Trump’s war with the CIA

During the 2016 presidential campaign, the MSM made no secret of their partiality for Hillary Clinton.

Relations between Trump and the media came to a head yesterday, over a CNN report that the Russian government has “compromising” information on Trump — information that is detailed in a “classified” 35-page dossier, a synopsis of which was handed to Trump when he met last week with four top intelligence officials (Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers).

The dossier allegedly had been compiled by a former British intelligence (MI6) official for Trump’s GOP primary campaign opponents, and later for Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Another media outlet, Buzzfeed, published the dossier, including the salacious allegation only a pimply-faced teenager living in his mom’s basement would conjure — that Trump, during a visit to Moscow, had hired hookers to urinate on a bed Obama had slept in.

The CNN report completely fell apart less than 24 hours after it was published:

  • Trump denounced it as “fake news” and a “political witch hunt”. In his press conference yesterday morning, Trump called CNN “fake news,” and Buzzfeed a “failing pile of garbage”.
  • The Kremlin denies having a “compromising” dossier on Trump and calls the intelligence report a “complete fabrication”.
  • A poster on 4chan claims to have concocted the Trump “golden showers” story, which he sent to Rick Wilson — the GOP consultant who called for assassinating Trump — who sent it to the CIA, which then put it in their official classified intelligence report on the election. (ZeroHedge)
  • Carl Bernstein, who co-wrote the CNN report, said the MI6 spook, Chris Steele, had given the dossier of memos to Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who is overtly anti-Trump. McCain, in turn, handed it to the FBI. (New York Post)
  • In a phone conversation with Trump yesterday (Jan. 11) evening, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper called the 35-page dossier “a private security company document” that “is not a U.S. Intelligence Community product”. Clapper said the intelligence community (IC) “has not made any judgment that the information in this document is reliable, and we did not rely upon it in any way for our conclusions.” He also said he does not believe the leaks came from within the IC. (DNI Clapper Statement on Conversation with President-elect Trump)

Despite Clapper’s “make nice” phone call to Trump, it’s no secret that the intelligence agencies of the Obama administration, with their allegations of Russia hacking and intervening in the election to favor Trump, are hell-bent on subverting the November 8 election.

Trump, for his part, has said that he will reform the intelligence agencies, beginning with the CIA.

chuck-shumer

On January 3, 2017, responding to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow‘s description of  Trump as “taking these shots, antagonisms, taunting the intelligence community,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said something quite ominous:

“Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday of getting back at you. So, even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”

Is that a threat?

Former Senator Ron Paul (R) thinks so.

In the “Liberty Report” on January 5, 2017, Paul had an interesting exchange with Daniel McAdams, Executive Directive of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

9:28 mark: McAdams says Chuck Schumer is “plugged in pretty well to the deep state,” then quotes what Schumer said on MSNBC, that Trump is “really dumb” to take on the intelligence community because the latter “have six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”

McAdams observes, “That is very chilling,” and asks Paul if what Schumer said is “a threat” at Donald Trump.

Paul: “This is not a lie. I think he [Schumer] is speaking the truth there — better watch out. I think Trump knows about it. That’s why he has private security.

Paul also had plenty of other interesting things to say about the CIA:

“They’ve gotten us into so much trouble. The evidence is so overwhelming that they’ve been involved in many assassinations, not only…the Kennedy assassination, maybe both Kennedys’ for all we know.”

Paul said the CIA is so secretive that “even as a member of Congress,” he couldn’t find out “what was really going on and sometimes I don’t even know what was going on…. I don’t think they give us information. They hide information from us…and they mislead us.” So Paul applauds Trump’s plan to look into and shrink the intelligence agencies. But he warns that Trump’s reform will be met with “great resistance”.

McAdams said something that I’ve read on other blogs and sites, that there are factions within the intelligence agencies. McAdams said that parts of the CIA “have been in open warfare against Trump through the campaign. So many ‘anonymous’ leaks from intelligence officials.” Implying that Trump knows what he’s up against, McAdams noted that Trump has “surrounded himself very closely with military types, military officers,” and that there’s an “ongoing tension between Pentagon intelligence analysis and what the CIA does,” as in Syria “where the CIA troops are fighting the Pentagon troops on the ground”.

Paul said there are 17 intelligence agencies altogether and that “the deep state is involved”. Paul also said that he does not believe the Obama administration’s claims that Russia hacked and intervened in the 2016 election — “I don’t think they have the evidence”. He points out that it is the U.S. government and the CIA that repeatedly intervene in other countries’ elections — as many as 81 elections since WWII and 50 assassinations.

McAdams points out the hypocrisy of John McCain accusing Russia of intervening in our election when McCain “went to Ukraine and actually participated in the overthrow of an elected government” and “did the same thing and went into Syria and met with a bunch of terrorists” because McCain wants to overthrow the Assad government.”

