JC Penney in death spiral from gay-pandering: 138 stores to close by end of April

In 2012, J. C. Penney’s CEO Ronald B. Johnson had the brilliant idea to improve the century-old family store by pandering to homosexuals — a move that, in a time of the decline of brick-and-mortar stores, isn’t smart on the grounds of simple market calculation because homosexuals make up only 2-3% of the U.S. population (see “Something is rotten at J C Penney”):

  • In February 2012, J. C. Penney chose public lesbian Ellen DeGeneres to be the company’s spokesman.
  • In May, the company featured a lesbian couple in its Mother’s Day promotion.
  • In June, the company released a Father’s Day ad depicting two gay men and their children.

Ronald Johnson

Johnson was said “to have a disdain for JC Penney’s traditional customer base.” While head of J. C. Penney, he continued to live in California and commuted to work in Plano, Texas by private jet several days a week. (Wikipedia)

Johnson’s gay-pandering alienated many Christians who, quietly and without fanfare, began boycotting the department store. (I have not stepped foot into a JC Penney since.)

The boycott in turn led to a precipitous drop in the company’s stock performance by as much as -51% from February 2012 till April 2013, when the company fired Johnson, after only 17 months on the job, and apologized to its customers for having made “changes” that they didn’t like.

JC Penney never recovered from the gay-pandering debacle, as seen in this Morning Star graph of the company’s stock performance since 2012 (dark blue line):

On February 24, 2017 in a press release, J.C. Penney Company, Inc. announced it will close two distribution facilities and 138 stores over the next few months, in “a plan to optimize its national retail operations as part of the Company’s successful return to profitability.”

Click here for a list of stores that are slated to close. Most affected stores will begin the liquidation process on April 17.

Rotten CEOs like Ronald Johnson, who no doubt left JC Penney with a “golden parachute,” never pay for their mistakes. Instead, it’s the low-level employees who pay for the CEOs’ mistakes by losing their already low-paying jobs.

Actor Tim Allen likens Hollywood to Nazi Germany

Allen, 63, best known for Home Improvement, currently plays an outspoken conservative on the sitcom Last Man Standing. He is also one of the few actors in Hollywood to profess having conservative leanings.

On last Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, March 16, 2017, Allen spoke the truth when he likens Hollywood’s oppressive lock-step political liberalism to Germany in the 1930s when the chaotic Weimar Republic gave birth to Hitler and totalitarian Nazi Germany.

Here’s a transcript of what Allen said, beginning around the 4:01 mark:

Kimmel: “You went to the presidential inauguration?”

Allen: “I was invited by, uh, we did a VIP thing for the vets and went to the Veterans Ball. I went to go see the Democrats, Republicans. Yeah, I went to the inauguration. I mean you gotta be real careful around here. You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody else believes. This is like ’30s Germany [makes quotations marks with his fingers] — ‘If you’re not part of the group, you know what we believe is right.'”

Allen then talked about how he wouldn’t take his children to see the Gay Pride Parade because of naked men on floats, and about surveillance America, where government and corporations spy on us via our cell phones, and Google Map takes pictures of our homes.

Unlike so many empty bubble-headed Hollyweirdos, Tim Allen is knowledgeable and politically savvy. One of the good guys!

Homosexual director of ‘Beauty and Beast’ wants to rip the Bible to pieces

I have published two posts warning about Disney’s new flick, Beauty and the Beast, that:

Now we know why.

Beauty and the Beast‘s director Bill Condon, 61, born in New York City and raised in an Irish Catholic family, is openly homosexual and has a visceral hatred for Christianity.

Pete Baklinski reports for LifeSiteNews, March 17, 2017, that in a 2007 interview with Passport Magazine, Bill Condon said he wishes he could “rip pages out of the Bible” when he stays in hotel rooms.

When asked what the first thing he does when he gets into a hotel room, Condon replied:

“I wish I could say I’m like [homosexual actor] Ian McKellen and immediately go rip pages out of the Bible, but there don’t seem to be bibles in the hotel rooms I stay in these days.”

According to a report by The Charlotte Observer’s Lawrence Toppman, there are two homosexual moments in the film:

  1. The first comes when “a young man whirls into the surprised Le Fou’s arms, and they dance happily away together”.
  2. Later in the dance, Le Fou “spins across the room and lands on the reclining Gaston’s lap, wrapping Gaston’s arms around him.”

Neither scene is found in the original Beauty and the Beast story, nor are they essential or add to the plot. Which makes Disney’s new movie a FAKE Beauty and the Beast!

Condon said in a March 1 interview with Attitude:

“Le Fou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston. He’s confused about what he wants. It’s somebody who’s just realising that he has these feelings. And [actor] Josh makes something really subtle and delicious out of it. And that’s what has its payoff at the end, which I don’t want to give away. But it is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie.”

So committed and insistent is Disney on the homosexual message in Beauty and the Beast that the studio would rather swallow the loss of box office revenue in Malaysia than cut out the pro-“gay” scenes, as requested by the Malay government.

