The Harbinger: The Ancient Mystery that Holds the Secret of America's Future [Book]

I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately and after reading this book I learned that America, contrary to what I have heard before, is mentioned in Biblical Prophecy, not by name mind you but by the events of 9/11 and the economic collapse. The author has done extensive research and even though it reads as a novel it is all based in fact. The author takes you from ancient Jerusalem to modern NewYork and shows us prophetic parallels between then and now.
I don’t want to give too much away, all I will say is that as a Christian it was thought provoking and will make you realize that God is trying to get our attention as a country and we ignore these attempts at our own peril.

  2. I just downloaded on my kindle, thanks for the post…

  3. I am just finishing up this book and feel like I should be the proverbial “town crier” shouting from the streets to read this book! How do you not share this with all the folks in your church and whoever else you can get to read it!??

  4. This book should be read by everyone in the United States

  5. This is for those that are truly humble and are seeking diligently to learn wisdom and to find truth. There is an ancient text, it tells of Jesus Christ coming to this continent, after His resurrection. This ancient text does quote Isaiah and tells of Jesus Christ’s commandment to us to search diligently his writings. In this ancient text, Jesus Christ says, “And now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah.” This ancient text tells of what other things Jesus Christ said He was commanded to teach by the Father. Jesus Christ himself also foretold of the coming forth of this ancient text, He said, “Therefore give heed to my words; write the things which I have told you, and according to the time and the will of the Father they shall go forth unto the Gentiles.” He also said that His Church will be called by His name, saying, “And how be it my church save it be called in my name? For if a church be called in Moses’ name then it be Moses’ church; or if it be called in the name of a man; but if it be called in my name then it is my church, if it so be that they are built upon my gospel.” He says that this is His Gospel, “Behold, I have given unto you my Gospel, and this is the gospel which I have given unto you–that I came into the world to do the will of my Father, because my Father sent me. And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all men unto me,” He tells what else His Gospel teachings are. It tells of His grief over iniquity, “And it came to pass that when they had knelt upon the ground, Jesus groaned within himself, and of the wickedness of the people of the house of Israel.” Jesus Christ tells in this ancient text of other important events in our time in this American continent and warned of what would happen if we did not accept His teachings in this text. The text says, “And when ye shall see these sayings coming forth among you, then ye need not any longer spurn at the doings of the Lord, for the sword of His justice is in His right hand; and behold, at this day, if ye shall spurn at His doings He will cause that it shall soon overtake you.” We are warned clearly by this saying, “Turn, all ye Gentiles, from your wicked ways; and repent of your evil doings, of your lyings and deceivings, and of your whoredoms, and of your secret abominations, and your idolatries, and of your murders, and your priestcrafts, and your envyings, and your strifes, and from all your wickedness and abominations, and come unto me, and be baptized in my name, that ye may receive a remission of your sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, that ye may be numbered with my people who are of the house of Israel.” He warned of what would happen to us as a nation if after receiving this text, we then turned to iniquity and turned away from Him…Read it for yourself from the text, you can get it from His Church, The Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-Day Saints. The text is The Book of Mormon. I bare to you my testimony, with all sincerity of my heart that these things are true. Read it and pray to know it for yourself. Yes, I am speaking to you!

    • And I am speaking to you in love. I have no desire to argue. I beleive you are sincere but you are sincerely deceived. The religious teachings of Mormonism are anti-christ and is being exposed to the world. I love the Mormon people. I pray that your own heart by the Grace of Jesus Christ will be set free. And when you know the Truth you will be free indeed.

      • No offense but it sounds like you are completely ignorant as to what the Mormons believe in. The words Anti-Christ and Mormons do not even fit in the same category. . How can the Mormons be anti-Christ if the name of their church is “The Church of “JESUS CHRIST” of Latter Day Saints”? Unless there is a different definition to what anti-Christ is that I am not aware of than you may want to do some research into “Mormonism” before making such a stupid remark. “And when you know the TRUTH you will be free indeed”.

        • The Mormons are sincere about their beliefs…sincerely WRONG… Jesus Christ is the only way to God. You cannot add or subtract to His gospel.

