Pope Francis’ Vatican: a cesspool of pedophiles and homosexuals

“The greatest charity one can do to another is to lead him to the truth.” ~St. Thomas Aquinas

In a sobering message at the funeral of Cardinal Joachim Meisner on July 15, 2017, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI described the Catholic Church as a “boat” that “has taken on so much water as to be on the verge of capsizing.”

Note: Cardinal Meisner was one of four Catholic clergymen who wrote a letter (dubia) to Pope Francis asking him to clarify his Amoris Laetitia apostolic exhortation that can be understood as giving permission to civilly-divorced-and-remarried Catholics (and therefore living in adultery, according to the Church) as well as unmarried cohabiting Catholics (i.e., living in fornication) to receive Holy Communion. Reportedly, Francis published the exhortation despite having received corrections from theologians. Months after Meisner et al. sent Francis their letter, the pope still has not responded.

If the Church is a “boat” that “has taken on so much water as to be on the verge of capsizing,” then Pope Francis’ Vatican is already submerged — in a cesspool of child porn, child rape, homosexual sex-and-drug orgy, and an in-your-face homoerotic church mural.

(1) Child Porn & Child Rape

Michael Stone reports for Patheos, Oct. 3, 2014, that police found more than 100,000 child porn videos and photos on the computer of former Archbishop Jozef Wesolowski in his office at the Holy See diplomatic compound in the Dominican Republic. Wesolowski was the Vatican’s papal nuncio or ambassador in Santo Domingo.

Under house arrest at the Vatican, Wesolowski is also accused of raping numerous children in the Dominican Republic and Poland, and is one of the highest-ranking church officials to be accused of sexually abusing children during the Catholic Church’s widespread and costly sexual abuse scandal. Wesolowski is also suspected of having sexually abused children while serving in other posts during his career — in South Africa, Costa Rica, Japan, Switzerland, India and Denmark.

After being publicly accused of procuring child prostitutes in 2013, Vatican officials secretly removed Wesolowski from his post as papal nuncio in Santo Domingo so as to avoid criminal prosecution. In September 2014, Weslowski was placed under house arrest at the Vatican in response to popular outrage after reports began to circulate that the accused child rapist was free to wander the streets of Rome. Authorities in both the Dominican Republic and Poland — Wesolowski’s country of origin where he has also been accused of sexually abusing children — want him extradicted to face criminal charges.

According to Vatican detectives, some of the horrors found on the former Archbishop’s computer included around 160 videos showing teenage boys forced to perform sexual acts on themselves and on adults, and more than 86,000 pornographic photos methodically archived in several category-based folders. At least another 45,000 pictures were deleted, while even more child pornography was found on a laptop Wesolowski used during his trips abroad.

Wesolowski was charged with sexually abusing minors and child porn possession; if convicted, he would face 12 years in jail. Scheduled for July 11, 2015, his trial was postponed because of an “unexpected illness”. On August 27, 2015, Wesołowski was found dead in his residence from a heart attack. (Wikipedia)

More recently, another high-ranking Vatican official was charged with sexual assault.

The New York Post reports that on June 22, 2017, Australian police charged Cardinal George Pell — Pope Francis’ chief financial adviser and Australia’s most senior Catholic — with multiple counts of “historical sexual assault offenses,” meaning offenses that generally occurred some time ago. Police gave no other details.

Pell, the highest-ranking Vatican official to ever be charged in the church’s long-running sexual abuse scandal, had also been accused of mishandling cases of clergy abuse when he was archbishop of Melbourne and, later, Sydney. He has denied all abuse allegations.

Meanwhile, the AP reports that, ignoring advice from the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, “Pope Francis has quietly reduced sanctions against a handful of pedophile priests, applying his vision of a merciful church even to its worst offenders in ways that survivors of abuse and the pope’s own advisers question.”

At least one case has come back to bite Francis:

“An Italian priest who received the pope’s clemency was later convicted by an Italian criminal court for his sex crimes against children as young as 12. The Rev. Mauro Inzoli is now facing a second church trial after new evidence emerged against him”.

(2) Homosexual Cocaine Orgy

In late June, 2017, Vatican police raided a cocaine-fueled gay-sex party at the apartment of Monsignor Luigi Capozzi, 49 — the secretary of one of Pope Francis’ key advisers and president of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio.

Ironically, the apartment is in a building right next to St. Peter’s Basilica, which belongs to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith — the arm charged with tackling clerical sex abuse. As such, the building enjoys the extraterritorial rights of the Vatican, unchecked by the Italian State.

