Agenda 21: Take Action Against Smart Growth – Tell Your Congress to Defund EPA

The pro-Agenda 21/Smart Growth gurus have sent out an Urgent Alert calling for action to maintain funding for their Sustainable Development Communities experiments.
It appears that they are compiling a mailing list.  Clicking the links below takes you to the Smart Growth website where you contact your Congressman through their portal.  Talk about control freaks!      LTG

“..If new development threatened to pollute your drinking water, who would you look to for help? If your children had to walk past a contaminated empty lot on their way to school, how would you go about fixing it?
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Sustainable Communities helps towns and cities address these kinds of problems. These issues pose a threat not only to our health but to our economy, and the Office of Sustainable Communities helps local leaders protect both.
But now the Office itself is in danger. Congress is debating funding for fiscal year 2012, and now is a crucial time to tell your Members of Congress that you support these important programs.
Please take a moment to voice your support: email your Members of Congress today.
The EPA’s Office of Sustainable Communities does more than just protect air and water quality. The Office helps communities develop in ways that are fiscally sound and support their economy for decades to come. And as part of the federal Partnership for Sustainable Communities, the Office also helps make the most of taxpayer investments.
Tell Congress that you do  support the work of the EPA: send an email today.
Emailing your Members of Congress is easy and only takes a few minutes, but your letter could make all the difference. Please take a moment to email Congress today.
Sincerely,
Geoff Anderson

  1. Howard T. Lewis III

If the EPA had worked as designed, the Deepwater Horizon blowout could have been averted. Nice try, asshole.

  2. It’s tragic that people still have faith in Congress.
We can’t expect them to do anything until the back of the oligarchical system is broken. The only way to do that is to reinstate the Glass Steagall standard. HR 1489 is sitting in the House of Reps waiting to be heard, THE RETURN TO PRUDENT BANKING ACT which will cut the bank cartels off from their access to taxpayer’s money.
This principle should then be applied globally which will give us an opening through which to pass from this nightmare into the light of another day of sanity, in which the fundamental principle of a Credit System as defined in the US Constitution can be resorted to, under Article 1 Section 8. We have to get back to the last known point of sanity in order to go forward.

  3. This is a SCAM they say they want you to defund the program but the letter reads otherwise!!!!! It wants you to endorse the UN Agenda 21. Wake up people read before you sign away more of your rights!!!! Semper Fi.

    • Vic, I think you mis-read the post. I titled the post calling to “defund” the EPA.
Then I posted the letter by the president of “Smart Growth America” to show the propaganda the pro-Agenda 21 group is putting out calling for action to lobby Congress to re-authorize EPA funding.