Beauty and the Beast is being boycotted by Christian and Conservative groups:

  • A petition to boycott the film created by LifeSiteNews has been signed by 131,000 people. The petition to Disney states: “Children’s movies are no place for promoting a harmful sexual political agenda, one that offends the deeply held beliefs of countless parents and families. I pledge to boycott both the Beauty and the Beast movie, and other Disney films and products, until such a time as Disney commits itself to protecting, not harming, the innocence of our children.”
  • The American Family Association has 51,000 petition signers saying they “can’t support Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ movie” because it pushes the “gay agenda on our children. Homosexual behavior is unhealthy and unnatural. It is irresponsible and careless of Disney to promote such an agenda in a movie designed and marketed to children.”
  • Colorado Christian University created a petition to Disney CEO Rober Allen Iger where “Christian Americans” pledge to “not allow our children or grandchildren to be subjected to your radical Left-wing agenda through your latest rendition of Beauty and the Beast. We will not allow you to bully us into going against our Biblically-based beliefs in natural marriage, and we will certainly not let you circumvent us as leaders of our families to force these beliefs on the impressionable young minds of our children.”
  • On March 2, evangelist Franklin Graham wrote his 5.5 million Facebook followers asking them to “say no” to Disney’s remake. “They’re trying to push the LGBT agenda into the hearts and minds of your children—watch out! Disney has the right to make their [shows], it’s a free country. But as Christians we also have the right not to support their company. I hope Christians everywhere will say no to Disney.”
  • Earlier this month Christian owners of an Alabama drive-in theater said they would refuse to show the film because it would “compromise on what the Bible teaches.”
  • Russia slapped a  16+ rating on the film, effectively banning children from seeing it.

Alas, the boycotts evidently are in vain. The movie had a record $170 million opening in the U.S. this weekend, earning $350 million worldwide. (Hollywood Reporter)

Trump Derangement Syndrome will continue: ACLU launches nationwide training on protest and resistance

Gee…I wonder who is financing this?

From ABC News: The American Civil Liberties Union staged a nationwide training event Saturday to make sure people are aware of their rights as protesters and urge organized, public resistance by those opposed to policies of President Donald Trump.

Organizers said the event at a sports arena on the University of Miami campus was livestreamed to locations in all 50 states. ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero said 200,000 people had signed up to attend one of an estimated 2,000 local events.

The event, staged in town hall style, was aimed at capitalizing on numerous demonstrations since Trump’s election in November and to make sure people know their rights to protest, Romero said. He said priority issues are immigration, the First Amendment free speech and religious freedom rights, civil and reproductive rights and rights of gay, lesbian and transgender people.

“We will bring all the lawsuits necessary to defend these rights,” Romero said. “We’ll do the work in the courts. You do the work in the streets. People are motivated. They want to be engaged.”

The ACLU also launched a new grassroots online organizing platform called It’s billed as a way for people considering a local protest or rally to connect and coordinate with others around the country with similar intentions, and to provide details of ACLU initiatives.

Another plan is creation of “freedom cities” around the country that would encourage local officials to pass laws resisting Trump policies such as stepped-up deportations of people living in the country illegally, said Faiz Shakir, ACLU national political director.

Other parts of Saturday’s event detailed the rules for demonstrations on streets, sidewalks and in public parks, and the rights people have when arrested such as the right to remain silent. ACLU attorney Lee Rowland said large demonstrations generally require a local permit, but government can’t typically shut down protesters in public places without good reason. “The government can’t censor you just because it disagrees with your opinion,” Rowland said.

Also speaking at the event was Padma Lakshmi, an Indian-born cookbook author, actress, model and television host. She said she emigrated to the U.S. at age four and said the nation appears to be retreating from its welcoming ways. “Lately I’ve started to feel like an outsider,” she said. “What makes America great is our culture of inclusion. We must not tolerate the intolerance.

Judge Awards ‘Tri-Custody’ to Couple and Woman They Had Relationship With

positive home

Try and follow along:

  • Wife and husband enter into agreement with another woman (whom they have an open relationship with) to bear a child for them
  • All three would raise the child together
  • Wife leaves husband to be with the woman who carried their child
  • Divorce ensues
  • Judge chastises husband for having a child with his wife’s “best friend”
  • Son recognizes two women as his mothers
  • Predicted ending: Child ends up in therapy…

From Yahoo: A bizarre case in New York culminated into what might be the first such case of a man, woman, and mother of a child being awarded a so-called tri-custody ruling. Michael Marano, the father in this case, and his ex-wife, Dawn Marano, entered into an open relationship with a neighbor, who bore Marano’s son in 2007.

According to the New York Post’s examination of the case, Mr. Marano and his wife were unable to bear children, so they agreed to enter an arrangement with neighbor Audria Garcia, all living in Long Island. The Maranos, who married in 1994, entered into their partnership with Garcia in 2001 while she lived below them.

