Hawaii’s new hippy-dippy governor, Neil Abercrombie, a socialist, recently bashed “birthers” for doubting Obama’s birth eligibility for the presidency and vowed he would silence those dastard skeptics once and for all. Alas, Abercrombie now admits he — the Governor of Hawaii — can’t find Obama’s long-form birth certificate!
That is most curious because two years ago, on October 31 2008, Director of Hawaii’s Department of Health (DOH) Dr. Chiyome Fukino declared that she and Registrar of Vital Statistics Alvin Onaka had personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate. More than that, Fukino claimed to have seen that elusive document with her own eyeballs!:
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”
More curious still is the fact that sometime after the midterm elections of November 2, 2010, delivered Obama-buddy Abercrombie as Hawaii’s new governor, blogger Citizen WElls discovered, on December 7, that Fukino was no longer DOH director!
Now that Abercrombie has admitted he can’t find Obama’s original birth certificate, does this make Abercrombie a birther? LOL

Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily reports on January 18, 2011:
Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president’s chances of re-election in 2012.
Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie’s spokeswoman in Honolulu, ignored again today another in a series of repeated requests made by WND for an interview with the governor.
Toward the end of the interview, the newspaper asked Abercrombie: “You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama’s birth certificate. How is that coming?”
In his response, Abercrombie acknowledged the birth certificate issue will have “political implications” for the next presidential election “that we simply cannot have.”
