Pedophiles, criminals & foreign agents had top secret national security clearance

Federal government contractors, such as defense contractors for the Department of Defense (DOD), require national security clearance.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) conducts the majority of the personnel security investigations in connection with granting access to classified information. OPM uses government and contract investigators to conduct these investigations. (Source: DOD Defense Security Service)

But a recent DOD report found that in the last 3 years, 165 government contractors with felonies, influences from foreign governments, suspicious financial dealings, and even pedophilia were given national security clearance and thus, had access to top secret information.

Sundeep Kavanal Radesh reports for International Business Times that according to the report, obtained by NBC News on January 23, 2018:

  • In the past three years, 200,000 defense contractors had requested top secret national security clearance.
  • Of the 200,000 applicants, 486 were denied or revoked:
    • 370 of the 486 denials were due to “financial considerations”.
    • 63 denials were due to felonies.
    • 56 applicants were found to have evidence of foreign influence.
    • However, 165 of the 486 defense contractor applicants who were denied security clearance had slipped through the initial vetting process and, thus, had access to sensitive information for years before their access eventually was revoked. An example is an individual who was granted interim security clearance in 2015, but was revoked in 2017 after it was discovered he had raped a child before applying for clearance.

A former FBI official said interim or provisional security clearances are often necessary for many agencies to fill their jobs. An example is Jared Kushner, President Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, who has not been given a permanent clearance, but has been operating with an interim security clearance for over a year, according to two law enforcement sources. Kushner’s interim clearance allows him to attend the President’s Daily Briefing.

Under United States’ law, the president can override findings by the FBI and grant national security clearance to whomever the commander-in-chief sees fit.

  1. That explains how Obama’s staff got security clearances as well as all those perverts. Clearly his regime was transparent.

  2. I’m sure there are still thousands who should not have any clearances whatsoever, just looking at the DOJ convinces me of that fact.

  4. How easy is it to get clearances in other countries? This remark does not necessarily apply to this posting, but, security is reduced between countries to a certain extent at times for diplomatic reasons or to develop either trust or faux transparency. Also, Gary Aldrich, “Unlimited Access.” A book avoided by some during the 2016 election cycle.

  5. It is expected if you have a corrupt president everything around you is going to be as you are, CORRUPT, Mustafa Obama and the tribesmen almost sank our country, he was more interested in globalism and how best he could give our country away to the best bettors, it was more to his agenda the rise of queers and lesbians, becoming a millionaire stealing money from the coffers and no one to stop him but getting his leftovers. He didn’t care, he didn’t give a dam and Killary Rotten Clinton getting away with murder that dark night in Benghazi.

  6. Someone made the comment, “that is how the FBI gets their minions to do their bidding”. Once their backgrounds are revealed, they are blackmailed. Example Stephen Paddock and his affinity to child porn. Perhaps he was (outed) blackmailed with this information long ago, as his girlfriend was possibly engaged in Human Trafficking. Could be this information was used against him, for his full cooperation, err…the full cooperation to be patsy that he was. (Sorry, but anybody who wins big sums continually in Vegas is shown the door). Good chance we will never know, but there seems to be a rather large number of pedos, and sexual abusers in the government, MANY I am sure who have “accidentally slipped through the vetting process”…(wink wink)

    • Teri . . . . Thank you for bringing up something as vital as this is. It is the very fact that when leaders are in a position where previous acts in their lives are such that they can easily be blackmailed . . . that is the whole point of vetting those who would attain “top security clearances.” As a nation, we must weed out those who might prove to be a severe liability to our safety. This really is not a concept that should be that difficult to understand. Yet, we see person after person, who have served in strategic positions, whose personal lives are nothing to be envied.

Clean out and clear out the FBI, the DOJ, and the NSA! Ferret out all those who are unworthy to hold positions of trust. This certainly would include Obummer. He should be brought up on charges for all the outrageous acts that can be attributed to him ! And consequently . . . put an end to his retirement pay.

      • The simple truth is that our government depends on honesty. If the parasites “elected” are not honest and trustworthy, no amount of oversight will fix it. It depends on electing men and women of honor.

