Last Monday night, on the Jimmy Kimmel late-night show, Honey Boo Boo endorsed Obama for a second term to continue his record of failure in his first term.

Honey Boo Boo and her family: Bottom L to R: Alana (Honey Boo Boo), June (Momma).

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a reality television program on TLC that features child beauty pageant participant Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo), along with her mother June Shannon, father Mike Thompson and her three older sisters. The show is mostly filmed in and around the family’s hometown in rural McIntyre, Georgia.

A reviewer for Forbes criticized TLC as portraying Honey Boo Boo’s family as a horde of lice-picking, lard-eating, nose-thumbing hooligans south of the Mason–Dixon line.”

The Hollywood Reporter pronounced the show “horrifying,” explaining, “You know this show is exploitation. TLC knows it. Maybe even Mama and HBB know it, deep down in their rotund bodies. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a car crash, and everybody rubber-necks at a car crash, right? It’s human nature. Yes, except that … You can say no to visual exploitation. You can say no to TLC. And you can say no to Honey Boo Boo Child. Somebody has to.”

  1. I’ve never watched it, nor will I. I knew from watching a few of the pageant shows that Honey Boo Boo was an ill behaved brat and after seeing her parents it was understandable. I am not entertained by train wrecks. That’s why I don’t watch Jerry Springer or the Bad Girls Club either.

  2. Honey won’t like “Marak” after he comes to get her “fair share” of taxes since I am sure he has heard they just got a raise. More Obamaphones for all!!

  3. I watched 5 minutes of this show and regretted it. It is pure insanity. I couldn’t even understand what these people were saying or why anyone in the world would care. It’s just the purest form of garbage.

    • Would you believe more people watched this moronic show than the first presidential debate? I saw that somewhere the morning after the debate but just couldn’t bring myself to post it.

    • 🙁

      • Waste of airtime that could’ve been much more profitably and entertaining filled by WWE pro-wrestling openly admitting it’s fixed.

    • I agree–the fact that this show can get the viewers it does is a pretty sorry reflection on our society!
Another example of the garbage the broadcasting industry feeds us, and the “livestock” willingly graze on it.
They’re working at “dumbing and numbing” us!

  4. Wretched.
