Before It’s News
Sept 24, 2011
At mid-day on Friday, September 23, 2011, the popular alternative news blog,, was taken offline. Activist Post receives over one million views per month and has been hosted by Google’s Blogger since its founding in June 2010.
“We remain puzzled as to why Activist Post was erased completely by Google,” said chief editor and co-founder Michael Edwards. “When we tried to load our back-up file into our secondary Blogger account, that was blocked as well,” he added.
It remains unclear whether Google has acted to censor for their controversial reporting. Google is becoming somewhat notorious for clamping down on truth and liberty activists, of which Activist Post is known for.
“Clearly, this is a huge set back for us and the work we do,” said co-founder Eric Blair. “Our entire crew is working on resolving the issue and restoring the website. We certainly look forward to an explanation from Google.”

  1. my fellowship e-mails did not come thru this morning-

    • really,I have been trying to resign and it won’t accept. also,my computer stalling at every conservative news site I go to. hmmm

    • The NSA’s selective filter system tracks word usage; when certain ones occur their back door browser then flashes an alert to some mindless minion before a screen, who then sends it to another spy agency and you/your site are put on a list. The list is prioritised to find suspicious linkages and occurrences, but because the standards are completely unConstitutional, all manner of innocent, unrelated stuff gets picked up and filed. As Rummy famously demanded: “Sweep it up. Sweep it all up,” in regard of putting together a fictive case for invading Iraq.

  2. And this is why I despise those commies at Google. I avoid that browser at all costs.

    • Here in Canada we have a small high tech firm in Vancouver whose main income is creating search engines for large institutions such as universities and hospitals. Because it is based on “cloud computing”, it can give you an “inside peek” into the site before you go there. This is IMMENSELY helpful and time-saving, as you get some idea of what the site’s about w/o going there, etc., or infecting your computer w/a nasty bug.
The company is Sprylogics: I liked it so much I bought 10,000 shares! No, not kidding, I really did. It’s called CLUUZ: put that in yr browser, locate it, then follow the simple instructions to set it up. Here are key features:
NO ADS EVER!! None in any way, shape, or form.
      Illustrative icons give you a peep inside the files/site w/o opening it/them;
rankings of sites are given at the top before you set out, so you can see what others found useful; and
cloud computing sidebars show related links, etc.
There’s a great deal more, and it’s all FREE! The company simply gave it to the world as shareware, in the traditional Canadian spirit of sharing God’s many gifts to us all. ENJOY to the max!!

  3. When I get back into it, I am going to move my blog over to wordpress.
Google is also cooperating with foreign governments like the Chicoms that heavily censor the Internet in their countries.
    Google just sucks.
It will be interesting to see if they get their site back up.

  4. Everyone move your blogs to wordpress. You can use wordpress com for free or you can have your own wordpress site on a server for less than $100 per year.

  5. just finally got thru!:)
