Another Lib Talker Says SEALs Should Go After Bush

I think if a GOB made this state ment the Secrete Service would be knockin on your door.

From NewsBusters:

If any American with a patriotic pulse listened to the Mike Malloy radio show, they would have been shocked on Monday night when Malloy outrageously suggested that Navy SEALs should have shot former president George W. Bush, and not Osama bin Laden. (MP3 audio clip here.)
MIKE MALLOY: I have heard some commentators talk about the fact that, all the lives that have been lost in this war on terror, and now the summary execution of the person responsible. But as soon as I heard that, I thought, well, bin Laden really didn’t have anything to do — did he? — with Iraq. And I think his only relationship with Afghanistan was geographical.
But Iraq — all the death in Iraq was not caused by bin Laden. The death in Iraq was caused by George W. Bush. Five thousand Americans, tens of thousands permanently damaged and shot to pieces, a million Iraqis dead — that wasn’t bin Laden. That was George Bush. So when does Seal Unit 6, or whatever it’s called, drop in on George Bush? Bush was responsible for a lot more death, innocent death, than bin Laden. Wasn’t he, or am I wrong here?

  1. This is absolutely disgusting. I concur that the war in Iraq was inappropriate but this verbal attack should be investigated.

  2. does anyone even listen to this fool?
Guess this lib didn’t hear about O’s call for civility…

  3. Just discovered your site by accident and so I’m poking around.
Has it occurred to you that conservatives use violent rhetoric against liberals too? So why is it that when a liberal does it, it’s “all liberals are hateful/violent and this should be investigated”?
Here’s a revolutionary idea: PEOPLE say stupid things. Whether they label themselves with a ‘R’ or ‘D’ has nothing to do with it. When a person says something stupid or hateful or violent, they and only THEY should be judged for it because they don’t represent anyone else’s views.
And FYI, I’m not saying liberals don’t do this either. As I said, people say stupid things on both ends of the political spectrum. It’s not about their party, it’s about them.
My hope in saying that is to spread some peace because this ‘D vs R’ fight is hurting this country more than the Democratic Party (as you like to believe) or the Republican Party (as some others believe) alone, but a quick look at the blog post titles on the right of my screen indicates that you all desperately want to hate anything labelled ‘D’ and are probably too far gone on the dark side. I probably just wasted my time on this, so I’ll cut my losses and not come back to this site.
The last thing I’ll add (in a desperate bid to shine some light in a dark alley), please think about WHY you believe what you do. For example, there are posts indicating that some of you believe Obama’s birth certificate is fake. Would you still have the same view if this same exact situation was imposed on Bush (or whomever you like)? What if Obama’s father was from France or Germany (if your problem is Obama’s race)? Make sure that the problems you have are real problems and not just desperate bids to find something negative to say about a liberal.

    • This is not to encourage you to return here because your supercilious attitude is insufferable:
To answer your question: “Would you still have the same view if this same exact situation was imposed on Bush (or whomever you like)?”
My answer is: “Absolutely!” If another presidential candidate — white, black, brown, yellow, or chartreuse — were as secretive and non-transparent about his past, and had ordered all his life documents and records (including his kindergarten school records, for Zeus’ sake!) sealed on his inauguration day, the same time as he promised an administration of “transparency”, I would ask the same questions and write the same posts I’ve been writing for the past 3 years. Absolutely!”
      That’s why I’m registered a non-partisan Independent.

  4. I think that Malloy is a senile old goat.
