  1. Skippy is in full-on campaign mode…

    • You beat me to it DCG Bambi is trying to save his backside for next year’s elections.

    • I fully agree with this, and is doing it in a murderous fashion…no regard for America, those who have given it their all…or the families who live with the consequences of his pathological self-“sin”teredness Truly a Kenyan-authored disregard for life. His devaluing everyone else to promote himself reminds me so much of the temptation of Jesus in Mt.4: “All of these things I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me.” Cardoza was “right on”.

  2. I’m glad we are getting out of Iraq, and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if we got out of Aschanistan, too.
I’m tired of seeing our soldiers get killed due to hideously stupid, PC RoE thought up by desk-driving brass asshats.
Political correctness has no place in war.
I thought we had learned our lesson about that sort of thing during Vietnam.
It appears we didn’t learn squat.

When I read this morning the size of the contracts to Blackwater, et al, it all seemed to fit for me.Veiled spending commitments while using his office as CIC to announce a “vote-getter-for-sure”, another reckless campaign promise to bring the “war” to a halt…irregardless. Of course, America has short-term memory loss and will not recall the reckless promise to Abbas, the one to whom he made his first phone call to in Jan.,2009, regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state. The whole mess: Treddle, mere treddle. (Hey, I just found this word yesterday!!)

British Dialect. I found it in “Webster’s New Twentieth Century Dictionary, Second Edition. Copyrights beginning 1953 until 1983.
I was looking up “trodle” for my granddaughter, Mia, as i had never heard of it and I ran into treddle. You might say that I “stepped in it!” Turns out Mia had misspelled her word from class and, maybe unknowingly, suggested a new hastag for twitter! It certainly does speak pungently of BHMO’s latest foreign relations conflict with Karzai.
And yes, I do have a penchant for new words, in the dictionary or not.

  4. Kabulshit.
    Time to vamoose.
Fork ’em and feed ’em couscous.
Then let Allah sort them out.

    • Dear GF,
You are a loved friend of FOTM, and maybe you’re having a lousy day, but I’m frankly appalled by your comment.
The headline on Drudge says 1,000 are feared dead from that 7.2 Turkey earthquake. Just out of curiosity, if your neck of the woods is struck with a huge earthquake tomorrow, would you also say that it’s God “having his payback”? So you presume to know God’s mind? I don’t!
      John 9:
1As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. 4As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7“Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

  5. Steve – LOL…Last line from Silverstreak? 😉 That movie was so hilarious!
    Oh, I got you all’s ‘Treddle’… LMAO… I may be so inclined to pursue it’s use as well…ya never know…. 🙂

I’m pretty sure that I had only ginger ale in the glass, but, then again, we were having BBQ that evening!

  7. In John Chapter 9, it is most clear that Jesus is telling us that suffering and hardship are allowed to occur so that a greater good can come about known to Our Lord. Therefore, we must Trust In Jesus, Our Lord. And we must try to pattern our behavior after Our Lord. In this passage, He cured the blind man because of his immense compassion, mercy and love. We must show that same compassion, mercy and love to those that are suffering. I ask everyone who reads this post to immediately pray for all of the people in Turkey. Remember what Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, to be aware that when we need to perform corporal or spiritual works of mercy, that we are helping “Jesus in disguise.”
GF, using the premise that God is paying back Turkey for its rotten government and governors so to speak which is why the earthquake occurred, would then motivate the premise that indeed and in fact America should be destroyed by God, since it is allowing the destruction of 4,000 plus innocent babies every day by and through the abomination and mortal sin of abortion on demand. As we are aware, this atrocity has been ongoing for over 20 years!
The greatest evil and crime of all time was committed by murdering Jesus, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, “Deicide.” Nevertheless, in the plan of God, the greatest benefit and goodness was given to us, salvation, by and through this greatest of evils. From the Mass is the wonderful statement, “Dying He destroyed our death; rising he restored our life; Lord, Jesus, come in glory!” We must try, in our own way, to help the people in Turkey. I am certain that there will be a special collection at Mass for them, or you can donate to any appropriate charity that will help them.

  8. Then GF, be true to your nature. We cannot know the mind of God to say that God, with his hands clenched rubbing them back and forth, said it is time to payback Turkey, therefore, I will impose upon them a terrible earthquake. If John Chapter 9 is conducive to your true nature, and you have that information as much as Dr. Eowyn does, then listen to Jesus speaking to you. And, Jesus came to fulfill the Old Law, to draw all people unto Himself and ALL OF US ARE HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE! The great missionary Saint, Paul, brought this message to the world. Please pray for the people of Turkey, for their healing and that the world respond with compassion to their suffering. This is the message of the Gospel!

  9. GF, I thought you were speaking about your true nature insofar as the kindness of Jesus was expressed in John Chapter 9. It is now obvious to me that you have meant something else. I was merely commenting about what you said as to your true nature. Nevertheless, back on the issue that you made about God paying back Turkey via an earthquake. I reiterate everything I said to you before as the message of the Gospel. I also send you my very best wishes and regards, having meant no disrespect to you whatsoever. That is not “in my nature” dear GF.

  10. Thank you GF! You are also dearly loved, especially by Our Lord, Jesus. I tell Him numerous times a day how much I love Him!
