Sen. Ted Cruz clicked ‘like’ on incest-porn video

Yesterday, September 11, 2017, the 16th anniversary of 9-11, on his @tedcruz Twitter account, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) clicked “like” on a tweet of an incest-porn video posted by @SexuallPosts.

The video depicted a woman spying on and masturbating to a man fornicating her step-daughter. The step-mother then interrupted the couple and demanded that she be included as a threesome.

After netizens discovered Cruz’s “like”, it was deleted from Cruz’s Twitter account, but not before someone had saved it to archive, which you can see for yourself here, if you choose to do so.

SexuallPosts is already exploiting Cruz’s “like”, tweeting “Thanks for watching ted!” and using Cruz in its advertisement:

New York Daily Post reports:

“It’s unclear whether [Cruz] the married father of two personally liked the tweet or if a staffer using his account did the deed….

Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier quickly addressed the senator’s late night Twitter activity and said ‘the offensive tweet posted [sic] on @tedcruz account earlier has been removed by staff and reported to Twitter.’”

Frazier can’t even get her story straight — Cruz did not “post” the porn video; he clicked “like” on the video.

Note that Frazier did not claim that someone had hacked Cruz’s Twitter account. That means either Cruz or a staffer clicked “like” on the porn video. If no staffer is fired in the next few days, it means Cruz is the idiot — because only an idiot would watch a porn video on his public Twitter account and then click “like”.

See als0:

During the Republican primaries last year, Glenn Beck the Mormon touted Ted Cruz as the fulfillment of Mormon end-days prophecy, and actually threatened evangelical Christians that “If you don’t vote for Cruz, you’re not listening to God“.

Remember this from one of Cruz’s campaign stops last year? Just look at the look of revulsion on the face of his 7-year-old daughter Caroline turning away from his kiss.

Update (Sept. 14):

On CNN’s Jake Tapper’s show, Ted Cruz issued a denial, saying that an unnamed “staffer” had “accidentally” clicked “like” on the porn video (source: The Daily Beast):

“Look, we had a staffer who accidentally hit the wrong button and it was a screw-up. I will say, Twitter went crazy with it, it became trending. As soon as we found out about it, we pulled it down.”

Hey, Cruz. Did the “staffer” also “accidentally” access the SexuallPosts porn video? The only way that video could be accessed is either your Twitter account “follows” SexuallPosts, or the “staffer” went on SexuallPosts’ Twitter page.

  1. I was up late when a notification flew onto my screen about detesTED ‘liking’ a porn video. I must’ve laughed for an hour at all the chat comments, filled with all manner of words ending with “ted”…Sweet justice for the “annoinTED” Canadian born Cuban. This couldn’t have happened to a more deserving hypocrite. Just what I needed after a day still filled with grief.

Dr. Eowyn, this post does not edify. It is beneath a person of goodwill to promote gossip. I ask you to please and kindly think the best of a person and do not engage in sinful behavior, yourself. Just so you know, I do read your work, often, and learn so much from you. This time (and a few other times) I am disappointed in what you are promulgating. The Catechism of the Catholic Church admonishes us this way, “to avoid rash judgment everyone should be careful to interpret insofar as possible his neighbor’s thoughts, words, and deeds in a favorable way…” Probably you should reconsider these types of posts in the future. Detraction does a heap of damage. Best to stay away from it. Thank you for the good work that you do.

    • Sorry, I don’t agree with you.

The word “gossip” is defined as “rumor”. The word “rumor” means “A piece of unverified information of uncertain origin” or “hearsay”.

This post is not about a “rumor” because it is neither “hearsay” nor “unverified” or “of uncertain origin”. This post is a report on an empirical FACT, with evidence — that Ted Cruz’s personal Twitter account “liked” a porn video. I even provided a link to his archived “like” so readers can verify this report for themselves. As such, this post is no more “gossip” than my previous post of today, also reporting a verified and verifiable empirical fact — that Hillary Clinton blames her election loss on white people.

I respectfully suggest you examine your choice of vocabulary: What you call “gossip” is something you find to be unpleasant and distasteful, but your personal distaste doesn’t make this post “gossip”.