After neighbors complained repeatedly about constant comings and goings of visitors to the building during all hours of the night, Vatican police raided the apartment and found multiple men engaged in rampant drug use and homosexual activity. Police arrested Capozzi, whom Italian media called an “ardent supporter of Pope Francis,” after taking him to a clinic to detox from the cocaine he’d ingested. Capozzi is now on a spiritual retreat in an undisclosed convent in Italy. Despite his arrest, he is still listed as an active staff member on the website of the Pontifical Council for the Interpretation of Legal Texts.

Capozzi, who on his LinkedIn page calls himself an “expert in canon law and dogmatic theology,” managed to evade suspicion from Italian police by using a BMW luxury car with license plates of the Holy See, which made him practically immune to stops and searches. This privilege, usually reserved for high-ranking prelates, allowed the monsignor to transport cocaine for his frequent homosexual orgies without being stopped by the Italian police.

In response to the news of the police raid, Pope Francis decided to “accelerate” the retirement of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio. At age 79, Coccopalmerio is way beyond the age of retirement of 75, but was kept on by Francis. Incredibly, Coccopalmerio had recommended Capozzi for a promotion to bishop, despite Capozzi’s previous alleged drug overdoses.

Coccopalmerio, as President of the Pontifical Council for the Interpretation of Legal Texts, is the Vatican’s top canonical official and one of Pope Francis’ closest collaborators and ardent supporters. Earlier this year, the Vatican’s publishing house released with much fanfare a book by Coccopalmeiro that defended Francis’s Amoris Laetitia, even though it contradicted perennial Catholic teaching.

In a 2014 interview with Rossoporpora, Coccopalmerio said that while homosexual relationships are deemed “illicit” by the Church, Catholic leaders, such as himself, must “emphasize” the “positive realities” that he said are present in homosexual relationships:

“But if I see that the two persons truly love each other, do acts of charity to those in need, for example … then I can also say that, although the relationship remains illicit, positive elements also emerge in the two persons. Instead of closing our eyes to such positive realities, I emphasize them.”

Michael Hichborn, president of the U.S.-based Lepanto Institute, said he highly suspects Coccopalmerio knew of his secretary’s homosexual cocaine orgies:

“Given the monitoring and whispering that goes on in the Vatican, it is unlikely to the point of absurdity that Cardinal Coccopalmerio was unaware of Msgr. Capozzi’s disgusting activities. In fact, when we consider the 300-page document on the homosexual lobby that was handed to Pope Benedict XVI just before he resigned, the probability is that many who work in the Vatican were fully aware of what Capozzi was doing, and that such activities are taking place among other clergy as well.”

Hichborn said that the homosexual orgy happening right next to St. Peter’s is indicative that the Vatican is “ground zero for a mass apostasy that is happening right now within the Catholic Church.” Hichborn said that the Church’s enemies are now trying to destroy her from within:

“We know for a fact that Communists and homosexuals were specifically recruited as far back as the 1920’s to infiltrate seminaries. It was a concerted effort to destroy the Church from within. What we are seeing is the culmination of nearly 100 years worth of this effort playing itself out.”

(3) Homoerotic Church Mural

In March 2017, reports surfaced that Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, in 2007 when he was a diocesan bishop, had commissioned a homosexual artist to paint a gigantic blasphemous homoerotic mural in his cathedral church of the Diocese of Terni-Narni-Amelia in Umbria, central Italy.

The mural that covers the opposite side of the facade of the church portrays Jesus carrying nets to heaven filled with writhing naked and semi-nude homosexuals, transsexuals, prostitutes, and drug dealers. The image of the archbishop himself is depicted among those in the nets.

Archbishop Paglia defended the mural deemed by Catholic critics to be  “blasphemous” and “disgusting,” as well as “demonic,” saying it was part of a commitment to evangelizing. Regarding his inclusion in the mass of nude bodies shown in the mural, he said, “I too am included in the mural as one who needs redemption no less than anyone else.”

Not coincidentally, Paglia also defended Pope Francis’ Amoris Laetitia on allowing adulterers and others living in mortal sin receive the Eucharist, which reinforces the suspicion of many that the real intent of Amoris Laetitia ultimately is to legitimate homosexuality.

Commenting on the cesspool in the Vatican, Riposte Catholique observes:

“One thinks one is dreaming: in the most deplorable of ways, the Rome of today seems to have fallen lower than the Rome of the Borgias.”

