Something tells me a combination of Alcohol, Recreational Drugs, Joblessness, Mental Illness, Living in their Parent’s Basement, etc., had something to do with the car. Oh, and a Title Loan.

Darn right, Chem….I attest, as a middle school teacher, that I write notes to the office in cursive to be delivered by a volunteer student,& for years have not had to fold over/staple it shut to protect the message.They can’t read cursive.It is a secret code these days to anyone younger than, say, 30, or even 40. I’ve MANY times remarked we could type up a new Constitution with anything in it you could dream up, & no one of certain generations would be able to compare it to the cursive, original Constitution to see if it was accurate. Interesting thing about that, as a technophile… I’ve played with software that can read hand writing and convert it to editable text for decades, even worked on an early version with IBM. At first, the product could read only perfectly *typed* laser print outs, in special block lettering (“OCR-A” or “OCR-B” fonts). Over about a decade, it improved to be able to read basic hand-printed text. About 10 or 15 years later, and now it’s able to read and convert my cursive writing… and mine’s not that elegant. And every single bit of this “New World Data and Communication” can be wiped out in a moment’s cyber-attack…as well as your modern car’s computer brain. If you have a pre-1968 gas-guzzler running, a motorcycle, an old tractor, or a bike, you might be able to travel after that. You won’t even have a cell phone or computer or iPad, whatever. That is one of their plans, get everyone online with banking/shopping/communicating and then if they don’t do what the boss says, they’ll delete them.