8:45 mark: Paul said Trump “will have problems achieving” reform of the intelligence agencies “because there’s so many obstacles and he won’t know who really represents the CIA unless he is well attuned to the deep state because the real orders and assassinations” are given to the CIA by the deep state.

In its post, “The Final Takedown of Trump Begins in Earnest,” State of the Nation concludes:

“There can be only one reason for the fake dossier that was fabricated by rogue elements within the U.S. intelligence community. To use it as a pretext to delegitimize the presidency of Donald Trump by traitors within the Obama Administration and DNC, as well as rogue intelligence agencies.

That this unvetted fraud was then quickly disseminated throughout the global MSM provides further evidence of a highly organized coup against the president-elect. […]

Make no mistake about it: from now until Inauguration Day will be the most dangerous times for Donald Trump and his transition team. The very future of the United States of America now hangs in the balance as never before.”

  3. TY for this. The traitorous actions being executed from every direction draw a clearer picture with each passing day. The longest 8 days ever, and a very tough year to come. There is only one winning strategy, and that is EXPOSE everything – prosecute, expel, with no mercy. Trust no-one, because demons are everywhere. I pray for us all.

    • filia.aurea . . . I really like your thinking . . . “There is only one winning strategy, and that is EXPOSE everything — prosecute, expel, WITH NO MERCY, Trust no-one, because demons are everywhere. . .” This absolutely needs to be the MO to deal with this situation.

I feel a seething anger at John McCain; he is a smarmy individual . . . the voters of the State of Arizona need to kick him to the curb. The fact that he hand-delivered this dossier to James Comey, without substantiation, needs to be delved into–and the chips need to fall where they may. It is gross (and laughable at the same time) that he would be duped into putting forward something that is a fabricated story. This only proves that he is to old to effectively serve in Congress, and evidentially suffers from mental decline, or dementia and he should not be allowed to continue to “stir the pot” as has been want to do. He evidently feels such anger at Trump’s election that his anger and disgust has overwhelmed whatever intelligence he brings to the table.

I agree with Dr Eowyn, the next few days are so critical in the history of our nation . . . may Our God Bless Trump, may legions of angels be sent to protect him from Satan’s minions.

To all FOTM members . . . continue to pray for the well being of Donald J Trump and those who have been chosen to serve as his cabinet as of January 20, 2017. We need to have continued Heavenly intervention to insure the continuation of the government of this nation.

God Bless the United States of America!

      • Agreed, auntie L., 100%. I’m praying like there’s no tomorrow – Trump has a herculean task, unimaginable burden on his shoulders. I have never questioned his commitment, it is now for us to challenge any and all who do. Yes, Lord – we need you more than ever before.

  4. A threat? Damned straight it was a threat. Trump needs to retain his own private security detail until he sorts out the spooks. I believe the rank and file in all the government alphabet agencies are decent people, but it’s those at the top who do scare me because we all know who they take their ultimate orders from don’t we? I pray every single day for America and Donald Trump and his family’s protection and I hope others do the same.

  5. Trump will definitely need his private security force if he takes on the deep state. We don’t need 17 intelligence agencies. It makes me angry that those who have been delegated to protect our Constitution lost control of it decades ago, ceding control of our country to a deep state no one has had the courage to confront since. It’s really insane that our legislative branches really don’t run the country. The sinister actors in the deep state are globalists of the worst kind. Besides the wars and assassinations they orchestrate, they are behind all of the secret black operations we hear of from time to time. They have been suppressing energy innovations for many decades to keep our world dependent on fossil fuels, as just one example. Nothing in this world is going to change unless the evil ones are exposed and eradicated. We say obama, hillary, merkel , etc. are Soros puppets. I propose Soros is a puppet of the deep state.

  7. All of the major Intel Agencies were “Politicized” as much as possible by the Obamunist Regime. Also you have the old CFR Repub political operatives. We need to get rid of both! NOW! While the momentum is with Trump and “The New Broom”!
The core professionals that are patriots probably substantially outnumber the Political Hacks, so there will be an instant improvement.
Having a bunch of “Back-Stabbers” in the Intel Community is a “Worst Possible Case Scenario” at this point.
Trump is good at “You’re Fired!”, he needs to exercise extensively throughout the Bureaucracies, and the CIA and other Obama corrupted “Intel” agencies are a great place to practice.
Bad Intel is worst than poor Intel, and intentionally false Intel is Treason.
A leader can compensate for poor Intel, just another of the “Known Unknowns” in any plan, but bad, or especially false intel set the stage for disaster.

  9. On Jan 6, The New York Times ran a super sickening pro-CIA story, which was clearly written by the agency. The print article ran a bold warning: “PRESIDENTS WHO SIDELINE THE CIA DO SO AT GREAT RISK.” They omitted the obvious threat in the online version of the story. I have a photo.