When a President or other high-ranking official is elected or appointed, they staff their immediate office with fellow travelers. The other employees of their agencies are career appointees. Their entourage are “political” appointees. Unfortunately, the system is designed to allow the political appointees to control policy.

You couldn’t get any more crooked than Obongo or the Clintons. As should be expected, their appointees mirror their bosses’ desires and standards. One of two things happen when an administration leaves office. The political appointees either leave as well or they “burrow in”. They get converted to “career appointees” and stay at their agencies.

A smart administration will get rid of the burrowers immediately. If they don’t they end up with a “Fifth Column” like we see in DoJ and the FBI (as well as every other agency wrecked by Obama and his minions).

True as Sunrise-but how do we VERIFY Honor? Those who are NOT honorable will leave no stone un-turned to find a way to fake their way into the fold.

          • I don’t know. I DO know that buy electing candidates that either one of the establishment “parties” proposes, we’re doomed. It is just a game.

The New World Odor boys own both wings of the globalist party. It is becoming more obvious with each passing day. If we’re serious about maintaining our liberty and making our own decisions, we need to stop doing what we’ve been doing.

Instead of letting “them” tell us what our “choices” are, we need to make those ourselves. Personally, I don’t want more of the same, watered down or supercharged. I want a 180 degree turn.

In short, I’m not buying what they’re selling. It’s time for them to go out of business. If we have to confine the drag queens with the pedophiles in a leper colony somewhere, let’s do it.

That’s EXACTLY why I voted for Trump. One thing nobody can accuse him of is being “one of THEM”.

The problem is that the two-party system is built into the structure and history of the U.S. polity, which is why third party candidates never win.

              • Well, I understand that. I will never, however, simply say “well, I guess those are my choices (sigh!). It was not the intention to set up a system limited to two parties. It is obvious why this is desirable to those who would be in control.

There is nothing prohibiting US from simply refusing to cooperate with THEIR dynamic. Again, we don’t need permission. I won’t vote for someone I don’t believe in. I won’t vote for the lesser of two evils, either.

I always vote. If I have to, I write in someone’s name. I KNOW they won’t win. I’d rather they didn’t win than have to live with the knowledge I voted for someone unsuitable.

          • “but how do we VERIFY Honor?”

I suggest that one way is to scrutinize a politician’s so-called private life. Beginning with Bill Clinton, we are told to separate the personal from the public, as if morality and moral conduct can be compartmentalized.

            • Serving as a government official should be considered an honor. It should not be a career. We don’t need, nor do we want, professional politicians.

No one is perfect. But there is a huge chasm between “perfect” and what we’ve seen for decades, maybe centuries. We either admit openly that this is an oligarchy, and give up on voting, or we decide we want something better and force the issue.

In a way Trump is forcing the issue. I don’t personally worship the guy. But I find it interesting that they are so over-the-top out of control over him. If this is for real (and I’m not sure it is), it’s a hoot.

What they’re saying is “you vote for our guy or girl or else”. Those who supported him are saying “to hell with you”. THAT should be the attitude going forward for ANY candidate we run. They should not be affiliated with any party. If they must, they should not be affiliated with either of the two wings of the NWO Party.

  7. I held a Top Secret clearance for many years. They DO investigate. There are so many requests now, however, and many are done by contractors, that the whole thing has turned into just another money-making scam.

There is a law (I’m too lazy to look it up right now) that requires follow-up background checks every 90 days. That’s a lot of checks. Besides, as the article states, the President (or his designee) can override the findings.

It is simply another myth that people with no personal knowledge believe. Like most things in government, it is commonly believed that secrets are necessary. Very few actually are, and those are highly suspect. Just as in civil life, things done in darkness are not good things.

Pedophiles are EVERYWHERE. They are known to each other to a large degree. We don’t have to like this, it is simply a fact. Like a lot of other crimes, we need creative approaches. Maybe sterilization, whatever.

