A Weighty Goal…

Susanne before major weight gain

I’m supersizing to be the world’s fattest woman

There’s a woman in Arizona, obese model Susanne Eman, who has set a goal to reach 1,600 lbs.  “I’d love to find out if it’s humanly possible to reach a ton,’ she said. ‘A previous record holder was 1,600lbs, so I have to be at least that.” She currently weighs 700 pounds and hopes to reach 800 lbs by the end of the year.
She added: “The bigger I get, the better I feel. I feel more confident and sexy. Why shouldn’t I push the limits and see how fat I can get and stay healthy?”
Susanne’s bizarre mission began after she couldn’t stop gaining weight naturally.  “Two years ago I was losing my battle against weight gain,’ she said. “I noticed I actually started attracting more men, and it made me feel good.

Susanne going for her goal

The unemployed single mother – who cannot work because of her weight – claims she stays active by doing simple exercises and having regular health checks. “I go for a waddle and do stretches and exercises every day,” she said. “My muscles need to hold up to my weight, so I have to stay strong. I take my blood pressure once a week, and every day, after I exercise, I take readings of my other vitals. I use a pulse oximeter to measure the concentration of oxygen in my blood stream. And I take my blood sugar levels just like a diabetic. If either of the readings go above a certain level, I’ll immediately contact my doctor for advice. I haven’t gone near the danger zones yet though.
Dr. Flite said Susanne’s medical checks showed no current problems, adding: “She’s capable of making her own decisions.  I don’t see any psychiatric problems or anything else wrong.”
“I want to break the stigma that being fat is a bad thing,” she said. “I remind other fat people that it is OK for them to be that way. The message I want to get across is for people to accept others for who they are.”
Why I can accept her statement that she is comfortable with the way she is, even more “confident and sexy”, I really have to wonder if she is lacking some self-esteem.  This woman is way beyond fat, it’s just downright obese.  Losing weight is a struggle for many women, yet for her to decide to give up and go the other direction isn’t normal.  I certainly don’t know one woman who would choose that path!
I also wonder about her inability to work because of her weight.  Does she not have the drive to work and provide well for her children?  How is she going to pay for their college educations?  What kind of example is she setting for them?  And how much tax dollars are involved with this massive amount of food?
Good to know she has set a goal for herself though.  This just isn’t a goal that I would be proud of.

  1. Or so she says. Of course, there are men who have a fetish for fatties, the fatter the “better.”
How any doctor can say this woman isn’t mentally ill is beyond me. She committing slow suicide, eating herself to death — all while being supported by taxpayers. What a great country America is.

    • Exactly what I thought!!! It’s the same thing as abusing alkohol or drugs, it’s a self destruction behavior at it’s best!!! The funny thing is that she wonders how fat she can get while staying healthy! I’m sorry, but she is not healthy!!! And i’m not even going to comment on the chubby chaser part! That’s plain scary to think about!

I bet if the government would cut off the food stamps, welfare checks or whatever is supporting her, she might muster up enough energy to stop this lunacy. She should forget about her gut and think about the children. What type of life will they have with a mountain for a mother who could drop dead in a heartbeat. We seem to be inundated with narcissistic types these days who are borderline sociopaths on the loose.

    • If you click on the first link, at the bottom of the article is a sample of what she eats in a day – almost 22,000 calories. That’s what I probably eat in two weeks. GAG
“Susanne visits the supermarket once a month with sons Gabriel, 16, and Brendin, 12, and spends up to eight hours filling six trollies.”

  3. I wouldn’t if you paid me.

    • sage,
LOL – Okay, I’ll freely admit that, back in the day I committed not a few, err, indiscretions.
Okay, I committed a lot of ’em.
But that’s not important right now.
What is important is that I did have at least a certain level of standards I tried to maintain. 🙂

    • Besides, I only buy flour 2 lbs at a time.
LOL – Not buy the barrel full.

  4. chickaboom Dave!!! lol.
