Supreme Court rejects appeal, allows Arkansas to enforce abortion restrictions

planned parenthood and nra sign

Baby murderers Planned Parenthood is not happy with this decision. Too bad, so sad.

From Yahoo: In a setback to abortion rights advocates, the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday paved the way for Republican-backed restrictions on medication-induced abortions to take effect in Arkansas that could lead to the shuttering of two of the state’s three abortion clinics.

The nine justices, with no noted dissents, declined to hear an appeal by abortion provider Planned Parenthood of a lower court ruling that had revived the 2015 state law, which sets regulations regarding the RU-486 “abortion pill,” after it was earlier struck down by a federal judge. The law had remained blocked pending the outcome of the appeal to the Supreme Court.

Unless Planned Parenthood obtains a new injunction from a federal judge blocking the law – the group said it will seek such an order immediately – the state can enforce the statute, one of the most restrictive abortion measures in the United States.

Planned Parenthood, which contends that the law would ban medication abortion in Arkansas, also said it is telling patients they can no longer access medication abortions at its two clinics in the state. The only other abortion clinic in Arkansas, Little Rock Family Planning Services in the state capital, offers both surgical and medication abortions.

“This law cannot and must not stand. We will not stop fighting for every person’s right to access safe, legal abortion,” said Dawn Laguens, Planned Parenthood’s executive vice president.

The Supreme Court in 1973 legalized abortion nationwide, but many Republican-governed states have passed laws seeking to impose a variety of restrictions, some so demanding that they may shut down abortion clinics and make the procedure far more difficult to obtain.

“As Attorney General, I have fully defended this law at every turn and applaud the Supreme Court’s decision against Planned Parenthood today. Protecting the health and well-being of women and the unborn will always be a priority,” Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, a Republican, said in a statement.

The justices, in a 2016 ruling, struck down a restrictive Republican-backed Texas law that had targeted abortion clinics and doctors in a decision that was seen as reaffirming and fortifying legal protections for abortion rights. Planned Parenthood had claimed the appeals court ruling in the Arkansas case had disregarded the precedent set in the Texas case.

The St. Louis-based 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals restored the law last year, reversing a 2016 ruling by a district court judge that had prevented it from going into effect.

Planned Parenthood Great Plains sued the state in 2015, saying the law would deprive many Arkansas women of their legal right to an abortion.

The law involves the RU-486 “abortion pill,” also called mifepristone (brand name Mifeprex) and misoprostol (brand name Cytotec). It requires any doctor dispensing the drug to sign a contract with another doctor who would agree to handle any medical complications from it, an unusual and difficult-to-achieve arrangement. The contracted doctor also must have admitting privileges at a hospital designated to handle emergencies.

Arkansas said the law was aimed at protecting women against the “dangerous and potentially dangerous” off-label use of the abortion pills.

RU-486 was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2000 subject to the instructions stated on the label. The “off-label” use prohibited by Arkansas allowed for less physician oversight when RU-486 is used. Planned Parenthood, which offers only medication-induced abortions at its two facilities in Arkansas, said the effect of the law would be to ban such abortions in the state.

The district court judge had found that women in Fayetteville, for example, would have to make two 380-mile (610-km) round trips to get an abortion at what would be the state’s last remaining abortion clinic.

  3. There is no such thing as ‘abortion rights’ in either the U.S. or Canada where the Constitutions of each country guarantee RIGHT TO LIFE!

The unfortunate situation in whch we now find ourselves results from PERVERSE Court Decisions that have – for now – DE-criminalzed the murder of the pre-born based on the ridiculous premise that the child in the womb is not a ‘person’ under the law.

This idea of ‘non-personhood’ under the law was also used to justify slavery and unjust treatment of specific minorities over the years and has, of course, been repeatedly struck down.

American and Canadian politicians have the LEGISLATIVE authority to enact new laws protecting the unborn, including, but not necessarily, Constitutional Amendments.

BTW Many observers strongly believe the recent Irish vote was RIGGED

    • It’s rabbinic “law”. It’s therefore U.S. “law”. We should fear the “laws” which already subjugate us. (Sharia is not going to be our problem. Sharia is used to fear monger, by the likes of Pamela Geller whose co-religionists already hold sway in the courts, Congress, academia, media, the bureacracies, the NGOs, and within the deep state.)