In a talk given in Washington D.C. last October, the orthodox Bishop Athanasius Schneider of Kazakhstan points out that where there is heresy, there is also sexual immorality because “heresy” always goes hand-in-hand with an “unchaste life”.

No wonder some Catholics call Jorge Bergoglio (Pope Francis is his job title) an anti-Pope.

No wonder U.S. Catholic congregations are aging and dying off. At least 60% of most congregations today are over 65 years of age. (Catholic Journal)

  1. The demons now run the church. The American Catholic Churches and Diocese’s need to break from the Vatican and live for the Catholics here in America. Quit sending money to Rome and spend it on the poor people in the churches here. The Pope and upper priest wear rich garments for show yet our LORD JESUS owned nothing and dies NAKED on a cross!

    • NO! They do not! That is precisely how we got into the mess we’re in today.

The Church has survived for 2,000 years. When the clergy fails, the laity rise to ensure its survival. Just like people should not get divorced when they encounter difficulties in their marriages, they should not abandon the Church.

It is regrettable to see this, but we should also note that there are no shortages of enemies of the faith. The Church is very large, with many faithful workers for Christ. These abominations that are so prominently advertised constitute a very small percentage of the total.

That said, something must be done and it does not appear that it is going to happen during this pope’s reign. There is an institutional side to the Church and, just like civil institutions are all under attack at the moment, so is the Church. She is not immune.

Fr. Malachi Martin wrote a novel, “Windswept House” describing this. I believe it was at least, in part, based on reality. His conclusion, that I agree with, is that the Church will survive, in some form, ultimately until the end of time. I will do whatever I can to ensure that comes to pass.

      • Some say Father Malachi was a double agent. What every Catholic who adores him should know….

        • I don’t believe I said I “adored” him. I merely mentioned him. There isn’t a Catholic figure anywhere that some atheist or Protestant isn’t taking shots at. I don’t regard that as “proof” of what they say. Most of it turns out to be pure silliness, or worse.

I don’t have “heroes” so I don’t worry overly much about figures. I don’t like Alex Jones either, but if he says something I agree with, I’ll give him credit for it.

          • Sorry Lophatt, I didn’t mean to imply that you personally adored him, I just know many do, so it was for general information.

        • To see merit in what Fr. Malachi wrote does not mean that one “adores” him.

        • Malachi Martin was exposing the pedophiles and satanic murders of innocents in the Church, and the corrupt higher-ups didn’t like it, hence they denigrate him and kick him out. Just like the Lord Jesus and the Pharisees. Only of course Malachi isn’t Jesus, but it’s the same principle.

      • It may not be a bad thing for the present Catholic Church — encrusted with bureaucracy and corroded by corruption — to fall away, leaving a Remnant of the orthodox, faithful, and holy, much like the early church of Christ’s disciples.

    • When the Church “owns” something, it is held in trust for everyone. Priests are paid roughly $1,000/month + board. The Church has accumulated wonderful art work over the centuries and, if it weren’t for their careful preservation of them, they would have been lost to time.

The buildings are meant to inspire reverence and awe. They do, I’ve seen them. They do not “belong to the Pope” (in the classical meaning of the term), they belong to HIs (Christ’s) people.

The Church runs many missions throughout the world, primarily in poor places. The philosophy of those is to help people help themselves, not simply give to them. I have personally known several priests and laymen who have devoted their lives to such missions and been exposed to great danger.

So no, I would not like to see the Church’s collections “sold off” to wealthy greed heads who will hide them in their parlors. We’re doing it right in the charity department.

  2. Proof that liberation theology is morally corrupting crap…

    • Precisely. “Liberation Theology” is communism. The Church isn’t supposed to be a political organization. They are supposed to help provide the information you need to form a proper conscience. The laity are the ones who act in “the world”.

The more I’m exposed to this pope the less I like him. It’s a good thing that, at least so far, he hasn’t declared anything “ex-cathedra”. Those pronouncements are very difficult to reverse.

Based on his recent comments, he thinks The Holy Church is some “New Age”, personal improvement, feel-good group. Basically, he’s saying “there are no sins”. He’s wrong.

  3. Has anyone read the book, “Lucifer’s Lodge: Satanic Ritual Abuse in the Catholic Church” , by William H. Kennedy? This author was a regular guest on Dr. Stan Monteith’s radio program. In August of 2013, Mr. Kennedy said on the program that he had information about Pope Francis that he was going to release. His dead body was found in his home one week later. He was only 49. There is very little info about it on the web, and as far as I know, there has been no explanation for his death. The book is available for free download here:

    • There are no shortages of Catholic- bashing material. I was raised a protestant and converted to Catholicism. I do not regret it. I have heard most of the idiocy out there that I think is used to justify protestant positions.

