Seattle City Council candidate wants to solve homelessness with cargo containers, work

The city of Seattle and King County declared a homeless crisis (now referred to as housing crisis) back in 2015 after failing to meet its goal of ending chronic homelessness in 10 years.

The bureaucrats spend more than $1 BILLION a year to try and solve this crisis.

In my opinion, the issue will never be solved due to the nature of the homeless industrial complex and failure to address the root causes: drug addiction and mental health.

Last November I told you about Christopher Rufo, a candidate for Seattle City Council, who dropped out of the race due to the intolerance and bullying of Seattle progressives. He’s been one of the few voices to publicly state the obvious – and has faced serious harassment for his words.

Rufo stated this past June, “The most compelling evidence that I have, that anyone has, is simply go out into the streets, talk with people, volunteer to work with the homeless and you’ll see very quickly what every service provider knows — that in a majority of cases we’re dealing with folks who have severe addictions, and with about 30 percent of cases, people that are suffering from severe mental illness.”

Seattle City Council candidate Isabelle Kerner

Now we have another Seattle Council candidate, Isabelle Kerner, who proposed that “merit-based solutions involving shipping containers could affect positive change” on the area’s homeless.

From the MyNorthwest.com story: I call it (the homeless crisis) a camping crisis. Some people have a problem with that but I just feel like it encompasses all of the other issues, from property crime to open drug use to human trafficking, public health and sanitation,” she said. “I don’t think the district is that safe. I don’t think the city of Seattle is very safe.

Kerner is interested in using shipping containers to create a temporary, safe environment that caters to the individual struggles of homeless people and helps launch them into more permanent housing.

“The idea would be that when individuals are reached by the navigation team, they would take a drug test and fill out a questionnaire and it would be streamlined. It would go straight to a database, and there’d be different sites,” she said. “So if there’s women and children on the streets that are fleeing domestic violence, you wouldn’t put them in the same area as severely mentally ill or severely drug addicted.”

“The individuals would be chosen to fit with a certain cargo container site with people that are struggling with issues that are similar to ones they’re struggling with, and we’d use the apprenticeship program, partner with businesses, and they’d have the opportunity to live there for three to eight months, and get on-site services and treatment.”

While there, residents would have the ability to start building income and skills that could be put toward creating a more productive life.

They’d even be able to work and earn money and it would be deposited into what I call a restart fund, kind of like a retirement fund, but they just couldn’t take it out until they exited the program. Because the funds would serve as their first month’s rent, last month’s rent, security deposit, and a little bit extra. And then they would exit the program with enough funding to afford the upfront costs for affordable housing, along with a job that would allow them to continue to afford that housing.”

In the above interview, it sounds like Isabelle has good intentions and does understand that drug addiction and mental health are major concerns. But she’s up against a fierce machine.

I applaud her for getting in the race but the girl is going to need some thicker skin. From her Facebook post on July 9:

“To those who did not attend last nights forum at the Horizon House, here’s a quick recap:

1. I did have a public breakdown.
2. I did cry in front of a few hundred people.
3. I did wear my sunglasses for the remainder of the forum.

I don’t exactly recall what it set me off. I recently made the mistake of creating a Twitter account. Naively, I tried to forge a peace treaty via Twitter amongst the group Safe Seattle and the individuals who take offense toward it. It did not go well. I have since left all groups and deactivated Twitter for my own mental health and safety.

I have PTSD and while I see a therapist weekly to manage it, something random can still flip the switch. While I am open and accepting to all criticism, there is one thing I do not wish for the public to comment on—the October 2017 incident. I did not choose to publicize that event for political gain or voter sympathy and I am done responding to accusations of that sort. If you want to get to me, now you know how. I spoke about it publicly in hopes it would not happen to anyone else. That decision was made prior to running for office.

I’ve become increasingly aware of the ways in which violence inflicted by just a handful of individuals can degrade the mental health of an entire City. I’ve heard it from people on the street and I have experienced it first hand myself. Here’s how contagious it can be:

“If you end up here on the streets and you are sane, the things you will see and the things you will experience will make you crazy.”

