Drama queen: Kaepernick receives Amnesty International award and decries “lawful lynchings” in the US

Colin Kaepernick

Oh, the personal “sacrifice” of the warrior Kaepernick…

Hyperbole like this will ensure he remains an unemployed NFL player.

From Daily Mail: Amnesty International gave former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick its Ambassador of Conscience Award on Saturday for his kneeling protest of racial injustice.

Onetime San Francisco 49ers teammate Eric Reid presented Kaepernick with the award during a ceremony in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.

In his acceptance speech, the award-winner described police killings of African Americans and Latinos in the United States as lawful lynchings.

‘Racialized oppression and dehumanization is woven into the very fabric of our nation – the effects of which can be seen in the lawful lynching of black and brown people by the police, and the mass incarceration of black and brown lives in the prison industrial complex,’ Kaepernick said.

Kaepernick first took a knee during the pre-game playing of the American national anthem when he was with the 49ers in 2016 to protest police brutality.

‘How can you stand for the national anthem of a nation that preaches and propagates, ‘freedom and justice for all,’ that is so unjust to so many of the people living there?’ he said at Saturday’s award ceremony.

Other players joined his protest in the 2016 season, drawing the ire of President Donald Trump, who called for team owners to fire such players.

In response to the player demonstrations, the NFL agreed to commit $90 million over the next seven years to social justice causes in a plan.

Kaepernick wasn’t signed for the 2017 season following his release in San Francisco.

Reid, a safety who is now a free agent, continued Kaepernick’s protests by kneeling during the anthem last season. Reid has said he will take a different approach in 2018.

Kaepernick paid tribute to his friend for his own role in the protest movement. ‘Eric introducing me for this prestigious award brings me great joy,’ Kaepernick said. ‘But I am also pained by the fact that his taking a knee, and demonstrating courage to protect the rights of black and brown people in America, has also led to his ostracization from the NFL when he is widely recognized as one of the best competitors in the game and in the prime of his career.’

Amnesty hands its award each year to a person or organization, ‘dedicated to fighting injustice and using their talents to inspire others.’

Amnesty International Secretary General Salil Shetty called Kaepernick ‘an athlete who is now widely recognized for his activism because of his refusal to ignore or accept racial discrimination.’

Previous recipients of the award include anti-Apartheid campaigner and South African President Nelson Mandela and Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl who campaigned for girls’ right to education even after surviving being shot by Taliban militants.

‘In truth, this is an award that I share with all of the countless people throughout the world combating the human rights violations of police officers, and their uses of oppressive and excessive force,’ Kaepernick said.

  2. From what I understand, Kaepernick was a mediocre footballer, at best.
But that’s the thing about the Left: Just follow the ideology and you won’t ever have to know what you’re talking about.

    • Steven . . . Bravo, well said . . . . “the thing about the Left: Just follow the ideology and you won’t ever have to know what you’re talking about.” One reason why they never know what’s actually being talked about . . . is that rather than actually thinking, they have allowed “their feelings” on any subject to replace actual thought.

  5. Absolutely all of these Awards, from the nobel, to the emmys, are all just them patting themselves on their own backs, they’re all meaningless…We all realize that now. Most just amplify Leftist’s agendas, like everything related to the Left, it’s upside down land, barry get’s a peace prize while simultaneously bombing and droning the crap out of Sovereign Countries. Lophatt was correct, start trending that suicide is cool, we just need to hack into MSM for just one day, and bark it out over and over for 24hrs with that new voiceover technology! We could have anderson cooper yelling “Do it, Do it…Do it Now”, with hillary and huma as guests chanting the same thing over and over! Actually, now that I think about it, we need a Jim Jones to take this cult out…”Drink it..Drink it..just drink it”! They did the Tide Pods and the Condoms right?

    2. The Flag stands for the ideals outlined in the Constitution
    3. The government in and of itself is not and cannot be racist. It’s a framework filled with people that hate in both directions, kinda like you, bringing racisim to the office with them.
    3. negros/coloreds/blacks/african american/nickname dajour, are just as racist if not more, assuming you can quantify racisim.
    4. You should be standing for the Flag as it stands for freedom and oppotunity. If that’s not what you are seeing then I suggest that it is you that are the problem since so many others are thankful to be in and defend this country.
    5. If you don’t like it here pick a country and LEAVE. I’m sure you can afford to go anywhere you want. Be sure to leave your passport at the border and renounce citizenship. We don’t need people like you dragging us down.

  7. geez LOUIZZZZEEE….I was just about “over” this Krapperick guy and here he is again, turning up like a BAD PENNY…..People just can’t let him try to keep afloat on his own…they just keep giving him a “life-line.” Don’t know who must be needing the publicity worse—they or he? Now I feel all hurt over again, call the whambulance, b/c my entire family history of the Civil War era contributed so many lives from Pennsylvania to defend the Constitution of the USA for EVERY MAN. And, our ancestors who lost fathers suffered many other insults and privations due to the sacrifces of their fathers well into the 1900’s. When he kneels against the USA, he kneels against those who not only defend us today and in all the by-gone years that gave him his freedoms…BUT, specifically, those who gave their lives, left wives and orphans behind in a generation that had no ready “veteran’s benefits” for a long time….but they gave their lives so unknown African-Americans held in slavery could be liberated. To me it’s been a slap in the face at every kneeling, which is why I won’t EVER watch pro-football again. To me it’s like he’s scorned and dismissed the history of half this country and certainly discounted the men, women and children who paid for ( sometimes with their lives, almost all those times with their time and treasure) his rights as a US CITIZEN …and also, scorns them for “not doing MORE.”

Right now…today, this guy is just a Judas-Goat-Tare (JGT) trying to lead the sheep to the slaughter, just like LeBron James, who is also a JGT.
Today, these JGT’s are doing what they’re being paid to do. On Judgment Day, these idiots find out just how much it’s gonna cost ’em.

  10. It looks like Colin Kaepernick is suffering from the Curse of Ham.

    THE CURSE OF HAM

Leviticus 18: 7-8: “The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.”

Leviticus 20: 10-11: “And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Leviticus 20: 17: “And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.”

Genesis 9: 20-27: “And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness. And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.”

To uncover or to see the nakedness of the father is to have sexual relations with the father’s wife. Ham had sexual relations with Noah’s wife (which is the height of moral depravity), this is why Noah cursed Ham’s offspring (Canaan and his descendants).

If a man cannot control his sexual appetite and indulges in sexual sin (adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bestiality), then that man cannot govern his own family; he cannot govern a town, a city, a state or a nation.

In Kaepernick’s case, he is unable to govern his tongue.