    • Agree with everythnig you delineate….and…in addition, I might add that NOWHERE in medical history or in legal/Constitutional Law in the USA …is abortion classified as “HEALTH CARE” or a “cure” for a medical condition OTHER than if a full-term pregancy is a threat to the life of the mother.

Aww, but that’s SUCH AN INCONVENIENCE to go through in order to murder an innocent baby. Why are they making it so hard on the murderers? </sarc>

  6. We have to take any victory we can find. Let’s remember that the attitudes regarding abortion have been changing: Those older people who have undergone either getting an abortion or procuring one have been reconsidering their choices from years ago. This is important: The recollection of one’s guilt can lead to remorse and repentance, and these people can influence others with their testimony, done one-on-one with others.
In the meantime, there is more good news to report: The number of abortion clinics, nationwide, has been on the decline. This, too, may lead to less abortions, as I believe it has.

And there is hope that President Trump, who has reinstated the Mexico City Policy, can take on Planned Parenthood and eventually tackle it. (Certainly taxpayer funding of it can be stopped, and this would be a major victory). So there is hope, even as Civilization’s descent into Madness continues.
In the meantime, I believe that the outcome to this war has already been decided, and that it will end some day, but that the victory is not natural but Supernatural. In the meantime, every person who practices chastity is fighting against this evil.

    • Unwanted/unexpected pregnancies have happened since time immemorial. Abortions have happened since time immemorial. Those are NOT reasons to force tax payers to fund the killing of those children. These court decisions force the population at large to involuntarily participate in child sacrifice.

  8. I must admit, I still have such a difficult time with the abortion issue. I know that God hates abortion. And yet I struggle with what my stance and actions should be towards it. To simply say, well of course you should be against it, is almost to simple of an answer. If God is against it, then should I not be giving money and my time to march against it? But what about those who feel like it is their only option? I am not talking about those who use it as just another method of birth control, but about those who are truly in despair, and struggling with the decision. Should I not try to help them, and give them some kind of help, to find a better way out, and to find the best path for that unborn baby? It is in this area of limbo that I find myself stuck so very often. Just like, if I tell some it is wrong to cheat on their taxes, but at the same time, I cheat on mine, how am I to live with myself? If I tell this woman not to abort her baby, but offer her no options to help her deal with the aftermath of her having giving birth to a living, breathing child, then have I not actually failed as a help to her? Many will say, it is not my problem, but I say that it is my problem, and each and every other Christian’s problem, as well. We are to minister to the people of the world, and this is a big one, as far as needing us to minister to them.
I wish I had answers, but sadly, all I have at this time are questions. I pray that God gives me more knowledge of what we must do to be in His will, other than to just say, No Abortions, without saying what we are to do to help afterwords.

    • other than to just say, No Abortions, without saying what we are to do to help afterwords.

Do you also demand the condition of “helping afterwards” for those who say “No illegal aliens” or “No pedophilia” or “No cannibalism”?

    • The Government is NOT the arbiter of whether or not it acceptable to murder unborn children. While I can appreciate that life is often harsh, and sometimes we are faced with difficult situations, but how does it become “The Government’s” responsibility to “help”?

I can see going to a church organization and inquiring about adoption or assistance with the child after it is born. Neither The Government, or The Church contributed to the conception. If there are consequences to someone’s actions I think they should bear them like grown ups.

In the event of rape or some similar involuntary action, the child is not the culprit nor should it become a victim. If a woman is raped it doesn’t make it alright to murder another innocent party.

I haven’t kept up on this, but before abortion became legal there were homes for unwed mothers and out patient help available through the Church for single, unwed mothers. I know this as a fact because my father used to deliver his company’s contributions to one of them and I went with him a couple of times to bring the money to the sisters.

There are ALWAYS couples unable to conceive who want to adopt a newborn. Having the baby and putting it up for adoption if the biological mother is unable to care for it is ALWAYS the route to go, rather than killing the innocent babe!

There is just no good reason that abortions should be occurring!