    • Poor Janet, To get accepted in the LDS organization, she had to swear to sustain (or blindly obey) the leaders of the LDS organization. She is unaware of the many doctrines that are not followed and the many doctrines that have been added that do not coincided with D&C, Pearl, BoM and the Bible.
I bet she wears the garment to show her brain washed support of mere mortal men mascarading as demigods (prophets). The totalitarian authoritarian structure of the LDS organization is contrary to the writings claimed as the basis for all LDS doctrines.
She is also blind to the directive for men to not receive Biblical counsel from a woman.
The original manuscripts of the Bible written on papayrus and goat skin are available for examination in many ancient forms. The Mormon plates that should have endured the past 200 years are nowhere to be found.
She does a good job of regurgitating the dogma of the LDS organization.

  6. I just watched the first half of the video( via my church Calvary Chapel Appleton Wisconsin). WOW… Rabi Cahn has really blessed and enlightened us with his homework, full of factual events! Can’t wait until we see part II. Praise Jesus.

  7. Yeshua (Anglicized: Jesus) the Messiah could not have come a second time to the American continent in such fashion, as that would have defied the nature of the covenant He, God, made with Israel, and the commands He gave to His emissaries (‘apostles’) to go into all the world: “First in Jerusalem, then in Judaea and Samaria (ancient Israeli territory), then to the uttermost ends of the Earth.” Mormonism espouses ‘replacement theology’ that says nothing less than that God has rescinded, or ‘is done with’, His covenent with the Jewish people. That is, that He can break promises He said were forever. And if THAT is the case…what’s to say Islam (or even ‘Urantia’, etc.) isn’t correct, and that God is done with His covenant with any Christian concepts? That He isn’t done with us, the moment He ‘feels like it’? Mormonism cannot be correct, if you know the foundational Jewish/Israeli roots of Messiah-following.
Lo and behold, Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn has plenty of teachings about it; and he’s an outstanding teacher.

  8. I have huge problem with the premise so I don’t know if I’m going to be able to buy into the prophesies.
The first 3 chapters set up the premise, and you notice he doesn’t have any references in the back for those chapters.
The protagonist has written a few articles in magazines and the web, and just because of that this woman suddenly wants to hear this story? what has he written? And who is this woman, other than someone in the media who doesn’t waste her time?
Then there is the idea that USA was founded as the new Israel. “Gods light on the world.” By who? Someone “long before the founding fathers, but he doesn’t say who?
And that we’ve been Godly, give or take a few sins until now, now we’re at a critical juncture? Now meaning no prayer in school, abortions, sexual freedom, greed?
America at its founding has been sinful. We lied, killed, and raped the indigenous population and took their lands (‘course, Joshua did that too so there is one parallel at least to Israel) and waged wars for expansion and power against the Indian nations, Canada, Mexico, Spain. We allowed the enslavement of a whole race of people.
And what of this Hedge? The prophet says Israel was destroyed by the Assyrians for turning away from God, and the Assyrians were the most vile conquerors ever known to that point in history? Again, nothing to back that up. Every conquering nation has used terrorism. And Judea was subjugated by the Assyrians also, so what did they do wrong? And bin laden is like Assyrians to us. Bin laden is from the Bedouins of south Arabia. A thousand mile from northern Iraq. Semitic? Yes, but so are the Jews. As a metaphor it works, like English as the new Romans, but for prophesy I find it pretty flimsy
He says 9 -11 is the first harbinger. Proof that the Hedge is gone. What about the British sacking of Washington and burning the white house in 1812? What about the Civil War? What about Pearl Harbor? Where was this Hedge then? .
I’m still trying to read through it. It would be easier to take in all this prophesy stuff if it was actually written well

  9. You are so right! My biggest problem with LDS church is that it isn’t necessary Christs message was complete and doesn’t need any additional information. The LDS church wants us to believe that Christ wasn’t done? And that all of Christendom was running around lost for almost 2000 years? My only problem with most responses to the Mormons is that we’re being to kind . The word of God is to be defended from Satan jealously period ! If we consider the LDS heretical and false it can only come from one place and that’s Satan ! There’s no way around this.

  10. Phyllis Schultz

Just need to say there is a huge difference between Mormonism and Christianity which is Jesus Christ as defined in the Bible. Sadly. Mormons do not believe that Jesus is any more divine than they will be when the reach their “Godhood.” Also, they don’t believe in the Trinity as Christians do.

    • Thanks, Phyllis. Most of us on FOTM know the theological differences. But the reality is that our choice in this election is between a Mormon who is a good and kind man vs. an evil man who’s a fake “Christian” who we have compelling reasons to believe is a secret taqiyya Muslim. The choice is clear and obvious.