      • Dr Eowyn . . . I wholeheartedly agree with the definitions as set out above. This hardly qualifies as “rumor

The first thought that entered my head when I started reading this article . . . was to recall the clip of Cruz trying to give his young daughter a kiss in front of the cameras. You may recall that she recoiled from his attempt. It seemed very “peculiar” when I saw her actions relative to him trying to kiss her. I must confess, I wondered what the background was that caused her to act in this manner.

Unfortunately, we have far to many, particularly men who are addicted to porn. It is insidious, and it ruins families.

This whole matter with Cruz and his computer showing he “liked” this post is rather bizarre.

    • Encourage: I really must tell you that I’ve known Dr. Eowyn for many years and this former Professor NEVER PRINTS ANYTHING THAT ISN’T TRUE. Obviously you do not know about the real Ted Cruz. Let me just tell you a few of the reasons I would never support him before I go into his personal heretical religious beliefs that are as dangerous as Islam.
      1. Cruz not only voted for all the Trade deals, he voted to fast track TPP for Obama, and that gave Obama 6 years of power transferred from the Senate.
      2. Cruz loves amnesty, why? Because it’s well known that his father got into this country in a very questionable way, has ties to old communists, and we all know (those who’ve done their Constitutional homework) that Ted Cruz was never eligible for Senate, much less President, but Ted also loves H1B visas like his buddy Mike Lee.
      3. Ted has been pushing to open and destroy our Constitution for a long long time, and crawled in bed with two others who are extremely problematic, Glenn Beck, who is on the edge of losing everything, and went crazy during the elections, and David Barton, a fellow Dominionist who has been called on the carpet for actually lying about quotes of our founders. Warren Throckmorton, a Christian historian has exposed Barton’s falsehoods many times, along with several other Christian historians.
      4. Ted’s wife Heidi Cruz sits on the Council on Foreign Relations, probably the most vile and filthy organization in America started by Rockefeller to destroy liberty and freedom. She actually help to write the North American Union while sitting on the Council, and the NAU would destroy the sovereignty of the United States and eliminate our borders. That’s why everyone is so against Trump’s wall. Heidi is a top player at Goldman Sachs.
There’s far more, but suffice to say this is just a smattering of how this alleged “conservative” has voted to help destroy America.

Now for the real dangers of this man and his beliefs. Ted Cruz is a hardcore Dominionist and 7 Mountains Mandate believer. It is not orthodox religion but heretical doctrine.

Dominionists/Reconstructionists believe in a theocracy. In other words, they believe that the federal, state and local leaders in society should all be run by those who believe like they do. Secondly, they want a theonomy, which means they want all our laws based on Old Testament Mosaic Laws, other than a few dietary restrictions. The Mosaic Law was fulfilled with Christ’s death on the Cross, it has passed away. We are now under The LAW OF CHRIST, encompassed in “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Thirdly, Dominionism/Reconstructionism also believes in stoning sinners in the street, that goes for homosexuals, adulterers, those who take the Lord’s name in vain, disobedient children, etc. etc.. There is no allowing for the eventual saving of grace through faith that comes with believing on Christ as Savior.
Sounds a lot like Islam doesn’t it? And there’s more. Those of us who don’t believe like them are relegated to second class citizenship. It’s hard to believe, but this heretical rot has seeped into many of the evangelical churches, and there are a whole lot of these people everywhere. One of them is running for the Senate seat in Alabama.

But because you don’t know me, or how much research I’ve done, I will give you quotes directly from the top leader in this heretical doctrine.

According to Dr. Gary North, children should be put to death, this isn’t just acceptable, it’s mandatory. In his book, “The Sinai Strategy,” he writes (caught on the Wayback machine),

“The question eventually must be raised: Is it a criminal offense to take the name of the Lord in vain? When people curse their parents, it unquestionably is a capital crime (Ex.21:17). The son or daughter is under the lawful jurisdiction of the family. The integrity of the family must be maintained by the threat of death. Clearly, cursing God (blasphemy) is a comparable crime, and is therefore a capital crime (Lev. 24:16, “And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him.”)

