President Trump fulfills more promises: build wall, defund sanctuary cities, rebuild infrastructure & manufacturing, work toward energy independence

On his first full day of work as President of the United States of America, Donald Trump fulfilled three of the promises he had made to us:

  • End government funding of International Planned Parenthood and other overseas pro-abortion groups.
  • Withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which immediately won Trump unanimous approval and support from labor unions.
  • Freeze all hiring in the federal work force.

Today, January 25, on his third full day on the job in the White House, President Trump fulfilled more campaign promises — those concerning the wall and illegal immigration.

Reuters reports that during an appearance at the Department of Homeland Security, now under new management of retired General John Kelly (gone is Obama’s Jeh Johnson, hooray!), President Trump signed two executive orders:

  1. An executive order on building a wall along the roughly 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border. In an interview with ABC News on Wednesday, President Trump said planning for the construction will begin immediately; construction would start within months; and that Mexico would pay back to the United States “100 percent” of the costs.
  2. An executive order to strip federal grant money from “sanctuary” states and cities, e.g., San Francisco, often governed by Democrats, which violate federal immigration laws by shielding illegal migrants, including those with a violent criminal history. White House spokesman Sean Spicer said, “The American people are no longer going to have to be forced to subsidize this disregard for our laws.”

For a more detailed account of the above two executive orders, see “U.S. bishops oppose President Trump on border wall and illegal immigrants“.

Yesterday, his second full day on the job, President Trump fulfilled his promises on rebuilding America’s infrastructure, restoring manufacturing jobs, and achieving greater energy autonomy by signing:

  1. An executive order expediting environmental reviews and approvals for high priority infrastructure projects, such as improving the U.S. electric grid and telecommunications systems and repairing and upgrading critical port facilities, airports, pipelines, bridges, and highways.
  2. A presidential memorandum streamlining permitting and reducing regulatory burdens for domestic manufacturing so as “to support the expansion of manufacturing in the United States”.
  3. A presidential memorandum regarding construction of American pipelines, “under which all new pipelines, as well as retrofitted, repaired, or expanded pipelines, inside the borders of the United States, including portions of pipelines, use materials and equipment produced in the United States, to the maximum extent possible and to the extent permitted by law.”
  4. A presidential memorandum regarding construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline: “In accordance with Executive Order 11423 of August 16, 1968, as amended, and Executive Order 13337 of April 30, 2004, the Secretary of State has delegated authority to . . . issue a Presidential permit for any cross-border pipeline project that ‘would serve the national interest.'” Accordingly, pursuant to the authority vested in him as President “by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,” President Trump hereby invites “TransCanada Keystone Pipeline, L.P. (TransCanada), to promptly re-submit its application to the Department of State for a Presidential permit for the construction and operation of the Keystone XL Pipeline, a major pipeline for the importation of petroleum from Canada to the United States.”
  5. A presidential memorandum regarding construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline: Believing that “construction and operation of lawfully permitted pipeline infrastructure serve the national interest,” President Trump hereby directs the Secretary of the Army to “instruct the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers . . . to review and approve in an expedited manner, to the extent permitted by law . . . requests for approvals to construct and operate” the 1,100-mile Dakota Access Pipeline, more than 90% of it is completed, which would “carry approximately 500,000 barrels per day of crude oil from the Bakken and Three Forks oil production areas in North Dakota to oil markets in the United States.”

In the coming days, President Trump is also expected to take action to secure U.S. national security by blocking the issuing of visas to “refugees” from Muslim-majority Middle Eastern and North African countries including Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Yemen.

God bless President Donald John Trump.

Please pray for his safety.

Please pray for America.

  4. It’s about time the XL pipe line was approved. The oil has been traveling accross the US for a long time now. The only difference is that once the pipeline is built the oil will bypass railroad tracks that its been traveling on which are owned by Birkshire Hathaway. Same oil. Same destination. BH, mostly owned by warren buffett, profits from every train car of oil that travels across their tracks. buffett contributes heavily to democrats in general, to hellary specifically and also owns in whole or in part: GEICO, BNSF Railway, Lubrizol, Dairy Queen, Fruit of the Loom, Helzberg Diamonds, FlightSafety International, Pampered Chef, and NetJets, and also owns 43.63% of the Kraft Heinz Company, an undisclosed percentage of Mars Incorporated, and significant minority holdings in American Express, The Coca-Cola Company, Wells Fargo, IBM and Restaurant Brands International. More boycott fodder.