At least 25% of Seattle Fire Fighters develop PTSD as a result of what they experience while working to keep all of us safe every day. Some don’t seek help or wait too long because we are afraid of how it will effect others perception of us. Not all people fit the PTSD stereotype. Suicide is a very real and tragic outcome of this. It’s a very isolating issue to live with.

To the violent messengers who constantly make threats—please find a new hobby. To those who have called me to share their experiences to let me know I’m not alone—you have probably saved my life and many others. To those who think I’m using this for attention—thank you for your feedback. To those who are struggling with this alone—your not!

Huge thank you to all my opponents who emailed, messaged or texted me after last nights event. Despite the fact that we are running against each other, I admire and respect each and every one of you so much. Thank you for all for the support!

To those at the event… I’m sorry for the breakdown. I know it was awkward. Thank you for understanding.”

Isabelle is facing an uphill battle in Seattle. If the intolerant left don’t like what she’s proposing, she’s going to receive the same treatment as Rufo, with the end result being a swift end to her campaign.

Miley Cyrus implies she won’t procreate due to climate change

Elle magazine has an interview with Miley Cyrus that covers every woke topic: climate change, sexism, abortion, housing inequality, etc.

Excerpts from the article:

“My record is called She Is Miley Cyrus. ‘She’ does not represent a gender. She is not just a woman. ‘She’ doesn’t refer to a vagina. She is a force of nature. She is power. She can be anything you want to be, therefore, she is everything. She is the super she. She is the she-ro. She is the She-E-O.”

“I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it. I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a fucking apron cooking dinner? I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women. People become vegetarian for health reasons, but bacon is still fucking good, and I know that. I made a partner decision. This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word.

“I have a new song, “Never Be Me,” and the chorus says, “If you’re looking for faithful, that’ll never be me. If you’re looking for stable, that’ll never be me. If you’re looking for someone that’ll be all that you need, that’s never going to be me.”

She laments the expectation this puts on the female sex: “We’re expected to keep the planet populated. And when that isn’t a part of our plan or our purpose, there is so much judgment and anger that they try to make and change laws to force it upon you—even if you become pregnant in a violent situation. If you don’t want children, people feel sorry for you, like you’re a cold, heartless bitch who’s not capable of love.” Cyrus hates the word selfish. “Why are we trained that love means putting yourself second and those you love first? If you love yourself, then what? You come first.”

“We’ve been doing the same thing to the earth that we do to women. We just take and take and expect it to keep producing. And it’s exhausted. It can’t produce. We’re getting handed a piece-of-shit planet, and I refuse to hand that down to my child. Until I feel like my kid would live on an earth with fish in the water, I’m not bringing in another person to deal with that.

Portland, OR to create “equitable mobility” task force to determine charges for driving on public roads

From Oregon Live: Portland City Council approved a plan Wednesday to study short-and-long-term strategies to charge people to use city streets, an effort intended to reduce congestion and curb carbon emissions as the region expects as many as 500,000 new residents by 2040.

The city will create a Pricing for Equitable Mobility task force to study and recommend potential road user fees – such as cordons, where drivers are charged to use certain streets in the city center or potentially more robust freeway tolls in the area. The task force will meet later this year and is expected to offer initial recommendations in summer 2020 and final recommendations in the spring of 2021.

Commissioner Chloe Eudaly, who oversees the transportation bureau, said the city must take bold steps to try and get people out of their cars. “We are going the wrong direction on transportation,” she said, adding that 42% of Portland’s carbon emissions come from transportation sources. Portland and Multnomah County have the goal of transitioning 100% to renewable energy sources by 2050.

What strategies are on the table are still up for debate, but likely options include cordon pricing, a potential fee for Uber and Lyft fares, more demand-based parking pricing, and potentially a local fee to charge drivers based on how many miles they drive.

The vote comes nearly two years after the council urged the city to create a comprehensive congestion pricing and demand strategy. The Legislature in 2017 also kickstarted a plan to study whether and how to charge drivers on Interstate 5 and 205 in the Portland area. The state has since applied for tolling approval from the federal government.