We are not performing dark acts in church basements. I wouldn’t declare that “no one” is. It’s a big church and the primary target of those who would destroy Christianity. They don’t so much target the Shi’ite Baptists.

  4. When Our Lord promised that “the gates of hell shall not prevail against” His Bride, the Church, He did not mean evil will not enter in; merely that evil will not ruin her. She will survive.
Cardinal Pell is one of the most upright, conservative, doctrine-defending prayerful princes of the Church. Liberal Australians have always tried to destroy him and it looks like they’ve succeeded in framing him this time. Please pray that in his case, justice will prevail.
Our Lord was not crucified naked. He should at least have had a piece of cloth wrapped around His private parts.

Had He been crucified naked, the Jews would have realized that they were crucifying “one of their own.” To avoid any uprising, Jewish authorities must have demanded that His circumcision be covered up.

    • Amen to that. There ARE perverts in “high” places. These “Princes of the Church” will get their just rewards, have no doubt. And yes, one of the jobs of the Pope is to preserve Her dignity. Why he isn’t doing more is telling.

  5. It seems to me that Freemasonry succeeded in its threats to infiltrate the Church with the Election of Roncalli to the Papacy as John XXIII in 1958. I have read that Paul VI was also a notorious sodomite who had his gay hairdresser lover over in his private quarters on a regular basis.
So we have this, decades after Bella Dodd helped to recruit gay men and communists to the priesthood, prior to John XXIII’s Election. (See her memoir, “School of Darkness.”)

The fish rots from the head down, so the Italian saying goes, and Our Lady of Fatima predicted that “the Apostasy shall begin at the top.” I believe this is what we have been witnessing, under one appearance or another, since 1958. Long story short, in plain English: I believe Pius XII was the only good Pope in my lifetime. It took me over 50 years to find out.
Our Lady of Quito predicted this and more, and said that there WOULD be a DEFINITE END to it. So we have to red-pill ourselves and “be as cunning as wolves and as gentle as doves.”
I harbor no illusions about where this is headed: It ends in the near-destruction of the Church—at least its Vatican-based bureaucratic apparatus—and the Great Tribulation at the hands of the Anti-Christ. I believe that Francis—who is determined to found or give way to a “one-world religion” is the forerunner to the Anti-Christ. I believe he is the False Prophet of Revelation, and that the Anti-Christ—still unknown to the public—is alive on Earth RIGHT NOW.
Pray to Our Lady of Quito, Our Lady of Good Success.

    • Great comments. Yes, it is a scandal and the cause for shame. We are not alone with this, but we are supposed to be above it. Given the celibacy issue and the way priests are formed, it’s a tough nut to crack.

There WILL be an end and our Mother Church will prevail. This isn’t the first time in history that we’ve endured apostasy from the clergy. I watched a video recently of a young Italian priest who was laicized. He was ordained by the Pope and came to see the corruption in the Vatican first hand. He resigned his priesthood and is married. Both he and his wife are active Catholics although he is forbidden to hold any office, even usher.

      • I used to be Catholic. I now am in a church that is not Catholic. It’s a Christian church. That’s it. No ism’s. I’m speaking gently here to you, but you really may want to try and not get so emotionally tied to the Catholic church, as it is an incredibly corrupt institution. In the Bible, the Lord God speaking through Paul said that He did not have any ‘relation’ with the churches like the Catholic church, Protestant Church, Baptist, Lutheran, Assemblies, etc. They consider themselves Catholic, not Christian. All the break away churches went against God when they started naming themselves other names. They became sects. Another example, in the Bible, God says “Do not call anyone else Father but Me”. So, what do they call the priests? Then, do not worship anyone but God. So, who do Catholics pray to? Saints! Not God(Jesus). Jesus got angry because of those in the Temple who were money changing and selling birds. What do Catholics do? They hold Bingo games and have carnivals. They will be known by their works. I quit the church years ago because of their hypocrisies and stuff. It took me a long time to find my way back to God and Jesus Christ. Please pray for discernment. God bless you! 🙂

        • Since you are a self-described fallen-away Catholic, you should know that Catholics don’t “pray to” (by which you mean worship or adore) saints or the Virgin Mary. We pray to show our respect for these inspirational role models — the Church Triumphant — and to ask for their help. Just as we ask each other, fellow living humans, to pray for us.

