POLITICO Breaking News
————————————————-
President Barack Obama announced Friday that the last American troops in Iraq will return home by the end of December, bringing to a close a deployment of nearly nine years and allowing the United States and Iraq to begin “a normal relationship between sovereign nations.”
“Today I can say that our troops in Iraq will definitely be home for the holidays,” Obama said in a statement in the White House press room.

I’m glad we are getting out of Iraq, and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if we got out of Aschanistan, too.
I’m tired of seeing our soldiers get killed due to hideously stupid, PC RoE thought up by desk-driving brass asshats.
Political correctness has no place in war.
I thought we had learned our lesson about that sort of thing during Vietnam.
It appears we didn’t learn squat.

When I read this morning the size of the contracts to Blackwater, et al, it all seemed to fit for me.Veiled spending commitments while using his office as CIC to announce a “vote-getter-for-sure”, another reckless campaign promise to bring the “war” to a halt…irregardless. Of course, America has short-term memory loss and will not recall the reckless promise to Abbas, the one to whom he made his first phone call to in Jan.,2009, regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state. The whole mess: Treddle, mere treddle. (Hey, I just found this word yesterday!!)

In John Chapter 9, it is most clear that Jesus is telling us that suffering and hardship are allowed to occur so that a greater good can come about known to Our Lord. Therefore, we must Trust In Jesus, Our Lord. And we must try to pattern our behavior after Our Lord. In this passage, He cured the blind man because of his immense compassion, mercy and love. We must show that same compassion, mercy and love to those that are suffering. I ask everyone who reads this post to immediately pray for all of the people in Turkey. Remember… Read more »

Then GF, be true to your nature. We cannot know the mind of God to say that God, with his hands clenched rubbing them back and forth, said it is time to payback Turkey, therefore, I will impose upon them a terrible earthquake. If John Chapter 9 is conducive to your true nature, and you have that information as much as Dr. Eowyn does, then listen to Jesus speaking to you. And, Jesus came to fulfill the Old Law, to draw all people unto Himself and ALL OF US ARE HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE! The great missionary Saint, Paul, brought this… Read more »

GF, I thought you were speaking about your true nature insofar as the kindness of Jesus was expressed in John Chapter 9. It is now obvious to me that you have meant something else. I was merely commenting about what you said as to your true nature. Nevertheless, back on the issue that you made about God paying back Turkey via an earthquake. I reiterate everything I said to you before as the message of the Gospel. I also send you my very best wishes and regards, having meant no disrespect to you whatsoever. That is not “in my nature”… Read more »