  5. I don’t know about anyone else, but IMO there was rampant rigging and tampering for the last three presidential elections:
    Voting machine ‘issues’
    Ballots getting lost
    Voter ID issues resulting in individuals voting numerous times
    Challenges to voting laws saying strict laws targeted blacks
    Busing in people to vote.

    Election boards cooking the books

    It was a mystery why Obama won, and why Trump did not achieve popular vote. It’s well past time this whole situation gets reviewed, but before, their was collusion between the parties. They would determine the winner before election day.
    They certainly tried to rig the election again this time but came up against a determined candidate and fed up voters.

  6. Let’s look at it from another angle—and I support most of what President Trump is doing.
    Someone I know (name withheld) works for the Army as a civilian, designing proprietary hardware and software for the Pentagon. Obama played politics with his job, also, delivering him and others a 16% pay cut and the denial of a promotion. Although he got about a third of the pay cut back (in about a year), along comes the hiring freeze, which applies to civilians working for the military/government/Pentagon, too. All right, it’s political: Every new President does it. So his pay remains frozen (at the post-increased level), and his promotion is not guaranteed, which he believes may be awarded politically, and not by merit.
    All right, it’s inevitable, for now. But that doesn’t mean it was the right thing for either Obama—or Trump—to do. And this is proprietary IT work, not bombs or fighter jets that won’t work.

    I also fear that, given what has happened at Flint, Michigan (still affected), West Virginia and the Indian Reservation, President Trump will go full speed ahead with fracking—something former V.P. Dick Cheney has profited on handsomely. I do not agree with the Left on much (I’ve been commenting on FOTM for over two years now), but fracking MUST STOP. Fracking will pollute and poison our water tables. And, to be candid, although I haven’t followed the Indian Reservation case much (I cannot tell you what tribe or where it is), this seems to be a case of persecuting a minority for the sake of persecuting it—and for profit.

    I remain a Trump supporter, and I pray for the safety of him and his family. And kudos are in order for his actions on the wall, Planned Parenthood and a number of other things. I don’t mean to be pedantic in any way. But when Mr. Trump errs—as all of us shall—he has to be called on it. I’m all in favor of the Trump Locomotive! But let’s not stoke it to the point where it goes off the rails!

  8. God Bless The Peoples’ POTUS. Give us all strength to support him in the herculean (steroidal) task of restoring each of our Sovereign States within the Republic. We thank God there is no “popular” vote. Each State must strive, beginning now, to clean up voter registration rolls, cease and desist harboring illegal foreign entrants and criminals with hard-earned American taxpayer money. These illegals have no rights under the constitution. We have a steep hill to climb, but we’re on the way.

  9. Absolutely fabulous article! My heart was gladdened, and I felt validated for all the prayers which myself and others uttered that we would have some relief from what was the current “business as usual!” There is no doubt that Trump is a go getter, he is a prominent type “A personality” and I doubt that nothing will stop him (God willing) unless his life is taken. I pray daily that he will have spiritual guidance . . . so when I saw the picture of Christ guiding Donald’s hand . . . I was brought to tears. He may not be perfect, but God can use imperfect people also to bring about great good.

    As far as the action on “sanctuary cities,” since Portland, Oregon has just been declared one by our new leftist mayor . . . I would hope that the DC government puts them at the top of the list behind San Francisco!

    God Bless America, and God Bless and Continue to Guide Donald J Trump!

  10. President Trump takes his New responsibilities most seriously and works an intense near-24-hour day to meet them. I heartily agree with your post, Dr. Eowyn, especially the last three sentences. I also agree with Steven’s comment on fracking, but, as he indicates, there will be disagreements with every president unless one is a possessed, cult-following idolatrous part of a human mutation growing in great number these days. All the more reason to pray for the United States.

  13. Friends, I’ve been concerned for the Creation –which IS our environment, as far as I can tell!– for more than 50 years, as a horticulturist, plant & animal breeder, and co-parent of three very healthy stable young adults, I take our charges pretty seriously [see Genesis, et al.].

    I’ve looked at sea & land routes for oil transport for more than 40 years [let’s face reality: it WILL be shipped, one way or t’other, and WE the People must see that’s done as responsibly as possible], as I now live on coastal BC and very near ALL major shipping lanes. We should have learned from the Exxon Valdez the limitations of a sea route, as far too much damage is wreaked upon land, sea, and air life by these ‘mishaps’.

    So our options are pipeline and rail. We recently had a disaster here in Canada when a US-owned & operated rail system lost control of a train carrying oil from the US through Canada, and the end result was a small town essentially blown & burned off the map. That’s NOT good, and we all know it.