Advocates like Jillian Detweiler, executive director of the nonprofit transportation organization The Street Trust, said the city already knew what it must do – and that’s offer incentives to get people out of cars and onto bikes or transit.

“This can’t wait,” she said of the pricing plan, adding it took 20 months to get to the point of creating a task force. Other supporters urged the city to act sooner, saying growing traffic congestion poses a health risk to young people here.

The task force is expected to include diverse voices from transit-dependent groups and organizations representing communities of color, folks who, city officials say, already shoulder an undue burden in commuting times because they’ve been forced to relocate to farther flung neighborhoods.

Chris Warner, Portland’s transportation director, said the city was seeing an increase in carbon emissions in recent years, not a decrease. Those emissions rose 6.4% last year, Warner said, and are up 8% since 1990.

“We have to reduce the amount we drive alone,” he told the council. Portland hopes its alliance with Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Climate Challenge, of which it is one of 25 cities chosen, will help the city “augment and accelerate” it’s near-term climate reduction goals.

Portland has studied how other major cities — like London, Stockholm and Singapore — have started charging drivers to use city roads or drive into sections of the city.

Charging people to drive works, according to the city’s research. But it’s important to have a solid plan in place, access to transit and tailor the pricing strategy to the region.

Portland’s challenge is intensified because unlike many other larger cities, the bulk of commuters who drive alone into downtown and close-in neighborhoods for work in the Rose City aren’t wealthy. PBOT officials said 65% of peak car commuters in Portland are medium or low-income, so finding out how to charge users to drive is a tricky issue.

Noah Siegel, PBOT’s interim deputy director, said Portland couldn’t make whatever fees it settles on for drivers punitive. “It’s really about freeing people from sitting in traffic in their cars,” he told the council.

Priorities: Chicago Mayor Lightfoot promises to protect the children…

You deserve what you vote for, Chiraq.

You have countless shootings EVERY DAY, EVERY WEEKEND – and that includes children being shot and killed.

Yet you elected a progressive mayor who is now promising to protect illegal aliens – and their children.

Heaven forbid Mayor Lightfoot actually do something about addressing the gang and gun violence that plagues U.S. citizens throughout your city.

From WGN TV: Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Chicago business groups are taking steps to protect undocumented immigrants in the city.

They said Chicago will not help federal agents track them down. “It’s not about being confrontational with the Trump administration, but it’s 100% about being supportive of our immigrant community,” Lightfoot said at a Wednesday morning news conference.

Chicago, with its status as a Sanctuary City, has drawn criticism from President Donald Trump and his Justice Department.

But the mayor said her focus is the children. “A lot of these issues regarding immigration and the fear and uncertainty about what’s happening is falling disproportionately and harshly on our children,” Lightfoot said.

“What this is doing is scaring restauranteurs and scaring team members,” Sam Toia of the Illinois Restaurant Association said. Toia and other prominent business and health leaders announced their unwavering support for Chicago’s immigrant communities.

Critics of the federal crackdown on undocumented immigrants have called the plan heavy-handed and poorly executed.

Rosie O’Donnell says Biden should drop out of presidential race: “He’s not the future of the democratic party”

From Yahoo: Rosie O’Donnell is calling for Joe Biden to drop out of the 2020 race for president.

During a Tuesday appearance on CNN’s Cuomo Primetime, the comedian and TV personality cited the 76-year-old former vice president’s age and ideas as the reasons she’ll be backing someone else seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination.

“I think that Joe Biden should say, ‘I’m gonna to sit this one out,’” O’Donnell said. “‘I’m gonna be an elder statesman, and I’m gonna advise.’ And then whoever is the nominee, I think, should think about how to best use somebody with the experience that Joe Biden has [gained] in all these years of politics. But he’s not the future of the Democratic Party.”

O’Donnell’s preferred candidates are Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who she’s supported in the past, and California Sen. Kamala Harris.

Cuomo pointed out that the latest CNN poll showed that Biden is the candidate with the best chance at defeating the Republican Party’s candidate, President Donald Trump. How, he asked, could someone argue that Biden isn’t in the party’s future?