  10. I see the need for a complete sercurity agencies overhaul and cleansing.
Comey has been carrying water for the Clinton’s for decades, his brother does their taxes, their foundation has given him millions. So out he goes.
Clapper, the guy that lied under oath in front of the world last year. Not to be trusted, so out he goes.
Brennen, the Muslim, explains why the CIA has been running amok forever and he isn’t to be trusted. He is not above of making records disappear, so out he goes.
Rogers. Another chump, out his goes.
We all know Schummer and McCain are scum, do they need to disappear.
I don’t know if four years is enough time for Trump to achieve all needed to be done. The people will have to remain calm and patient.
I would really like to know who is the high power behind the CIA, it isn’t Brennen IMO.
So did Schummer issue a threat or was it to scare us off? Yes.

The corruption of the cia is clear cut to the less naive. It is accepted that the cia is the premier drug cartel extant. Hollywood has even made a number of movies with cia drug connections as the major plot. Not that the cia is the only agency with their hands in such criminal conspiracies. D.C. is full of agencies and enterprising politicians on the take or invested in crime of all sort.

Most of us can certainly remember the “iran contra” affair and oliver north, during regan’s term. I’m sure their was little of washington that was not and is not involved. All one need do is google ‘cia drug connections’ or the like.

    • Mena, Arkansas airport under Clinton as Gov and Bush 41 as Prez was training fighters, shipping guns to Contras, smuggling dope into the US, and smuggling money all over the place.
It was almost an “Open Secret”, it was so prevalent. They had a big hangar at an airport in Mexico that was a storage and transhipping point. They paid off the local Mexicans, and the Govt gave grants to the Mex Govt to let it happen. And some folks wonder how the CIA got corrupted! It was somewhat exposed in the 90’s but the Media down-played it to protect Clintsky. There were books written about, and pilots assassinated. Nobody cared. The media has hammered on one abortion “doctor”, got whacked in Pensacola by a demented preacher for 25 years, but Mena is ignored. That is how our “Journalism” works.
May have been how the Cartels got started. The Cartels just figured that terror and violence was cheaper than all the bribes. And more efficient in “plugging leaks”.

As I remember reading on some forgotten site: “Only the little things must be kept secret, the big things are hidden by their own incredulity”. Of course with the aid of the media.

      • Just for the record, the answer to your query ‘May have been how the Cartels got started’ is that if one reads ‘General Joseph Stilwell and the American Experience in China’ by Dr Barbara Tuchman, you will learn that FDR wanted to send funds to Chiang Kai-shek pre-WW2, but could not legally do so. To get around this, he gave Henry Wallace US$5 million and said he didn’t want to know how it was done, only that it got taken care of [you can already see where this is going].

Wallace contacted Army Air ace Major Claire Chennault and his ‘Flying Tigers’ were the ‘solution’. “From the beginning, Chennault’s airline had links to the Office of Strategic Services, the wartime agency that had conducted espionage and guerrilla operations for the United States. The connection was formalized in 1949. By then, the OSS had become the Central Intelligence Agency, and Mao Tse-tung had occupied most of China.”

This source is a good general history, but I heard that Wikipedia’s now controlled by the CIA, so it doesn’t mention that in order to continue his operations Chennault accepted opium as payment for the armaments he delivered. This was bulky, so he used the Triad-controlled refinery in Hong Kong to make it into the far smaller and vastly more profitable heroin, which was flown to the USA, delivered to the OSS [father of the CIA], which paid for it so the cycle could start over. In the process, the CIA became the world’s ‘go to’ primary source for heroin and other hard drugs. So it goes: waddya think the Founders would’ve said about this? Yeah, I thought so.

  13. To paraphrase Alex Jones, you shall not find a MORE WRETCHED hive of scum and villainy outside of politics!
Donald Trump has done what Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew could only dream of: He called the MSM out, TO THEIR FACE.
And believe it or not, as awful as Barack Obama has been and is, I have to give credit where credit is due: He prevented both Hillary Clinton and Insane John McCain from ascending to the Presidency. (Now maybe he can have a career as a DOOR STOP!)

This all being said, President Trump’s PRIORITY # 1 must be to ABOLISH the CIA. As in UNCHARTER IT and fire all the current personnel of policy within it with a new Agency. And President Trump must read ENGLAND the Riot Act and command England to CEASE AND DESIST interferring with our affairs. But, Alas, with the return of the bust of Churchill, I am not holding my breath.

I would hardly think of obama as any kind of door stop, as what he has done is leave the door to our White House wide open to further infiltration by unqualified traitorous impostors bearing foreign allegiances. Just this previous election there were three indisputable attempts; namely cruz, rubio, and, jindal.

And I dare say half of the U.S. population has been brain washed into accepting that a person can actually be natural born of multiple countries through place of birth, nationality of mother, and nationality of father. This legacy of the illegal fraud obama and the scum that has allowed it is a notion that must not be allowed to stand.
