When I wake up in the morning, my mind gropes around for something to hold onto.
Some days I am facing problems, some days are days where enjoyable things are planned. Some days are days of battle. Some days are days of sorrow. Some days are days in sunshine, riding waves or skiing powder.
But every day, the most steadying thought is the confidence that “His love endures forever.” He will never leave me nor forsake me. In death or in life, “His love endures forever.”

Operation Mockingbird is a large-scale program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that began in the early 1950s and attempted to manipulate news media for propaganda purposes. It funded student and cultural organizations and magazines as front organizations. – Wikipedia
It is an understatement to say the government and news media are lying to us.
There are very few reliable sources. We can be looking to the big names in news, and it is easy for a casual observer to know the whole message is manipulated by some hidden agenda. And if we go to alternative sources online to get past the wall of lies, we are frustrated by the sheer madness of many stories.
Worse yet, turn to Youtube, and you find that every nut you would normally avoid at the local barroom now has a platform to bend your ear with his stinkin thinkin.
So where do we turn for certainty?
Speaking only for myself, at this point, I am personally so weary of the lies that I am now taking time to shelter my mind and soul in the things that are reliable. The one source I trust implicitly is the Word of God. And I commend it to you, if like me you are bitterly tired of “Mockingbird Media.”
…streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill.
…The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the Lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted. – Isaiah 30:25-26
Something terrible happened September 11, 2001.
It was indeed a day of great slaughter when the towers fell. It matches the mysterious event spoken of by Isaiah the prophet. Was Isaiah speaking exactly to our moment in history? In my opinion, God’s word speaks to us all in a great variety of situations. In His manifold wisdom, one word accomplishes many things, more than we can count.
For me, this scripture lit up like a beacon, capturing my attention through the mention of an unforgettable shared trauma. And here’s the remarkable thing. He announces that this horrible satanic attack also triggers a great spiritual outpouring of Grace and Living Waters, far more than adequate to heal our wounds and meet the challenges of our time head on.
That’s what I get out of this amazing passage.
How about you, dear readers?
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. – Isaiah 9:2
Let the Son shine into your heart
Solstice is the darkest part of the year in the northern hemisphere. The days become troublingly short, with night falling before afternoon is over. For those with “seasonal affective disorder” it can be a time of dangerous heavy depression.
The Church chose the period near Solstice to replace the pagan bacchanal celebrations with holy gatherings to honor the Nativity of Jesus Christ
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
– John 1:1-5
Can anyone explain why Drudge has been publishing news to discourage the nation?
To me it looks the same as the Demonrat practice of suppressing conservative turnout at elections by publishing falsified poles.
Dr. Eowyn has recently been plugging the alternative news aggregator, Wharfinger.com, as a better resource than Drudge. And considering headlines like the ones highlighted above, I must agree with her.
I would love to hear from Dr. Eowyn and our readers what has happened to Drudge. As I tried to search out the subject on Google it seemed there was a stunning silence on the subject.
Dr. Eowyn, thank you in advance for weighing in on the subject.
Am I seeing things correctly, or am I just whining because I don’t like bad news? Looking forward to what others have to say on this.
To borrow from my friend Dr. Eowyn:
Better than Drudge Report. Check out Whatfinger News, the Internet’s conservative frontpage founded by ex-military!
A pastor and great teacher of mine used to say we should expect to be surprised when we get to heaven. We will likely see people there who we were sure would be in hell, and notice that others we thought would be in heaven are distinctly absent.
Having said that, however, if Marx did not repent at the last and receive forgiveness, then he will surely have spent the last 135 years since his death in 1883 in the torments of hell. There are few whose writings have caused more harm, more murder than the writings of Karl Marx.
So when I see Marx’s followers rise up in our nation, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders and Tom Perez, I am greatly troubled for the future of our republic. I believe the very same devils that powered Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin are now in possession of these people, and intending to bring about the same kinds of blood baths we saw in the 20th century.
Like French Roast coffee, I will make this post short and bitter.
France has a long history of evil, persecuting christians, and supporting and harboring monsters. A city that gave shelter to the exiled Ayatollah Khomeini, Karl Marx, and a place for the leader of the PLO to hide his stolen billions, can expect a dark harvest.
I know there is much to love about the French, but there is also a parallel line of the country’s history that will demand justice. The infamous globalists are very comfortable in Paris. So also the terrorist organization known as Antifa.
“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” Matthew 26:53-54New International Version (NIV)
The Crucifixion of Jesus was not a tragedy, it was an achievement.
Can you imagine the determination of Jesus in his march into Jerusalem knowing that torture and death awaited Him? And think of the Father’s pain at seeing His Son insulted, beaten, mocked and killed.
But they knew it was the only way they could fulfill the legal demands of the law, and break Satan’s death grip on humanity. If God had not withheld His hand at that moment, we would have been doomed to an eternity in darkness.