“Well, because he’s antiquated in a lot of his thinking, a lot of his beliefs,” O’Donnell said of Biden. O’Donnell also said Democratic House majority leader Nancy Pelosi should impeach Trump, although the speaker has said she would rather see Trump lose an election.

“Because this is not the way to deal with Trump, as someone who had to deal with him for a decade before he became President of the United States, relentless, unending abuse from him,” said O’Donnell, who publicly feuded with Trump for years before he moved into the White House.

“This is not how you deal with him. You don’t let him go and give him a long lead,” she said. “You gotta reel him back in and confront him at his own level. To turn around and say we’re not going to have an impeachment inquiry, I think is a gross injustice, and I think Nancy Pelosi is making a huge mistake.

O’Donnell was on the show to promote Lights for Liberty, the hundreds of vigils that will be held around the country Friday to protest the treatment of immigrants at the United States border.

“This has to be the issue of the election,” the former daytime talk show host said. “I think it’s gonna be, because mothers and fathers across the country are gonna say, ‘Enough. I can’t and will not tolerate this on my watch.’”

Senator Tillis of NC introduces the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act

Senator Thom Tillis

Good.

From the Senator’s web page (July 9):

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) introduced the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act, legislation that holds sanctuary jurisdictions accountable for failing to comply with lawful detainer and release notification requests made by federal authorities and jeopardizing public safety. Joining Tillis as original co-sponsors are Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Ted Cruz (R-TX).

The legislation creates a private right of civil action for the victims of sanctuary jurisdictions, allowing them to bring an action for compensatory damages against the sanctuary jurisdiction as a result of a violent crime committed by an illegal immigrant. Any sanctuary city or jurisdiction that refuses to waive its immunity as it relates to sanctuary-related civil action would be subject to the withholding of certain Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.

The Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act is a direct response to a growing number of sanctuary jurisdictions across the nation (including North Carolina’s Buncombe, Cumberland, Durham, Forsyth, Guilford, Mecklenburg, and Wake Counties) that either have official sanctuary policies or are refusing to comply with detainer requests and release notifications from the Department of Homeland Security.

Earlier this month, the Mecklenburg County (NC) Sheriff’s Office refused to notify ICE and comply with a lawful detainer request when it released a dangerous illegal immigrant from county jail who was charged with multiple domestic violence charges for strangling a woman and threatening to kill her. This was only one of more than 20 troubling instances this year of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office releasing potentially dangerous individuals after refusing to comply with detainer requests. The reckless sanctuary policy prompted criticism from the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.

“It’s disturbing to see sheriffs across North Carolina establish sanctuary jurisdictions, releasing dangerous individuals back into communities while refusing to notify federal immigration officials,” said Senator Thom Tillis. “If politicians want to prioritize reckless sanctuary policies over public safety, they should also be willing to provide just compensation for the victims. The Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act is commonsense legislation that will enhance public safety and hold sanctuary jurisdictions accountable for their refusal to cooperate with federal law enforcement.”

“A good piece of legislation that is long overdue,” said Senator Lindsey Graham. “There must be consequences for governments and entities that gamble with public safety, refuse to work with federal officials, and refuse to deal with felons here illegally. This legislation empowers individuals who are the victims of these entities and governments’ poor decisions.”

“If state and local public officials jeopardize the safety and security of the American people by refusing to comply with federal immigration law, they should be held to account by our citizens when such reckless endangerment leads to more violent crime,” said Senator Chuck Grassley. “We are a nation of laws. Whether you are a citizen, immigrant or even a local government, disregarding those laws should carry consequences.”

“Sanctuary jurisdictions are failing to cooperate with law enforcement authorities, jeopardizing the safety of our communities,” said Senator Joni Ernst. “This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. Our commonsense bill will put a check on these sanctuary jurisdictions, provide a pathway for victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants to seek justice, and enhance and promote public safety.”

