Bikers en route to rescue Marine from Mexican prison

On May 31, 2014, Obama defied a federal law (Sec. 1035 of the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act) and released 5 dangerous Taliban terrorists from Gitmo in exchange for Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl. The POS justified the prisoner swap by saying the United States “never leaves one of our own behind.”

The POS clearly does not include U.S. Marine veteran Sgt. Andrew Tahmooresi, 25, as “one of our own.” On the day Bergdahl was liberated, Tahmooresi already had languished in a Mexican jail for TWO months.

Sgt. Andrew TahmooressiOn March 31, 2014, Tahmooressi was headed to dinner with friends in San Ysidro on the Californian border with Mexico, when he missed a freeway exit and mistakenly wound up at a border crossing point in Tijuana where Mexican authorities found three registered guns inside his truck. Tahmooresi was arrested and is being held in Tijuana’s La Mesa Penitentiary without bail.

The Obama administration has not demanded Tahmooresi’s release. So a group of patriotic bikers are on their way to Tijuana to rescue the Marine, with John Harrington of Shield Tactical leading the charge.

The bikers are calling on fellow patriots to go to south San Diego and meet up at the Mexican border for a rally this weekend, to demand the Mexican government release Sgt. Tahmooresi.

The POS is also ignoring two Americans who are still being held by the Taliban in Afghanistan: Caitlan Coleman and her one-year-old child.

In an article for American Thinker, former Vietnam War POW Michael Benge draws our attention to the plight of the American woman.

In late 2012, while traveling in a mountainous region near the Afghan capital Kabul, Caitlan, who was pregnant, and her Canadian husband Joshua Boyle were captured by the Taliban. Videos of the captives were emailed to Caitlan’s parents in July and September last year, so the Obama Administration was well aware of their plight while negotiating with the Taliban for Bergdahl’s release.

Benge writes: “One can only wonder why the major news media and even Obama’s critics are ignoring this question during the current debate. If a Republican president had carried out such an outrageous swap while leaving Caitlan and her child behind, there would be shrieks about a war on women.”

This is going to be interesting. God bless these guys.

  2. This article adds some much-needed perspective to the Bergdahl fiasco. It’s worse than we thought.

  3. I’ve sent this on to my friends in NY & Texas who first alerted me to his plight. Let’s hope & pray that he’s out ASAP.

  4. I wonder how many armed federal goons the comrade Dear Ruler has on the move to San Diego?

If you read the article correctly you will find that these guys are not going to storm a Mexican prison to get this guy out. They are going to do what all white Americans do; cry like little bitches while standing on our side of the border. Please, what a bunch of pussies. The only thing bikers know how to is sell drugs to their own children and sell guns to drug addicted school kids.

If these bikers want to impress anybody, they will quietly enter Mexico, storm the prison, kill the guards and grab the Marine. But that is too much to ask from middle age white guys who piss their pants when a cop pulls them over for speeding.

    • They may be “middle age” and “white” (as if that’s a bad thing), but those bikers are doing more than the half-white squatter in the White House and way way more than what you — William Zabel, age 48, which makes you (GASP) middle-aged! — are doing.

      • Perfect spot on reply. Kudos to you!

      • Them going down to Mexico hopefully will refresh Americans that one of their own sons is being held captive. I hope u.s. Citizens will call their representative and demand his immediate release.
demand them to give us an explanation and not a run around.

    • So Mr. Real Man. Let’s see you do something to help someone, other than trolling blogs and sniping at people who are indeed doing something.

    • “They are going to do what all white Americans do; cry like little bitches while standing on our side of the border. Please, what a bunch of pussies.” I suggest you get your arse over to any American post or FOB in Afghanistan and make that statement. I’m sure you’ll impress a lot of guys over there.

  6. Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this significant post. I will pray for these brave bikers, and that Sgt. Andrew is released.

When I was a junior in high school, a Jesuit priest, Father Neil, would discipline the male students by getting their attention to look at the blackboard. On the board, he would draw a large circle and put the letter, “A” in it. Mr. Zabel, this is what you are.

  7. I was in the supermarket yesterday. On one of the headlines on the front page of the National Enquirer was about Mooch’s putative rhetorical response to her husband about the Bergdahl fiasco: Whose side are you on?

Yes, I’m well aware that the Enquirer is not the NYT. But my understanding is that the accuracy levels are comparable. Unlike some other tabloids, the Enquirer is not about famous people having sex with UFO aliens. The Enquirer specializes in digging up reasonably accurate dirt.

One could say: That’s not my cup of tea. However the Enquirer sometimes scoops other papers on breaking news — like former vice presidential candidate Edwards cheating on his dying wife a few years ago.

  9. Hey William Zabble, you’re talkin’ tough. When are you going to go to Mexico, storm the prison, kill the guards and grab the Marine? Tomorrow?

  11. On re-reading this today, I finally ‘got it’ re this secondary incident:
“In late 2012, while traveling in a mountainous region near the Afghan capital Kabul, Caitlan, who was pregnant, and her Canadian husband Joshua Boyle were captured by the Taliban. Videos of the captives were emailed to Caitlan’s parents in July and September last year, so the Obama Administration was well aware of their plight while negotiating with the Taliban for Bergdahl’s release.”

This sounds as if the Taliban –w/o pressure from Kanada [?]– released her husband just because he’s Canadian. Which doesn’t make sense, as we were in it from the get-go: it was the longest posting of Canadian military outside Kanada since WW2, so the Taliban surely doesn’t like us any more than it does US citizen-soldiers, as our forces killed more than a few of them.

If I discover anything worthwhile I’ll get back to report it.

  12. And what was the outcome of the ride? I’ve heard no follow up. Meantime our young marine continues to suffer in a Mexican jail. I can only imagine the agony his mother goes thru daily. We need to do more, much more but above all we need to stay on top of this and shame the admin. into getting involved. This is so very, very wrong.
