  2. I like # 9 from The Central Baptist Church: Loving one’s enemies DOES “mess with their heads.” It will not get them to love us back, but it does “jam their radar” with cognitive dissonance!
    Maintaining civility and respect never got ONE of my enemies to like me. But it got me through the situation. (O.K., God did, but the point is still the same).

  8. I actually honked for Jesus yesterday, as some mission group was on a corner soliciting donations from drivers. I wonder how they did, as they had “competition” from volunteers all over Chicago & some suburbs seeking donations for Misericordia, a home for those with severe developmental disabilities.
