The latest (today, June 25, 2011) Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that 4 out of 10 American voters (40%) Strongly Disapprove of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president, with only 23% of America’s voters Strongly Approve.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of Obama’s performance, whereas 53% say they at least somewhat disapprove.

Despite Obama’s announcement on Wednesday that the United States will withdraw 10,000 troops from Afghanistan this year and will bring another 23,000 home by the end of next summer, most voters don’t think Obama is going far enough. 51% of Likely U.S. Voters want all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan within a year.

No doubt, the percentage is even higher for the undeclared war in Libya.

I question the poll numbers too but I still know some people who like him. I don’t understand why! I believe they are well meaning but they are individuals who watch the mainstream media for their informtion and don’t go farther for clarification. Though they are all highly intelligent they are trusting and not into politics. Believe me I do my best to educate them though there are times when it isn’t appropriate for me to foster an argument. Even those who still admire him question his actions and policies sometimes so there is hope. Fortunately almost all of my… Read more »
