From Daily Mail: CNN host Chris Cuomo’s ratings have plunged 49 percent in the two months since he announced he’d contracted coronavirus, data from Nielsen Media Research shows.
Since the week of March 30, Cuomo has dropped from first in his 9pm time slot among cable news hosts to bottom of the barrel, last week averaging just 440,000 daily viewers in the age demographic prized by advertisers.
Cuomo’s stunning ratings nosedive came after interviews with his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, in lighthearted segments that were widely panned as ratings stunts amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Though all cable news saw something of a drop-off in viewership in May, as viewers seemingly grew weary of the pandemic coverage, Chris Cuomo’s decline was sharper than his time slot competitors, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Fox News’ Sean Hannity.
A spokesperson for Chris Cuomo declined to comment when reached by DailyMail.com.
However, a source close to the anchor pointed out that cable news ratings rise and fall dramatically depending on what’s happening in the news cycle. The person argued that weekly averages don’t provide an accurate picture of viewership.
Chris Cuomo’s ratings peak came the week of March 30 when he announced that he had tested positive for coronavirus and was isolating in his basement, beating out Maddow and Hannity with 862,000 daily viewers in the 25-54 age demographic.
Since then, his ratings have dropped 49 percent in the demo and 35 percent overall, while Maddow is down 17 percent in the demo and 7 percent overall. Hannity has dropped 38 percent in the demo and 12 percent overall.
Last week, Chris Cuomo dropped below Maddow in the demo for the first time since March 2. Maddow had 498,000 daily average viewers in the demo and Chris Cuomo had 355,000. Hannity has beaten Chris Cuomo since the week of April 6. Last week, Hannity garnered 4.7 total viewers and 589,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
There are some who maintain that our puppeteers, aka The Powers That Be (TPTB), engage in “predictive programming” of the masses. According to one definition:
Predictive programming is a subtle form of psychological conditioning provided by the media to acquaint the public with planned societal changes to be implemented by TPTB.
If and when these changes are put through, the public will already be familiarized with them and will accept them as ‘natural progressions’, as Alan Watt (*) calls it; thus lessening any possible public resistance and commotion.
Predictive programming therefore may be considered as a veiled form of preemptive mass manipulation or mind control, courtesy of our puppet masters.
If you go to this link, you’ll find some examples of predictive programming in movies. Below are links to FOTM posts on predictive programming:
The COVID-19 Wuhan virus pandemic also has foreshadowings.
(1) 2003 TV Show “Dead Zone”
Eerily, the “Dead Zone” TV show from 2003 was about a “mysterious flu virus” that “originated from China” which causes high fever and respiratory distress, and talks about quarantine/lockdown, wearing protective masks, and the anti-malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine as the cure. That’s way too many “coincidences” for my taste.
(2) 2012 EU Comic Book
Then there is that 2012 European Union (EU) comic book on a virus pandemic and lockdown.
Steve Watson of Summit News alerts us to the “strange” comic book that “eerily predicted almost exactly what has unfolded with the Covid-19 global pandemic”. A globalist’s wet dream come true, the book ends with unelected globalist bureaucrats saving the day and the planet.
Authored by J. D. Morvan and Huang Jia Wei, the comic book Infected was a production of the Directorate-General of the European Commission’s International Cooperation and Development, and is described by the EU as: “While the story may be fictional, it is nevertheless intertwined with some factual information.”
Curiously, the graphic novel was not intended for widespread public consumption. Only a few hundred of Infected were published, distributed to institutions within the EU.
Here are the similarities of Infected the comic book and the COVID-19 pademic:
Infected features the transmission of a novel virus from animals to humans in a crowded wet market in China, just as we originally were told the COVID-19 coronavirus had come from bats sold in a wet market in Wuhan, China.
The graphic novel depicts scientists inside a lab in China experimenting with deadly pathogens, just as a U.S. government report (and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as well) says the COVID-19 virus most likely was produced in a lab in Wuhan, which is China’s equivalent of the CDC, and “accidentally” got out.
Infection suggests that air travel would exacerbate the spread of the virus. One character in the graphic novel says: “You’d have headed back to Europe, the US, Latin America, or Australia as planned via an international airport.”