Reconstructionists provide the most enthusiastic constituency for stoning since the Taliban seized Kabul. In North’s, “God’s Monopoly of Execution,” he asks,

“Why stoning? “There are many reasons. First, the implements of execution are available to everyone at virtually no cost. Second, no one blow can be traced to any person. Third, public stoning makes it clear to everyone that the whole community is responsible for the prevention of criminal behavior. Fourth, executions are to be personal, not impersonal. The condemned man has the right to confront his executioners face to face. Stoning is therefore integral to the commandment against murder. The fifth and by far the most important reason is that stoning is literally a means of crushing the murderer’s head by means of a rock, which is symbolic of God. This is analogous to the crushing of the head of the serpent in Genesis 3:15. This symbolism testifies to the final victory of God over all the hosts of Satan.”

Yes, this is what Ted Cruz, his father, Gary North, David Barton and many others believe. Prior to the 2016 election, the leaders of this heretical doctrine met in a Marriott hotel and all of them laid hands on Cruz to be the annointed King to lead America. By the way, Rand Paul was also there.

Here is the video to see for yourself: https://youtu.be/y26xO2_t-kM?list=UUIRA8Sry6RDHvFm2_om9nMA

There is far more, and you can certainly do your own research with what I’ve given you. However, like Islamists, there are many within this heretical doctrine who have addictions to pornography. This well could be Ted. It is pretty obvious that neither his wife nor his children are fond of him.

So, before you excoriate and demean a woman who spends hours doing research before she prints anything, I would suggest you also do the same before you attack her. Dr. Eowyn has proven over a great number of years that she’s never been wrong on what she posts. We may disagree with the posts, but the facts are always proven out.

Be careful when casting stones, especially when someone as hard working as Dr. Eowyn exposes these phony right wingers for what they really are.

I do not appreciate the hyperbole — “excoriate and demean” and “casting stones.” Really??? There was no sinister intent in my post to Dr. Eowyn, at all. There is no proof that Ted Cruz watched the porn video, even as it is plausible. So, as my brother’s keeper, I gave a correction against the sin of detraction, albeit using a stronger term than was warranted. For that I apologized. As for Ted’s religious beliefs, if he personally intrudes upon me and my God, I’ll correct him. Thank you for the education, though, even as I admit that I’m certainly fortunate not to be under similar scrutiny, lol.

    • I side with the good dr. Eowyn on this as well. Per the New Testament, we are called to expose evil. As also per the role of the body of Christ, we are to expel the immoral brother if they refuse to follow God’s ways. May I remind, that during the last election, it also came out that Ted Cruz had at least 1 account on the Ashley Madison website, which is where people go to have adulterous affairs. This came to light after the site was hacked and the members’ names were released. On this list, it showed Ted Cruz had used his senatorial email, yes, his email provided by the government to conduct government business, to engage in these affairs.

I would also implore on you to consider this: : “thinking the best” about somebody prevents you from seeing the realities of them. That is akin to brushing something under the rug, all to avoid dealing with it. while we should avoid judging, if possible (but there are times when it is necessary), we should be very discerning and testing all spirits. I believe there is much evidence to indicate that Ted Cruz is not a true Christian. False teachers and those wolves in sheep’s clothing need to be exposed.

Dr eowyn is not engaging in sinful behavior by posting this info, but merely contributing to exposing. 😉

  3. I am by no stretch of the imagination a fan of Ted Cruz. 1. he is not a cuban born Canadian. He is a natural born Canadian citizen. His father (and many believe his mother too) was a Canadian citizen when Ted was born. In 1970 when Ted was born Canada did not issue nor did it recognize dual citizenship. That did not happen until 1976. Ted’s father was a Canadian and by natural law that makes Ted a natural born Canadian citizen. END OF STORY. He is not eligible to President or VP and should have been removed from the Senate for fraud. 2. I do not think Cruz would be stupid enough to do what is being stated here. He is not my candidate by a long shot but I do not believe he would be so stupid as to be liking porn videos. I could be wrong but I think you need to do more home work before you publish stuff like this.

    Liked by 1 person

    • What “more home work” do you suggest I should have done?

