Media’s Orwellian censorship on Hillary Clinton’s health: HuffPo deletes article; bans author who fears for his life

First, it’s the New York Times declaring and advocating abandoning objectivity in reporting on Trump. Then, another NYT writer urges Google to censor searches by concealing information on Hillary Clinton’s health.

Now, Huffington Post is actually resorting to post-publication censorship by deleting two articles on Hillary’s health and banning the author.

As reported by Paul Joseph Watson for InfoWars, yesterday, August 28, within hours after Huffington Post published a commentary piece by David Seaman discussing questions surrounding Hillary’s health problems, the article was deleted, followed by HuffPo banning Seaman altogether by revoking his posting rights.

The link to Seaman’s erstwhile article now contains an editor’s note stating, “This post is no longer available on the Huffington Post.”

In 2008, however, articles questioning John McCain’s health were heavily featured on Huffington Post.

In the YouTube video below (followed by my transcript), Seaman described HuffPo‘s censorship as “chilling” and “Orwellian,” and the media coverage of this election as totally biased. He now fears for his life.

Seaman said:

“It’s chilling. I haven’t really absorbed this. Huffington Post…they’ve revoked my publishing access and deleted both of my articles that were published earlier over the weekend. Both of my articles have been pulled without notice of any kind, just completely deleted from the Internet, and both of those articles mentioned Hillary’s health…and I linked to a video that YouTuber Joseph Paul Watson had uploaded back on August 4, showing signs that Hillary Clinton’s health is quite poor, showing something that appears to be either a seizure or involuntary muscle spasm while she was questioned by a number of reporters. That video…has been viewed more than 3.5 million times. So it was a very newsworthy thing for me to link out to, people are talking about it…. Whenever a video concerning a presidential candidate’s health is viewed more than 3.5 million times, somebody who’s under contract to Huffington Post and to AOL should be able to link out to that, especially as a journalist living in the United States of America should be able to link out to that without having their account revoked without any notice…late on a Sunday night…. This is really not good. I’ve written hundreds of stories, filed hundreds of stories over my years as a journalist and pundit, and I’ve never had anything like this happen…. I honestly have never seen anything like this. This is happening in the United States in 2016. It’s frankly chilling, I’m a little scared…. I’m doing this video also to say I am not suicidal right now. I am not a particularly clumsy person. I don’t own a car at the moment, I uber around everywhere. So if I am to slip in the shower over the next couple of days or something silly like that, we have to kind of employ probability and statistics here ’cause I am not a clumsy person, right. I am also not a depressed person right now. I am a person who’s spooked out though. This is extremely spooky. I don’t like it, and privately I’ve said to some of my friends what’s happening with some of the media companies in their coverage of this election, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s scary, how they’re not even booking guests to do opposing views. It’s just these non-stop propaganda segments against Trump about how he’s so racist, these emotional knee-jerk points over and over again — that he’s racist, that he’s sexist, and he’s this and he’s that. But they’re ignoring one really big issue that’s starting to bubble up on the Internet. Certainly, I would not have posted about it had Paul Watson’s video had not already been viewed more than 3.5 million times…. And to delete my post about it without notice on a Sunday night and to revoke my access, which has never been done to me before…. I don’t know what to do. I just want to document it now while it’s all fresh. I’ve taken some screen shots, we now have this video, at least it will be archived, we can all spread the word. And in the morning, I can assure you when I’ve had a good night’s sleep I’m going to seek some very good legal counsel and see what the next steps here are.

Thank you again so much, everybody who watches this tonight. I don’t feel like I’m alone right now. Again, I am not depressed or anything, it just spooks me out. This is not good. This is not protection of my First Amendment right, not only as a citizen here publishing on U.S. soil. I’m not down in Brazil somewhere like Glen Greenwald. I’m not publishing controversial stuff; I just linked out to a fucking YouTube video that’s been viewed 3.5 million times since the beginning of this month. And for Huffington Post to delete those posts without notice, that is Orwellian, that’s a thing I read about in mainland China…. Something is up here; this is not unbiased coverage of this election.

Thank you, guys, for watching. And, again, thank you for having my back…. Just by watching this, you are a record of what’s going on. You can correct the record if something happens, and they start to spin some bullshit narrative. I’m perfectly fine, I’m not clumsy, I plan on reporting more on this certainly. Now the story is they’re deleting and censoring commentary on her health. Why is that?”

