Another reason to avoid Gillette: Ad shows father teaching “transgender son” how to shave

Procter & Gamble devoted to being as “woke” as possible.

From NY Post: A new Gillette ad released last week Thursday features a transgender man shaving for the first time.

Samson Bonkeabantu Brown, a Toronto-based artist, shares the personal on-camera experience with his father, who coaches him through the significant life moment.

“Now, don’t be scared,” his father warns. “Shaving is about being confident.”

“Growing up, I was always trying to figure out what kind of man I wanted to become and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of man that I want to become,” says Brown, who addresses his transition through manhood.

Gillette shared the new ad on Facebook with the caption “Whenever, wherever, however it happens.” It continues the company’s marketing campaign addressing masculinity, which was first launched in January with its previous ad focused on “toxic masculinity.”

The Procter & Gamble-owned company used the previous ad to tackle its slogan, “The Best a Man Can Get,” addressing issues of harassment, bullying and men’s mental health.

The ad sparked mixed reactions as some praised Gillette for tackling the topic, while others criticized the company for using a social movement to sell razors.

Since she is wondering, there is a word, or rather a term, for what Bonkeabantu is: severely mentally ill. She will probably be dead by her own hand within ten years. Too bad Gillette doesn’t mention that. But that might offend someone. A total boycott of P&G products is in order. But what of the New England Patriots who play at Gillette Stadium? When will they draft the first TG pro football player? Rest assured, it’s coming. Welcome to Cloud Cuckoo Land. Shaving, by the way, isn’t “about” anything. It’s about shaving. Can we get back to reality now?

What’s a “Bonkeabantu”? Sounds like too many hours spent reading “Roots”. When Gillette reintroduces the “straight” razor, we’re in trouble! Nothing scarier than a bearded, angry tranny with a straight razor.

And Gillette gets double social credit points for using a “minority” TG. And creepy feels-based music. Cover all the bases. If Samson Bokeabantu (WTF?) had stayed female she wouldn’t have to worry about shaving. But then she wouldn’t develop confidence, and as Uncle Tom informs us here, shaving is ‘about” confidence. Frustrating for me because I can’t even boycott Gillette, I buy Dollar General shaving products. Like once a year. This is so sick. DCG warned us but I’m still feeling physically ill

Hey, you need to get out more. You know? Catch up. In today’s advertising EVERYBODY’S black, or some hard-to-define “ethnic”. The stupid one is the white guy. Now, it makes no difference that the demographics don’t support this portrayal. No, in kinky, weirdo world EVERYBODY is “other than white”. YT is …., The Enemy. This has been going on for some time. Look at those “reality shows”, rap ‘music’, Satanic symbolism, conditioning as “news”. This is a massive brainwashing effort and we’re right in the middle of it. It looks to me as if we’ve reached the point where they… Read more »

Oh yes, the Mao-Mao’s are being pumped. Mike Adams opines that the flash point will be Trump invoking the Insurrection Act and the kill teams will then be unleashed. To be opposed by armed patriots. I hope not but it’s sure looking that way. And adverts are all negroes all the time, or ethnics. They even have negro women portrayed as financial advisers now. Almost funny if it wasn’t so serious. Yes, powder dry and exercise utmost restraint. It’s just possible we may avoid a bloodbath. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst

That’s right my friend. We don’t have to like it. We’d be foolish not to prepare for it. It’s good to be self-reliant.

Yeah, it’s too late. But at least they are crawling out of the shadows and showing their true colors now. The lines are being clearly drawn, sanity/insanity, good/evil, light/darkness. And us yanks are armed

That’s because they think they’ve nothing to fear. Of course, they are notorious for hubris. It gets them every time. If this follows their usual pattern they’ll get their asses handed to them.

Hyping the social engineering. How obvious can you get? They are out to destroy those white, heterosexual Christians and they’re “virtue signaling” the fact on TV. It wasn’t too many years ago that I don’t think you could have gotten this broadcast. Even though I firmly believe that “profit” has nothing to do with this, NOBODY should buy anything from them and their stockholders should be notified. They should do this anyway, just as many other companies have, even though it hurts their bottom line. From another angle, these are publicly traded companies who’s investors expect them to wisely use… Read more »

Me too. No corporate marketing director in their right mind would approve an advertising campaign like this. Corporations are too cautious and bottom-line focused. They cant be looking to appeal to the TG demographic because it doesn’t exist, just a tiny minority of very sick indoctrinated people. They don’t care that sales and profits will take a hit now, they are going all out. This crap is way, way, way over the line

I used to have to brief the investors every quarter. This would give me nightmares. That’s why I say somebody is compensating them another way.

Just how many trannies and other bizarre mental cases are out there? Are there more than “normal” people? What sort of “strategy” would this be?

It’s a sad commentary on the times we live in that promoting severe mental illness and self-mutilation should be considered virtuous

What, the shemale never shaved its legs/armpits/other regions before with a Gillette razor? ?

The razor still works the same way.

Henry Ford said of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, “The only statement I wish to make about The Protocols is they fit in with everything that is going on.”

First J.C. Penney, then Target, Starbucks, other companies and now Gillette. Don’t sweat it, they’re just getting started. My problem is that Gillette has always been the brand that worked for me. Other razors don’t fit in my hand right or feel as comfortable. What to do???

Either try Harry’s, or get a generic blade that’ll fit the Gillette handle. For example, you can get Equate razor blades @ Walmart. They fit the Gillette Mach 3, do a good job, and they’re a lot CHEAPER than the Gillette blades. You can get like a pack of five refills for less than 6 or 7 dollars.

Proctor and Gamble have many companies under their control. Some of the more notable are: Always, Bounty, Charmin, Cheer, Citrus Hill, CoverGirl, Crest, Dawn, Downy, Febreze, Gain, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Iams, Ivory, Joy, Luvs, Mr. Clean, Nice ‘n Easy, Olay, Old Spice, Oral-B, Pampers, Pantene, Puffs, Rembrandt toothpaste, Vidal Sassoon, Scope, Secret, Swiffer, Tampax, Tide. This company controls the grocery store shelves. My family uses 15 of their brands. It will be interesting next time shopping to see if I can switch from all 15. I will miss Charmin the most, my wife loves Downy, my kids use Crest… Read more »