Tertullian (160-220) said that the Catholic Faith and Jewish power are like the two pans of a pair of scales: as Catholic Faith goes up, so Jewish power goes down.., and as Catholic Faith goes down, so Jewish power goes up. But the Faith overtops the power. That is why the primary problem is not the Jews, but the increase or decrease of the Faith amongst men. That is why conspiracies do exist, they have an important part to play and they are not to be merely scorned, but the central problem is men turning away from the true God in his one true Church. In brief — and here is the crucial point – the Gentiles have only themselves to blame if Jewish power is today so great.

          We Shall Destroy the Clergy
          2. For a long time in the past, we have taken care to discredit the priesthood of Goyim, and thereby to ruin their mission on earth which might still be a great hindrance to us in the present day.

Day by day it is losing its influence on the peoples of the world. Freedom of thought has been declared everywhere and the moment of the complete wrecking of the Christian religion is now only years away. As for other religions, we shall have even less difficulty in dealing with them, but it would be premature to speak of this now.

We shall restrict the ability of the clergy to influence the government into such narrow frames as to make their influence move increasingly backward in comparison to their former progress.

When the time finally comes to destroy the papal court, the finger of an invisible hand will point the nation’s anger toward this court. When, however, the nations come to attack it, we shall come forward in the guise of its defenders as if to save excessive bloodshed.

By this diversion we shall penetrate to its very inner sanctum and be sure to never come out again until we have gnawed through the entire strength of this place.

The king of the Jews will be the real pope of the universe, the patriarch of the international church [The Antichrist??].
But, in the meantime, while we are reeducating youth in new traditional religions and then afterwards in ours, we shall not overtly lay a finger on existing churches, but we shall fight against them using criticism calculated to produce internal disunity…
In general, then, our contemporary media will continue to condemn State affairs, religions, and imperfections of the Goyim; always using the most disrespectful expressions in order to lower their prestige by every means and in a manner which can only be done by the genius of our gifted tribe…
Our kingdom will be a representation of the Hindu deity Vishnu – our hundred hands will be on the controls of the machinery of social life. We shall see everything without the aid of official police which, because of the limitations on their powers, hinders governments from seeing properly. We have made a list of similar limitations to be applied on the Goyim.

          Christianity – under Jewish attack…
Christianity is historically in conflict with Jewish values and the Christian New Testament replaces the Jewish Old Testament. The Christian apostle Paul even writes in the Thessalonians (2:14-15) about “the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all men”. But the ranks of Christianity have been corrupted, materialism and pro-Imperialist support on behalf of the Church has tarnished the legacy of Jesus Christ, the freedom fighter. And so-called convert Jews have entered the ranks of Christianity, even its leadership. The Jew and Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger in France was even contemplated as one of the candidates to become the new pope. On a visit to Australia, Cardinal Lustiger was quoted in The Weekend Australian, 4-5 August 2001, p. 9:
“I was born Jewish and so I remain […] For me, the vocation of Israel is bringing light to the goyim. That’s my hope and I believe that Christianity is the means for achieving it.”
This quote of Judaism using Christianity as a means for Israel is corroborated by Rabbi Martin Siegel, who in New York Magazine, January 18, 1972, p. 32, said:
“I am devoting my lecture in this seminar to a discussion of the possibility that we are now entering a Jewish century, a time when the spirit of the community, the non-idealogical blend of the emotional and rational and the resistance to categories and forms will emerge through the forces of anti-nationalism to provide us with a new kind of society. I call this process the Judaization of Christianity because Christianity will be the vehicle through which this society becomes Jewish.”

This book, first published in 1952 is a small (5′ X 7′) format, of only 120 pages. One of the ‘little gems’ that has been suppressed and gives us a side of history that has NEVER been included in the history books for all to see. Captain Ramsay, WWI veteran, former member of His Majesty’s Scottish Guard, and finally a Member of Parliament, was arrested and imprisoned for nearly three years under an Orwellian law in England, without formal charges or a trial, because he had discovered and was attempting to expose the orchestrators of WWII.