Our nation’s laws exist for a reason. When a sanctuary city or state recklessly decides to harbor illegal immigrants who may commit crimes against innocent Americans, the families of those victims deserve the right to seek compensation from those jurisdictions,” said Senator Marsha Blackburn. “It’s time we put the public safety of our citizens above the sanctuary of an immigrant who has come to our country illegally.”

“The American people, and Texas communities in particular, are tired of seeing our federal immigration laws flouted and criminal illegal immigrants enabled to commit future crimes and escape prosecution,” said Senator Ted Cruz. “Sanctuary cities and their policies are a dangerous affront to the rule of law, and only exasperate the crisis at our border. I am proud to join my colleagues in holding these jurisdictions accountable, and will continue working to enforce our federal immigration laws and ensure the safety and security of the American people.”

Illinois demorat governor cancels band from fair lineup over Confederate flag

From MyFoxChicago: Country rock band Confederate Railroad has been barred from performing at an Illinois state fair because of its use of the Confederate flag, setting off a firestorm by southern Illinois fans who believe they’re under Chicago liberals’ thumb of political correctness.

The band was scheduled to appear Aug. 27 at the DuQuoin State Fair, but Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s administration canceled the appearance last week.

“This administration’s guiding principle is that the state of Illinois will not use state resources to promote symbols of racism,” Pritzker spokeswoman Emily Bittner said. “Symbols of hate cannot and will not represent the values of the Land of Lincoln.”

The logo for the Grammy-nominated band, known for acoustic ballads such as “Jesus and Mama” as well as its raucous anthem, “Trashy Women,” features a steam engine from which waves dual Confederate Navy Jacks, whose stars and bars are the most widely recognized symbol of the Confederacy.

The banner has been attacked in recent years as a racist emblem of slavery and segregation. Supporters say it represents history and southern heritage.

The flare-up in DuQuoin, 87 miles southeast of St. Louis, rekindles a centuries-old rift in Illinois, whose southern tip reaches far into the confines of the old Confederacy and is home to a more traditional and conservative culture than that represented by Chicago Democrat Pritzker. Routinely, the region spawns legislation to make Chicago a separate state.

Joe McKinney, who has contacted Confederate Railroad about performing at his family’s banquet facility in DeSoto because of the group’s popularity, said the band has never used the flag to fan racial strife. “It’s just their logo. It’s just their southern pride,” McKinney said. But McKinney’s attempt to land the band goes beyond symbolism.

“In the southern part of this state, we suffer from a lot of decisions made from Chicago …,” McKinney said. “In addition to trying to bring the people what they want, we’re also trying to prove a point to northern Illinois: You don’t own everything.”

Confederate Railroad frontman Danny Shirley said in a statement Tuesday that the news “was very disappointing as we have played this fair before and enjoyed it.” He thanked supportive fans but dissuaded them from asking Restless Heart and Shenandoah, who are still scheduled for Aug. 27, to be no-shows.

Shenandoah released a statement saying it would appear, but added, “This ‘political correctness’ has to stop. It’s tearing our country apart.”

Rep. Terri Bryant, a Republican from Murphysboro, said a Facebook campaign to boycott the fair is ill-advised. A private festival for 70 years before the state purchased it in 1985, the DuQuoin fair is struggling to recover. So is the larger state fair in Springfield earlier in August, from a two-year budget stalemate and a boycott would hinder nonprofits who have substantial fundraisers there, Bryant said.

Bryant met with top Pritzker aides Monday in Chicago about the issue. Among other things, she pointed out that Snoop Dogg, who’s appearing at the state fair in Springfield, is promoting his latest album, “Make America Crip Again,” whose cover features the rapper standing over a corpse toe-tagged with Republican President Donald Trump’s name.

Bryant said she doesn’t support the Confederate flag, but is trying to limit government censorship.
“If you’re going to censor Confederate Railroad because it’s offensive to people, then censor the other entertainer with the depiction of a dead president that many people here love.”

Insanity in Seattle: Police arrest naked man after he stabs three people downtown

I’ll bet $1,000 that this perp has previous charges. Because we all know how well Seattle and King County take care of their criminals in the name of “criminal justice reform.”

