For those times when the news is so overwhelmingly depressing…..
Made me cry. Every March, I go to L.A., for Tolkien Reading Day. One of the days I’m there, my friends take me to the beach for a barefoot walk in the surf. This is as close as I’m going to be with having to cancel my trip because of the layoff. Thanks for sharing, so I could be there virtually.
I’m glad to spread the cheer. 🙂 Prayers for you to find a job soon.
Thank you, Candance.
Wish I was out a few feet with a crab net. 🙂
We pause now for a message from our Creator….
Thank you, Candance!!!
and thanks a big bunch for being our wonderful writer and a natural instinctive reporter.
Thanks Candance, brought back pleasant memories, I grew up in Chesapeake, very close to Virginia Beach and I spent many summers there and I cruised Atlantic and Pacific Avenues as a teenager. I know it has changed a lot since those days, but some things never change.
I lived in Virginia Beach for 3 months in the late 1960s. Unfortunately, it was during the stormy season of late autumn so I didn’t spend much time on the beach. This little interlude makes me realize how much I missed!
