  1. So sweet. I would kill to get 8 hours of that kind of sleep.

    • Eight? Gadzooks, I was delighted when Laminine allowed me to get 6 hours after 70 years of 4! ! !

      • I hear you, after having children and animals for decades, now that we are empty nesters, I can’t sleep, go figure, lol.

        • Glenn47, here are a few tips that may help:

Make a list of what you REALLY like doing: do the 1st & 2nd items AMAP [As Much As Possible]. You’ll soon be more relaxed as to how your time is spent.
Do as I learned from Goethe: delete most of yr visitors, i.e., emails & causes; we change our lives to be as productive as possible using the least time & energy.
Forget all those pesky negative people ASAP; they’re a drag on what we need to do with the most important parts of our lives. Then you’ll live long enough to piss on their graves, life’s most profound pleasure.

I no longer need tranquilisers or pain-killers as I once did. The pains remain, albeit lessened, because the sources are safely ignored. I hope Steven reads this, as it applies to him.

          • Joseph, thank you for your generous suggestions. After working 2 and sometimes three jobs for years, my body was used to little sleep. After such abuse, I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 16 years ago and poor and lack of sleep is part of the problem. I wouldn’t wish this on an enemy, with all that goes with it. I have learned to listen to my body and try to obey it’s needs, but not all is doable.

  3. Things are so bad right now—and about to get tougher for me—that I envy this kitten. The little cat may starve for a bit. That little fox who had his head stuck in that can was rescued. But we’re all in a battle, and I, for one, would rather have Indian Burn than what very well may await me.

    God Help Us All.

  4. That is one cute kitten, and yes, it would be wonderful to be so peaceful that we were oblivious to the world around us.
