Can Newt be trusted?

By the way, Newt’s present wife, Callista, is his third wife.
Callista said this about herself to the Christian Broadcasting Network this year: “I have always been a very spiritual person. I start each day with a prayer, and pray throughout the day, because I am grateful for the many blessings that God has bestowed upon us.”
Callista Bisek, then a Congressional staffer, carried on a 6-year adulterous affair with Newt while he was still married to Wife No. 2.

I’m as my dear grandpappy would say in PLAIN LANGUAGE,” Wouldn’t trust Newt Gingrich in a Shithouse with a muzzle on”, he and people like him (Monkeys On Chains) are the very reason that America screwed up. All this politically correct crap is why we can’t speak freely in a supposedly free country. Back when people “told like it is” we didn’t have so many people hiding behind LIES, now EVERYBODY that is in government has to lie to keep their job or so they think! It is time to kick the LIARS OUT. We need REAL MEN in office… Read more »

He’s a politician…can you ever trust them? We know how it works in DC. Backdoor deals & power games is what they play.

…seems like, once again ,Ron Paul speaks with
his actions ,instead of a politicians hyperbole.
Happily and faithfully married to Carol since his
medical school days, before he served his country
in the Air Force….did you know that he never
accepted Medicare/aide payments for his medical
care ,but would instead lower or forgo payment ?

I’m aware of a few exceptions…but ,unfortunately, they are rare. The ones who do maintain the stature of statesmen are marginalized and dismissed with little or no recognition from the party machines which control the flow of money and support….Chicago style.

Don’t crucify me here…I am just going to state what I have HEARD and I have not been able to prove it yet. Others claim they have. Ron Paul is supposedly a 32 degree Mason. I do not trust ANY politician. I have worked for the Constitution Party and it has been allot of work getting them on the ballot in all (LOL 57) 50 states. I happen to know that the Republicans and Democrats are just 2 sides to the SAME coin. I don’t think there is much of a difference in them. After all….BUSH said that they would… Read more »

That’s enough for me! This video says it all. You will know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16 & Abstain from all appearance of evil. I Thessalonians 5:22 and not lastly…but the last one I am going to use is…It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Romans 14:21

Touche.
I was trying to be funny; appears I failed 🙂 In any event, if someone will break a covenant to their spouse, they will do so to strangers. Is this too harsh a judgment? Well, HE’S the one who chose to live his life publicly. In any case, I confess, I am very biased against politicians.

Oh, no, Terry–I was referring to the negative (thumbs-down) I got on my original post…that’s what I meant about trying to be funny (heh, goes to show!). My husband likes(ish) Newt, but he makes me very nervous. I liked Cain, so it goes to show my level of judgment in candidates! This is going to be a LONG primary, and it doesn’t help that I’m not crazy about ANY of the candidates. Hopefully, though, we’ll get someone better than McCain this time around; however, I’ll do like many of my fellow “Republicans”, hold my nose, and vote for whichever GOP… Read more »

Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. If you are looking for a Perfect human being who also has the wherewithal to take back the Republic and lead us in this war of ideologies, we will surely get what the mutant leftists have lined up for us. The racist wing nut Ron Paul will soon die the death of a thousand cuts and Romney will also be invalidated well before November 2012. Said MLs have taken out (early) the only candidate that would have ultimately delivered the death blow to Obama: Herman Cain.… Read more »

Voting for evil is STILL voting for evil. A vote means you support what they stand for. I found the revulsion in Obama that Eo so eloquently stated. I have to continue to pray on the rest. The Lord showed me Obama. I feel the revulsion for McCain and some others. I just don’t think it is going to get better no matter WHO is voted in. I think voting is rigged and secondly and most importantly, I believe that the stage is being set for the rapture. the anti-Christ, the biggest battle that the world has ever known and… Read more »

Whilst I listened to one of the debates, Newt was confronted with this issue of trust. He did not deny it was most important. He also did not deny that he understood why it would come up and that he respected everyone addressing it as to his behavior. He also admitted that he had sinned on national television. He also admitted that he had been to Reconciliation which is the Sacrament of Confession in the Catholic Church, and I have heard him say this on another interview. He admitted that he had sinned in his life, but that he had… Read more »

My beliefs and principles are embodied in Rick Santorum and Michele Bachman. I recognize that the media and the Republican Party choose otherwise. I want an honest government, a fair tax, pro life rulings, conservative family values, fiscal responsibility, secure borders, and actions that uphold the Constitution. I want a representative that has principles. I want someone who believes in the sovereignty of the U.S. and does not work for NWO. I want a Commander in Chief who is willing to defend the US but one who understands the sanctity of every single soldier’s life. I also do not want… Read more »
