Dismemberment abortion: An actual vile, physical attack on babies

Apparently the good governor believes dismemberment abortion is “health care” and necessary for women’s freedom.

Not so much freedom for the 20-week old baby who has these features: His organs are getting into their proper places. His kidneys are now in position with their familiar bean shape. His testes (or ovaries for girls) have reached their position. His brain continues to form and grow. His teeth are beginning to appear, and he can swallow. If you haven’t been able to feel him move, chances are you’ll be feeling him move more and more over the coming weeks.

From Gov. Wolf on Monday vetoed a measure passed by the Republican-controlled legislature that would have restricted abortion rights, calling it a “vile assault on women’s ability to make their own decisions about their own health care.”

“Make no mistake about it,” Wolf said at a news conference at Philadelphia’s City Hall, Senate Bill 3 “is an attack on women. It’s an attack on their health, their freedom, their choice, their liberties.”

Wolf’s veto was something of an opening salvo in next year’s gubernatorial race. Republicans, including House Speaker Mike Turzai of Allegheny County and State Sen. Scott Wagner of York County, both of whom voted for the bill, are running to challenge Wolf, a Democrat, in November. The state GOP blasted Wolf on Monday as a “puppet of Planned Parenthood.”

Senate Bill 3 would have banned abortions at the 20-week mark of pregnancy, four weeks earlier than under current law. The measure provided some exceptions for emergencies like preventing the death of the mother.

It also would have restricted circumstances in which doctors could perform a common second-trimester procedure by prohibiting them from “knowingly and purposefully causing the death of an unborn child by means of dismembering the unborn child and extracting the unborn child one piece at a time from the uterus through the use” of various instruments.

The bill’s authors referred to this method as “dismemberment abortion,” a nonmedical term. Federal judges have issued injunctions against such bans in states such as Texas, Alabama, Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, according to the National Right to Life Committee.

There was no public hearing featuring testimony from medical professionals as the Pennsylvania bill rocketed through the legislature.

The bill passed the House last week, 120-70, and the Senate in February by a vote of 32-18. Republicans in Harrisburg could try to override Wolf’s veto, but they appear to lack the two-thirds majority to do so. Still, the veto gave them partisan ammunition.

“Tom Wolf is a puppet of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s number one provider of abortions, and is going to gladly accept their special-interest money for more political favors,” said Greg Manz, spokesman for the Pennsylvania Republican Party.

  4. This man is evil personified its murder any way you look at it. Abortion is the tool to destroy the basic plan of life that God set in place.

    • Brian . . . . I have never seen anything that I could agree more with than your statement . . . . “Abortion is the tool to destroy the basic plan of life that God set in place.” Of course those who have been listening to the whisperings of Satan and his minions would think that “allowing women to make their own decisions over they health care” is the correct policy. The Eternal scheme of husbands and wives bringing forth children that they care for and nurture goes back as far as our first parents–Adam and Eve. This was the pattern, this was the plan. It has only been men /women of evil intent who following Satan that have in every way tried to frustrate God the Father’s plan.

When I look at that picture . . . and see that little baby face, a little rib cage, and spinal column, a little arm, I was so upset that I was nearly brought to tears. Those who think this is okay should have to look at pictures like this–then perhaps they might realize the enormity of this travesty.

  5. Let’s also blame the woman who are not using birth control. Murderers, both mom and doctor!

    • weezy . . . I cannot imagine how all these women are going to feel when they stand before the Judgement Bar and have to explain how they sought out people who would perform these murderous acts on their unborn. I cannot understand how they would not feel that using some means of birth control would be a far better choice.

    • no birth control is 100% effective except abstinence….if a woman or a man truly does not want to have children then she or he should not engage in sexual activity at all…of course, society pushes and encourages people to fornicate outside of marriage which creates unwanted pregnancies which lead to abortion and industries profit from the murdering of the unborn (including science industry, medical industry, vaccine industry, and food industry)..
so, in essence, society is creating victims for the abortion industry by encouraging those who aren’t fit to be parents to engage in activities that will produce profit (babies) for them…this clearly shows those running industries in our country not only do not value the lives of the unborn nor protect the unborn, they do not value life at all.
      this is purely evil.

      • I remember these precise arguments when they were deciding Roe v Wade. I remember how cautiously it began, women had to get counseling from psychologists and clergy. Abortions had to be performed in a hospital.

Just as predicted, suddenly “abortion” (murder), became “birth control” and “choice”. This is a largely Jewish/atheistic operation. They take great joy in murdering the goyim and destroying Christian beliefs.

Now it has slid yet another peg into profiting from desecration of the dead. Little by little language is conflated and misused to a purpose. Most blindly mimic whatever they hear in the interests of acceptance. The result is that we become an evermore soiled culture devoid of compassion or understanding.

Let those who deny Christ chase these things. Never tire of pointing out hypocrisy and error. This society will be as Christian as we make it. We have no obligation to accept and participate in sin.

  9. How utterly horrible that this is even being considered. If you kick a mad dog, go to prison. Dismember a living baby, you’re a hero.

  12. I’m speechless. Science and neonatologists have LONG SINCE proven that this situation is pure BUTCHERY of a living person……This man and those like him in thought and “law” are so IN THE STONE AGES medically, scientifically, and socially, and even increasingly—lawfully. But then….he’s a Democrat….they are still clinging to their cave-dwellings in so many issues….Pretty soon, they are going to find Soviet—oops….Russian nukes in Cuba….Oh wait…………well…….maybe so, maybe a little “behind,” but then, didn’t Obama “normalize” our relations with Cuba…that great big shining paradigm of socialist virtue 90 miles to our South?????? Maybe no one will “notice.” Just like… one will notice all the baby parts flooding the market from “Planned” Parenthood? Where do these body parts come from? Oh Dear! No one knows how this happens………SARK!
