82-year-old bisexual trolls Tinder for sex

Tinder is a mobile app that facilitates communication between mutually interested users, allowing matched users to chat. The app is most commonly used as a dating app or for hookups — casual sex without relationships. That, in turn, has led to an uptick of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) from use of Tinder and similar apps.

See DCG’s post of January 23, 2016, “Tinder adds health section after AIDS charity put up billboards linking dating app to chlamydia and gonorrhea“.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, which is named after Saint Valentine — a priest who, in the second half of the 3rd century, was arrested and killed by the Roman Emperor Claudius for secretly marrying Christian couples during a time of persecution in the Church. Legend has it that while he was imprisoned and waiting for his martyrdom, he sent letters to his fellow Christians signing them, “From Your Valentine.” (See “St. Valentine“ and “Valentine’s Day and the meaning of true love“)

New York Post chose to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a revolting article on an 82-year-old New York woman who calls herself an actress/singer/songwriter named D’yan Forest (almost certainly a stage name), and uses Tinder to look for casual sex with men and women.

Alexandra Klausner reports for New York Post, Feb. 14, 2017, that the 82-year-old singer-songwriter from New York City “is looking for a good time.”

D’yan Forest says that while many of her friends have given up on sex, she’ll never stop craving “intimacy”. She told The Post with a chuckle, “It ain’t over ’til the fat lady’s dead”.

The octogenarian, who identifies as bisexual, sings about checking out the boys and girls on Tinder with song lyrics like, “I like a schlong that’s hard, or a snatch that’s ginger.”

She says her desire to date is greater than ever: “My friends who sit home with their old husbands or whatever, and watch television, they don’t want sex anymore. And I think it’s because they’re bored to death! The older men my age don’t really interest me. They don’t think a woman is equal.” It’s younger men who excite her but the sex-crazed octogenarian laments she’s too old to attract them: “It’s rough and I would love to have sex. I’m not giving up hope. I’m just as vibrant emotionally, intellectually, sexually as I was in my 20s and 30s.”

Forest says she plans to go to meetups so that she can meet new people who share her interests, “I sometimes go out in the evenings, to a bar or a local place, where you sit around and talk.”

Forest was married soon after graduating from Middlebury College, where she was the only Jewish student, and stayed with her husband for four years. She told Lilith: “I was a stupid virgin when I met him. If I had fooled around before marriage, I would have known not to marry him.”

  1. Keep on looking, D’yan, because in your case that’s all you’re going to get, unless it comes to pass that you meet another degenerate ‘tuned’ to your wave length. So keep wiggling your antennae, and it may come to pass.

As for myself, having had a long & lusty love life, at 74 I’m glad those fires have been banked so I can be comforted by warm recollections of just how very wonderful women can be, more so than men, as they complete what God meant for us to be, IMO, of course.

  2. This elderly actress should buy a lifelike ‘dummy’ and try the Duke’s cure
“If music be the food of love*, play on,
Give me excess of it; that surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken, and so die”. Twelfth Night, Shakespeare.
Not that i’m condemning her insatiable desire or anything, but I think she may be right off her rocker. Geez, why am I laughing…
    *substitute “sex”

  5. An 82 year old , be they male or female ; trolling for sex will have as much luck as a blind person at target practice .

  6. Quite dangerous for her. She’s more liable to be robbed blind and possibly killed than to get sex.

    • That’s very terribly true, as she’s made herself vulnerable to those skilled in senior abuse. I know all-too-well what that’s about, as two expert con men ‘helped’ me in the three years I had 2 operations and a long recovery to simply walk. Now I’m in 3 year’s recovery from their theft! She could even be murdered.

      • Joseph . . . You have pointed out something that is very critical to those of use who are getting older. There may be times due to our own ill health that we need to have a “helping hand” on occasion. That doesn’t mean we need unscrupulous people to victimize us financially, or in any other way. We still need to be very careful who we allow access to our monies, credit cars, personal items of financial worth, and the like. I am afraid that this woman may well be headed for some rocky times if she does not watch what she is doing.

  7. D’yan, go to a men’s prison with a fistful of pardons.
Good luck, you will need it.

  8. The fact that the NY Times chose to run this article on Valentine’s Day is evidence of the depravity of our country. This woman is ill. They also chose to run an article claiming that Pizzagate is “fake news.” Since this paper is owned by a Hillary Clinton supporter, Carlos Slim who is reviled as a villain in his own country, I don’t understand why anyone even reads it anymore. NY Times no longer has an ounce of credibility.

    • Diane . . . I could not agree more that featuring an aged bisexual and displaying her pitiful choices and current life situation hardly have anything do with the celebration of St Valentine’s Day. It was rather a sad and pitiful peach, when it should have featured real people who are in love, in real love, not just those who are trolling for a one night stand. This whole article was just pitiful.

    • It’s the NY Post, not the NYT, but your point is still valid!

  9. I have read where older people can have an acceleration in their sexual urges from medical causes. Some seniors crave attention also. Sounds like her problem.
She is putting herself in a dangerous position. She needs to join senior clubs and go from there.
Does she not have any family? If so, are they aware of what is going on?
Right now she reeks of desperation, and the need for help.

  10. Thanks Dr Eowyn for pointing out that it was the NY Post who ran this. I don’t know why I thought it was the NY Times when I read this, except for the fact that all newspapers publish fake news and garbage.

  11. She could be a very senile and lonely 82 year old woman; or maybe she is just depraved. Hugh Hefner and Bill Clinton, for example, are examples of aging men, who have been morally depraved since their younger years, and still remain the same. For a newspaper to print such, is exploitation of an elder who may not be in her right mind. Considering aged and feeble women, who often get raped, robbed and murdered, it’s not wise for a newspaper to print such an article. She has a flat look in her eyes, rather robotic, like someone with Organic Brain Syndrome or age related mental decline. I, too, wonder if she has any family who knows about her trolling for hook-ups, because she is putting herself in danger. Leeann