Edward I banished the Jews from England for many grave offences endangering the welfare of his realm and lieges, which were to a great extent indicated in the Statutes of Jewry, enacted by his Parliament in 1290, the Commons playing a prominent part.
The King of France very shortly followed suit, as did other Rulers in Christian Europe. So grave did the situation for the Jews in Europe become, that an urgent appeal for help and advice was addressed by them to the Sanhedrin, then located at Constantinople.
This appeal was sent over the signature of Chemor, Rabbi of Arles in Provence, on the 13th January, 1489. The reply came in November, 1489, which was issued over the signature of V.S.S. V.F.F. Prince of the Jews. It advised the Jews of Europe to adopt the tactics of the Trojan Horse; to make their sons Christian priests, lawyers, doctors, etc., and work to destroy the Christian structure from within.
The first notable repercussion to this advice occurred in Spain in the reign of Ferdinand and Isabella. Many Jews were by then enrolled as Christians, but remaining secretly Jews were working to destroy the Christian church in Spain.
So grave became the menace finally, that the Inquisition was instituted in an endeavour to cleanse the country from these conspirators. Once again the Jews were compelled to commence an exodus from yet another country, whose hospitality they had abused.”

    • Homosexuality and Pedophile as well as pornography in the highest scale have existed from the very beginnings and the church pays off for silence. I’ve met good and dedicated priests, but being silent makes them accomplices of many crimes. The Vatican will crumble -Pope Francisco is going to be the last reigning pope in the corrupt imperial kingdom of the Vatican. We are The Church, in spite of all the harm done, we are faithful followers of our Christian beliefs and will die in Christ.

      • Homosexuality (at least the practice of it), is a sin. The Holy Catholic Church did not corner the market on this sin or any other. Still, those in it, as well as well as those who work against Her, are sinners.

The clergy are called to serve as role models. Obviously, not all of them are fulfilling their obligations. Enemies of the Church take delight in this. I would like to point out that disgusting behavior exists everywhere, not just in the Catholic Church.

It is more troubling because the expectations and standards are higher. I can think of no “denomination” or other confession that has not had this problem. This also includes civic groups, Boy Scouts, schools, YMCA, etc..

Besides the pleasure it provides for enemies of the Church, it raises the obvious question of why things are not done to end this. It doesn’t help that the current Pope seems untroubled by it. “The Church” is NOT the Pope. All that I know of him is what I read and frankly, it isn’t good.

  9. From the pulpit they are so righteous, behind closed doors they are the devil without horns!

  10. Wow. Poor my church. Sodomite priests. Shame.

  11. Someone who knows classical Latin, both the language and the literature, wrote in an analysis on the Web that ‘Amoris Laetitia’ really means ‘The Joy of Sodomy.’

    • No, it doesn’t. The Latin words “amoris laetitia” mean “the joy” in English.

But I do believe, with good reason, that the covert and ultimate intent of Jorge Bergoglio’s “Amoris Laetitia” missive is to legitimate practicing homosexuals. But the homosexual clique in the Catholic Church — who schemed and elected Bergoglio to be pope — know they can’t do this directly and openly. Thus, “Amoris Laetitia”. For if unconfessed and continuing illicit sex by heterosexuals outside of marriage & in adultery does not preclude them from receiving Holy Communion, then by logical extension, practicing homosexuals should also.

  14. When church leaders sin for all the world to see . . . we need not spend much time in wondering why the world wallows In sexual sin, degradation of every sort, broken homes, drug usage is ravaging families. When the common people cannot look to those in authority to find spiritual comfort and guidance . . . then all is lost.

    • Gadzooks, Auntie, it sounds as though you recently read and were reminded of Dr Weaver’s ‘Ideas Have Consequences’! Yes, I heartily agree, that “When the common people cannot look to those in authority to find spiritual comfort and guidance” then a very great deal, but not all, has been lost. As Dr Weaver so wonderfully & beautifully wrote, ‘The Apparent does not exhaust the Real.’ He may not have used caps; I write from old memories.

I doubt that anyone should find ‘comfort’ in or from anyone in authority; that comfort –for me– must derive from within myself, but only when I feel I made at least a passably affirming accord with the Spirit of He Whom I follow. I always censure myself, checking my intents and actions, by asking: ‘Is this how He would have done it, or affirmed it to be acceptable?’ Of course I’m not infallible, but I must have a North Star on my moral compass, and it will always be our Christ. Forgive me if I sound self-righteous, as I’m very far from that, just trying to explain my stance.

  16. Thank God for the true Christians among the Roman Catholics. They are a great treasure. And nothing these leaders do will keep the true believers from shining God’s light to the world.

  18. Even Pope John Paul II mentioned the smoke of Satan in the Holy See. Apparently he was helpless to do anything about it. We must be followers of CHRIST and pray to the Lord Jesus. Pray for discernment everyone.