You heard him. Help David Seaman by spreading the word via your email and social media!

Here’s the video by Paul Joseph Watson to which Seaman posted a link in his now-deleted HuffPo article. The video has now been viewed more than 3.6 million times.

  2. That this degree of censorship should exist in the Home of the Brave, Land of the Free, should worry E-V-E-R-Y citizen of this country. It is so unbelievable that it leaves one nearly breathless.

Great, and timely post, Dr Eowyn. Thank you!

    • We should have seen this coming: When W. was Prez, everyone was complaining about Putin silencing journalists (I don’t know if it was true or not). Just wait until George Soros and the UN take control of the internet.

Actually, this has been brewing for years: There were rumblings in education here in New York over 20 years ago, when I was still teaching.

  4. Yeah, its pretty sick. I understand how he must feel. On the other hand, is it even possible that he doesn’t know what Huffington Post is about? Anyone that naive scares me.

Even people who “disagree” with me should know who’s who and what’s what with this propagandist outfits. If I were earning my living doing that I most certainly would not want my name associated with any of them.

This reminds me of people I’ve known over the years who always want to buy into the “official lie”. One tries to explain things to them and they roll their eyes and make it clear that they think you’re quite nuts. Then……, it happens to THEM! Suddenly, there ARE conspiracies. Cops DO beat people up. Whatever.

While I’m always glad to see the “metanoia”, how much can I trust anyone who EVER exhibited that degree of naivety? The “rightness” or “wrongness” of something is not a matter of what group supports it. If they live in an echo chamber what good are they?

    • Then……, it happens to THEM!
Yes, Lophatt–you took the words out of my mouth! There was an old saying in Soviet Russia: “You’ll know it’s true when it happens to you.”
But the good news is that this committed person is now on board to the way censorship is being employed.
On other matters, people–stop being in such disbelief. The unraveling has been going on for some time now. TV is there to lull you to sleep. It isn’t a left/right thing either. This country has been totally undermined.
And now the pope has met with zuckerberg. The new internet will be a larger facebook with its censorship rules enforced.
Just pray that Trump gets in. Even then, it will be a rocky road.

  5. Once again this pisspoor excuse for media has confirmed what the right has been saying for years. They should be ashamed of calling themselves anything close to being a news source.
The more they cover for Clinton, the more they help Trump. The people, are waking up. The people can see for themselves what is going on.
I put zero faith in anyone that supports Clinton with all her faults.

  6. Ariana Huff-n-Puff is a real HYPOCRITE—I saw her on television when Pat Buchanan was running for President back in 1992, and all she could do was complain about what a bully Pat was when they were growing up in the Washington, D.C. area. Yep, that meal-ticket and pension sure do come in handy.

    • That’s a good point, Steven. I remember her interviews over the years too. She is Greek and married money. She’s had a cushy little social life there with the rest of the phonies in D.C.. It’ all a “pass time” for her.

Now just about any of us here could do wonders with that sort of exposure. But we’ll never see it. I think I know why.

Anyone who rattles the cage must be suppressed. They would rather perpetuate a lie than correct an injustice. That way, they and their friends continue to make big bucks and hang out together at all the ‘right’ parties.

  10. The poor kid, but that’s what he gets for writing for The Compost anyway. (That’s what Makow calls HuffPo, The Compost, lol.) Of course, he may have been censored no matter where [whichever liberal pro-HRC rag] he posted his article.

I heard that Hitlery mentioned Infowars/Alex Jones recently but didn’t go looking for details. Anyone know what that’s about?

As for internet censorship, Trump is a little spooky re that as well. Here’s an old tweet of his from May 2013:

    • In her recent speech at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, NV, Hillary used Alex Jones to illustrate what she calls the dangers of conspiracy theories. There is a real threat that she will try to shut down alternative media websites like InfoWars and FOTM if she becomes POTUS.

      • She will do WHATEVER she decides to do. If she isn’t stopped…….., cold, there’s trouble ahead. She is not nuanced or subtle. She has no consideration for others. In fact, she’s a lot like Obongo.

Even Obongo has limits, she doesn’t.