From MyNorthwest.com: A man stabbed three people in downtown Seattle Tuesday morning, seemingly unprovoked and at random, before fleeing naked down the street as police pursued, eventually taking him into custody.

“We know he attacked three people randomly … we were able to get here quickly which is fortunate,” said Sergeant Sean Whitcomb with the Seattle Police Department.

Three men were stabbed: 77-year-old man stabbed in the back. Transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition; 75-year-old man stabbed in the neck. Transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition; and 55-year-old man stabbed in the forearm. Did not want to be taken to the hospital and was treated at the scene. He is in stable condition.

Seattle police were called to the scene near 1617 6th Avenue at 10:07 a.m. after reports of a stabbing on the sidewalk. One victim fled into a nearby business after being stabbed. By 10:20 a.m., the suspect, an adult male, was in custody near 8th Avenue and Olive Street. He was uninjured.

The man was fully clothed when the attack happened and then removed his clothing as he fled the scene.

“The suspect was naked upon apprehension” Whitcomb said. “I don’t know what his motive was, but he is in custody and is being questioned by police.”

“We tracked him down a couple blocks away before he could hurt anyone else,” he said. “… It is a tragedy that a stabbing like this happened, but he is in custody. We have our investigators working on this case and we are going to do everything that we can with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to ensure that this suspect is charged and experiences the full weight of the law.”

Whitcomb said that the man did attempt to get rid of the weapon so investigators would not find it, but they were able to recover the knife and the suspect’s clothing in the area.

The suspect’s name and other details will be released when he is booked into King County Jail. Whitcomb said that could be later Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing.

————————–
And I KNEW IT: Police arrest 30-year-old Christopher Morisette.

Even before they announced this perp’s name, I looked up recent bookings in the King County Jail and I just knew it was this guy. His arrest record:

Today: Assault. Bail denied.
8/31/2018: Burglary, theft & criminal trespassing. Released from jail 9/29/2018.
11/15/2018: Assault. Charge reduced. Released from jail 1/01/2019.

In an update from MyNorthwest.com: Morisette “has an extensive criminal history and spent time at Western State, the state’s largest psychiatric hospital.” His most recent case involved an attack against a woman at a mental health facility. At the time, the Seattle City Attorney’s Office gave Morisette credit for time served, and released him from jail less than a month after the incident.

According to Heavy (see his crazy mug at the link), the perp’s first arrest was in 2012 and he’s been labeled as “High Violent With Multiple Violent Offenses” by the Washington State Department of Corrections.

Tess shares a pic of her fat ass to highlight her “struggles”

From Daily Mail: Tess Holliday marked her 34th birthday with a confident and sizzling nude snap, days after revealing she identifies as ‘pansexual’.

Posting an update to her Instagram stories, the body positive activist also claimed she has experienced anxiety and trouble sleeping for multiple nights, asking followers to send tips for ‘stress-related insomnia’.

These updates come just one week after the married plus-size model told Nylon magazine that she has recently been ‘figuring out’ her sexuality and her relationship to her ‘queerness’.

Since the interview became public, the Mississippi-born star has shared a series of heartfelt posts in defiance of those who told her she would ‘never amount to anything’.

The mom-of-two also proclaimed that ‘being a visibly fat model/public figure’ is ‘exhausting as hell’ and she longs for the day where marginalized people won’t ‘unnecessarily offend’ the world.

Tess told followers that her only wish for her birthday is that they will look in the mirror and love what they see. The self-claimed ‘proud trailer trash’ promoted the idea that ‘self love can change the damn world’ as she posed in multiple swimwear looks.

Tess celebrated Independence Day with social media sensation and actress Chelcie Lynn in San Diego, California.

Her husband, Australian artist Nick Holliday, joined in the fun, posing in a mullet and red bandana on Instagram. ‘What’s more American than wearing a mullet next to your loud, wide, obnoxious, amazing wife,’ he caption the image of the couple.

This week also marks the Los Angeles-based couple’s fourth wedding anniversary.