Infection depicts a global health organisation’s failure to act quickly enough to stop a pandemic, just as the World Health Organization (WHO) is criticized for its slow action on COVID-19 and for its bias in favor of China.
As with the COVID-19 pandemic, the EU comic book also depicts draconian safety measures against the virus, including social distancing, which make everyday life “totally unbearable”.
In the comic book, globalists are lauded for helping develop and distribute a vaccine to the world, just as Bill Gates is applauded for funding production of the seven most promising ideas for a COVID-19 vaccine.

Lastly, while not predictive programming, the idea of a social-distancing lockdown originated in a 15-year-old girl’s 2006 high school science project.
As reported by Ollie Reed Jr. for Albuquerque Journal, in 2006, Laura Glass, with some guidance from her dad Robert J. Glass, a complex-systems analyst with Sandia National Laboratories, devised a computer simulation that showed how people – family members, co-workers, students in schools, people in social situations – interact. What she discovered was that school kids came in contact with about 140 people a day, more than any other group. Based on that finding, her computer program showed that in a hypothetical town of 10,000 people, 5,000 would be infected during a pandemic if no measures were taken, but only 500 would be infected if the schools were closed, i.e., locked down.
Robert Glass incorporated his daughter’s lockdown idea in a paper, titled “Targeted Social Distancing Designs for Pandemic Influenza,” for Bush Administration’s Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff for a Cabinet-level tabletop exercise at the White House. The question posed was what could be done to avoid disaster if there was no vaccine and limited antiviral supplies.
Glass’s paper set out a model for forced separation of people in a pandemic, and called for what amounts to a totalitarian lockdown.
Robert Glass told Albuquerque Journal: “I thought, ‘That’s exactly what Laura is working on.’ Her model was right there on the computer. I realized that was something important. I discussed it with her. She said, ‘Why don’t you close the schools?’ I was taking advice from my (high school) daughter.”
What did you think was going to happen when you strip people of their right to earn a livelihood and force them into isolation?
ABC 7 News reported on Thursday that doctors at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek they have seen more deaths by suicide during the stay-at-home order than deaths from the COVID-19 virus. From their report:
“The head of the trauma in the department believes mental health is suffering so much, it is time to end the shelter-in-place order.
“Personally I think it’s time,” said Dr. Mike deBoisblanc. “I think, originally, this (the shelter-in-place order) was put in place to flatten the curve and to make sure hospitals have the resources to take care of COVID patients. We have the current resources to do that and our other community health is suffering.”
The numbers are unprecedented, he said.
“We’ve never seen numbers like this, in such a short period of time,” he said. “I mean we’ve seen a year’s worth of suicide attempts in the last four weeks.”

Almost a year ago I quit shopping at Wal-Mart due to their relationship with China. We now make our grocery purchases from a local employee-owned grocery store.
We use to make monthly trips to the city to do large purchases at a family-owned, Oklahoma grocery chain. That has come to an end, unfortunately, because of the Wuhan virus. I really miss that monthly trip as this store is THE BEST: Extremely WIDE aisles, HUGE grocery carts, good prices, TONS of checkout stations available and they employ people with disabilities to bag your groceries.
The fear of going out to grocery stores and catching the virus combined with the severe restrictions stores have been ordered to implement (only one person per cart, only go one way in the aisle, etc.), many people are now ordering online for delivery or pick up. And they are ordering from those big chain stores that have the resources to implement those options: Walmart, Target and Amazon.
Demorat Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has recognized that many SNAP recipients may want to use their benefits in the same way and will now allow online SNAP purchases (which was approved by the federal government). From his tweets:
“To keep more families safe and healthy, my administration is expanding the ways in which SNAP recipients can acquire groceries to include online purchasing.
The best part is that in addition to helping families shop a little easier and safer during this pandemic, this is a permanent new feature of the SNAP landscape in Illinois that will support our residents for many years to come.”
While I’m all for people having options to make online purchasing, I’m saddened to see that major, big-box corporations will most likely be the primary beneficiaries (Walmart and Amazon have already agreed to be part of the program). Aren’t those the exact type of wealthy companies that demorats claim to despise?
