And to think liberals/Democrats/Progressives never cease to congratulate themselves on their “tolerance”.
Cassandra Fairbanks reports for Big League Politics, May 14, 2017, that Paydirt, a whiskey bar in Portland, Oregon, is offering free whiskey for life to its patrons if they would “punch” Trump White House chief strategist and conservative nationalist Steve Bannon.
As proof, here’s a receipt from Paydirt with the offer printed on the bottom:
Under 18 U.S.C. § 875, 18 U.S.C. § 876 and other statutes, it is a Class C or D felony to threaten public officials other than the president, which carries maximum penalties of 5 or 10 years. It is also against the law to solicit violence against public officials.
On election night, 2016, Paydirt was so confident Hillary Rotten Clinton would win, the bar offered a free champagne toast to the “future Madame President”. Its advertisement said:
“Election Night at Paydirt: Free champagne toast to our future Madame President. And if that doesn’t happen? Whiskey!”
When Donald Trump was inaugurated as President, Paydirt donated a portion of its inauguration day sales to kill unborn human beings at Planned Parenthood. The bar advertised on its Twitter account @paydirtpdx:
“Inauguration Day is not going to be easy. We’ll be donating a portion of ALL sales this Friday to Planned Parenthood. Come drink with us.”
The bar also featured a Trump pinata and frequently uses anti-Trump imagery in their advertisements.
The email account listed on the Paydirt website was inactive when Fairbanks reached out to the bar for comment. Phone calls to Paydirt were not answered by the time of publishing.
The bar is owned by Ezra Caraeff, who also owns The Old Gold bar, also in Portland. In February, Old Gold bar receipts had a message printed on the bottom, encouraging violence against Trump supporters whom Caraeff calls “Nazis”:
“Is it Okay to Punch a Nazi? Yes.”
Caraeff has locked his Twitter account and that of Paydirt, as well as taken down Paydirt’s Facebook page.