    As consumers, even if its owners [Rothschild & Rockfeller are still the two largest independent oil companies, albeit disguised by multiple foreign & domestic ownerships], hide from scrutiny, we can demand that our politicos ensure adequate insurance AND safety measures are in place BEFORE the oil’s sent anywhere. Donald Trump is a property owner and understands this as we do: let him know: YES, we want the pipeline, IF it has adequate supervision in all ways.

    Sorry to go on so long, but when a nation loses a once idyllic town, and the damned railroad conveniently declares bankruptcy shortly after its cargo was responsible, it was a mini-9/11 for us, as it will be for you.

    • Section 3(ii) of Trump’s executive order on Keystone XL Pipeline:

      To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement issued by the Department of State in January 2014 regarding the Keystone XL Pipeline (Final Supplemental EIS) and the environmental analysis, consultation, and review described in that document (including appendices) shall be considered by the Secretary of State to satisfy the following with respect to the Keystone XL Pipeline as described in TransCanada’s permit application to the Department of State of May 4, 2012:

      (A) all applicable requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, 42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.; and

      (B) any other provision of law that requires executive department consultation or review (including the consultation or review required under section 7(a) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, 16 U.S.C. 1536(a)).

      • From Jim Stone, about both the KeystoneXL and Dakota Access Pipelines:

        1. Pipelines have flow and pressure sensors that will warn of the smallest leak at regular intervals along the pipe line.
        2. Pipelines do not just “develop leaks” the way a ship will, because they are not having their entire weight riding on waves like ships do, which flexes ships constantly and causes leaks. Expansion and contraction in the pipeline can be accounted for to prevent leaks easily.
        3. Tanker ships do not run at many hundreds, or thousands of PSI. Any leak in a pipeline at that pressure will rapidly lead to a very noticeable blow out.
        4. It is not in the nature of pipelines to leak. It can happen, but it is not “in their nature”.
        5. Even if the pipeline does leak, if the leak stays underground, who cares? That is where the oil came from to begin with. Any leak big enough to be noticed on the surface would set off a thousand sensors and crews would be ON THE SPOT INSTANTLY because the last thing they want is a fire geyser.
        BOTTOM LINE: Communists, who want America to fall, will be against a pipe line because time and time again, it is the pipe lines that work the best, the cheapest, the easiest, the most reliable, the longest. If they can’t successfully bomb a pipeline, the fuel WILL BE DELIVERED. And communists use victim groups to accomplish agendas the “victim” is not even aware of. In this case it was the Indians.

  14. Two of our greatest problems come from a cabal that manages two necessities for advanced societies, supply of energy and supply of money. The petroleum difficulties can be eased somewhat by bringing coal back as an approved source, especially with improvements that are being made in reducing its pollution. This will involve annoying those who would monopolize the source of energy, but the petrodollar world promoters have created too many problems and causes of destruction of our country as it is. We should still keep on with proper use of current ways and commodities, but they must be adjusted.

    • Pretty much…if I could get even a Half ton—my little pickup truck— of coal…I’d probably be able to heat my entire 2200 sq ft. home through CA winters, with a tiny insert into my fireplace, to fabulously cozy degrees for TWO YEARS. FYI…..MY husband & and I use all our “coupons/buyer bonuses/veteran bonuses/sales bonuses and so on…….to buy buy $25 Yankee and other jarred candles for 2-3-5 bucks…..this time of year….and we burn them all the time all over the house, when we are home. They put off so much heat that, many days at home on the weekends…our furnance does NOT COME ON UNTIL sundown…..IF candles can do THAT…imagine what a handful of lump coal could do….for about the SAME amt. of “global warming” detritus. I grew up with coal furnaces…I KNOW how little it takes compared to the angst and global strife of the oil energy fights…which have ESCALATED into even the possibility of nuclear war… heat a family home for the winter…EVEN in a place where winter is long and cold. Here in CA…LITERALLY…it would take a half-ton or LESS to heat my home for 2 winters….if I had the access to it.

  15. I’m all for MOST of what Trump stands for & is pushing for. However, the buck stops here… This is the scary part:

    “…improving the U.S. electric grid and telecommunications systems…”

    There’s really nothing wrong with the electric grid & never was. All “SMART” anything is a lie from the Devil himself. And if by “tele” they mean WIRED-TELEPHONE, fine! Keep that around. But, sadly, that’s not what is meant by “telecommunications” (Wiki: “Telecommunication is the transmission of signs, signals, messages, writings, images and sounds or intelligence of any nature by wire, radio, optical or other ELECTROMAGNETIC systems.”)