    • lophatt . . . . Thank you for that killer addition to this discussion. I would certainly agree, as the breakdown of our society is continuing to happen–we have altogether too many criminal players. Your comment, ” . . . we need creative approaches. Maybe sterilization, whatever,” certainly has the ring of truth to it. I nominate you to be the chairperson of the committee that comes up with “creative approaches,” I know you would be awesome.

  8. This is it: We are living in the Age of Evil Rising. Not only do Satanists and pedophiles obtain security clearance, some of them actually get elected to office and wield their power to legislate and enact policy.

Evil is like a river: It keeps on rolling until it is STOPPED. This is but one reason why I have been obsessed with George H.W. Bush, as an example. But we have to look at the public at-large, also: It was the public that picked up the pornography habit, as an example, and Hugh Hefner & Co. never put a gun to anyone’s head and made them buy it. The Supreme Court effectively legalized abortion, and enough of the public went out and got one. So evil is that river that flows both ways at once.

And I see the Hand of God at work here. The fact that he has allowed Donald Trump to get elected likens us to Nineveh: It eventually listened to Jeremiah—at least for a time. Our collective response to the current condition shall determine our future. I am first to admit that things do not look good.

True enough, but they look a Hell of a lot better now than they did a couple of years ago when everybody was assuming Killary would buy the Presidency….

      • That may be true. I’ll give him credit where credit is due. I am not now, nor will I ever be, prepared to just say “well, I guess that’s as good as it gets”. Not be a LONG shot.

I am too old to expect to get excited by a candidate. I’ll do that if there’s a reason to. I am very glad that Hillary isn’t there. That doesn’t mean that Trump walks on water. I am glad, not delusional.

If (and I don’t expect this) he decides to start firing enemies in earnest I might just start to breath heavy. As long as Sessions, all the senior people at DOJ, etc., are still securely at their places I’m going to yawn.

If he is REALLY serious, they have to go, including his Mossad son-in-law. There is no way one man can overturn so many years of flagrant corruption. But he can make a real dent and, if nothing else, ensure that we don’t make it worse.

It is long overdue for a “night of the long knives” in D.C.. He has every excuse on his side to do that. To me that can only mean that 1. he isn’t serious, or 2. he is scared. I can believe either one.

  9. When the ‘bosses’ are evil (see the Franklin Cover up by John DeCamp, Thanks for the Memories by Brice Taylor), it would make sense that they would let things slide for their minions.
Many people do not realize how insidious and widespread this child molestation/abuse/kidnapping/rape is, otherwise they would not let strangers watch their kids in daycare and other places with nary a thought.
It scares me to see how willing and nonchalant some parents are in trusting those they do not know well at all with their most valuable possessions, their children. I can count on my one hand how many people I would let watch my kids, and all of them are relatives.
The police also cover up a LOT of attempted abductions and rapes, especially in non crime areas like the suburbs. They don’t want the reputation of a ‘low crime area’ to be tarnished. There were several attempted abductions that happened in my neighborhood, and those were just the ones I knew of personally. Also some rapes, but it never made the news either.

  11. The Pentagon was forced last year to rescind interim security clearances granted under the Obama administration to at least 165 contractors linked to various crimes, including felony convictions for pedophilia and foreign government affiliations, revealed a report issued by the Director of the Defense Security Service (DSS).

According to the report, DOD contractors preserved their ability to access sensitive government information despite prior criminal records and other illicit past activity that the Pentagon’s vetting process failed to detect.

“Of those 165 cases, 151 people had pre-existing issues that they did not disclose and were not discovered during initial checks; the issues were not identified until the investigation was completed [in 2017],” noted the report, adding, “The interim decisions analyzed … actually occurred before 2017 and were subject to a final decision by the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA) in 2017.”

In other words, the Pentagon subjected the contractors to the first round of vetting under former President Barack Obama and the Trump administration discovered their deception last year. […]

  12. Makes one wonder just how Huma and Valerie got their clearance. Before Obama was elected the secret service let it slip out that he couldn’t pass EVerify. In other words, he couldn’t get a job to guard himself. Pelosi and another person lied when they said they vetted him.
