Boy saved from decapitation by sky full of Angels

Josiah Lamb
On a Fourth of July weekend, 12-year-old Josiah Lamb was driving a jet ski. He was gunning it, whipping the jet ski around at high speed, not seeing that the boat was heading straight for a thin blue boatline.
A few seconds before the boat hit the rope, Josiah saw the sky lit up with huge Angels carrying flaming swords. He heard what he believes to be the voice of God telling him: “Put your hand up, Josiah.”
So Josiah did as he was told.
The boatline hit Josiah right on his neck.
The boy’s neck was torn open, bubbles and blood were coming out….
Josiah was taken to ER and put in a coma for 24 hours.
Josiah broke two fingers of his left hand and injured his left arm.
His doctors said if Josiah had not lifted up his arm at the very last second before impact, the rope would have decapitated him.

  1. I believe that we are are loved endlessly by our Creator and that he does send his angels to help us in times of danger and need. This story is a beautiful example of that.

  2. Amazing!

  3. And that the lad’s family name is Lamb is just a coincidence? Long ago someone said to me that “coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous,” which seems to fit this anecdote perfectly. But what do I know, I’m just another believer….

    • Joseph, you are one beautiful believer! 🙂

      • Aw shucks, surfercajun, not any more than Josiah, who did as he was told, and saw the same Glory that I did three times at age 17, when I first entered college.
NOTHING here in life comes to a fraction of what was revealed to Josiah & myself when wrapt in God’s Fabric and Being: NOTHING!!
Go to my WordPress page @
& read “What we learn to see” to get my attempt to describe it. But NOTHING can communicate the total experience, except poetry to a degree, which is why the Bible –our greatest Wisdom Book– is filled w/so much grand poetry, and its finest poet is, of course, Jeshua ben David, in many parables and powerful lines everywhere in the Greek Scriptures. I weep to think of the passages that were lost or not recorded!

  4. What a wonderful thing it is to know that the Heavens respond to the needs of those on earth. This young man must have some divine purpose that he has not yet fulfilled. Wonderful post!

  5. Here is a video that I found on Facebook about a man who tries to stab a pastor at a church, but the power of God protects the pastor:

    • I was hitchhiking in Oregon back in 2010 and this truck driver picked me up. He was a Christian and we had great fellowship. One time that truck driver was walking through this truck stop in southern California. These two men walked up to him and were going to rob him, but the truck driver put his hand on the shoulder of one of the men and the man fell to his knees and began confessing his sins to the truck driver. Praise the Lord! That is the power of the Holy Ghost!

    • Thank you, Tim. Here’s the video on YouTube:

I’m dubious for this reason: Security cameras don’t do zoom in, but that’s exactly what happened at the 1:15 mark, when the camera zoomed in on the would-be assassin. The whole thing looks staged.
Also, it’s not a priest, but a Pentecostal minister in Colombia.

  6. I just wonder if there is a way to contact Josiah Lamb’s family. My son, Josiah is able to see angels as well and I would like to see if I can connect them.
    Thank you.

  7. Josiah please pray for healing for my body to be healed from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet amen