    What they want is to RAMP UP the flood & intensity of Electromagnetic (wireless/invisible/MICROWAVE) RADIATION frequencies to further the Spying-IoT-Network which, compared to the health hazards, the spying is of less concern. People really don’t know what they are getting themselves into with this. It is so dangerous, a form of slow-kill torture via man-made anti-biological EMR/frequencies 24/7/365 non-stop.

    This was “in the works” before Trump entered into his new Presidential office (though I’m afraid he would be “all for it”). Not only were these 5G (5th Generation) “mini towers” foretold in THE ECONOMIST of May 2015 (mentioned here which is where I first saw it: es-forum .com/Hear-hear-Californians-td4027893.html ), but also in that evil CTIA/telecom-lobbyist-turned-FCC-Chairman Tom Wheeler’s 5G press conference last Summer 2016, he basically said, “We don’t have TIME to wait for HEALTH STUDIES!” (ie, We don’t give a crapola whether we microwave you mind-body-soul, head-to-toe, round-the-clock –AND– at a STRONGER frequency than we already are!)

    Here’s the LATEST news (via an email list dated 1/27/17 from EMFACTS .com) re what Congress is CURRENTLY pushing through in that regard:

    “U.S. Congress moves to eliminate regulations that inhibit the roll-out of IoT technology”:
    The “Mobile Now Act” and “The DIGIT Act” have passed out of the Senate Commerce Committee and are headed to the full senate for a vote. They will probably be heard in the next week or two.

    Bill Info: These bills lay the foundation for the Internet of Things that will require a small cell tower transmitter every couple of homes emitting high frequency 24Ghz to 90Ghz which has never been tested for non-thermal biological effects (It is illegal in the land of democracy to oppose wireless technology for health or environmental reasons). These transmitters will be put in public right of ways with NO ability to consider health and safety. The transmitters will be ugly, decrease property values, and expose occupants to potentially harmful microwave radiation so that your home appliances can communicate with one another which does not seem like a necessity and your privacy can be violated even more easily.

    S19: Mobile Now Act (a) Short Title. This Act may be cited as the “Making Opportunities for Broadband Investment and Limiting Excessive and Needless Obstacles to Wireless Act” or the “MOBILE NOW Act”.

    S88: the DIGIT Bill: “To ensure appropriate spectrum planning and interagency coordination to support the Internet of Things.” It’s just as bad if not worse than the Mobile Now Act. It is basically written to develop a working group that will determine how to make the Internet of Things Happen e.g. regulations standing in the way, budget, how to use internet of things in government. The working group will be made up of NTIA, NIST, FCC, FTC, Office of Science and Technology Policy, Department of Energy, Industry and other stakeholders. This is a small excerpt from the Bill:

    (A) the identification of any Federal regulations, statutes, grant practices, programs, budgetary or jurisdictional challenges, and other sector-specific policies that are inhibiting or could inhibit the development of the Internet of Things;

    (B) whether adequate spectrum is available to support the growing Internet of Things and what legal or regulatory barriers may exist to providing ANY spectrum needed in the future;

    Very important – FCC wants to “streamline” the approval process for 5G small cell towers by exempting them from the 1996 Telecommunications Act!

    This will be voted on in the Senate in the next week or two!

    If it passes, it will permit millions of small towers (on existing light poles/utility poles, or new ones will be built) everywhere, including throughout residential neighborhoods, spaced a few houses apart, for the purpose of the Internet of Things, enabling appliances and other home controls to connect wirelessly. The frequencies used, in the GHz range, have not been tested for long-term health effects.

    The Bioinitiative Group has written a response to this, written by Cindy Sage, David Carpenter, and Lennart Hardell:

    From Cindy Sage on behalf of the Bioinitiative Working Group:

    We have submitted a comment to the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, DC
    on their proposal to streamline the process for small wireless facility permitting, and exempt small cell installations from normal regulatory review as now required by the 1996 Telecommunications Act for new cell towers (masts). If adopted, it will permit millions of new wireless antennas (small cells transmitting at high gigahertz frequencies) that are untested for effects on human health. It is the new infrastructure network envisioned to establish ‘The Internet of Things” where all devices, appliances and home controls are wirelessly interconnected.

    The FCC has not yet completed its investigation of RF health effects of low-intensity radio frequency radiation in the
    800 MHz to 3 GHZ frequency range (cell phone radiation and Wi-Fi frequencies) which has been going on for the last two years.