  9. This is something I deal with on a regular basis. We provide free services to women who are abortion minded or vulnerable. We provide hope and help to those who feel as if there is no other choice but to have an abortion. Through ultrasound they meet their baby, most choose life, some choose adoption. They are all given truth in love – all factual information. We connect our moms to life affirming medical care and local resources in their neighborhood to help them through their pregnancy and beyond. I have heard many horror stories from women who have done pill abortions.its heartbreaking. If you want to help: support your local pregnancy resource center, pray at a local abortion mill or get training g to be a sidewalk counselor. Pray to end the genocide, pray for those who are on the front lines trying to save lives, pray for our leaders to stop the funding to abortion clinics. If not you, then who?

    • “Through ultrasound they meet their baby…”

Thank you for the work you do on behalf of those women. You may or may not yet be aware that Ultrasound is Radiation & it can be harmful to unborn babies.

From Jeanice Barcelo’s “Radiation Dangers” site:

“Ultrasound Linked to Miscarriage and Fetal Demise”:

She’s also in the process of publishing a book on the subject: “The Dark Side of Prenatal Ultrasound.”

      • Ultrasounds uses no ionizing radiation – it issues sound waves. This information comes from scientists and physicians, and other professionals.

        Liked by 1 person

        • I was not referring to IONIZING radiation but NON-IONIZING frequencies in the EMF range:

“Ultrasound for fetal examination carries a frequency in the range of 3 to 9 megahertz, millions of cycles per second, above the EMF frequencies of the AM radio band.”

The medical profession & their paid scientist-puppets lie as much as do Big Pharma, politicians, governments, HHS, FDA, FCC, telecoms, etc. Where there is money to be made there are lies; where there is destruction of health which = $$$ ka-ching for all of them, there are lies.

Read the other side of the story, the other half of the research studies, such as those in the Jeanice Barcelo article previously included.

Here’s an earlier article than Barcelo’s. Jon Rappoport has been an investigative jounalist re health matters for decades, but in this article he is sharing a new (2015) book on the subject by a different author:

2015: “Shocker: the dangers of Ultrasound” – Jon Rappoport’s Blog:

          • The term “Ionizing” refers to something that has lost a valance electron and is, therefore, likely to interact with other elements. In other words, it is no longer stable and will seek to bind to something else to make itself “whole”.

So, if something is “non-ionizing” would be whole (having all its electrons) and be stable (not interacting with anything). The body is full of ionic substances for others to bind with. In theory, however, something non-ionic should pass through the body without reaction.

So, I am not expert about what is used in these procedures but, if they are non-ionic there should be no fear of elemental changes. Having said that, there are other types of damage that could occur, depending.

We are literally bathed in radiation all the time. I doubt if that’s an ideal situation either. I have not studied this particular issue. I would hazard to suggest that all procedures and practices have risks. I think the situation determines what is an “acceptable” risk.

I am shocked both ways, actually, by what is known and what is not known about how medicine is practiced. I’m afraid, however, that simply rejecting things is not always superior.

Most doctors don’t explore these things any further than what they’ve been told about them. While that isn’t good, it is the situation we find ourselves in. So, without giving it too much thought, I would probably say that routines ultra-sound would not be a good idea unless there is a clear reason for doing so. I do not know what that is.

Finding out the sex of an infant is not sufficient in my mind. Also, finding defects may lead to abortions and I definitely would not find that acceptable either. So that just seems to leave reassuring the mother.

Believe it or not, many generations of humans came and went without this.

(Nested replies beyond 3 or 4 become harder to read, especially a longer reply, so I began afresh at bottom of page. 🙂

              • I’ll try one more, Lophatt not Loophat, lol. Getting a little too tired here to type.

Agree doctors don’t know beans about a lot of things. That’s why people have to educate themselves first & then teach their doctors. The wise ones will listen, being humble enough to realize they indeed do not know everything. The days of blindly trusting doctors as “gods” are long over.

There’s so much more to non-ionizing radiation. It is “invisible electricity” (not in “wires”) that interacts with our bodies’ electrical systems. The nervous system is electrical, the brain is electrical, the heart is electrical, etc. EMFs, depending on its intensity & exposure duration, can wreak havoc on the body, pets & animals, too.

