catholics who are concerned about a homosexual agenda in the church,” said Daniel Piedra, 33, a Concerned Catholics leader. “The group advocates that people who have deep-seated homosexual desires or tendencies should not be allowed to be priests.”
Meanwhile, more than 130 US bishops — or nearly one-third of those still living — have been accused during their careers of failing to adequately respond to sexual misconduct in their dioceses, according to a Boston Globe and Philadelphia Inquirerexamination of court records, media reports, and interviews with church officials, victims, and attorneys.
No wonder the clergy sex abuse of minors is on the rise again.
Today is Halloween — a “festival” that years ago became something very different from the Halloween FOTM‘s readers remember from childhood, not that Halloween had ever been innocent.
Halloween has become America’s most popular and “celebrated” holiday, as indicated in the outside decorations of homes. In my neighborhood and city, Halloween decorations far outnumber Christmas decorations — a sad commentary on how much Americans have fallen.
I find Halloween repugnant.
The least of the reasons why I find this day repellent is because Halloween has become yet another occasion for wasteful, pointless “spend, spend, spend” consumerism — on candies (that rot kids’ teeth), costumes, masks, and truly sick Halloween theme parks like this one:
End of the American Dream blogger Michael Snyder writes that he no longer celebrates Halloween because —
“it is a wretched, horrible holiday that celebrates the darkest side of humanity, and it is deeply rooted in ancient pagan traditions that would get people thrown in prison if they attempted to duplicate them today. With each passing year, the sexually suggestive costumes being marketed to our young girls become even skankier, the horror movies become darker and even more demonic, and the number of Americans that participate in occult ceremonies just continues to grow. In fact, it has been estimated that the number of self-identified witches in the United States is doubling every 30 months. Those that are deeply into the occult take this holiday very seriously, and the dark forces that they are dealing with are very real. So no, I don’t want anything to do with this festival of death.”
Below are Snyder’s 18 reasons why he doesn’t celebrate Halloween, followed by reason #19, an account by a former Satanist.
1. Halloween celebrates death, witchcraft and the occult, all of which can open up a door for demonic activity.
2. In 2015, the average American spent $74.34 on Halloween, money that many don’t have to waste.
3. Millions of women use Halloween as an excuse to dress like street walkers, and millions of men use Halloween as an excuse to act like sexual predators.
Note: No wonder the number of self-identified witches has skyrocketed in recent years, from 8,000 in 1990 to 340,000 in 2008, a year that also found roughly 340,000 self-described Pagans. Currently, nearly one million Americans identify themselves as Wiccans or Pagans. (See “Thousands of witches to put a hex on Justice Kavanaugh, Oct. 20”)
7. In ancient Britain, the festival known as Samhain was celebrated on October 31 — a day when dead souls are believed to revisit their old homes. Personally, I don’t want anything to do with contacting the souls of the dead.
8. According to the History Channel, Samhain was also the day when the Druids “gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities,” which should be anathema to Christians.
9. Samhain/Halloween is a high day for wiccans. Did you know that Wicca is the fastest growing religion in America? According to the American Religious Identification Survey, the number of self-identified Wiccans in the United States grew from 8,000 in 1990 to 134,000 in 2001 to 342,000 in 2008. According to The New York Post, some experts have estimated that the number of witches in the U.S. is doubling every 30 months, and that there may now be “8 million undeclared practitioners” of “the craft” in this country. At this rate, Wicca will soon become the third largest “religion” in America after Christianity and Islam.
10. Wiccans believe Halloween is the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest, and that on this day their god “dies” and is reborn every year on the Winter Solstice, which will be December 22 this year.
11. For the ancient Druids, the purpose of Samhain or Halloween was to ensure the return of the sun god, with human and animal sacrifices.According to occult expert Bill Schnoebelen:
Druids worshiped the sun god, called by names like Bel (Ba’al?) or Chrom. On October 31, they believed that he died and went into the kingdom of the dead, Anwynn. The purpose of Samhain was to insure his return. Even witches admit this involved human sacrifice.
Both animal and human blood were believed to be needed to resurrect Bel on Samhain. Human blood was believed to open the gates of Anwynn and released the spirits for a night. Thus, October 31 came to be associated with ghosts. This is not just history. Samhain is still celebrated by Pagans and is the most solemn ceremony on their “religious calendar”.
12. To this day, animal torture and sacrifice are practiced on Halloween by occultists. Many animal shelters will not adopt out black cats during the month of October for this very reason.
13. The pagan holiday of Samhain was co-opted by Pope Gregory the First in 601 A.D. in an effort to “christianize” existing pagan holiday and practices, rather than try to obliterate them. Thus, Samhain became All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween.