    We will post this letter to the BioInitiative website in the next few days [bioinitiative .org].

    As Barrie Trower* says: The people in the world, & there’s only about 20 of them, he says, who have self-appointed themselves as the “experts” on these things, they all live IN HIGH TOWERS above the “antennas” so they get to sleep good at night & do not succumb to excessive non-stop radiation. He also says they will NOT allow ANY antennas to be installed on the tops of THEIR buildings because they know this crap is deadly on a continuous non-stop basis. He also says there are MOLES in every government everywhere who have worked themselves up to the top to be the “eye/ear” of the highest govt. officials, who are telling the presidents & prime ministers that this stuff is SAFE. He says those moles need to be ROUTED OUT.

    *Trower: Former British Navy Special Services Microwave Radiation Expert & Spy Debriefer during the Cold War era; has three degrees to his name (two PhD’s I believe as he is a “doctor” in that regard); & a degree in physiology & teaching. Many interviews of him at YouTube & various radio sites. He should be around age 72 now. I wish Trump would fly him over for a VERY LONG CHAT at the White House!

    • Since they weren’t specific, perhaps hardening it against an EMP or CME is what they mean?

      • Wellll, that would be nice but I doubt that is the main reason due to the mad-rush that Tom Wheeler expressed at that press conference to move forward with proliferating the 5G technology.

        Trump had already chosen some FCC advisors before he was elected, & they were just as “mainstream” as the other FCC people about all this stuff. So I doubt the Trump Admin will do anything differently unless & until they sit down & get a quick education from the EMF SCIENTISTS/Researchers vs. Typical Bureaucrats & Policymakers, etc.

  16. People think I’m wearing a tin hat (how ironic) when I say that for years I’ve said the proliferating radio signals in the air are the cause of the mass insanity of the human race not to mention animals of all types. The more signals we add the more the cancer of insanity grows. There’s nowhere on earth to completely escape the ever increasing number radio waves. We have no idea if any of them could ever be safe at any frequency. Like a virus humans will eventually kill the host that supports them making way for a new biological or chemical life form on planet Earth.
    Color me crazy.

    • The only safe place is underground. RFs can only penetrate the ground up to three feet. They haven’t built all those huge D.U.M.B.s for nothing. 🙂

  17. While looking for another link (the Karl Hecht 1997 report on 878 long-term {3-5-10 years} Russian MWR studies done between 1960-1996: ) to leave so no one will think YouKnowWho, above, is tin-foil-hatted 🙂 , I also came across this one, hubbahubba. Read this one page from top to bottom & shiver at the monstrosity of it all.

    “RF/EMF Microwave Radiation Sickness in America”:
    rfemf .com/

    It includes 71 total references at the bottom;
    –plus a list of 36 Microwave/RF/EMF studies from 1982-2016;
    –plus some explanation of things I didn’t know (the word MODEM comes from MODulation & dEModulation of the frequencies);
    –plus some scary photos (radiating “antennas/boxes” are also in MANHOLES! Maybe that’s why the floors vibrate!);
    –plus, that North American women have the highest cancer rate in the world (2012 figures);
    –plus it explains the differences in the newer technologies from the older ones, & why they are so much worse.

    (Females, children, elderly, disabled, are more prone to FEEL the effects first; the “hardiest” who can cope with the frequencies longer are YOUNG MALES, not surprisingly, since they are the ones screaming for more-better-faster.)

    It also mentioned that: “The Wireless Estimator is an excellent online source for keeping track of Who is Who in the Wireless Industry and also for keeping abreast of innumerable cancer-inducing radiation projects coming down the pike for USA”: wirelessestimator .com (which also has an FB & Twitter).
    –To completely contrast with the RFEMF page re health-devastation from MWR, the Wireless Estimator site has a new article 1/26/17 re a study of the $moola$ that will be made from the rollout of 5G & its “benefits” that will completely TRANSFORM society. They are calling 5G a “COMPLETE GAME CHANGER”: wirelessestimator .com/articles/2017/landmark-study-of-the-huge-impact-of-5g-is-released/

    Plus, their Top 100 USA Tower Companies List (updated 12/22/16): Total towers in USA 118,723 (that does not include the DAS & smaller cells, nor “hot spots” {Comcast alone has 400,000+ of those in FLA}, nor, of course, Smart Meters of which there are 5.8 million of those in FLA as of last Spring): wirelessestimator .com/top-100-us-tower-companies-list/

    look it up!