You know the local mom-and-pop stores and locally-owned stores aren’t going to benefit from this new SNAP option nearly as much as Walmart and Amazon. Just a shame that while big boxes thrive, our local small businesses are dying. With the support of our taxpayer dollars.
MyFoxChicago reports that there is a Change.org petition that urges Creepy Joe to support a universal basic income of $2,000/month for U.S. residents because of the devastating effects of the response to the Wuhan virus. As of my scheduling this post, the petition had 240,000 of their goal of 300,000 signatures. From their story:
“Although the CARES Act was able to get $1,200 to taxpayers, millions of people fell through the cracks and still have not received their stimulus check,” the petition read.
Nearly a month after President Donald Trump signed the historic $2.2 trillion CARES Act into law, which saw millions of individual Americans receive one-time $1,200 stimulus payments, Democrats have powered another massive relief bill through the House, breaking the previous record at $3 trillion.
It has no chance of becoming law as written, but sparked difficult negotiations with the White House and Senate Republicans, as many say the first round of relief payments were not enough to combat the devastating economic effects caused by pandemic lockdowns aimed at stopping the spread of the disease.”
“Human Rights Watch released a troubling report about a phone application made by the Chinese government. The app provides law enforcement with easy, daily access to data detailing the religious activity, blood type, and even the amount of electricity used by ethnic minority Muslims living the western province of Xinjiang.“
OSHA going after the salon owner because she opened her business against “orders.”
OSHA deems her an “employer” instead of a business who has independent contractors – which is how many, many salons operate. OSHA didn’t like her answers, so somehow CPS got involved and visited her family. A CPS bureaucrat questioned her son ALONE without a parent or attorney present.
“Dana (@DLoesch) is joined by Lindsey Graham, Owner of Glamour Salon in Salem, OR – who was recently fined $14,000 by OSHA for safely and responsibly opening her salon, and the additional oppressive tactics by CPS (Child Protective Services) getting involved, which is essentially the use of government agencies to bully her and her family. This is just another example of how tiny tyrants are showing themselves, and law abiding citizens end up as victims. None of this should happen in a FREE society! From Fox News: Colorado has made a stunning and significant change to the way it counts COVID-19 deaths that reduced the statewide figure from more than 1,000 to 878, according to a report.
The change came after Colorado’s Department of Public Health admitted that its COVID-19 death toll was counting those who tested positive for the coronavirus but had died of other causes, Fox 31 Denver reported late Friday.
The department now says 1,150 Coloradoans who died had COVID-19 but only 878 of those deaths were “due to” COVID-19.
“We have been reporting at the state, deaths among people who had COVID-19 at the time of death and the cause of that death may or may not have been COVID-19,” Dr. Eric France, the health department’s chief medical officer told the station.
“We started to hear stories about ‘are these correct or are these incorrect?’” France said.

“Only a third of the excess deaths seen in the community in England and Wales can be explained by covid-19, new data have shown.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) data, which cover deaths in hospitals, care homes, private homes, hospices, and elsewhere, show that 6035 people died as a result of suspected or confirmed covid-19 infection in England and Wales in the week ending 1 May 2020 (where deaths were registered up to 9 May), a decline of 2202 from the previous week.
Although the number of deaths in care homes has fallen for the second week in a row, more covid related deaths are being reported in care homes than in hospitals and are tailing off more slowly.
However, David Spiegelhalter, chair of the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication at the University of Cambridge, said that covid-19 did not explain the high number of deaths taking place in the community.
At a briefing hosted by the Science Media Centre on 12 May he explained that, over the past five weeks, care homes and other community settings had had to deal with a “staggering burden” of 30 000 more deaths than would normally be expected, as patients were moved out of hospitals that were anticipating high demand for beds.
Of those 30 000, only 10 000 have had covid-19 specified on the death certificate. While Spiegelhalter acknowledged that some of these “excess deaths” might be the result of underdiagnosis, “the huge number of unexplained extra deaths in homes and care homes is extraordinary. When we look back . . . this rise in non-covid extra deaths outside the hospital is something I hope will be given really severe attention.”
He added that many of these deaths would be among people “who may well have lived longer if they had managed to get to hospital.”