Suffolk County Supreme Court Judge H. Patrick Leis III ruled in this case, stating to the court that “No one told these three people to create this unique relationship.” Judge Leis’s ruling went into the history of the relationship, which took place after Garcia left a boyfriend, who lived in the same complex when the “intimate relations” with the couple began.

Judge Leis’s ruling revealed that the couple and Garcia agreed to have the boy, born Jan. 25, 2007, and would raise him together. At first, the relationship seemed to be in sync, with everyone caring for the child, but things took a turn when Mrs. Marano left her husband to be with Garcia exclusively around the time their son turned 18 months. The new couple picked up and moved to Central Islip, N.Y., in 2008.

Mr. Marano sued Garcia for custody of their son. Mrs. Marano sued her husband for divorce. Joint custody was granted between Mr. Marano and Garcia, but Mrs. Marano, who developed a relationship with the son, didn’t have a legal right to custody.

The court reports that Mrs. Marano, who shares a home with Garcia, filed a suit for custody rights to the son. The case went to trial, which ended on March 8 with Judge Leis slamming Mr. Marano for having a child with “his wife’s best friend.”

Judge Leis says the son recognizing both Garcia and Mrs. Marano as mothers swayed him to deliver the ruling. There have been other tri-parenting cases but none to the level of the Maranos and Garcia.

Similar cases in recent past

In 2016, a high-profile matter involving a gay married couple in New Jersey and their friend made headlines. One of the husbands donated sperm and the other gave their daughter his last name. For a while, the partnership was harmonious until the mother got into a relationship with a man who wanted to move the woman and her daughter to California.

The couple protested the move and the nonbiological father took the case to New Jersey courts. While the court agreed that the man (named Shawn in the court documents) had a true bond with their daughter, the New Jersey Parentage Act would only view the proper parent as biological or adoptive. However, as a “psychological parent,” the nonbiological father could still fight for custody. The court sided with the couple and barred the move to California.

A few states do allow children to have more than two parents. California passed a bill in 2013 allowing the parenting arrangement to stand if a child has two mothers and a father. Alaska, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Oregon, and Washington all recognize third-parent adoptions in special cases. In Washington, D.C., and Delaware, sperm or egg donors can be recognized as parents legally. The exact number of three-parent adoptions allowed isn’t known because of privacy concerns.

Cynthia Nixon is ‘afraid for us all’ with Trump as president

cynthia nixon

Cynthia Nixon: Feeling the pressure or something…

The womyn actress can’t even articulate exactly what is causing her fear. She must be lost without a script.

From NY Post: Cynthia Nixon says she’s “scared for her daughter” under a Donald Trump government. The “Sex and The City” actress celebrated International Women’s Day by attending a benefit for Afghan Hands, which supports careers for women in Kabul.

But Nixon, who has joined protests against President Trump, said: “Being a female . . . I do feel added pressure. Because I feel like when you have a benevolent presence in the White House, it is one thing, and you take a lot of stuff for granted. But when you have Donald Trump in the White House, you have no choice but to step up.

She added, “I am not just afraid for my daughter’s future, I am afraid for us all. I am not afraid [what will happen] four years from now, I am scared for next month.

But Nixon further said at the Gabriel & Co. event that there’s an “upside” to the new administration. “People are really coming out . . . all around the world,” she said. “It is amazing and very inspiring. You wouldn’t think it would matter, but it matters what we see people doing, saying and protesting on TV.”

American Idol contestant reveals she ‘chose to be heterosexual’ after being gay for two years following accusations of homophobia

la porsha renaeI guarantee you that proggies are tearing La Porsha apart on Twitter for her choice. Her choice does not fit the LGBT narrative.

From Daily Mail: American Idol loser La’Porsha Renae has revealed she chose heterosexuality after two years living as gay. The 23-year-old shared the information after being accused of homophobia on social media.

She claimed on Twitter that she decided to turn her back on the world of lesbianism after decided to be ‘true to her spirit.’

Soul singer La’Porsha said: ‘She said: ‘I chose to be heterosexual after being homosexual for 2 years. I chose a belief system that felt TRUE to my spirit. #TRUTH.’

And when another user told her that she could not have been really gay during those two years she fired back yet again. La’Porsha said: ‘Lol now who’s judging? U haven’t walked in my shoes, so don’t try to diagnose me…it’s not your place 2 tell me what I was/wasn’t.’

The whole affair began after the singer, who was runner up in the final season of American Idol, was accused of being homophobic by some of her followers. She responded: ‘Phobia is a fear. I’m not afraid of homosexuals, nor do I hate them. I respect and love EVERYONE.’

And when another told her that she was wrong people can choose homosexuality as she watched her ‘brother grow up gay he was born that way,’ she decided to bring her own experiences to bear on the debate.

She said: ‘You’re wrong to think it’s not a choice for some….because it was for me. #Truth.

”And the bigger picture of my statement was that homosexuals should be loved and respected, not dehumanized…not whether/not it was a choice.’
