Albert Einstein’s theory about how fast the universe is expanding has been proved correct by British scientists who praised his “incredible accuracy”. He was known for words and phrases and here are 10 of his best quotes.

  1. As an investor my favorite Einstein quote is – “The most powerful force in the universe is compound interest.”

  2. Here’s one appropriate for our current socio-political quagmire: “Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking.”

  3. I read his Autobiography when I was in HS, and if I recall correctly, he sheepishly admitted he was such a pushover to salespeople that when he lived in his ground floor house in Princeton, he signed a sales contract to buy an elevator chair ride…. I don’t know if it ever went through.
