Beginning July 1 in CA: Background checks required to purchase ammo

Only for law-abiding citizens, of course.

And if California demorat presidential candidate Eric Swalwell had his way, he’d ban the individual ownership of more than 200 rounds of any given caliber of ammunition. That fool has obviously never been to a gun range.

As if they needed on more excuse for even higher prices. Personally, I haven’t purchase a factory loaded ’round’ other than .22 rimfires or shotgun shells in over 30 years.

It is more than troubling that we have so many politicians who are rabidly against the Second Amendment. I would say they are traitors to our Constitution.

If you want to understand why look up ‘The Bonus Army’ video and see why the first gun control law was enacted by a Congress that was afraid for their lives because of their lies.

Only a state full of fools or totally rigged elections would allow what has happened in the Golden State. So sad.

Shit that sounds just like New York under Andrew Cuomo. He does not need any more ideas when it comes to guns or ammo.

So, what’s next—-if they can’t ban guns entirely or confiscate them in any manner that they can get away with (this ammo thing is right out of Obama and Billery’s playbook—in fact, the rationing of rounds started back then in CA)…….when are they going to make gun owners wear the Scarlet Letter or pin on a yellow star? Seems like we’re getting pretty close to it in the “Golden State.”

Governor Goodhair making the world safe for third-world hygiene. It’ll take a $10 bag of Heroin to buy a box of .22’s.

Well, what can you expect from someone who thinks tampons should be in the men’s bathroom?

Take a page from the Marxist’s own play book Cal-i-Girl. #RESISTDEMOCRATFASCISM Never back down. Never surrender your GOD GIVEN, human rights, which are codified (not “granted”) by our own Bill of Rights. These are rights, not “privileges” granted by our benevolent progressive would-be overlords. After 60+ years, I ran from my home state of California just as the East Germans ran from their Communist tyranny to the West. I live in a FREE STATE, and if all you’ve ever known is California, you would be shocked every day, by what true freedom feels like. If I had stayed in California,… Read more »

Thanks OldSalt (love the name!) Thank you for your service. I agree!! But—Like your son, we’re “stuck” in CA for a little while longer b/c we’re nearing a time we can retire fairly well, and prior to that, our home mortgage was under water anyway. We’re at the point w/that where we could at least break even/leave without a short-sale or whatever. We can’t take a hit w/big housing loss and get out in decent shape. PS…we’re from the East Coast originally & have really wanted “out” of CA for years….and, if we can never “get back East” (PA/MD/VA/WVA/KY/Tenn—-but, kids… Read more »

Well, I gave my son all my reloading equipment, he has plenty of powder, bullets, brass, and primers, and I’ll bring him more of whatever he needs on my next trip back to my former home state of Kalifornia. I live in a FREE state now, but my son is still stuck there for a while.

He’s got all the guns, (legal) hi-cap mags, and ammo he can use. Just gotta be prepared for whatever the fascists Democrat’s do next. They’re … flexible … critters.

Find one government in all of history that banned it’s own ARMED FORCES from “Keeping and Bearing” ARMS. Find one government in the history of humanity that felt a need to document a “RIGHT” for it’s ARMED FORCES to possess ARMS. Oppressive Governments are ALWAYS banning the People’S RIGHTS to arms. The claim that the Founding Fathers wrote the 2nd Amendment to give Our ARMED FORCES a “right” to keep and carry ARMS is S-T-U-P-I-D. The only reason for the Second Amendment is to clearly spell-out the GOD GIVEN RIGHT of INDIVIDUALS to keep & bear ARMS. The only reason… Read more »

This is the point that most get trapped with. Those “rights” are not “state-given”. They are God-given. The Constitution merely GUARANTEES that they will not be regulated against. So, by any terms and conditions or situation, the Government has NO ENUMERATED RIGHT to regulate them. Period, end of story. But……, they keep bringing it up hoping to snag suckers into discussions. The suckers hope against hope that by “cooperating” somehow, they’ll back off. They won’t. They should face such a colossal stink every time they bring this up that it would be political death to consider it. We’re losing this.… Read more »

NO more guns in any movies. No swords, spears, clubs, or axes. These “pious” actors are all about “righteousness” Chinese characters HAVE to be played by Chinese actors , Black characters HAVE to be played by Black actors , then —- NO actor shall be allowed to pick up a weapon if they are not NRA members or Military Veterans. Also all weapons MUST be handled in a safe and proper method as approved by NRA and Military training. Notice that the most violent movies are ALWAYS the ones with Afleck, Clooney, Damon, DiCaprio, Gyllenhaal, and Pitt in them? They… Read more »

It should be easy to bypass. Just get illegals to buy your ammo in the sanctuary state.

I don’t want to end up on any police list that might result in me getting killed by them during a routine investigation by them because I was red flagged as an ammunition purchaser.

Building a list of who’s buying ammo… for what next, we might ask?