There are hordes of people suffering & even slow-dying from the relentless exposure; neuro-degenerative diseases, dementias, heart attacks & strokes, autonomic nervous system failures, etc.

Simply put, these man-made (military grade) frequencies overpower humans’ (& animals’) bodies’ natural frequencies. They also slowly destroy eyesight, impair the immune & hormonal systems, etc. The govt. has known this for decades (old Navy & Air Force documents) but the govt. works for corporations, not the people.

When Russia microwaved the USA embassy in Moscow for a decade in the 1970s & they found out about it, the feds were thrilled & did not try to stop Russia because they wanted to use it as an opportunity to monitor what it would do to the USA employees. So they kept quiet for 10 years. The employees got cancer & the feds finally ‘fessed up & settled claims.

The day you’re ready to start learning, just holler. 🙂 There’s TONS of info online & tons of people awake to the reality, from sufferers to the professionals, PhDs, professors, doctors, scientists, researchers, etc.

Got to sign off. Eyes are sleepy!

      “Jeanice Barcelo, Author at NaturalNewsBlogs”:
Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Jeanice Barcelo and I am a birth activist, a whistle blower, and someone who is concerned with all things that limit or undermine human potential and human love. I am an outspoken leader in the movement to get birth out of the hospitals and back into the home. I am also extremely concerned about things like vaccines, GMO foods, chemtrails, nuclear power and radiation, child abuse, pornography, animal abuse, technologically-managed pregnancy and childbirth, and the satanic takeover of our planet. My use of the word “satanic” has nothing to do with me being a fundamentalist Christian, and everything to do with my awareness that there are people in very high positions of power who worship evil and who will stop at nothing to create chaos, suffering, deprivation, and destruction of our host planet and all of life. It is time for humanity to wake up and reclaim its power. And it is time for us to take our planet back and to re-establish human love as the primary purpose for existence. This blog is dedicated to that end. For more info about me, please visit my website at BirthofaNewEarth [dot] com

Excerpts below are from the Jon Rappoport article:

5/18/15: “Shocker: the dangers of Ultrasound”:

__“Funding for Ultrasound studies has virtually disappeared since the late 1980s, despite the FDA RAISING Ultrasound INTENSITY limits in 1991.”

[Ditto, the FCC keeps raising MW-RF INTENSITY 1G-2G-3G-4G-5G all the while claiming there’s “no proof” it is harmful based on heating up some water in a plastic dummy’s head. A plastic dummy has no biology yet the very name of their SAR test (“Specific ABSORPTION Rate”) admits MW-RF can be ABSORBED.]

__”Western scientists had previously FOUND HAZARDS via animal and cell studies…” but since they never did studies on HUMANS, they claim Ultrasound is safe. That’s like saying, “No HUMAN Evidence = SAFE Evidence”! (The “No News is Good News” trick.) Has anyone ever asked the BABY?!

__”…human studies conducted in modern China, which examine the results of in utero fetal exposure to diagnostic ultrasound … involve the exposure of over 2,700 maternal-fetal pairs to diagnostic ultrasound. The number of scientists involved are approximately 100. Pregnant women [who were going to have elective abortions later] were carefully selected and then exposed to controlled ultrasound sessions…”

__”These [Chinese HUMAN studies] represent 23 years of critical research, from 1988 to 2011.”

__[As with all EMF exposure, ultrasound] “…hazards are cumulative. Sensitive organs were found damaged at 1 minute exposure.”

__”Chinese scientists measured damage to the brain, kidney, cornea, chorionic villi, and the immune system. They determined the amount of ultrasound exposure required to produce damage to the human fetus, and that amount was found to be very low. Ultrasound hazards to the human fetus were confirmed without doubt.”

[The same is true re MW-RF > harm begins at VERY LOW levels.]

__”From these HUMAN studies, Professor Ruo Feng, of Nanjing University, published guidelines in 2000:
‘Commercial or educational fetal ultrasound imaging should be strictly eliminated. Ultrasound for the identification of fetal sex and fetal entertainment imaging should be strictly eliminated. For the best early pregnancy, avoid ultrasound.'”