The model graced the cover of Nylon magazine’s July 2019 digital issue in a flirty yellow swimsuit, and during her interview, she recalled recently chatting with a man at a hotel pool in Mexico when he asked if she was bisexual.

‘I said, ‘Thank you so much for asking. I’ve been thinking a lot about my relationship to my own queerness, and I think the word pansexual speaks to me more than bi does,’ she said, but it turned out the guy was only asking if she was ‘buying’ — not ‘bi.’

Tess isn’t exactly sure how to describe her sexual identity, but the interaction is proof that it is something that has been on her mind.

I am so sick of this obese womyn who experiences “anxiety” due to her inability to put down a freaking cheeseburger.

I’ve had just about ENOUGH of this COW and her claims of perpetual victimhood.

You want to talk about “exhausting,” you fat womyn?

You want to talk about “looking in the mirror and loving what they see,” you fat womyn?

You want to talk about people who would “never amount to anything,” you fat womyn?

You, Tess Holliday, are nothing but a self-serving, narcissistic, egotistical FAT womyn trying to justify your own indulgences while ignoring the REAL sacrifices humans around the world live with EVERYDAY.

Enjoy your Instagram fame you self-centered, FAT woman.

Libtard Sarah Jessica Parker says an actor’s uncomfortable, sexually-charged behavior “almost” caused her to walk off set

Sarah Jessica Parker with her idol…

Key word being “almost.”

What’s the point of bringing this up if you aren’t going to name the culprit? She’s now a big-time actress/producer worth $100 million. What’s she got to lose?

Such a cowardly act to claim you support the #MeToo movement when you don’t have the cajones to hold those responsible for their “inappropriate” acts.

Just another sympathy/attention-seeking actress who allows inappropriate behaviors to continue while not being wholly committed to the true victims of the #MeToo movement.

From Daily Mail: Sarah Jessica Parker says she once told producers she would leave the set to end the ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘inappropriate’ sexually-charged behavior of a powerful actor.

The Sex and The City actress, 54, recalled her experience as part of a larger discussion in wake of the #MeToo movement during an interview on NPR’s Fresh Air on Thursday.

She didn’t reveal which film or TV project she was working on when the incident occurred, but said her agent bought her a one way ticket to get out of the city where she was filming in the event the situation didn’t improve.

Parker is most famous for her role as Carrie Bradshaw which she starred in from 1998 until 2004 alongside Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

And despite her star status on one of TV’s hottest shows of the era, screen star Sarah said she could still feel a sense of gender imbalance on some of the projects she worked on.

‘I think no matter how evolved or how modern I thought I was … I didn’t feel entirely in a position – no matter what my role was on set – I didn’t feel as powerful as the man who was behaving inappropriately,’ she explained.

She added: ‘It strikes me as just stunning to say out loud, because there were plenty of occasions where it was happening and I was in a different position and I was as powerful. I mean, I had every right to say, “This is inappropriate.” I could have felt safe in going to a superior.’

Parker said that in one instance, she had her agent let producers know she was going to leave production and not return if she continued to feel ‘uncomfortable’ by the movie star.

‘And, in fact, I will say, when there was a situation with somebody and I did go to my agent. I felt I was no longer able to convey how uncomfortable this was making me, how inappropriate it was,’ she said, adding that ‘within hours, everything had changed.’

Parker said her agent made clear that she would quit the production if the conduct was allowed to continue. ‘He said to them, “If this continues, I have sent her a ticket, a one-way ticket out of this city” – where I was shooting – “and she will not be returning.”‘

‘I didn’t have to listen to jokes about me or my figure or what people thought they could talk me into doing – you know, all these men, all these men,’ she continued. ‘That stopped.’

Parker added that it was clear the instigator of the harassment wasn’t ever going to change because he had seemingly been that way for a long time.’He was baked, meaning his personality; it was cooked,’ she said. ‘And he was a formed person, and that wasn’t going to change. But I felt certainly better and safer, like I could finish what I had agreed to do.’

Parker said she revisited what she had endured earlier in her career in wake of the #MeToo movement.