14. The tradition of “trick-or-treating” in costumes and masks is also one of those existing pagantraditions that was later “Christianized”. The ancient Druids believed that Halloween was a night when mischievous and evil spirits roamed freely and could play tricks on the living. To allay them, villagers would pacify the ghosts with a banquet-laden table. At the end of the feast, masked and costumed villagers would parade to the outskirts of town leading the ghosts away. The masks and costumes were to scare away the ghosts or to keep from being recognized by them.
15. The tradition of carving out a “Jack-O-Lantern” also comes from paganism. According to wicca.com, turnips were hollowed out and carved to look like protective spirits, for this was a night of magic and chaos when the Wee Folke became very active, pulling pranks on unsuspecting humans. Traveling after dark was not advised. Bill Schnoebelen explains that pumpkins eventually replaced turnips, but the meaning remained the same:
Here it’s a pumpkin, but in Europe it was often a turnip, or a skull with a candle in it. This serves two symbols, 1) the lord of the Dead, a “god” just like a Buddha – in short, an idol. 2) The fearsome face represented the god, Samhain, who would drive off less powerful demons that night. The lights in the Jack-o-Lantern symbolize the “faery fires” or “Will’o the Wisps” which were believed to be the lost souls flitting through the night. They also hearken back to the huge Samhain “balefires” which were lit to help conjure back the god from the darkness.
16. On all Satanic “holy” (a oxymoron!) days, including Halloween, children are ritually abused. This has been documented repeatedly, and yet most people (including most Christians) don’t want to hear about it.
17. For Satanists, Halloween is one of the most important celebrations of the year.On page 96 of the Satanic Bible, Anton LaVey wrote that “After one’s own birthday, the two major Satanic holidays are Walpurgisnacht (May 1st) and Halloween.”
18. The Scriptures command us in no uncertain terms to refrain from paganism and witchcraft.Deuteronomy 18:9-13 says: “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults with the dead.Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord”. Halloween, however, as explained above, was and is a pagan festival, as well as a major Satanic holiday.
19. A former satanist named David Arias said “it’s no coincidence” that his descent into occultism began with attending a rock concert on Halloween when he was 18 years old:
That beginning led to “underground parties” in empty warehouses. There was rock music, drugs and secret rituals in “special places” of the warehouse. The organizers downplayed the rituals, trying to make them seem normal, but they were actually Satanic. Evil was being invited into the bodies and souls of the unsuspecting partiers.
Through these parties I got deeper into the dark world of Satanism. I learned that Satan wants to be like God, so he requires sacrifices to be offered to him. The most basic and common sacrifices were of animals. I participated in these and other evil rituals for almost four years, but I could not bring myself to kill a human being, which is required to make it to the highest . . . level of Satanism.
The easiest way to kill someone is through abortion because the baby has no defense. You can kill babies anytime you want in this country, as long as they’re still inside the womb. We had an abortionist in our group who knew exactly what abortion was about: sacrificing innocent lives to Satan. Abortion is an anti-sacrament.
Arias, who became a Catholic convert, warns about Halloween:
This is a special day for darkness, and it shouldn’t be treated as a game, like I did. It is a demonic celebration used as a tool to gain souls for hell….
People make their homes look like haunted cemeteries.… This invites evil spirits inside. It’s really simple: If you want to attract evil, you put up depictions of evil. If you want to attract good, you put up depictions of good.
Arias urges that Christians, instead of celebrating the satanic pagan high day of Halloween, “read the Bible; teach your children about the Church; donate something to the poor.”
. . . for the 185th world-famous FOTM Caption Contest!
This was a distasteful contest, as I doubt the contestants took any pleasure in submitting their captions.
There were many, truly-brilliant captions. Alas, the writers of FOTM are obliged to vote for what each considers to be the best (#1) and second-best (#2) captions. Each #1 vote is worth 4 points; a #2 vote is worth 2 points.
And the winner of the 185th FOTM Caption Contest, with three #1 votes, totaling 12 points, is . . .
Here’s the winning caption:
OK, so we’re all in agreement….we’ll simply lower the age of adulthood to anyone over 9 years old.
Mad Celt is in 2nd place, with two #1 votes, totaling 8 points. Here’s the caption:
“No, Cardinal. Little boys pants half off refers to a sale.”
Captain America and Jurist are in 3rd place, each with one #1 vote and one #2 vote, totaling 6 points each. Here are their captions:
Captain America: “Good idea Brother Pedolpho! We will throw a few low-level Bishops from some shit-hole country under the bus. Then it’s business as usual.”
Jurist: “Is this camera angle safe? Nobody can see the little boys under the table, right?”
Alma, T. R. Bucaro, wandafish and Watertender are in 4th place, each with one #1 vote and 2 points. Here are their captions:
Alma: “The Lucifer Synod on ‘How best to defile Jesus and His Church,’ presided by Evil Frankie and the seven insidious Cassocks.”