I quoted from NY Daily News the statement from Cruz’s spokeswoman, Frazier.
I pointed out that Frazier did not say someone had hacked into Cruz’s Twitter account, so we can exclude that as an explanation.
I left open the possibility that Ted Cruz had not clicked “like”.
I proposed that a staffer might have clicked “like”.
I suggested that a way to find out if a staffer had done that is see if a staff member is fired in the next few days.

If there’s “more homework”, then tell us what it is.

The video wasn’t posted to Ted Cruz’s Twitter account, so Ted Cruz can’t “delete” the video because it’s not his to delete.

What happened was “someone” using Cruz’s Twitter account accessed SexuallPosts’ tweets — which is a deliberate act — watched that porn video tweeted by SexuallPosts, then clicked “like” on that video.

As an example: I have a Twitter account under the name Dr. Eowyn. I regularly go on President Trump’s Twitter page — which is an intentional, deliberate act — read his tweets and click “Like”. My “like” then registers as a “Like” from Dr. Eowyn.

Same thing on FOTM when you, truckjunkie, clicks “like” on a comment. You weren’t trying to delete the comment because you can’t delete it.

  5. CRUZ IS CREEPY! I can’t even fully explain the “Why” of it, but something about him simply exudes “creepiness”. And I was thinking and feeling that long before his daughter refused his kiss during that presidential campaign stop.

Frankly, NOTHING would surprise me about Ted Cruz. And the fact that he’s a Mormon (with its old connection to Freemasonry) sure does not help matters in my mind regarding him.

I think the closer we draw to God and Christ, the more that The Holy Spirit reveals to us, sometimes in ways that we can’t even adequately translate into words.

  10. I am neither supporting or denouncing Ted Cruz here. I will say this, I can still remember the day I was Googling to search for some horticulture information and I pressed enter on a site just as my boss walked by. I was so embarrassed because what came up was a porn site and I was only looking for information on some holly bushes by the name of China Boy and China Girl. Wow. I am surprised I was not fired on the spot. I never ever did that again. So this may be true and Ted clicked on this site on purpose, or it may have just been an accident. Based on experience, I am just giving the man benefit of doubt.

I feel so out of it. Thankfully. Never tweeted.
Cruz is Mormon? “7 Mountainist”? “Dominionist”? “Non-American”? Eh?
Barton supported Trump, not Cruz, at the rallies I saw on CSpan. So did a LOT of TV evangelicals. Which disappointed me quite a bit. Not because they didn’t support Cruz, but that they threw their weight behind Trump so whole-heartedly.

Mea culpa! It was I who referred to Ted Cruz as a Mormon. I realized later that I’d made a mistake. In the time that has passed since the presidential campaigns, I’d forgotten that Cruz himself was not actually a Mormon, despite the fact that Glenda Beck and other Mormons were strongly promoting Cruz and speculating that he was perhaps the fulfillment of Mormonism’s “White Horse” prophecy.

I rarely make sloppy errors like that, but having recently turned 58, the memory ain’t what it used to be. (Gee, neither is the body!)

Cruz is still really creepy though, even if he isn’t a Mormon.

      • OK, well, I literally didn’t know. Spent quite a bit of time doing searches various ways online and was surprised at the number of sites and articles that do proclaim him a Mormon! And yeah, one of them was based on Beck’s proclamations. I was never big on him either. Seems to blow with the wind, looking for folks to follow his idea du jour (or for an idea among folks he can then lead). I did not like him trying to co-opt evangelicals in the past few years, but I see that a lot, especially from entertainers, athletes, etc., who seem to have lost their devoted followers outside the church, then try gaining a following within it. I think they’re mostly vultures. But others lap it right up.
And yeah, I’ve always felt like Cruz was a bit creepy. Maybe his appearance, his manners of speaking & movement, or his stances on certain ideas. I dunno…
And BTW, I’m glad I didn’t know you could find porn on Twitter… ignorance is sometimes bliss. I do occasionally check facebook, but only for what I told it were my interests (pretty much conservative Christian connections). When I tried setting up an account for my parents last week so dad could keep up with his siblings, I could no longer do that kind of setup. They’ve changed things… they want more info (I refused or gave fake data) and want to direct users to the information they (FB) wants them to be interested in. Sigh… not really interested.