__”The Chinese studies echo and confirm the earlier, ignored and rejected, 1984 ‘Consensus Statement’ written and published by the National Institute of Health and signed by the preeminent American scientists of that era. (See: NIH, “Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging in Pregnancy: NIH Consensus Development Conference Statement,” February 6, 1984.)

    __2015 book title:
“50 HUMAN Studies Indicate Extreme Risk for Prenatal Ultrasound: A New Bibliography” by Jim West, at Amazon in paperback & Kindle versions. 4.9 out of 5 stars, 11 reviews 2015-2017.

__5/15/15 Press Release on internet: “Prenatal Ultrasound: A New Bibliography of HUMAN Studies Conducted in Modern China.”

The USA & all of the Medical Industrial Complex has no excuse. They were too cheap &/or lazy (&/or wilfully negligent) to do studies, so someone else did it for them.

It’s the same with MW-RF tests. The Telecom/Utilities Industrial Complex repeats the lie that the technology is safe saying no conclusuve studies have been done. Yet Russia did 30 years (1960s-1990s) of LONG TERM studies (5-10-15-20 years) on THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES who worked around MW-RF. The proof of harm is there for the taking but the “Death Cults” running the USA’s “Institutions” could CARE LESS.

Strange how The Medical Industrial Complex has no guilt re performing millions of abortions every year & selling baby parts, yet they say it’s “unethical” to test those same baby parts for Ultrasound damage. (I’m not recommending it but the hypocrisy is glaring.)

Here’s a comment from the 25 at Rappoport’s article. If what this gent says is true, then what the medicos are using is not even “ultrasound” but is RF. He’s commenting on this from the article:

“Ultrasound for fetal examination carries a frequency in the range of 3 to 9 megahertz, millions of cycles per second, above the EMF frequencies of the AM radio band.”

*Wait a minute! Being that I was a radioman for a number of years, 3 – 9 MHz is FAR ABOVE the sound spectrum. This should not be referred to as “ultra-sound”, because the frequency range used is NOT within the audio/sound spectrum. 3- 9 MHz is in the “shortwave” radio spectrum (80M & 35-40M bands- for you Amateur Radio buffs)!

That also violates several sections of the Maximum Exposure Limits for Electromagnetic Radio-Frequency Exposure from the Federal Communications Commission regulations (Part 98, if I am not too mistaken)! These are the same exposure limit standards that all amateur radio operators have to observe whenever they do a “field day” or any other public exhibitions of working radio sites.*

Per a quick google, there’s these two quotes:

“Frequencies used for pregnancy ultrasounds can range from 1.6 to 10 MHz, but are more commonly between 3 and 7.5 MHz. Generally the lower the frequency, the further (or deeper) the sound waves can penetrate the body’s tissues.”
–Good grief! Just what you DON’T want! Poor babies!
–That was from an AU source so maybe their levels are different than USA(?)

“Ultrasound frequencies in diagnostic radiology range from 2 MHz to approximately 15 MHz.”
    –Radiopaedia source.

    15 MHz is 15-MILLION Hertz!

“It is important to remember that higher frequencies of ultrasound have shorter wavelengths and are absorbed/attenuated more easily.”
–Again, who wants to ABSORB ANY radiation “EASILY”? especially little growing unborn babies, the most susceptible creatures on the planet.

1_No microwave (EMF > wifi, cellphones, smart meters, etc.) radiation exposure for Mom during pregnancy!:
“The human brain is especially susceptible to numerous environmental insults that can produce irreversible damage during critical periods of nervous system development between conception and full maturity. A number of peer-reviewed studies reported changes in the nervous systems of rats, mice and humans following exposure to cell phone radiation. These include diminished learning, diminished reaction time, decreased motor function, reduced memory accuracy, hyperactivity and diminished cognition.”
–Hugh Taylor, MD Chairman, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology And Reproductive Sciences Yale University.

2_Don’t use Baby Monitors either after that bundle-of-joy is taken home. They emit MW-RF as well (ditto no wifi, cellphones, smart meters, etc. near baby!) Babies’ soft heads & thinner skulls are like a sponge. Don’t “soak it” in microwave radiation! (Google “EMFs – Baby Monitors” to learn more.)
