This is liberalism: Kathy Griffin is now the victim

After showing an ISIS-like picture of a beheaded President Trump, Kathy Griffin is now pulling a Hillary – she’s blaming everyone but herself for her actions.

Her joke didn’t work. The backlash was swift.

Griffin “never imagined that this picture could be misinterpreted as a threat of violence – that was never what she intended.”

She offered an apology and begged for forgiveness.

The Trump family responded to her despicable picture.

And now she’s the victim. She’s the victim of bullying and sexism.

I can’t even.

Now you know why they say liberalism is a mental disorder.

  1. It’s this upside-down thinking that leads me to consider that people like Griffin are under the influence of demons.

  2. The MSM is spinning this ‘victim’ crap.

She is a loser, not funny, and probably mentally ill from fear of falling.
But she already did years ago.

  3. So typical of liberals to cry “victim” and not take responsibility for their actions. Kathy Griffin did it to herself.

  6. And not only did she do a horrible thing…she did is with a very bad new hairstyle. Two unforgivable sins!
Yes, her attorneys now say SHE is the victim. That is a big load of poopypants ! That is the liberal MO –if one commits a crime, they are the victim.

    • LOL, Lola! Yeah, using her stupid attorney’s ‘logic’, then a rapist can now blame his victim and say that the victim ‘made them do it’.
Give ’em enough rope and they’ll hang themselves…which is what Kathy Griffin is helping to do.

  7. What she forgets is the internet is forever. About 6 months ago she said she was going to target Trump’s 11 old son.

She is lucky. If you target one of my grand children, there is no secret service to keep me from hunting you in the dead of night.

    • It’s the typical double-standard, double-think. It’s just ‘okay’ if they do it, but no one else is allowed, and if she does what she abhors in others, it’s not the same thing in her mind. I guess her behavior would be called elitism-creep, or creeping elitism, the habitation of imitating those who are controlling her mind. Or maybe it’s just Peter Pan syndrome with her. She’s still the bullying little bratling of a girl she was in grade school.

    • This is the typical ‘humor’ from SNL ‘comedians’. SNL stopped being truly funny after Phil Hartman died. SNL needs to be 86’d, ditto the Late Show. Real humor on TV is very very rare these days.

  9. Uh, okay Kathy, in your little world of perverseness, the target of your sick ‘joke’ was the one who ‘broke you’? So you are not only attacking your victim, you are blaming him for your own sickness?

I think what she is actually saying when she says, ‘He broke me” is he helped shatter your delusion you’ve been living under for God knows how long.

  10. Notice the dialectic of thesis-antithesis-synthesis. Mrs. Horseface is playing someone else’s game according to plan.
Logic demands a rule on non-contradiction: One cannot hold diametrically opposed views at the same time. So Griffin came out and apologized. Then someone spoke to her—either personally (which may be the case) or by implication (in other words, thinking about the backlash and how to save her career, based on what she has observed in the culture or the business, generally). In either case, she tried to walk in two different directions at the same time, and she’s fallen on her butt!
So this means that Donald Trump really is not the target of her derangement: Kathy Griffin is the target of her derangement! All because she tried to ride the wave of Trump Derangement Syndrome!

There are two religions which really are not religions but ideologies or political systems masquerading as religions that thrive off of this dialectical derangement; True Christianity is not one of them. I will leave it to the reader to surmise what those two “religions” are. One of them runs Hollywood and the entertainment industry (as well as much politics here); The other treats women worse than cattle. In the Kathy Griffin episode, we see the denouement of what either of these two systems do to people. Hint: It’s not what Our Lord does to people.

  11. Yawn. Same old libitard talking points: someone wake me up when she gets around to claiming that the Trumps sent the Russians (or Macedonians,, et al) to destroy her career.

    • Whoa! Griffin “never imagined that this picture could be misinterpreted as a threat of violence – that was never what she intended.” Is she serious?

What OTHER explanation is possible? She must be three times maximum stooooopid, as our Dave would put it: 1. For even starting this; 2. for thinking it was somehow ‘acceptable’ in some insane way, and, 3. for thinking [?] that anyone else would find it amusing or acceptable.

In Lincoln’s day I believe anyone who demonstrated this level of imbecility in politics was ridden out of town on a rail; perhaps she’d benefit from such a brief lesson. Just saying, just as she did….

      • Joseph . . . I think you really hit it . . . “Griffin ‘never imagined that this picture could be misinterpreted as a threat of violence–that was never what she intended.’ Just as another actress indicated that “she dreams of blowing up the White House” or something close to that. Why would you and I as average American citizens really think that this kind of rhetoric, or photo opportunities do not depict exactly that they wish the demise of our President? No, I think we have their number! A pox on all their houses.

The video of her discussing the photo shoot makes it clear she knew exactly what she was doing, and that she was well aware of what the responses and repercussions would be. She has no case.

    • The only thing she really regrets is that this load of garbage has come around to bite her in the butt! She never imagined that decent people everywhere would rise to voice their objections to her depiction of our President in this manner.

I hope that her career dwindles into obscurity.

      • Well, Auntie, in so far as “I hope that her career dwindles into obscurity” goes. I only have one question: “Who is she?” I stopped watching SNL 25+ years ago, when its classic people began independent careers, etc. Oh, to hear Father Guido Sarducci, Gossip Columnist for the Vatican Times again, expounding n the mysteries!! • Joseph . . . Thank you for reminding me how wonderful Saturday late nights were . . . 11:00 PM I was there in front of the television watching . . . not only “Father Guido Sarducci,” but “Rosanne Roseanna-Danna, the Cone Heads, all the others were made us laugh, and made us feel so alive! Now, that was real comedy! I would trade these filthy, vile newcomers for the old timers any day. Why is it that those entertainers had real talent, whereas today’s folks in the spot light depend on shocking and horrifying us, under the guise of entertaining us? Thank you for bringing up those wonderful memories. Unfortunately, today’s young people just don’t know what they missed.

          • “Unfortunately, today’s young people just don’t know what they missed.” My young housemate [29] just came home, and I cannot tell you how many dozen times I’ve heard him say “I LOVE the music from that era, oh why was I born so late!” So there it is, 45 years too late, a grieving for what you & I thought would last forever.

A few days ago many celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Beatles ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ album, a true musical milestone, as it pioneered the concept album, etc., and so many more followed by so many new artists.

    • CP . . . You have made me very happy, no I should say thrilled about your reporting this latest of event! Bless You! As I said earlier . . . I hope that her career dwindles into obscurity. It would appear that is what is happening! Thank you to all the brave Americans who stood up for decency and right by not just accepting her depraved behavior (and that of the photographer involved.) I think that when she went on tv to boo hoo about being a victim of the Trump family . . . . . well, that was really a bridge too far!

  15. Griffin committed a (new word)–Hickenlooper (noun): a valueless apology containing no substance or true repentance and is done only for political or personal self-benefit. And in her case, it completely backfired.

    • Ditto Josh. Methinks not all is lost to her—she could probably pull in $100 a day from Soros to don a black hood and burn something down here in CA…preferably at a University or college town…..This ought to supplement her unemployment. She probably won’t even have to “claim” it either at the unemployment office OR on income taxes.

  19. This made me so angry of course. To be honest, I don’t think it’s ok if either side does or says threatening things. I’m just pretty sure threats, actual or implied, come more from the left.
One of my lib cousins on social media posted a pic (sort of a meme I guess), stating “if you were ok with this you don’t get to be upset at Kathy Griffin.” It was a collage of bad things, I guess from conservatives, including Obama effigy. He should know all the hypocritical leftist stuff but ugh, I don’t feel like arguing.
